The Peace Table ((ATTN: Redtide2, Arakaria, Emperor Pudu, Green Sun, Siap))
The Pananabi-Pudite war has raged on for several years, Stowes to the South and North, Red Tide to the East, and Pudite and Arakarian forces in the center. Knowing that the Arakarians would be more willing to leave and that he had little hope pushing out the Tideans, Stowes waged a war against the Pudites, damaging their fleets and defeating their armies by training, recruiting, and supplying Pananabian freedom fighters and sparking mobs to push away occupying forces. With the help of Siap and Green Sun, Stowes was able to weaken Pudu's grip on the nation and now controls all the way to Panrabia and the Red Tidean oil fields. Wishing for no more bloodshed, Stowes has offered to meet at the diplomacy tabel to discuss their pullout. The nations that helped them will also be invited to attend.
He does not expect any of the occupying forces to cooperate with Stowes, so he has requested that a meditator be brought in.
Stowes does not want to sever Pananab's ties with the occupiers completely, but he does not want Pananab to be controlled by foreign governments any longer.

The designated Pudite diplomat for the war, Mr. Grey, will attend these Pananbi-hosted peace talks. Although the Council does not expect any of the other diplomants to agree with anything said, they would like to let them know what they are saying anyway.
However, even as this chance for peace goes forward, the Wartime High Council has ordered the preperation and awakening of the rest of the 3rd Pudite Guardian Corps. They will be held in reserve in their community-complex until the conference come to a close. If no solution is reached by then, they will board their assigned transport fleet, which is now moving along the coast to the community, ready to sail in one day.
Hakunin Jahuziz will be representing the nation of Pananab and General Stowes will represent the New Means Mercenary Group, which is being integrated as the Pananabian military.
Stowes wishes that all diplomats bring a maximum of 5 bodygaurds, 10 for the Pudite and Red Tidean diplomats, as dislike is strongest towards them the most.

"We will send Governor General Tisania Ceritov of the Red Tidean-Pananabian Province to the meeting, he will be escorted by a full squad(10 men) of Current Gaurd Shocktroopers."
End Message
The conferences will be held in the Pananab Petroleum building in Panrabia.
OOC: Somone contact Arakaria

OOC:Ill find and contact him after this post, in the meantime...(I assume the Petroleum Building has a helipad?)
EDIT:We have a problem... according to Nation States, Arakaria doesnt exist! That means his nation has been deleted!
IC:Panrabia, Pananab Petroleum Building...
The TC-2D Helicopter touched down expertly on the helipad, mounted under the two 'wings' of the helicopter were 15.5mm heavy machine guns. There were also door mounted machinegunners also manning 15.5mm guns. The side door slid open and out stepped a Current Gaurd Shocktrooper, at 6 feet, 5 inches tall, these soldiers were the third most effective killing machines the Red Tidean Goverment had(the second most effective being RIP TIDE Special Forces Troopers and the first being Consortium G-Men). Encased in a flexible composite metal bodysuit with built in infrared and night vision goggles, they could snap a mans neck easily. In its right hand, gripped by the trigger handle, was an AR4 Carbine Assault Rifle. This shock trooper had blue markings on his armor, indicating the rank of lieutenant. He began to walk forward as 4 more Current Gaurd Shocktroopers exited the chopper, these had no markings, indicating a rank of Corporal(the lowest you could get in the Current Gaurd). After them, out stepped Governor-General Ceritov, he was a man of medium height, build, etc. He wore a black presedential-looking suit. Behind him came out 5 more Current Gaurd Shocktroopers.
The Governor-General walked into the conference room, escorted by the Shocktroopers who were looking around, searching for possible threats. He took his seat and scanned the faces of the assembled delegates with a neutral expression on his face.

Travis sat there as he watched the squad of Shocktrropers march in with the Red Tidean diplomat. His five bodygaurds, all Forge Force members, were scattered about, but two of them were visible. One of them had a Magnum Green Sun rifle, which was known to pierce through tank armor and teh other was armed with a standard Special Ops Green Sun rifle. Travis was bored and he knew that Green Sun would do little in these talks.
The two visible bodygaurds didn't flinch as their Red Tidean counterparts warched in. The Forge Force members wore powerful Green Sun body armor and were highly trained. They seemed scrawny to those around them, but were quite deadly.
OOC: I guess I'm not occupied by Arakaria anymore, then.
IC:
General Stowes was used to high-tech soldiers, but Hakunin was intimdated. He grew tense and nervous as he shuffled through papers and read them.
There were Pananabian gaurds all over the place, some were highly trained commandos, others were local recruits. Stowian helicopters and jets continuosly flew over the city, ready for anything. It was difficult to go anywhere without a Pananabian soldier gaurding the area.
Most had simple AK-47s and other cheap weapons, while others were armed with high-tech, powerful Green Sun weapons. Stowes had riot police everywhere in the city to calm demonstrators. A Soviet tank rolled through the main street, searching for threats and an old Green Sun Neutron tank roamed around the city. Security was tight for everyone's protection, but not unstoppable.

A small helicopter, an Mi-24 Hind, was flying about sixty miles-per-hour over the Pananabi desert. It's destination was the peace conference called by General Stowes, and it;s only cargo was the Pudite diplomat, Mr. Grey. The helicopter was unarmed, fitting for its peacefull mission.
As the host city appeared over the crest of this last hill, Mr. Grey picked up his briefcase and unbuckled his seatbelt. The pilot touched down about twenty yards outside the city, and without even turning off its engines, the diplomat leapt out. As the helicopter took off again Mr. Grey started towards where he had been told the meeting was the wind from the departing helicopter blew his trenchcoat up about his back, coating his entire body in sand.
He moved with a determined pace, through the teeming crowds of viligers and the various guard patrols, moving along the most direct path. He never saw one of the Pananabi tanks, but he heard them rumble down the main roads and tried to make a note of their number and type (and yeah, there is a reason he can do that). When he appeared in front of the designated building he stopped for a moment to observe the architecture of the structre before continuring inside.
When Mr. Grey entered the conference room he was coated in a layer of dust and sand. This caused a few men to turn their heads, but the Pudite diplomat offered no explination, mearly taking his seat. leaving his briefcase closed and on the floor, he waited for the meeting to begin.

OOC: Okay, the briefcase thing? You're up to something.
Red Tide2
05-12-2005, 03:09
OOC:Green Sun, a rifle that is powerful enough to penetrate tank armor would be too heavy and too big to carry and would have to mounted on a wheeled chassis, as a matter-of-fact, a rifle capable of penetrating the armor of a MBT(or even a LBT) would be known as a Anti-Tank Gun.
IC: The Governor-General talked first, "So... shall we begin?" he asked in pretty good english, with some of a Russian accent. The Current Gaurd Shocktroopers continously scanned the room, switching between regular and InfraRed Vision. They couldnt differentiate between what nation the soldier/bodygaurd belonged to, but they could tell exactly where the target was, whether it was behind something, and even whether it was inside the building.
Stowes eyed the briefcase with a suspicious eye, but Hakunin didn't notice it. He straitened his papers and stood up.
"These peace talks between Pananab and its occupiers are now in session. There will be no outside intereferance. No communication will be get into this room from outside of this building without my knowing. Green Sun has sent a diplomat as a mediator. General Stowes has somethiog he wishes to say first."
Hakunin sat down and Stowes stood up, his eyes still on the briefcase. He looked up into the Tidean and Pudite diplomats' eyes and said,
"I would like to express my respect for both the Pudite and Tidean military. they have fought very long and have not given up, but neither have my men. I've seen thousands die in my forty-one years of military experience and few of my enemies have fought as hard as the enemies sitting before me. And the only reason why I chose to take up arms against you is because the New Means Mercenary Group feels that Pananab is a place that we can finally call home and then two outside forces come and take that away. Under normal circumstances, we would have onlydone this if the Pananbites paid us, but this time was different. But my army is anxious to end this war in a victory and my generals will not hesitate to resort to more extreme methods. And I assure you, should they decide to do so, I will not object."
Stowes sat down.

Mr. Grey noticed the suspicious eye cast onto his case, but he chose to ignore it. He had more important things to worry about. After listening to the argument of the Tidean diplomat he stood, brushing off a little of his dirt before continuing.
"You would ask then, that the Pudite Government remove our troops from this land. You tell me that you would like to make your home here. This would be a problem, as this land is ours. During the period where we had occupied the northern half of this land, the Pudite War Council had voted to annex the entire area into our empire. I will tell you now that so far as my leaders can see, you are occuping our land. We cannot leave unless something is offered in return."
Mr. Grey sat back down, awaiting a response from the General.
OOC:You havent fought me yet...
IC:The Governor-General nodded at the little speech, then said, "Unfortuanantly, what was once the Pananabian land controlled by Red Tide is now PART of Red Tide. The Supreme Commander signed the annexation order into law, so now we cannot simply relinquish the land... youll have to A: Take it back, or B: Make it worth our while."
"You wish for us to make it worthwhile? Fine. New Means Mercenary Group has an expansive means of acquiring new technologies, which is why we have been able to dig into Pananab so quickly. If we have a permanant address, we can acquire even more. In addition to any new technologies we may acquire, we can give you a steady flow of Pananabian soldiers for, let's say, the next twenty years? And if Red Tide had been fighting the Pananabian soldiers, you would know that they, like their ancestors, are quite ruthless fighters. And I'm sure Pananab Petroleum would be glad to give you a steady flow of Pananabian oil."
Stowes turned to the Pudite diplomat.
"The Council's imperialist wishes on this matter are of no concern to me. If they wish to have Pananab as part of their Empire, then they have to have the natives' agreement. And as far as I can see, their answer is no. Although the communist system introduced by the Pudites is not completely rejected, the Pudite rule is."
Hakunin spoke up.
"Mr. Grey, although I do respect the Emperor's wishes to annex Pananab, the people's voice is clear on this matter, as is Stowes'. As of this moment, Pananab is declaring independant statehood. Stowes ahs fought to keep this land under Pananabian control and to allow us to form our own government, but our society has been too primitive to do so until now. If the Emperor does not pull out, the Free Land of Pananab will declare war on the Emperor Pudu and we will send out a request to other nations to aid us in the struggle."

06-12-2005, 00:32
OOC:I reiterate... you have not fought me yet, I prefer that we RP an actual battle rather then assume it happened, because my army has a few... unique things about it.
IC:
The Governor-General Shrugged, "Your soldiers have not proved their mettle against ours yet... besides, we could care less for more men, our military stands at 23 million total men. And besides, what new weapons could you find in the desert? Nothing but old swords and such. And we already get Pananabian oil... from the Tech-Com Corporation."
OOC: The citizens that attempted to escape fought them. And I was kinda generalizing.
IC:
Stowes smiled.
"It is not the desert in which we find things, it is the desert in which we hide things. I have found that it is the rivers hidden that hold the greatest bounty. And numbers are not always all, as many commanders have discovered in their battles against me. But, as I can see, you already have high-quality soldiers as it is. And with the oil deal, that is something that you will have to discuss with Hakunin, I have no say in the Pananabian oil fields."
Hakunin picked up a bag an placed it on the table.
"The old Pananabian Empire was well known for its valuable jewels and gems, but there hav been few finds since its collapse. In my company's drilling, we have found this."
he dumped the contents onto the table. Black rocks spilled onto it.
"We have no idea what it is, but Stowes has conducted some experiments on it. You would be rather surprised to see his findings."
Red Tide2
06-12-2005, 00:47
The Governor-General looked over at these with a slight interest on his face.
"Go on..."
"When we were drilling at teh border of the rainforest, our drill broke. We began to dig to find out what it was. W ethought we found diamonds, but then we realized that the drill was diamond-laced. Surely the drill could not take such damage. Stowes found two things quite amazing about these things. the first is that they are harder than diamonds. The second is the fact that these," Hakunin said, picking one of them up, "Are eggs."
Red Tide2
06-12-2005, 00:53

When Hakunin dumped the contents of his bag onto the table between the Tidean and Pananbi diplomats Mr. Grey leaned foreward with interest. He continued to stare at the eggs through out the conversation between the two foreign negotiators.
"Diamonds may be hard... but they are very brittle and break just as easily as glass when shot with a bullet." Then the Governor-General relized that Stowes said the word 'eggs', "Wait... eggs?"
OOC: Jolt can take these database errors and shove them up their ass.
IC:
"Eggs," Stowes confirmed, "We have been able to confirm that these eggs are the same as the ones of fish that we have found in the Great River."
Hakunin pulled out a paper and handed it to the Governor.
"This is the research papers of an archeological team from two years ago of the old Panrabian ruins. They have determined from the hieroglyphs that the Pananabian Empire was the first to use chemical agents. They got it from these fish."
Stowes placed pictures on the table. It contained pictures of the live eggs and of the fish. They were huge fish, the smaller ones being two and a half feet. But there were pins and openings all over the fish's body. Other pictures were of rats with bleeding faces. Others showed Stowian soldiers looking down at soldiers with Pudite uniforms and similar faces.
"I am no novice to chemical and biological weapons and toxins. Death is instantaneous. We have only used it once and three of my men took ill of it. These fish are a powerful bioweapon and a useful tool in weapons and armor production. The Panabian military can use them against you,"
Stowes said to the Governor, recollecting the dead, hardened eggs, "Or supply them to you."

OOC: You have no idea, Pananab.
Red Tide-The machine gun is a very large weapon, but small and light enough for a man to carry it. It can fire only at a maximum of a three-round burst and you need to fire several rounds to pierce the armor.
IC:
Travis smiled at the sight of the eggs and slipped one into his pocket. Green Sun scientists could look deeper into this. He turned to the Governor-General and said,
"Green Sun would also be willing to help with the compensation for Red Tide's lost profits."

"BAH!" The Governor-General snorted, "We have plenty of biological and chemical agents. Besides, such weapons can be stopped by HAZMAT suits... why, our soldiers have gas masks they wear almost ALL the time. Besides, use any chemical weapons against us and you will regret it. And..." he added, turning to Travis, "Its not compensation we are looking for, because as of yet we have lost nothing, its something USEFUL."

Mr. Grey stood up, turning to face the General, after this last Tidean comment.
"I, however, am quite interested in these eggs and their poision. I am prepared, now and today, to accept two of these eggs in return for the full Pudite withdrawl from your claimed territory. And, because you understand that you would then be giving me a powerfull biological weapon, we are also ready to offer a non-aggression pact, to keep you from worrying about it to much. What do you say to this?"
OOC: Might I remind you that one way or another, all occupiers are going to leave.
IC:
"They do not require air intake to poison and it is extremely permeable. It would not be so profitable if these fish were to find their way into your lakes and streams, Governor. People are avoiding using the water from the river in fear of these fish. They are also carnivorous; they can eat a baby whole and have been known to do just that. In understand your nations' needs for resources and materials, but Pananab has declared its own statehood. No matter what you say, all Pananabian lands are part of its nation now. We no longer wish for you to be here, but we do not wish for you to leave with nothing."
Hakunin turned to the Pudite diplomat.
"That would be most excellent. Pananab will continue its research on this toxin and see how we can harness it into a more deadly bioweapon. In fact, we can do better than the eggs, we can get you the fish themselves."
Red Tide2
06-12-2005, 03:33
The Governor-General shrugged, "So they are like nerve agents, as in they penetrate through the skin? HAZMAT suits will still stop them. And I doubt that having these fish found in our waters will mean anything. After all, can they fit through a kitchen sink?"
Emporer Pudu
06-12-2005, 03:41
"My nation would appreciate the donation of four of these fish, two male and two female, to our government. I would also inquire as to the possibility of aquireing two of the eggs as well. This would be enough to placate my commanders, effectivly ending the occupation and ensuring the pullout of Pudite forces in the region."
Mr. Grey remained standing, looking from Hakunin to the General, watching their reactions.
"Hardly-"
Hakunin raised his hand to Stowes. He did not want them going at each other's throats.
"As you know, Pananab does not want to be occupied any longer, so I'll make you a deal. Pananab will supply you with more than the amount of oil taht you've been producing for free. No labor, no transportation, just the oil you've been getting and in return, Red Tide will leave Pananab. I have no wish for us to fight one foe just to face a more powerful one. This way you will not have to focus your energies so much on Pananab and you still get your oil. Deal?"
Stowes turned to Mr. Grey and said quietly,
"We can get you six of each gender and three eggs."

After reveiwing the document drawn up by Hakunin for a few miniutes, Mr. Grey signed below the Governor General. His handwriting might as well have been type, for how neat it was.
