Rebuilding a Nation (OOC)

OOC: Alright! So I am back in the business of Nationstate-ing(???), but I had come up with an idea that I wanted to run by everyone.

It is obvious that I am not a new nation or anything, and I do have a history and all that, but I was thinking about re-writing my history. Starting off like I am a new nation (with my current population), no ties to anyone, no previous wars, Doctrines or anything. I would rebuilt it with a new type of government and I think it will be a lot of fun.

However, I didn't know how accepted this would by the NS world so I figured I could get some feedback. If you have any (at least tell me if you think it is okay) then post here please!

I think that's a fine idea. I've always thought that if I ever got bored of RPing my nation as it currently is, I could wipe the slate clean and just start over again - in effect, "rebooting" my nation. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, and I think that sometimes, it can be a good thing.

I think it's a perfectly reasonable thing to do if that's what you want.

I don't see a problem with restarting your nation--"rebooting," to use DC's phrase.

In fact, Dracun Imperium, an old nemesis of mine has restarted his nation at least four times...usually right before I invaded him. How convenient ;).

" Rebooting" is all well and good, but how about writing your way out of your existing history? That's what this game is all about, writing. It's all made-up fiction, so make up a reason why you disappeared, where you went, what happened, and what led your nation to come back after a frillion years.
Makes the game a bit more interesting that way.
