One Final Hope of Freedom: ATTN: All Anti Kraven Nations

The Kraven Corporation
04-12-2005, 23:40
The Room was dark and dusty, empty shell casings lay all over, and though through the Debry, people lived, there were make shift beds, dirty cloth for sheets, hay and old bags made up the mattress, a small fire burnt gently in the back ground, fires were never big in fear of attracting Capitol Police Patrols.

These destitute people were The Resistance, the Thorn in the side of the Corporation, For years they fought a secret war, trying to bring down the massive war machine that was the Corporation, but now they were failing, they couldn't keep the fight up, the better armed and armoured Capitol Police get hunting down the resistance.

At the begining these people faced hell, the collapse of their former nation, but now they face an even worse fate, Constant Patrols, being hunted by The Secret Police or The Hunter Killer squads of the Capitol Police, its a constant chase, its either kill, or be killed...

Numerous times they sneak into the City of Kravonika, attempting to attack the massive birthing Factories of the Capitol Police, or to hit the Massive Imperial Palace that shadows all of Kravonika..

Each time they attack, they are driven back by the In-numberable Capitol Police, or the Inhuman Sardaukar...

They are fighting a loosing war...

-------------------------------

"My Name is Jeff"

"Once though I was just a number, I still remember it... Its hard to forget when its Tattooed to your arm, and the back of your neck is barcoded..."

"I used to work in one of the Factories... Producing the Armour and weapons that I am now hunted by"

"I Opened my eyes to the world, when I accidentaly read some Literature that I found on the way home from work one day... "

"I don't know where it was from, but it described a whole new world outside the confines of the Citadel, The wall that surrounds Kravonika... Then I was Deemed a Thought Criminal, and Hunted down, I escaped out of the City limits and now fight with the Resistance..."

"This is where my story begins"

A man reaches out and thumps an old dusty TV set

"Is it Working?"

"Shut up, I've been trying for half an hour"

"Well it must be Broken..."

"No, It was working yesterday..."

"Try retuning the Ariel.."

The man swivles the large Sattalite dish, and suddenly a flicker appears followed by a foreign news presenter...

"It appears from early Indications that the Alliance between AutomagFreek and the Loated Kraven Corporation, has broken down... Kraven forces engaged the Sentinals of Automagfreek earlier yesterday evening, So far early Indications show that Nations are rallying behind Automagfreek to finaly, One and For all... Crush the Menace to World peace that is The Kraven Corporation.... We will keep you updated..."

"Could it be?"

"I sure hope so"

"Perhaps for once, we might be finaly free, We can live without Fear of Hunter killer teams..."

"HAHA YEAH!" the two started jumping around, cheering, until another man appeared.. Jeff..

"Hey you two, Keep it down, What are you trying to do... Call in a Hunter Killer Team?"

"Shit" one of the men spoke, running to the damaged window...

"Looks clean, I don't think any are patrolling tonight, If the Corporation has heard the news, I'd say they will be reinforcing their Defense Network..."

"Why whats happened?"

"The Corporation Assaulted AMF Forces yesterday Evening, I'd pretty much say The Corporation is at war now"

"Really?, I understand the cheering, Just think of it, Freedom... Decent food... A bed... Its time to get ready..."

Classified / Destroy After Reading
From: His Grace Lord High Grand Inquisitor Norogoth
To: Lord/Lady Inquisitors [Names Deleted]

Thought for the Day: Death is the one appointment we all must keep, and for which no time is set.

With the outbreak of the Automagfreek-Kraven War, the High Council of the Inquisition of Holy Xirnium has determined that a unique opportunity has presented itself for the destruction of the diabolical Kraven Corporation.

Recent intelligence from Inquisitors operating in Kraven suggests that there are numerous poorly armed and trained resistance cells whose goal we share in the destruction of the Corporation. If they could be organised and led effectively they could severely hinder the efforts of the filthy Kraven High Command. Your orders are as follows:

-Infiltrate these resistance cells.
-Make contact with these cells and offer assistance to them in their endevours.

Good luck, your tasks are vital to the continued security of the Holy Empire.

From the nearby warring Fleets of Novacom and Admiral Kukonois a great burst of transmissions would sweep the entire area, amongst them would be a small burst of transmissions in the slums meant exclusivley for the resistance, "Be ready, Help is on the way" would all it would say.

Shortly afterwards a pair of Unusually large "Parridigrams" would be hit by anti air fire and go spiralling into the slums crashing, there would be no fire or smoke, an observer could quite easily see at the supposed crash site that a pair of crunched shells around real Parridigrams had touched down as it were.

Into the outside world would step Enforcer Tamudoi his black tunic still in the wind not a hair on his body moved he didn't seem to even walk on the ground he seemed to float the air around him oozed danger he was a Black Skull Enforcer acompanied by a squad of Gold Skull Enforcer's all ready for trouble, their mission simple, get a copy of the Kraven Codes for Capitol police and to give the resistance a crash course in well, being a resistance.

The huge satellite dish turned slowly towards the lands occupied by the Kraven corporation, preparing for a new propaganda broadcast to the huddled masses.

Behind the news desk was a man dressed in the olive green and red-trimmed uniform of an Information Commissar, one of the propaganda experts of Ankhmet. He shuffled his papers for a second, and spoke to the people of the occupied Kraven territories.

"Greetings, comrades! In the name of The People of Ankhmet, I greet you. Today, we celebrate the crumbling of the illusion of the superiorrity of the capital police. In engagements across the frontlines, AutoMagFreek sentinels are crushing the Kraven forces. Reports of record desertions in the face of AMF superiority have filtered through, and- wha was that? Oh."

A voice spoke into his earpiece. More lies to feed to the people of the Kraven Corporation. More inflammatory news cooked up in the Propaganda Ministry, a shelled-out hole since the invasion of Ankhmet.

"Good news comrades! The leader of the Kraven Corporation has committed suicide! He was found in his office, a bullet through his skull! Comrades, now is your time. Take whatever you can and do your best to sabotage the Kraven Corporation! If you spot an official of the raven Corporation alone, cut his throat. If you see a capital police patrol unsupported, ambush it! Do what you can to free yourselves. Your bothers and sisters in Ankhmet are watching you. We will do what we can to help."

Amid the rebuilding of the heavily damaged port city, Kahanistan's gate to the sea, the Kahanistan Navy began to mobilize several Wasp-class amphibious assault vessels for transporting troops to Kraven territory. Six destroyers were to escort the icebreaker vessel ahead that would enable the troops to enter Kraven.

The icebreaker and its escort were ready to leave...

Secret Police, Kommand Bunker, Central Kravonika

"Yes Reichmarshal, We intercepted this transmission earlier this week, it appears that outsiders are trying to Influence the Course of the War"

"Interesting, Has any of this message reached the Citizens?"

There was a low rumbleing as one of Automagfreeks Shells exploded in the distance.

The bunker was deep below Kravonika and was well out of range of the VX gas attack and the shells that rained down like Drops of water...

"No Reichmarshal, Only the Slums outside Kravonika will have heard it"

"Good, Outlawing TV's and radios was one way to control the populace, stopping outside influence, Fathers forward planning paid off once again"

"What are your orders Reichmarshal?"

"Nothing for now, We can't spare any Capitol Police to form Hunter Killer squads... We will wait... Begin broadcasting over the tannoy system some Pro Corporate Propaganda"

"As you wish Reichmarshal"

The young Oberstadt Leutenant turned and left the dark Bunker, heading off to complete his orders...

-------------------------------------

"Quickly come on" Jeff shouted as himself and two others darted across a street, with a thump they'd hit the Outerwall of the Citadel...

Jeff quickly brought out a rope and a crude grappling hook made from a metal bar that had been hammered into shape, he swung it around several times before throwing it into the air, with a clatter it had landed on the top of the wall..

Jeff pulled it several times to ensure it had become secure...

He pulled himself up the wall, placing his feet against the Grey Titrete wall, slowly he walked up the wall, taking his time and carefully attempting to reach the top..

Soon the other two men followed suit...

Within a good 10 minutes the trio had made it up the wall, with a slow and gracefull, almost sweeping motion Jeff lept onto the wall itself... crouching low he looked around.

"Quick" were his only words as the two others joined him.

The Top of the wall was an immense structure, it ringed the entire city of Kravonika and itself contained Barracks, Ammuntion stores and on the surface of the wall, and built into the walls itself, inumberable Artillery peices and other weapon emplacements.

AAA cannon fire ignited the sky, as the three moved along the wall keeping low.

A door suddenly opened, as a Capitol Police Trooper exited the room below, carrying a large crate of Stick grenades. or Potato mashers as the Resistance called them.

Jeff and the two others quickly darted against the wall, hugging it as tight as they could hoping the Trooper would'nt see them, they knew the Capabilities of the Optical mags, and hoped to God that their Masks were on a standard night vision setting...

The Trooper walked past without stopping...

there was a distinct sigh of relife as the black armoured trooper walked off along the wall....

"Whats our plan?"

"We're going to hit the Ammunition stores On this side of the wall, It will weaken the structure and probably give the AMF fleet thats sat off the Coast an easier time, I heard on the news last night that the Corporation had used some form of Bio Weapon against AMF, Aparantly thousands of Sentinals had died to it."

"Jesus"

"Jesus has no place here, Here the Corporation rules and here only Deamons exist.... Remember that"

"Sorry..."

OOC: what of the Enforcer team that landed in the slums?

You havn't met up with the resistance, they already moved out, and at the moment Capitol Police are not in the area, those still hiding in the slums will veiw your enforcers with suspicion as they are dressed in black, and usually anything dressed in black has come to kill them.

OOC: Good point, Black for some reason seems to be a popular Military colour.

IC: Enforcer Tamudoi would take the area in at a glance, focusing his powerful mind he could feel the presence of several terrified personalities around, hiding, quivering. Slowly the man would turn his head locking one of his subbordinates with a piercing gaze, and the Enforcer nods, a Black Skull Enforcer's orders were beyond words, they were a presence, and a powerful presence, Obideince and free thinking were a corner stone of Novacom Military philosophy.

A pair of Gold Skull enforcers would advance forwards slowly with a cautious air, they had slung their weapons by their sides, hanging slackly by their sides swinging jauntily, a stark contrast which belied their crisp efficient gait. The gold and red trim of their uniforms would stand out, the very place seemed devoid of colour, black and industrial grey, The Enforcers shuddered, such an environment like this was considered to be on the same level as Valgen, regardless despite their urgent misgivings they advanced slowly, yet obviously they would near a door, it hung crookedly of it's hinges squeaking and squawking in the gently toxic breeze, they stood together, brothers in arms waiting in front of the door.

Enforcer Tamudoi would nod gently, reaching out with his mind he would touch the mental presences he felt in the building in front of the Enforcers, in their minds he placed a powerful and unshakeable compulsion,

Come out of the building, friends are here

It was done with no ceremony no waving of hands, such parlour tricks and great shows were not needed, and were benath a Black Skull Enforcer, there would be no funny buisness here, even as he pushed back into his tunic pocket a strange looking round disk.

A small girl, maybe six years old stepped out into the darkness of the street, her tattered dirty clothes hung off her small frame, she probably hadn't eaten anything properly in months.

"Jessica, Quickly come back"

called a woman, probably her mother...

the woman grabbed the girl by the arm and tried to pull her back in... then she spotted the enforcers..

"Y... y... your not Capitol Police... Who are you? and how did you get here?"

The woman spoke, while picking up her daughter and holding her close against her chest...

"There might still be some Hunter Killer Teams out, You'd better come inside"

the woman spoke quickly while her eyes darted around the street....

"Of Course," Tamudoi unsteadily said, he was ill accustomed to speaking, however he had decided that these people may not take well to someone idly toying with their minds.

The Enforcers around him would form up, slightly unsettled, the sight of such a starving girl, they had heard some of the AKA propoganda, but surely it had been just that, shouldering their packs they followed inside, Tamudoi would be first, handing to the tortured pair a small set of rations, food they had decided would be true currency in this place, while the AKA propganda had been dismissed as such the potential had not been dismissed either.

"Tell me please, what you can of the reality of things here, we've heard many reports all of them conflicting but perhaps you can shed some light on the situation?"

Tamudoi would already have a fair clue, but of course mind reading as well as use of other psychic powers was draining, and he may need to be at full capacity later. Also it would hopefully put the women and her daughter at ease, or at least he hoped it would, if he was wrong then he'd be putting himself in for a 'fresher course in psychology when he returned to the homeland, that is, if we return to the homeland the thought chilled him slightly marshalling his thoughts he purged the sensation, he needed his wits about him, not his reality clouded by rampant emotion.

--- Encrypted communique to Xirnium ---

While we may have had our differences in the past, I believe that cooperation, at least for the present, would be beneficial to both our causes.

Although we had previously gone to war in the Kraven Camp, better known as The Consortium, with the Freeks and Kravens now going for each others' respective necks, we have decided to side with AMF in this conflict.

When we speak of The Technology of Peace(tm) with reference to our defense sector, Brettonian Military Industries, it is not simply a catchy marketing slogan to our international customers. We fully believe in a peaceful world, put into existence by mutual friendship, military deterrance, and discerning national leaders.

The Kraven Corporation, on the other hand, seems only to desire war. While it is true that we, as Brettonians, believe that the apex of the human condition is in fighting, wars that lack meaning, significance, or even a goal, will eventually doom humanity, homo sapiens, to extinction.

In all truth, the Kraven Corporation is simply too far 'out there' to suit our needs. Its citizens are more like robots, the core of its military are nigh-indestructible cybernetic freaks, and its national leadership is a machine. Simply put, this is preposterous.

We stand firmly behind Automagfreek, Axis Nova, and the other Consortium nations. However, the Freek high command has insisted that we abstain from directly supporting their campaign in Kraven. They view this as 'their war' with an almost medieval sense of duty and honor. As fellow warriors, we respect that.

On the other hand, the sooner Kraven falls, the better. The Consortium, free of Kraven's bizarreness, has more important agendas to fulfill.

Perhaps you may have deduced (or enjoyed the privilege of first-hand experience), but the Brettonian Military is not one for covert warfare.

To this effect, we would like to extend an olive branch, at least temporarily, to assist with your efforts in facilitating the resistence forces operating within the Kraven Corporation. While we may have all the hardware and combat experience in the world, the aforementioned lack of sublty would hinder our operations.

We think you, as a discerning nation who has faced adversity before, can finish the rest of our overtures for yourself.

We'll be in touch.

"Well... " she spoke still eating the rations, she was very thankfull for some real food...

"Every night that you live, is one more Night of hell you will have to suffer tomorow. We are constantly hunted by Capitol Hunter Killer Teams, The Rove the streets with flamethrowers and Armoured APC's, everynight they set fire to buildings to flush us out, they scream propaganda at us, ordering us to lay down our weapons, that they are doing this for our own benefit" she paused while she finished of one of her rations.

"Each night is a constant fight for survival, Until Automagfreek Declared war on The Corporation I havn't had a good nights sleep, I'd be drifiting away when suddenly a Hunter Killer Patrol would be heading up the street, its funny you can't miss it. They use High Intensity spot lights to dazzle you, and the noise, the noise is unbareable, the engines of those APC's, The Reichmarshal shouting orders through a loud speaker, It was all too much to bear." she stopped once more, taking a drink of water

"A few of us would stop to fight, mainly the men, but some women stay to help as well... No one should ever witness what I saw... Inhuman beasts"

"The Capitol Police had found the hiding place for a group of children"
She laugh as though reminising about something

"I remember their faces, such innocence, they were all born out her in the slums... I don't know what would be worse, Born in the Citadel into a life of Servitude... or born into this hell hole, anyway... The Capitol Police had dragged the children out into the street and forced them onto their knees with their hands upon their heads, The Reichmarshal began screaming stuff on the loud speaker that the Resistance, if it has any sense would give itself up now before more innocent blood would be spilt.... We all thought they were bluffing.... we were deadly wrong... A Capitol police trooper Executed each child without Pausing... No one should ever have to see that... they were so young..."

A tear crept down her cheek...

"Are you here to help?"

Thompson awoke startled to the sound of an ominous hammering on his apartment door, his bleak dreams cut abruptly short. Exhausted and bleary-eyed, Thompson checked the time, 3:30 AM. Instantly Tompson’s blood froze. His wife, already completely awake, stared at Thompson with hopeless terror etched on her face.

‘This is the Secret Police!’ rasped a horrid voice loudly from outside, ‘Open the door in the Name of the Corporation!’ Neither moved, too frightened to do anything but shake uncontrollably as an appalling panic wrenched at their insides, turning them to liquid ice. The next moment a tremendous crash was heard as the door splintered and was torn off its hinges, followed by the awful sound of the heavy footfalls of jackboots.

Kriegsmarine troops burst into the Thompsons’ bedroom, throwing their sheets off them and roughly hurling them onto the cold floor. Terrified screams issued from a child’s bedroom across the hall, instantly terminated by the sickening sound of a rifle-butt being smashed brutally into human flesh. The troops of the Secret Police indulged in an orgy of destruction, shatter vases and plates while ripping down curtains and overturning tables. Thompson’s wife sobbed uncontrollably, provoking a succession of savage kicks to her ribs from a nearby Kriegsmarine trooper.

‘Ahh Mr Thompson..’ a sinister individual began oily, his silky smooth voice that of a viper, ‘the Secret Police has found that you have been indulging in asocial behaviour. Your defeatism and lack of constitution have been sabotaging the Corporation’s war efforts for months now. You and your family are to come with us immediately.’ It was a command, not a request, and Thompson understood straight away that he would never be seen again. It didn't matter that the charges were ridiculous, he'd be killed all the same. He knew, sure as he knew his own name, that he would be executed before the sun rose and his family would be sent to the Northern mines to be work to be worked to death – or worse.

‘Please, not my wife and child –,‘ Thompson began pathetically, but was silenced by a merciless stamp of a jackboot on his head, smashing his teeth bloodily. ‘Your anti-social family will be sent to the camps,’ the Reichmarshal cruelly explained with relish.

The dim sound of a commotion could be heard outside. ‘What was that?’ snarled the Reichmarshal savagely. In the hallway, Lord Inquisitor Horst advanced cautiously, his drawn officers’ sword dripping in blood. He had dispatched the group of guards at the entrance of the apartment deftly, confident in the knowledge that there would be no witnesses (for when the Kraven Secret Police came, most sensible people in the neighbourhood drew their curtains tight and remained as inconspicuous as possible).

With his extreme perception the Lord Inquisitor felt the subtle flow of air currents, the variations of temperature and pressure. His superhuman analytical abilities sorted the data and interpreted the sounds of shuffling feet. Two soldiers in the room to my left, four at the end of the hall, he thought grimly, his mind extra alert and ready for combat. A Kriegsmarine soldier stepped out of the nearest open door but was cut down ruthlessly by Lord Horst’s blade before he could emit any sound of alarm, the blow a high slashing one aimed to kill as efficiently as possible. Rapidly rushing inside the room from which the Kraven solider had emerged, the Inquisitor promptly decapitated the other trooper with an exact cut. Glancing momentarily at the battered child at the trooper’s feet, Lord Horst’s acute awareness instantly told him that the girl was still alive, though her heart rate was erratic.

Silently, the Lord Inquisitor proceeded down the dim corridor. In the confined space of the hallway the three Kriegsmarine soldiers that rushed to fulfil their superior's orders (to determine the origin of the hubbub, and eliminate it) proved clumsy in their movements, their weapons cumbersome (despite the evidently clear high standards of training and experience of the Secret Police). Consequently, the Kraven troopsy were promptly slain by the gracefully precise sword strokes of the Lord Inquisitor’s sabre before they could fire off any rounds. Only one more enemy remained, the Inquisitor’s prey.

Bounding abruptly into the Thompson’s bedroom, Lord Horst barely avoided the pistol shot of the Reichmarshal, a testament to both the Inquisitor's amazing reflexes and the intelligence of the Secret Police commander (who had evidently clued on to just what was happening). In the next moment before the Reichmarshal could aim another round at his foe, the Lord Inquisitor struck the officer of the Secret Police expertly in the chest, the sheer force of his open-hand blow sending the Kraven soldier crashing into the wall, dead. His spine was evidently broken by the ferocity of the strike, though the devastating unarmed attack would also have broken the Reichmarshal’s ribs and caused massive internal organ damage.

‘Who are you?’ Thompson asked unbelievingly, spitting out blood as he staggered to his feet weakly, helping up his injured wife.

‘That’s not important,’ answered the Inquisitor darkly, already stripping his victim and donning the Reichmarshal’s uniform. ‘If you want to remain alive, get out of this apartment now and never come back. Good luck, may the Immortal God-Emperor protect.’

The enigmatic Inquisitor handed Thompson a loaded pistol, calculating the man's dismal chances for survival at having being little improved despite it. Regarding the family grimly, he also provided them with skilled first aid and emergency rations that would keep them sustained for days on end.

His help rendered the Lord Inquisitor left without a word, back out into the night that was his abode.

A roar as loud as thunder boomed over the Slums, as a single SR-13 roared high over the Slums, slowing to 300 MPH. 4 Halo Force operatives sat inside, ready to enter the jaws of Hell itself. Each said a prayer, as the bomb bays of the craft opened. An order screamed out in their com-units over the din.

"10 seconds!"

The 4 men, John Polaski, a Captain, Charlie Talman, Mario Sanchez, both Master Sargeants, and Yoni Barrada, a Corporal, each prepared themselves. They would jump in order, as to prevent an accident. Charlie first, of course.

I always get the crappy job, damn it.

"Prepare to jump!"

The men stepped up, staring at the war-torn city below them. They made out the AMF ships in the harbor, watching their missiles and guns fire, little dots of flame in an endless sea of black.

The order came. Charlie thrust himself out of the aircraft. He fell through over 100,000 feet of nothingness, his O2 mask the only thing keeping him alive. Behind him, his comrades came, they too fell. It took nearly 10 minutes for him to reach opening altitude. His ripcord pulled automatically, and the opening shock tore the O2 mask from his face. He descended unto a building, steering his 'chute perfectly. Arming his LAR-10, he patiently waited for his teammates to land. Then, he heard the rumbling noise of an engine.

Al-Bahr, Kahanistan

Nighttime

The mobilized fleet deployed for Kraven. Aboard the icebreaker were several caches of arms, mostly AK-47's, a few M-203 grenade launchers, several dozen LOSAT anti-armor weapons, and flak jackets as well as Kahanistan MRE's to supply the resistance. Instruction on how to use the weapons would have to wait until the ship came back, or a Velkyan or other ship could take the Kahanistan instructors. While the armor would not protect against a close-range hit from a CP GPMG, it would offer protection from rounds fired from several hundred yards.

The AK-47 rifles were supplied with the same armor-piercers that were in widespread use by the Kahanistan ground troops, which had proven effective against Kraven troops in multiple engagements. The MRE's were enough to feed 10,000 insurgents three meals a day for a month, so that meant 900,000 MRE's were crammed into various closets and storage facilities on the icebreaker and destroyer escorts.

The fleet would take a further five days to reach Kraven... At the same time a similarly equipped fleet began shipping NBC suits to Kraven to protect the civilians from the Freekish biological and chemical weapons. While Kraven's bioweapon could destroy the suits, the Supreme Soviet believed the Capitol Police would put the bacteriophage on them to protect their civilians. Kraven would probably want to protect the civilians because they were essential to breeding more Capitol Police and they were needed to perform slave labor on behalf of the Corporation. Kahanistan wanted to protect the civilians because it was the right thing to do, though the fact that it would likely negate the propaganda undoubtedly spread in Kraven that Kahanistan was a nation of imperialist gangsters undoubtedly entered the minds of the Supreme Soviet. It would arrive at roughly the same time as the weapons fleet.

Lord Horst, now dressed in the filthy garb of a Reichmarshal of the Kraven Secret Police, confidentially walked towards the eastern wall of the Citadel. The fortification was a monstrous construction, both massive and bleakly impersonal, a monument to the pitiless monolith that was the Kraven Corporation.

The entry point that the Lord Inquisitor had chosen to approach was one of the smaller ones, but consisted of a massive reinforced steel door guarded by a machinegun post and several Capital Police guards. Civilians kept well clear of such locations, and aside from the Kraven troopers the area was deserted. It was nothing that a dedicated Inquisitor could not get through, however.

Sauntering up to the troops at the gate, the Lord Inquisitor assumed the darkly arrogant tone of a Reichmarshal, confident and cruel. ‘Open this door Immediately…' Lord Horst ordered, the barest hint of threat in his voice, 'I need to enter the Outer Wall.’

Marched The Capitol Police Hunter Killer teams, These looked like Every other Capitol Police Trooper, however Certain members of the Team bore great Flame throwers, while others Carried heavy duty Riot shields and Combat batons...

A couple of Capitol Police Troopers were also carrying a Large Caliber Tripod Mounted heavy machine gun, the type used in machine gun nests defending against AMF, the Two troopers manning it set out the tripod before loading up a Drum magazine...

The APC ground to a halt, its High Intensity Spot light continued to sweep buildings, as the Several Hunter Killer teams stormed into the Nearby houses, Gouts of Flame billowing out of windows, lighting up the Darkness of the Slum district....

IC: "Indeed we are, we plan on doing more than help if possible, Tell me though do you know anyone from the resistance," Tamudoi's voice had cracked throughout the entire sentance, for him verbal contact was a rarity, he would get used to it again in time.

Silently thinking to himself "I sense something, Fear, and death, in far greater quantities than just before," Tamudoi closes his eyes marshalling his powerful mind, "What is this? Velkyans? and a Xirnimite, they shall certainly act as a distraction, perhaps their only use, this Xirnimite, he has a powerful psychic presence, but he lacks mental training, most certainly." His thoughts continued on in this vein for some time, his presence expanded to fill the room and beyond, to the entire area, anything foolish enough to0 try and sneak up on him would fail, and end up going under, his mind was poised to deliver a psychic shock powerful enough to render an elephant unconcious never mind a human being.

"I forget my manners though, I am Enforcer Lieutenant Archus Tamudoi, this" he motions to the captain of his Gold Skull Enforcer Entourage," is Enforcer Captain Marcus Daikrell," He would go on to introduce each of the other 26 Gold Skull Enforcers.

Sensing disbeleif in the fact help had finally arrived he turned back to the woman, "Let me show you what I can do, With this basic demonstration you will see that anything is popular," He would turn to his squad of Enforcers for a moment he stood their motionless, as he gathered his thoughts, the air around him would crackle gently with Psychic Energy and the Squad would rise up into the air, and begin weaving round in a complex pattern soaring through the air in a complex dance before setting down again, slightly flustered Archus would subtly change his posture to allow him to lean back against the door frame without visibly showing fatigue, "I am trained to do many such things, now please if you can tell us anything about the Resistance I promise that no harm will come to you,"

Busy night in these slums, eh? All these SpecOps teams around ;)
Anyway...the arrival might be a bit over the top here, but I promise not to do anything else with big rockets :P Normally I wouldnt enter an already established RP, but II is seriously lacking in open, modern RP's that arent labled 'ZOMG Earth CXXVI ONLY!' for some reason.)

At roughly the same time as the Velkyain aircraft passed over the slums, another, somewhat less effecient, craft was passing over the perimeter of the Kraven city. Of course, theoretically it was stealth, and by Goblin standards it was, sadly, however, it lacked a certain...stealthyness.
For one thing, it was a very large rocket that was lighting the night sky like a beacon.
It already had a few holes in it and the Kraven AAA fire was not helping. The rockets course was arcing downward now, however, and since most of the structure of the rocket was hollow (fuel tanks), the effects were temporary. The rocket slammed down into the slums, taking out a row of shantys and leaving a shallow trench in its wake. Gradually, the rocket slewed to a halt.
Shortly thereafter, the local area sprouted Goblins.
One of the species unique traits was the ability to seemingly move from one space to another without having to travel through the intervening area.
And, because certain narrative objects must be observed, the rockets computer chose this moment to eject the descent parachutes with a comical 'Phfut!' sound, covering a few Goblins with the chute.
"Can we do dat 'gain? Dat part were we nearly all died was fun!"
"Joo shut up! We's on highly secret mission ta help some pinkos fightin' dose other pinkos wot invaded us dat one time."
"How'r we gonna know which pinkos is which?"
"Joo shut up joo horrible man! Yous be standing to attenshun! Yous be finding out what people we s'posed ta be helpin! HUT HUT HUT!"
Several pieces of equipment were presently dragged from the rocket, including a few shoulder fired missiles and rockets, as well as a couple of large kegs of (if you knew Goblins) very un-mysterious purpose.
The site was quickly deserted, leaving a hollow shell with a very sad and lonely computer in it to rust in the middle of the Kraven ghetto.

OOC: Sorry Blood, but this is bascially closed.

IC: Charlie poked a FO line through a crack in the wall he was leaning against.

An APC and a buttload of CP. Wonderful.

The rest of the team covered the nearby doors and such as Charlie preppered a block of C6. Big enough to destory the building he was standing on, he lowered the "key" into the stick and signaled Sanchez to ready a DRL-53 (single shot disposible rocket launcher which fires a SABOT hybird carrying a delayed fragmentation charge for use against APCs and transport helicopters). Sanchez pulled the tube from his shouler and stood behind the wall.

Charlie gave the signal. He threw the block of C6 at the troop formation, as Polaski and Talman threw a barrage of flashbangs at the enemy. Sanchez rolled out from the wall, taking aim at the enemy APC. He pulled the trigger, as a white hot backblast spewed from the back of the launcher. The rocket shot forth, it's fins extending, nailing the APC. The team then proceeded to open fire, Talman and Charlie with their ARC-4s (.40 ACP rifle, AP ammo), Sanchez with his LAR-10 (XM-8 clone) and Polaski with a .50 cal SAW. Cannon rounds and lead poured from the formation, carpeting the Kraven troops. Sanchez ducked under to fire, opening the roof door. He put down a few small C6 charges as well as a motion sensor by the door of the adandoned house.

OOC: its Cool, The Corporation and the Gobos have an old score to settle ;)

The APC exploded in a ball of fire, as the AT missile streaked towards it striking it in the side, The Reichmarshal scrambled out of the top, his frame a burning inferno... he collapsed to the ground a few feet away from the Wreck of the Apc.

The Troop formation had already broken up as the Slab of C6 exploded, sending shock waves rippleing from the center, The Blast took out one of the Heavy Machine Gun Emplacements, but already The Hunter Killer Team had regrouped, forming up into a standard forced Entry assault.

The Brought up their heavy duty riot shields, Giving them protection from enemy fire, their shields were designed to withstand enemy gunfire, often The Resistance groups would set up heavy weapons within buildings and lay down suppression fire while they made good their escape, so after numerous events such as these The Hunter Killer teams took to taking with them Heavy duty Shields, Flame throwers were brought to bare, as Velkyas expert gun fire took down two troopers, their Tanks exploding into a ball of fire...

The Sheilds held as the Hunter Killers approached, the flame thrower continued to lay down a torrent of flames, their attacking pattern well versed through years of Assaulting resistance fighters holed up inside buildings, Velkyas Spec Ops couldn't have chosen a worse place to hide.

One Trooper, a standard Guard armed with a GPMG reached round and pulled out a slab of C12, this was a much more powerfull version of Velkyas C6 and was designed to completely level a building, and in enough quantities, the entire block... Quickly the Trooper prepared the primer....

OOC: They're on the roof, silly.

Oh yes, respond to the air strike on Kravoknia.

"They're blowin' the building, everyone out, move, move!"

In an amazing display of agility, the four men took a running leap, clearing the gap between the current building to another, a sturdy concrete one. Sanchez ducked behind cover, and pressed the detonator. The C6, placed in positions to compomise the house's intergrity, exploded in balls of flame, bringing the entire building down around the Kraven soldiers. As the house crumbled, the four spec ops men slide down an old staircase, making their way down the street, into the alley ways, wary of any Kraven soldiers. Climbing into another building, they made their way to the roof, which was partially destoryed, and hunkered down scanning the horizon with their Omniscope and FO lines. They knew that allied troops were in the area, and put forth an encrypted transmission to any within a 20 mile radius.

The team of Goblins arrived on the spot shortly thereafter, and, in traditional Goblin style, roughly a quarter of the force hurled itself into battle screaming wildly while throwing things at the Kraven troops. The other three quarters moved quickly and quietly through various passages around the street into flanking positions just behind the current area of engagement.
The head Goblin, Shakac (Roughly translates as Captain) Squee held back with a few others, moving into the building where it was thought that the radio call had come from.

Outside two Goblins had goblinhandled a keg behind a concrete wall a short way up the street from the main firefight, were they were jamming fuses into it. This operation was acommpanied by much swearing and fighting as Goblins armed the object and quickly rolled it out into the street and turned it around, whereupon they both gave it a sharp kick and ran into a sturdy looking building.

"... when States-General opens nominations tomorrow.

The war between AMF and the Kraven Corporation continues to drag on, with several large military exchanges between the two. As our viewers know, this conflict grew out of the Kraven/AMF war against Kahanistan, where the Kraven betrayed their Freekish allies and attacked them, just as a last-ditch peace effort was about to secure an end to the conflict. Our viewers will remember that this is very similar to what the Fascist White States did, shortly before their total destruction at AMF's hands.

Rumours have reached our news service of a resistance movement, and analysts have speculated that these groups will be certainly contacted by the nations who have aligned themselves against Kraven. In the meantime, more nations have mobilised against the Corporation.

Analysts have indicated that the likelihood of Kraven's survival in this conflict to be low, especially as AMF appears determined to punish that nation the same way they did FWS. For those unfamiliar with the events of that time, the fate suffered by FWS consited of the death of every man, woman, child, and animal, coupled with the utter annhilation of every structure.

Anti-Kraven forces continue to shell the capital city, while in Kahanistan, reconstruction continues slowly.

His Imperial Majesty's Government has indicated that Macisikan will, of course, remain completely neutral in this conflict.

Private Chambers of the Grand Basilica of the High Ecclesiarchy in Naerath, Holy Xirnium..

‘I don’t like it,’ declared Grand Cardinal Ameas Vernius, the Xirniumite Minister for Defence gruffly, eyeing the Brettonian message with suspicion (as if the very piece of paper itself might be untrustworthy). The Patriarchate of the High Ecclesiarchy had all gathered in the broodingly darkened chambers of the Grand Basilica to discuss the latest curious turn of events.

‘Neither do I, Lord Vernius,’ agreed Grand Cardinal Heather Gilda ( http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a25/Dennis134/Gilda.jpg) in her typically refined tone, returning her chardonnay glass to the polished mahogany table. ‘It is clear that the Brettonians have their own agenda at stake here, something which perhaps goes beyond the mere words of their proposition. That the Corporation seeks only war was known to them long before the Freekian invasion of Kraven, so why the sudden change of heart now? A wish to curry favour with the Excessively Armed Empire, a desire to distance themselves from a now politically isolated former ally? Perhaps both, or neither, though I feel there may be other reasons also,’ the High Lady suggested ominously.

‘A trap, perhaps?’ asked the Chief Minister, Grand Cardinal Ertham Nidor ( http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a25/Dennis134/GrandCardinal.jpg ). ‘It’s no secret that both Bretton and their allies have no love of the Holy Empire.'

‘Anything is possible,’ explained the Foreign Minister Gilda, shrugging her shoulders nonchalantly. ‘However, I would have thought other methods would serve such an end more effectively. No.. whatever their goals, or the goals of the Consortium, are I feel they do not primarily concern Holy Xirnium. That they have abandoned their ally in the Kraven Corporation seems likely.’

‘If I may, Lady Gilda,’ the Interior Minister, Grand Cardinal Wallach began darkly, tapping his hand distractedly on the table, ‘it seems to me that, regardless of the Brettonian interests which have guided them to make this offer, Bretton’s offer might serve us as well?’

‘I agree,’ nodded the Grand Cardinal, ‘it appears that, temporarily at least, our interests are aligned in so far as the hated Corporation is concerned. The High Ecclesiarchy could definitely exploit the situation to its advantage, and if we play our cards correctly we can wipe out the Kraven filth once and for all.’

‘So we should accept their offer?’ asked the Chief Minister Nidor.

‘We should,’ announced the Foreign Minister gravely, ‘though we must tread carefully.’

OOC: It would certainly be an interesting match up, though I'd say it would depend on experience, out of the two, if both had relativley little experience I'd say the Inquisitor would be able to outlast the Black Skull, simply by forcing him to overexert himself. However the same matchup except with a pair of greatly experienced foes would be quite epic, the more experienced Black Skull Enforcer's have consdierably well developed powers and powerful reserves of stamina, Endurance is their biggest weakness which only Experience can really get rid of.

IC: Archus would be holding a large lump of concrete in his hands, while still talking with the poor woman the fighting nearby had caught his attention, the last thing he needed was a bunch of amateur's waltzin onto the scene blowing things up left right and center, better deal with them before they get too close.

Focussing his immense concentration onto the concrete, he triggers a reaction, a transformation occurs, or rather a Transmutation, the large lump of Concrete changes colour slightly in his gloved hands. No longer concrete, instead a ball of Francium, an incredibly dangerous element, and one that would go hovering out into the steets and making a beeline for the Kraven APC, although the strain was intense he used his focus to make the ball invisible to Kraven, Velkyan and Goblin eyes.

The Ball Hovered onwards and span above a large rusty barrel full of water, as the warring trio passed by his thoughts released, the ball descended into the bucket and reacted, not just any reaction. An incredibly large and overpowering explosion almost before the ball had descended into the water, Hopefully sending the nearby buildings tumbling down and blocking off the paths in this direction, it was a calculated risk, he and his men may need to head in that direction later.

Archus would advance forwards seeking to comfort the woman, large explosions had no doubt shocked her deeply and thrust her into the depths of despair, subtly his mind set to work again, tugging at the knotted ball of emotion, and increasing endorphin production to give the woman a high moment, a feeling of elation and happiness.

The Inquisitors Quest

The Capitol Police guarding this entrance snapped to attention, their drills were perfectly timed as each weapon was brought into the parade ground formation without flaw.

As the Reichmarshal, unbe-known to them, An Inquisitor Approached, the Order to open the Door was called..

One of the Troopers immeadiatly responded with a mechanical sounding...

"By Your Command"

The keypad was touched several times by the black gloved trooper, as slowly the vast Steel doors slowly opened, their heavy reinforced frame grated against the mechanism, revealing The Inside of the Citadel, A Modern fortress, what someone might expect if they were to travel back in time during seige, only more up to date.

Trams rolled past, hauling vast ammo crates, while Formations of Capitol police Troopers marched along corridors in perfect formation, their Units being sent to defend different areas of the wall... it was like a perfect clockwork machine, doing its exact purpose...

The Xirnium Inquisitor was in the very belly of the beast.

The Velkyian and Goblin Quest

The Capitol Police had fallen back slighlty, after destroying the building the Velkyians were formerly On, or Inside, it made no difference, hiding on a roof just made it easier to shoot at them. taken several losses from Wild gobo fire and the expert marksman ship of Velkyias spec ops, they had forced the Hunter Killer teams to withdraw back to a defendable position, However The Tactical Kommand, The Human Element of the Corporate Command system had been watching through the Command Relay.

"Command Relay, This is 8114325 Hunter Killer Team Alpha, Encountering Heavy Resistance, Special Operations Teams suspected, Requesting Reinforcements and Heavy Armour"

"Understood 8114325, We will advise"

"Acknowledged"

Reports of Special Operation Teams within the slum districts came flooding in from the Hunter Killer team that had been dispatched earlier.

Panzer Oberst Lorn watched the multiple banks of Monitors from the balcony Deep underneath Kravonika, this was the Command Relay, this was what Co-ordinated the attacks, and defense networks, this was the Key to Capitol Police efficiency, it was The Heart of the Kraven Military arm.

Hunders of Monitors Depicted what each Capitol Police Trooper saw, Officers stood hunched over a Map of Kravonika, moving models that indicated AMF forces and Capitol Police brigades.

Computer co-ordinated the attacks, while an Automated system sorted the incomming information and relayed it to each Operator and to each Capitol police trooper, it was a Hive of Activity.

The Tactical Kommand Bunker was an immense structure, several miles deep within the crust, it was Dark, the air was stuffy and the only lights were what came from the Monitors and Map Desks.

Panzer Oberst Lorn, stood at his balcony looking down at the Scenes that were unfolding.

Behind him hung a massive banner, a Huge Banner depicting the Twin hammers of the Corporation.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v399/HorusGodEmperor/Kraven.jpg

While Guarding the Room stood the Insanely Loyal, Kreigsmarines...

"Oberst Lorn?"

an officer strode up, His uniform was Black, similar to the Reichmarshals of the Secret Police, only instead of having the Insignia of the Secret Police which is a White Skull:

http://gravatthawk.wilypueo.com/images/nastur2.jpg

They had a symbol that identified them as Tactical Kommand. (OOC: Symbol comming up soon as i finished it)

"Yes What is it?" Lorn spoke his voice was low and deep, and through his almost hollow eyes he changed his gaze to this new Officer.

"Hunter Killer teams operating within the Slums are Reporting Enemy Special Ops teams, Your orders?"

"Send in Reinforcements"

"They also Request Armour"

"Dispatch two Emperors"

"As you wish Oberst" the officer saluted and headed off to complete the orders, while the Command Relay began Diverting SturmPanzer Units to the Slum Districts.
