General Theod looked down at the latest intel from the Nation of Urcea. He flipped through the pages over and over again to see if the information that was gathered about the nation was acurate or not. He then got up and walked toward the window, peering out over Parliament Square from his office in the Defence Building across the street. He then decided that it was time to have a meeting of the highest military officers. Perhaps he would also need to do a press conference after he talked with the officers and the Emperor about this matter. The last thing i want dammit is to fight another war against a militaristic nation that cares more about killing innocent's than anything else in the world, he thought to himself. Walking back to his desk, he glanced back out the window to see a group of schoolchildren getting off of a bus. School must have been let out. Lets hope there is school tomarrow also.

Sitting back at his desk, he picked up his phone and spoke very sternly to his secretary, who just happened to be in the outter office 50 foot away. "Jane, I want a meeting with all the high ranking generals in the Marine Corps. Tell them that the meeting starts in 1 hours and to be there or be reprimanded." he then hung up the phone and paged through the documents again. If this informaiton about this population is right, he thought to himself, then if he put 2% or his population into the military, he would have a total of 15 Million people in his military... he continued to think as General Thnal entered the room, he was the first General to arrive. Shortly after, Genral Andalr, Genral Glirand and General Pitland all arrived.

The men then sat there and talked about what was to happen in this conflict...

Anything more than 5% of your population with your size population would cripple your economy beyond belief and you would be in a Depression for over 50 years. I suggest redoing your numbers or people will ignore you for number wanking...


Although with my Pop, 5% would be 126,650,000 Million troops.

ooc: heck I use 1% of my pop 13540000 enlisted personnel (2% is what is usually excepted)

but considering your in a crusade you could get high numbers of volunteers (depending on how fanatical your nation is) though the troops would be poorly trained, ill disciplined and would probably cause serious economic trouble at home though you may somehow be able to counter that by conquest (gold, destruction of nations companies creating a gap in the market and outright slavery)

also if your nation is a technocracy you could probably have more (why do I have to always use stuff about technocracy I feel like a propaganda leaflet!)
