End Statement
The PeoplesFreedom
03-12-2005, 03:41
The PeoplesFreedom notes your caution, but we do not intend to start another war. In fact, the bodyguards can be rmoved if you So do wish,
Zanziik
03-12-2005, 03:46
The removal of guards is not necessary. Just remember that fact.

We will be honored to host an officer of the military that so bravely and selflessly defended our sovreignity.

[OoC:We don't really need to RP the arrivals and such unless someone sees it fit, we can just get straight to it...]
The PeoplesFreedom
03-12-2005, 03:48
Agreed.
"What should the First Issue be?" Asked President Petsin
Moses Land
03-12-2005, 03:50
"What must be done to prevent this from happening again." Stewert answered.
Red Tide2
03-12-2005, 03:53
Colonel Voyska was leaning back in his chair.

"Maybe a partial disarmament of Moses Lands armed forces?" He asked casually.
The PeoplesFreedom
03-12-2005, 03:54
"With all due respect Colonel, You have wiped out his Navy, without a Navy an Army cannot attack overseas. Isnt this punishmeant enouge?" Asked Petsin

The Chairman sat quietly If anything, help him rebuild it, of course this was Peace talks and as far as Petsin was concrened he only wanted one thing from it.
Moses Land
03-12-2005, 03:55
"We can't afford disarming right now. Riots are occuring in Moses Land."
Zanziik
03-12-2005, 03:56
"Riots can be handled in other ways than through military force, you, a pacifist should know this."
Red Tide2
03-12-2005, 03:58
"Was just a suggestion." Colonel Voyska said, sitting up, he continued, "If you cannot control your population effectively, well... thats not our fault. All WE want is some reperations for the mobilization costs... no we wont bill you for that 'Falling Star' we dropped on you."
The PeoplesFreedom
03-12-2005, 03:58
" As far as The PeoplesFreedom can tell, this is more of a uprising then a simple riot." said Petsin softly
The PeoplesFreedom
03-12-2005, 03:59
" Compensation? You are easily capable of re-paying that cost.
Moses Land
03-12-2005, 04:00
"First I'm not a pacifict. I fought and killed in Kannara and during our civil war.

"Second, we agree to reperations for damages we've caused. But disarming isn't an option."
Zanziik
03-12-2005, 04:00
" Compensation? You are easily capable of re-paying that cost."

"Yet we should not be forced to. This war was not our fault."
The PeoplesFreedom
03-12-2005, 04:01
' If Moses Land wishes to re-pay you they can" said Petsin
" Is there any more issues the Doomsayins wish to bring before we bring ours?"
Zanziik
03-12-2005, 04:03
"We have no other problems, merely a suggestion. Perhaps you should use this event as a practice, and attempt to restrain yourselves in the future before pushing your will upon a sovreign nation."
Banduria
03-12-2005, 04:04
Estarus nodded and addressed the representatives of Moses Land.

"If you wish we can grant you protectorate status of the Imperium. You would be safe, protected by one of the strongest militaries in the world. This riot... or uprising... would be placed under control immediately. And your economy would prosper, much better than the struggling, over-regulated one you have now. You would be allowed to live your own lives, and although you would have to give up the political rights of free expression and voting, it would be a small price to pay."

Estarus sat back in the plush chair contentedly. "It would seem an adequate price to compensate for attacking Doomsia, after all."
The PeoplesFreedom
03-12-2005, 04:05
" Noted, our only Issue is the Elders."
" You have the....right... if you call it that to kill your Elders"
" However, we wish to see them deported." Said the Chairman

"With all due respect, that seems more of a occupation, but it is Moses Land's
choice."

"With all due respect Colonel, You have wiped out his Navy, without a Navy an Army cannot attack overseas. Isnt this punishmeant enouge?" Asked Petsin
"No," said Estarus. "I've served in the military long enough to know that while a navy is valuable, air power is just as important. And satellite based assets. You can transport an army given enough planes or vehicles... and it was far from the whole navy which was destroyed."
Zanziik
03-12-2005, 04:08
"The elders are being deported to the country of New Sans. They have been irrelevent to this conflict for several days now."
Banduria
03-12-2005, 04:09
"With all due respect, that seems more of a occupation, but it is Moses Land's
choice."
"Choice?" Estarus laughed. "First of all, this is not an occupation. As we have said, Moses Land will simply become a protectorate of Banduria."

He watched Moses Land's interim president as he waited for him to respond.
Moses Land
03-12-2005, 04:09
Stewert chuckled a little at Banduria's suggestion. He quickly stoped.

"I'm not laughing at the suggestion. Its just Slewton planned his own imperium of protectorates. It was my idea in fact. But I'm not sure about giving up our independence. We are beaten, but not conquered."
The PeoplesFreedom
03-12-2005, 04:10
" I said it soundend like an occupation, losing their rights. As long as the Elders are cared for, our issues are resolved.

"I'm not laughing at the suggestion. Its just Slewton planned his own imperium of protectorates. It was my idea in fact. But I'm not sure about giving up our independence. We are beaten, but not conquered."

"That could, quiet easily actually, be arranged. I suggest that you keep an open mind to ALL suggestions Stewart."
Banduria
03-12-2005, 04:16
Estarus looked at Moses Land's president emotionlessly.

"Perhaps I made too much of an impression that this was optional, Mr. Stewert," he said quietly.
Moses Land
03-12-2005, 04:18
"We doubt you could take Moses Land even with your army. At least under normal circumstances. But these aren't normal...

"We will be a protectorate, but we must have the right to elect a governer of Moses Land."
The PeoplesFreedom
03-12-2005, 04:19
" What? and you were preaching us on respecting one's soveringty, Let's please not make this harder then it is" said a stone-faced Petsin
what the hell? this was going good. Now they want to 'protect' Moses Land and theirs nothing we can do about it, damn.
"Prehaps an Alternative can be reached?
Banduria
03-12-2005, 04:23
"We doubt you could take Moses Land even with your army. At least under normal circumstances. But these aren't normal...

"We will be a protectorate, but we must have the right to elect a governer of Moses Land."
"You will have that right, don't worry," said Estarus. "However, the governor will answer to the heads of state of Banduria, Doomsia, and Red Tide2, and their flags will be flown alongside the Moses Landian flag in all places."

Estarus looked over the other delegates and smiled. "You're thinking that we rushed to defend sovereignty and are now taking it away. Well, let me tell you... this is only fair. Moses Land sought to take away Doomsia's sovereignty. In return we're removing its own."

The Emperor's son finished, "A portion of the Imperial Guard and the 6th Expeditionary Fleet will remain to defend our new territory. In addition, Moses Land will be required to pay no reparations to Red Tide2, Doomsia, or anyone else." He looked around with danger flashing in his eyes. "Is that clear?"
Zanziik
03-12-2005, 04:23
"Banduria shall have Doomsia's complete support in all of it's ventures from hereon. It has earned that from us. If Banduria feels it necessary to occupy Moses Land, we will do our best to aid them. If Banduria feels it necessary to take no reparations, we shall take none, and this will be a show of our loyalty to them. We feel the same towards Red Tide."
The PeoplesFreedom
03-12-2005, 04:27
" If Moses Land so wishes, let it be done." Said a sad, defeated Petsin
Moses Land
03-12-2005, 04:27
"Under protectorate status we will only answer to Banduria. However, we will sign a free trade agreement with the others."
The PeoplesFreedom
03-12-2005, 04:28
" Prehaps we should discuss how long this status shall last?"
Banduria
03-12-2005, 04:34
"Under protectorate status we will only answer to Banduria. However, we will sign a free trade agreement with the others."
"Very well," Estarus smiled slightly, a somewhat sinister glance passing across his boyish, but no longer innocent, face. "We will compromise with you on that."

" Prehaps we should discuss how long this status shall last?"

"Indefinitely..." Estarus thought for a moment, and then shook his head. "No. It will last eight years, during which Moses Land will have time to see what life is like for protectorates of the Imperium. Then, we will give it the choice whether it would like to return to its former status as an unprotected nation, with little economic or military prowess... or what it shall become under our leadership. If it still wishes to return to its former status, we shall allow it to do so. If not, then it will remain an Imperial protectorate."

He turned to Stewart. "Does this sound reasonable?"
Red Tide2
03-12-2005, 04:58
Colonel Voyska frowned, then shrugged,

"Okay, no reperations."

He paused and began to do some thinking.
Moses Land
03-12-2005, 05:05
Stewert hung his head.

"Here are our proposals for life as a protectorate. If accepted by everyone here we will submit."

Proposal:

1). The governor of Moses Land is democratically elected by Moses Landers. S/he has the powers of governorship only.

2). Moses Land obeys the laws of Banduria.

3). Moses Land may make its own laws as long as they do not violate those of Banduria or are not rejected by Banduria.

4). Moses Land may levy taxes at will on a Protectorate level. It is up to Banduria how much it pays to it.

5). Moses Land may keep a defense force. It will not keep missiles or develop bio weapons or nukes.

6). Moses Land may trade with whom ever it wishes unless Banduria has an embargo against them.

7). Moses Land has its own economy, but in the event of a state of emergency must support the rest of Banduria.

8). In the event of war, Banduria may call upon Moses Landers to fight for it. This may consist of a draft or volunteering.

9). Banduria is responsible for Moses Land's defense.

10). Moses Land is subject to Banduria laws regarding legislative representation.

11). Moses Land may have an Assembly off citizens.

12). Moses Landers are equal to Bandurian citizens.

13). Unrestricted travel to and from Moses Land.

14). The option of independence 8 years after the signing of this document.

"These terms are quite acceptable to me," said Estarus, looking up from the sheet, "and I am sure they will be so to the Emperor as well. This will be in the best interests of both our nations, believe me. As for the taxes... let us say that twenty percent of all taxes levied by Moses Land will be paid to Banduria. The Emperor may choose to change this number later."
Moses Land
03-12-2005, 05:15
Very well. Do the other nations agree to this?
Red Tide2
03-12-2005, 05:21
Voyska shrugged, and then said, "Fine by me."

He reached over for a pen and signed.

(OOC: about the satellite attacks, 542 was the designation number of the clone, Clone 542, not casualty number. I was going to post that earlier but my uncle kicked me off the computer so he could look at houses)

The Chancellor of Kattor who was wearing a helmetless light version of the Clone Armor read over the treaty. He had been quiet, with a scowl on his face. He new the operation he personaly planned would have caused confusion in the nation of Doomsia, he would have to tell the clones to withdraw. "If Mosesland agrees with these terms we will withdraw our forces from your area"

-Outside a Doomsian Power Plant-

Commander Y on radio: Yes sir... understood

Commander Y: Alright, let's head back to camp.

652: What? But we haven't set the explosives.

Commander Y: Mosesland has signed a treay, we're no longer going to cause the planned mass black-out.

Sorrow came over the clones as they prepared to return to camp and wait for pick-up they were looking forward to blowing up the power plants around the country and leaving it in turmoil.
