(OOC: I'm just starting out as best as I can, so If i made any mistake within this military analyist of mine... please feel free to correct me. I know I'm a Noob.)

On December 2nd, 2005

The Birth of the Offical Chao Fa Military is Born. Opening their doors to the Chinese Communist Party, the Republic of Chao Fa has adapted Chinese Military and cultral tradition into their society, and yet still staying attached to their own.

On this day, The Republic of Chao Fa takes a further step towards being another Red Nation.

Being a New Born from the CCP, The Republic of Chao Fa has adapted The Official Red Guard Uniform and the Standard Assualt Rifle, the Ak-47, and Ak-74u. With an estimated Population of at least 238 Million people, The Nation itself has pulled a draft enlisting up to 5,000 conscript (Untrained) and 1,000 Volunteer personel. (Untrained.) Training has already started to teach these Men to be the finest, and most radical soldiers within the Borders of The Brothers of War.

Infantry Division:

The Yaj Division- 1,500 Men Personel, Armed with Ak-47 and Bayonets.

The Xyooj Division- 2,000 Men Personel, Armed with Ak-47 and Bayonets.

Also scrapping from the Chinese, The Chao Fa Nation has also obtained the latest model of the Chinese MBT, The Type 97 Master Battle Tank. Chao Fa itself had putting pride within their war machine, as division after division of tank rolled out just last year, to crush a riots that had recently killed an officer, and injured many others.

total Number of MBT type 97

The 23rd Tank Division- 200

The 24th Tank Division- 150

The 72th Tank Division- 340

Over the supervision of the Chinese, The Chao Fa military has adopted the Chinese MiG's as their own. For safe guard defense and Offensive tatical bombing.

As though this is the only beginning of the Chao Fa Military, eventually over time it shall grow... (Meaning I'll evnetually update this chart of mineonce in a while, given the time.)

Not bad, although small for a two month old nation, I would suspect - nonetheless, very realistic. I would suggest increasing average personnel numbers per infantry division to seven thousand, including around five thousand frontline personnel and two thousand frontline logistics [with about four thousand to fifty-four thousand logistical personnel behind that, depending on how effective you want your army to be]. I wrote a guide on logistics if you're interested: http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=393153

There's another guide by The Evil Overlord: http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=275828

The first offers you somewhat exact numbers, while the second one is a good general guide on logistics. For full effect I suggest reading both; they're really not that much too read.

As for your tank force, I think for now that's an ample number, although in all reality Spain fields around six hundred main battle tanks and has over ten times the amount of frontline personnel than you do, so I think you could increase the number of armour divisions. As for your airforce, which MiG are you using? Numbers seem five for an October 2005 nation. All in all, as I said before, very realistic - good job. I hope I was at least of some help.

Hmmm thanks for the help I'll look into that...

speaking of which MiG's I was using...
The MiG's I had in mind were the J-811

and My own improvement of the jj-7A, as shown in my earlier pic of the MiG in my first post.

But I might plan to switch them later on with the Chinese latest
FC-1/JF-17

But till then Im sticking with the MiG's

If you're looking for a small, yet effective force, I really suggest dropping real life technology. Although there are no doubts that modern technology could stand up to what has been designed on NationStates, there's also no doubts that common perception doesn't hold that to be true, albeit if it technically is. It is to say, an Abrams could most likely tear through any NS main battle tank if it's engaging the main armour, but through perception it's a second rate tank compared to tanks like the ST-37K [Soviet Bloc] or the Arca. I [my own]. So, by keeping your numbers low I think you could also simply make these low numbers rather mechanized and rather strong by equiping them with top of the line equipment, although I understand if you want to wait until you do that. In the end it's up to you - you could even invest in your own projects for your military, upgrading them one at a time. I remember when I was two months old I was still using tanks with the rolled homogenous armour equivalent of 300mm, or basically a slightly enhanced Tiger II with a slightly lower profile and such. Hehe. By the way, welcome to Nationstates; you're rather old [two months old], but I've never seen you before.

even 2 month old im still a Newbie... quite frankly, I'm planning to increase my military number to that such as the Chinese PLA, the N.Korean DPRK, and the Old IJA(Imperial Japanese Army).

but In the Mean time I'll see what I can come up with...

Oh by the way... I don't quit show up here... but since I posted this.. I might come on once a week to modify my specification of my Military.

Like I said I'm planning to turn my military into a IJA, PLA, and DPRK look alike.
