The Steward of the Throne, Prince Noah Conners has "temporarily" removed Minister of Defense John Wiltz from his office after recieving news that Wiltz would be appointed as the Pro-Tem Arch Chancellor of Greater Prussia. Speculation is that the Steward had hoped that the powers of Arch-Chancellor would be transferred to him. When telephoned for comment, the Steward had little to say than "I have removed Minister Wiltz as he has a duty to his country before his region, and his accepting of the Pro-Tem Arch Chancellor position shows where his loyalties truly lie."
Meanwhile Queen Mother Heather Conners, mother to deceased King Nathaniel Conners and to the Steward, Noah Conners has publically criticized her son for his "obviously power hungry behavior".
Colonel Wiltz, now Arch Chancellor has declined to comment, saying that it is not his place to comment on the reasons why the Steward removed him, and that he looks forward to serving the Empire.
