Klington

The day started not as a normal day, the Klingtonians were never ones for clichés, so this day that would change history didn’t “start like every other day.” But instead, was different. It began with millions of Klingtonians awaking and rushing into the lounge to watch the Emperor’s speech on the hologram…
“For sixteen and a half years, we have been preparing for this day. A day that shall be remembered forever, throughout the annals of history. Sixteen years ago, our home planet was destroyed by the Sith… and now, our time for revenge has arisen, our revenge will begin with the rebuilding of our empire, atop the crushed capitals of our enemies!” “Today, we invade neighboring solar systems,” Said the Emperor Vonnix from atop his palace balcony, “Tomorrow the whole outer rim!” The Crowd below him cheered wildly.
The Emperor walked off the balcony and hoped into his hovercar. Emperor Vonnix flipped on his commlink system. A man in well-kept Klingtonian Armor appeared, “Sir?” He asked. “Narthaus, give the order. The invasion has begun.” “Yes sir.” Narthaus replied back. The Emperor than flipped another switch, and another man popped up on the holoscreen. “What can I do for you sir?” the man inquired, “We will be needing a little extra leadership in this war, so take that DNA of Admiral Tasak and put it to good use. Clone him.” “Understood.”, came the reply.
Meanwhile, above Phoenix, in Space….
Narthaus sat on the bridge of the Godhand. He waved his hand through the air, “Start the invasion” He uttered casually. The bridge officers set off into action, the excitement in the air was enough to convince someone it was the day before Christmas, and to the many of Klingtonians on board, it was more than that, it beginning of the end of inactivity, it was them doing what they were supposed to be doing, it was the beginning of a WAR.
A few seconds after the signal had been given, thousands of ships came flooding into several nearby neighboring solar systems. To the Klingtonian people, it was magnificent, finally, back to conquering, and it appeared this way at first glance to the military as well, but as soon as they go settled they found very little to no resistance. They were just taking over mostly lifeless systems in which no nation had laid claim to… Little did they know, that real fighting would be coming sooner than they thought.
