"Sir, I have devastating news!" Patrick O'Harn yelled as he burst in to the office of Supreme Admiral O'Riley. "What is it?!" He asked. "A large force of unknown origins appeared in the center of a military base on the island of Lansdowne. They proceed to take the base and much of the island as well." "How many were lost?" O'Riley asked. "We lost around five thousand of our men, but the enemy seems to have lost only a couple if any," came the answer. "How did that happen?" the Admiral demanded an answer. "Sir our guns seemed to have had no effect on the ceatures what so ever," O'Harn replied. "Fire up project sheild, that might stop them from geting the same element of suprise on the rest of the islands.

The order was relayed to the rest of the islands and within five minutes they all were surrounded be an electro magnetic field. "May God have mercy on us," prayed the Admiral.

"Sir," O'Harn said as he walked in,"The entire island of Lansdowne has been taken over by this unknown force. Some of the citizens are taking up arms but others have fled the cities and are now hiding in caves." "Give me hourly updates on the situation," The Admiral said. "Sir, some of the boys down tha hall have mentioned the fact that some jedi may be arriving to fight the enemy. They say we might be against the sith," Patrick said worridly. "I know," said the Admiral, "May God have mercy on our souls."

Jherdakil Commander Terth Varadon was pleased. The campaign was going even better than expected; if the current pattern continued, he might well get a promotion when it was finished. No resistance worth speeaking of remained on the initial target, and the Wolf Pack was hunting down what little was left. The front-line battle robots had destroyed all opposition with ease. Losses had been minimal: one Jher Dakkar killed, three injured, and minor damage to a few of the robots.

Now, he was pausing to consolidate his hold on the island where his forces had landed. A small hospital and repair center had been erected, and Jher Dakkar guided construction 'bots in the fortification of the area. Assembly centers were being assembled, and housing modified for the Empire's use. The remaining islands had activated some kind of energy shield, which would prevent another Gate assault, but this shouldn't be a problem... Now that Jherdak had a foothold, heavy vehicles could be prepared and used. As long as the target didn't acquire outside help, the rest of the conquest should continue without trouble....

Varadon smiled, as his new fortress rose behind him.

OOC: Also, you might try sending out a call for help. That'll make it easier for other nations to get involved.

OOC: sadly, the invasion was sorted out between me and Drexel as my Jedi fighting of the SITH INVADERS. You can come in later as a fighter.

The craft landed down next to the Admiral's office and a door opened, as steam billowed out, a robed figure stepped out of the craft and stood outside. "Cypher, come on now. We need to help the Admiral...

"But of course," Cypher said as he stepped out of the craft. With his lightsabers hidden beneath his cloak, Cypher walked off the ramp and followed Ren towards the Admiral's office. His misty eyes did not move from their foward position (blind), though he scanned the area by using the force to sense what it was like.

"He will see you now," Patrick O'Harn said as he opened the doors to the office of the Supreme Admiral.

"Welcome to my office and my country. I am Admiral O'Riley. Now, which one of you is Master Ren?"

"Very good, we shall speak with him soon." Ren said as he came away from the reception desk "Bloody receptionists, taking all day." he whispered to Cypher sitting next to him. His hand rested on his sabre in case his enemy showed himself early...

Cypher chuckled gently as Ren sat down next to him. "I suppose so," Cypher replied quietly so that the secretaries could not here. "Though I have heard many aren't hired for their intelligence, if you know what I mean," he said, noticing the irony of his statement.

Cypher looked relaxed and calm as he sat deep in the chair with his right leg resting on his left and his arms stretched wide. On the inside, however, his mind was abuzz with activity as he monitored the area for any disturbances.

He stifled a laugh stood up "I am Master Ren, how may I help you?" he said in the most serious way possible and bowing. "This is my good friend, and strong Jedi Cypher.

He stifled a laugh stood up "I am Master Ren, how may I help you?" he said in the most serious way possible and bowing. "This is my good friend, and strong Jedi Cypher.

Cypher bowed but remained silent.

O'Riley explained, "A few hours ago a strange faction attacked the island of Lansdowne. They appeared out of nowhere and our weapons seem to have been use less. Since then we have had two of our surface action groups bombard the island. We have reason to beleive that the enemy is the Sith. Can you help us?"

"I believe we can, do you know where they currently are moving?" Ren asked with curiosity

O'Riley started to look through some of the papers that were on his desk. "Here we go," he said as he picked one up, "Reports indicate that They are bringing in more fire power. We also have notice some strange patterns in the power readings for our EMP sheild on various islands, we believe They are trying to do to the other islands what they did to Lansdowne. As for our navy we have a few mobile EMP sheilds but they seem to be having no problem as of now."

"Very well, me and Cypher shall head out to pick them off. Scout parties and such. Are you able to distract the main force at all. We cannot afford to face the whole firepower they have brought."

"We will continue our bombardment of the island and we will also send in The Riders if you need a distraction. They may be able to do some damage to the main force as well." O'Riley called in O'Harn and told him to have the Riders be ready to set out.

O'Harn walked down to the elevator that was used to reach the major part of the Kramlik. He rode down father than usual because the Riders were on the bottom floor with the only a few other Black Ops groups. "Riders! You're shipping out soon!" he yelled. Matt Crowley, the head of the Riders, came up to him, "How much time we got? We need to prep." "Half an hour Crowley, now Move!" "Sir, Yes Sir!"

"Very well, me and Cypher shall head out to pick them off. Scout parties and such. Are you able to distract the main force at all. We cannot afford to face the whole firepower they have brought."

Very true...

"I am ready," Cypher said as he grabbed his lightsabers off his sides. He was ready for anything and started preparing himself for the battle.

He began remembering and studying all that he had learned and started concentrating on honing in on his force skills.

In an hour the Riders were aboard the DHV Downings, one of the battle ships that was bombarding Lansdowne. Captian James Petermen met them upon landing. "We have no time for a break!" Yelled Crowley over the noise of the chopper. "Very well, there is a small landing craft in the docking center of the ship, thats where we pick up our supplies," The Captain said. Crowley and his three companions headed below deck for the docking center. When they reached they saw a small craft around the size of a fishing boat, the only difference was that thish one had a mounted machine gun. As John Lynch took the drivers seat, Crowley, McDonald, and Giang took out their rail guns just in case the enemy had anphibious units.

OOC: If any nation is willing to help please do so. We are in dire need of aid in order to defeat this new threat. And to the person who started RPing as the enemy you may continue doing so, as long as you make the head of the enemy a Sith.

Within twenety minutes they were on the shore. The started moving forward with Andrew McDonald at the front. Todd Giang took the rear, John Lynch took the right flank, and Matt Crowley took the left. They were only on the move a short while when they saw what looked like a large ball with four legs. Crowley took aim with his trusty rail gun and fired. The rail went right through the strange vehicles armour and took out the main computer as well as the pilot inside.

OOC: That vehicle was the Spider walker from Star Wars Battlefront.

"Master," Cypher said as he bowed, "I think it would be wise to move with all haste."

"Correct, let's move" he sped out of the door and headed towards his speeder bike in the ship..

Cypher followed shortly behind him and was soon on the speeder bike. "All right... I will follow you," he said.

"Good, stay close." he zoomed off, he was following the signal of a small group of troopers. His sensor said they are about three clicks north-east.

"All right," Cypher said as he kicked the throttle into gear and zoomed off behind Ren. He was preparing himself mentally for any battles that may arise in the near future and he had his lightsabers in easy access in case.

Ren continued to look at his sensor, they were so close now...
"Okay, ready yourself." he said through his microphone. "And stop," he stopped his speeder bike and put his foot down. "They are just round those trees, "How do you wish to take them?" he smiled and pulled out his sabre...

"Okay, ready yourself," came Ren's voice over the microphone. Cypher laughed, he had been preparing for a long time for his first real battle in a while - he was plenty ready.

He slowed his speeder bike until it came to a stop next to Ren. Sensing that Ren had pulled out his lightsaber, Cypher smiled and grabbed his two. He then looked up at the trees and winked at Ren.

Within moments, Cypher had propelled himself into the trees and was ready to attack.

Ren crept around the trees, silently and evading the troopers gazes at all times. Before any knew what was happening, half of them were up in the air from a force blast. he sent a mind message to Cypher That's your cue... laughter filled the next bit as the troopers cowered and fired, Ren easily blocking...

From above, Cypher silently jumped off his vantage point. Within seconds he was upon them, slashing and twirling from the inside of their formation.

His duel lightsabers blurred as they cut through the air, finding themselves cutting through troopers left and right.

As the remaining troopers finally registered what was happening, many of them turned to face Cypher and began shooting. Cypher brought his sabers close to his body and began deflecting the blaster shots - ome went wild while others directly back at the troopers.

"Very good." Ren jumped and sliced through many a trooper. Mechanised yells could be heard as troopers fell, sliced in half. When everyone was confused he struck, speeding through and cutting left and right as troopers began to call out "Where are you," and "Help meeeee!"...

The troopers continued to fall as Ren and Cypher cut them down.

At last there were less than ten left, though they were still firing at the two jedi. Cypher dropped to a crouch and shot his hand out; A force wave emmerged and slung the remaining troopers back, crashing into the trees and ground.

As the remaining troopers crumpled to the ground Ren looked at Cypher, "Job well done. I detect more readings coming this way, it's a big force. So if you want to engage, do it stealthily. And watch that plant, it's dangerous." He pointed to a large nettle leaf...

"I will remember that," Cypher said. He too sensed that more troopers were coming - perhaps enticed by the blaster fire.

Pondering their options for a moment, Cypher spoke up, "I would suggest that we either move out of this vicinity or set a trap for them."

"We should hide in the tree I think, but a good trap would be a force one. we cause the trees to shake and fall. Scaring the troopers away, or crushing during that. I saw it happen before."

"A very good idea," Cypher said as he thought. "Okay... you take that side over there and I will take this side," Cypher said as he scampered to the right side of the road and up the bank.

As he reached four trees in a row, he weakened their bases by cutting at them with his lightsaber. Then he backed off until he was hidden into the woods - ready to knock the trees over with a simple force blow.

Ren readied himself in the woods, and his sensor began shaking as the troopers arrived on the scene. Many walked around seeing if anyone was still alive. "What the hell happened here?" one yelled. "Sabre wounds, Ren is back...or is it Juthre?" the other said. Now Cypher he began to gently sway the trees, slowly picking up speed before letting out a huge growl. And it appeared as if half the troopers had soiled themselves...

Too suttle...

Cypher smashed the trees with a powerful force wave. The roots ripped up from the ground as many of the branches broke and fell on the troopers. Then one of the trees fell towards the path with a large crunching noise - though just as it was about to collide with their heads, Cypher held them with all his might - tempting them to see how long he could hold it there.

Crowley heard fire from the left flank. He signaled to the rest of the Riders to head in that direction. He took point with McDonald at the rear and Lynch and Giang at either side. A few minutes later he could here the sounds of trees falling and mechanical screams. He motioned for the rest to speed up. when they arrived they saw a mechanical grave, with two jedi on either side.

As the last of the troopers fell, Cypher sensed the incoming of some beings. When at last they drew closer and appeared near by, Cypher recognized them to be allies, "Be careful... there may be more around here somewhere."

"Hello, we just took out half an army for you. I am Ren Vuric, and this is Cypher. And you are?"

OOC: The Riders are actually on foot, NOT speeder bikes. They are a stealth group and the heat and sound asmitted by speeder bikes would greatly hinder their ability to do their job.

IC: "I am Matthew H. B. Crowley, head of the Riders. My specialty is unarmed combat as well as breaking and entering." He started to point to the others in the group. "This is Andrew McDonald III, our explosives expert and my right hand man. Our Techie is Todd Giang and our driver is John Lynch. Nice job here. I assume you tried not to draw out their vehicles, am I correct?"

"They just didn't send any," Cypher said, "Though if they had... we might have changed our plans or we might not have."

"At the moment we are trying to keep a relativly low profile... taking out scout groups and the such. Unfortunately they send this large group after we took out a foward recon team. I would suggest we move out of this area before more come..."

"Indeed, let's move Cypher. Another scout group is a while away, and they have an AT-ST that needs taking down." he chuckled to himself and strode away from the clearing...

Cypher grinned, "Right behind you." He switched off his lightsabers and followed shortly behind him - remaining prepared for anything including an ambush attack.

Ren hopped back onto his speeder. "Cypher, about 5 minutes away is the scout group, the AT-ST is in front. So prepare your strategy now." he zoomed off...

"I will flank them from the side," Cypher replied as he hopped on to his bike. "See you there..." he said as he sped off in the opposite direction that would lead him around the enemy to the back of their side.

As he went, he prepared himself and had his sabers at the ready.

The Riders watched as the two jedi headed off in search of another small group to take out. "Should we keep with them, Sir?" Todd asked. "No, they are just going to annoy the enemy, the main force is at the droid's main base, and they are trying to avoid the main base." They heard the sound of approaching armour. Crowley started to shout out orders, "McDonald, plant some explosives and take the left flank, Todd ready an EMC pulse to disable the tanks, then take the right. Lynch you're with me, we'll sneak around behind and get a jump on them."

Cypher signaled to Ren, Halt! They are just around the bend... prepare yourself, I am sure this battle won't be as easy. He sensed the enemy to be large in number and very close to them. Igniting his lightsabers he readied himself for the battle.

Fine, kill them all

Ren leapt to the trees, and as he saw a large squad he called on an ancient power, force lightning. Not blue sith, but green. Something only Luke Skywalker had been able to perfect, but Ren could use it now. Many troopers fried, and mores turned their attention to Ren, who was running the tree line...

As their attention turned to Ren, Cypher lept down behind them and smashed them in the back with a massive force wave. The troopers went flying across the area, killing many of them as they slammed into trees. There it is... the AT-ST

As the Riders hid in the trees the enemy vehicles advanced. When the main body of the artilery had reached the explosives Crowley yelled in to his comlink, "McDonald, NOW!" In an instant explosions went off all around the artilery. "Todd fire the EMC!" Giang did as he was ordered and several of the tanks that had been escorting the artilery were instantly disabled. "Open fire!" The Riders quickly jumped from their hiding spots and ripped through the armour of the remaining tanks and artilery. Crowley turned to see that one of the tanks had turned towards Lynch who was firing at an artilery unit. The tank had started to charge up its cannon when Crowley ran and tackled Lynch out of the way. Crowley screamed in pain when he felt the heat of the laser rip through his leg. For him all went balck. The rest of the Riders then ran over to protect him from enemy fire. In a few minutes the battle was over. The tanks were all lying in heaps of crushed metal on the ground and a powerful being was moving through the junk towards the exausted Riders.

OOC: The said being is one of my characters.

Bump

Ren jumped and sliced the troopers flying towards him. Both he and Cypher caught sight of the AT-ST, and he told him I will jump through, and you slice the cockpit.

Ren used the force to push off the ground and fly straight through the AT-ST, the metal tearing as he did.

Cypher heard Ren and prepared to hit the AT-ST hard. As he saw Ren jump towards it, Cypher did the same. He landed on top of the vehicle and with all the power he could muster, he slammed his saber down on the cockpit. The force of his blow caused the cockpit to split in half, killing half the crew as it did.

"Who are you? Friend or foe?" McDonald asked as he saw the figure traveling through the metal grave. "I am most certainly a friend. My name is Sir Vernon. I am the leader of the newly formed Homeland Resistance," came the reply. He continued on, "I believe that we may be able to aid each other. If you help the HR stratagize than I can get your friend the medical aid he needs."

As he heard the yells and screams of the crew, Ren jumped out of the way as the vehicle collapsed on five more troopers, he began to swirl and slice through any in his way...

The battle did not last long as Cypher and Ren made short work of the inexperienced troopers. They soon lay on the ground, dead - with Cypher and Ren deciding what to do next. "So... what is our next move?"

"I say we return to where our allies were and ask if we can aid them." Ren hopped onto his speeder bike and waited for Cypher.

"It's to risky to move him, is there any way you can get your medics here?" asked Giang. "Of coarse. My Medics will stablize him and then we will move him to HQ. Is that alright?" Vernon suggested. "Of coarse. Todd, you and John are to try and keep the wound clean. Vernon take the northeast and i'll watch the northwest. We don't need to worry about the south that much because thats the shore. Once the Medics stablize him, Todd you will stay here for a lttile in case the jedi come back."

Without wasting any time, Cypher lept onto his speeder bike and kicked off. He spun in a circle and then followed slightly behind Ren.

Ren continued his course and flew back to the open plains. When he arrived, he clicked off the bike and slipped off. "Where has everyone gone?" he asked the closest man.

Cypher followed behind and soon he too had dismounted the bike.

OOC: Sorry guys, my sister got back from collage so I have to share the computer.

Todd Watched as the medics stablized his C.O. He watched them leave with the other horsemen. After that he moved to a position where he had a veiw of the surrounding area. A fimilar noise could be heard. "Who goes there?"

ooc: no problem.
IC:

"Just a pair of Jedi Knights on the hunt," Cypher replied calmly.

"Ah, it is good to see you again, how goes the hunt?" Todd asked as he dropped from his hiding place in the trees.

"Not bad," Cypher commented as he felt the man come out of his hiding spot. "We ran into couple of battallions... er... scouting parties. Though we aren't quite sure just how strong the enemy is yet."

"How about you guys? How you doing here?"

"Some artilery came through a not to long ago. Crolwey took a hit, some of the local resistance is providing him with medical attention. He should be all right, but for now, McDonald is in charge. We think the enemy maybe trying to bombard the rest of the islands. Do you have any idea who they are?"

"Me? Not a clue," Cypher responded, "Though Ren might..."

"These are the Imperial Remnant, come to reclaim their empire. One of my old students is among them."

"How do you suppose we should attack this enemy and end this war?" Cypher asked.

ooc: this is going quite slow and isn't really organized. Additionally, we aren't really dedicated to it... so... do you guys want to keep it going or abandon it?
