Yes, you will find wierd titles for my upcomming wars.

IC:

Magriel awaited for his master's orders from his newly captured ship yard. They have managed to crank out at least 3 Imperator Mk I TSD's since it's capture pluss the aditional fleet support he had before. He was on the edge of the Empire's space. With CoreWorld and Godular's help, he was sure he could win this fight.

Now was the time to strike. The Galactic Empire's funeral is closing down, Nightshade placed as it's new head, and the Republic's enemies aren't watching.

Magriel turns to the nearest comm officer, "signal for the fleets to attack the Yeshiri System. Now is the time."

And thus, the candel light of the Galactic Republic has risen again but faintly. Magriel knew that it will grow brighter with the comming war.....

"Commodore, incoming transmission, Huntarian Alliance code, coordinates also recieved, Yeshiri is the target, immediate priority."

"Ok, Andrea, you heard the man, Yeshiri is the target, plot us a course and lets get going. Looks like War gets another taste of battle... Make sure the podlayers stay close this time, we don't want APOLLO blown out of space before we ever get to use it..."

Battle Group 3, "War", departed their staging point, they would arrive in Yeshiri in just a few hours...

"Sir! We just got confirmation from Mini Mienim battle group war. They're within the system."

"Tell them to attack the 4th planet. That's their central government and one of the Huntarian Empire's minor mineral and ore producers for thier weapons and starships."

Magriel then glared at the viewscreen, watching the planets go by as they activated impulse drive.

"Is the axiel cannon ready?"

"It's charged to 60% efficiency sir. Another few more minutes and we will beable to use it full blast."

"Good. Attention. Launch all available fighters. They're the first in the attack wave. We will arive next while the Yeshirian government is distracted."

So Magriel sat back, and waited.

A large VSSD crept in out of hyperspace, next to it a large Providence-class Carrier Destroyer. Surrounding them was a fleet of A-9 Vigilance Fighters. They were prepared. Prepared for war. They were heading out in search of anything suspiscious. They were in the heart of the galaxy. They were heading to speak with the Government of the Galactic Empire. To discuss the war.

"Sir, we're recieving instructions, the 4th planet is our target... It's the seat of power for the system... I think we just got turned intop cannon fodder sir."

"Not likely boy... We've got more firepower in this one ship than in any two SDs, and the Dns can take an SD mano y mano and win, while the Leviathans can do it 2-1, we've got more firepower in this fleet than most anything they could possibly have, and we have APOLLO... We can take whatever they can throw at us, and dish it back ten-fold in misssiles alone, so lets move out, call on them to surrender and when they refuse we'll bombard them back poast the stone age."

Task Fleet War's Podlayers started rolling patterns, the first 60 Podlayers would roll enough pods to fire 32,000 missiles, and when the other 60 were called out of Hyper to rearm once they'd shot them all off, they'd roll another 32,000 missiles, enough to swamp any missile defense they encountered.

As the fleet moved towards the planet at a steady acceleration of just under 600 Gravities, nearly 6KPS Squared, the lighter units could hve gotten there sooner, but there was no way for them to take the planet without the heavies backup.

The eyes of the Cassiopeian Republic were not Bind to the Civil War starting the The Huntaer Galaxy. Cas'rai Gon'dor'ri, on the Death Star had planned to send Military Forces to The Huntaer Galaxy to help The Sith and Defeat the Jedi in that Galaxy.

OOC: Mini, note you won't be going against SD's here ('cept maybe CW, if he uses them). They're TSD's, more firepower, shielding, armor, ect....

Fleet:

1 eclipse SSD (+500 fighter capacity)
25 Everquest Star Cruisers (600 Vampire fighters total)
50 Retrebution Class Cruisers
100 Goliath class Star Destroyers (3000 Vampire Fighters, 3000 Reliant class Starfighters
2000 Tie series fighters)
50 Malkir Class Star Destroyers (class renamed from Kirtir SD's) (2500 Vampire fighters)

IC:
The Huntarian Alliance fleet dropped out of hyperspace, and Magriel activated the Gravity Well Projectors the old Eclipse Star Destroyer, preventing most of the enemy fleet from leaving. The first wave of 500 Tie Phantom Mk 2s, 1000 Vampire and Reliant Starfighters were launched at the Huntarian Empire.

Wing Captain Verlen flew his Vampire starfighter in front of his fleet. He looked ahead and he could see the 4th planet "All wing captains report in."

"Green Leader here."

"Blue Leader standing by."

"Yellow Leader reporting in."

Verlen looked at his computers. Vital signs were good for each of the fighters in the first wave of attacks.

"All right. I want all Vampire Fighters and Phantom Ties to initiate their cloak. It ain't perfect, but it's the best chance of servival we have. Form groups of 4 with each of the Reliant fighters to give them fire cover as we go in to attack the city and their fighters. Any who isn't grouped with a Reliant Fighter get in one and form groups of 5 if you have to. The 2nd wave will arive in approximatly 40 minutes."

He then turned to his radar and noticed that the Mini Meihem fleet was in the sector.

"Mini Meihem fleet, come in. We're starting our attack run. Send out your fighters in persuit. Coppy?" He wasn't going to let all of his fighters have the fun.

OOC: Umm, I'm not too worried, 2 Yamato shots can generally cripple an older SD, or a newer small one, and the MMII has 60 Yamato Cannon, so, what's that gonna do against one or two ships???:D (We really need a more evil smile on here...)

IC:

"Send a reply, tell them we understand, then send out everything but the Robot Interceptors, everything, Wraiths, Valkyries, Corsairs, Scouts, and Genesis Interceptors. If 40,00 tiny fighters can't cover us, we're in the wrong system..."

4,500 Fighters of various makes and models streaked after the Huntarian Squadrons, they had been told to follow them in, and so they would... Sure, only the Valkyries and Genesis Interceptors had any real ability to damage fixed structures, but the energy weapons, and ligher missiles of the others cvould keep any real response off of their backs for a while...

The empire's fighters dodged most of the stuff, after having hundreds of years of training (OOC: remmber, they have "everlasting life" so they have long periods of military training). They begain their classic formations of groups of 4 or five fighters per squad. However, several Tie PB's (planetary bombers) squadrons were launced from the surface. Just 1 squad of them is enough to take out an ISD. They begain to pour missiles at the Alliance and Miehm squadrons.... There were no shouts of glory from the Huntarian Empire fighters, they are cold ruthless and brutal killers.

OOC: They may be old, but they're screwing with Protoss Psions now... I think it's time for my Arbiters and interceptors to come into play, as well as what has apparently become known among my IC friends, as Ping Pong missiles...

IC:

They may have dodged most of the fire, but they were facing beings who were considered youths at 300, compared to the age and experience of the Protoss Pilots, they were evenly matched, the Terrans had little hope of equaling them one on one, but the Protoss more than made up the difference. Scouts, Corsairs, and Interceptors were all Protoss fighters, and they made up 3,000 of the assembled fighters, and they also made up the heavier firepower of the fighters as well, rapid firing Neutron Flares lashed the enemy fighters, and energy weapons from the Interceptors pounded space, while the Plasma Gatlings and missiles of the Scouts filled the area with concentrated fire. They were Protoss, and they would not lose.

All across the Miehmish Fleet, ships rolled onto their sides, presenting their Gravitic Wedges to block the enemies strikes, some invariably reached their targets before wedges were interposed, but damage to the massive ships was minimal, due to the sidewalls attenuating the strikes before they could do truly critical damage. The Carriers fared more poorly, they didn't have wedges to interpose, and they took the full brunt of the strikes aimed against them on their shields, damage was generally much greater on the Carriers, though one somehow managed to get by without a scratch or even damaged shields...

With the fleet were 40,000 Robot Interceptors, effectively a Drive, two plasma guns, an AI, and shields equivalent to those of a Scout, and now they were all going to be engaging the enemy... From behind. Dozens of Warp Gates opened, and through them poured the Robot Interceptors, the end points of the gates were almost directly behind the Huntarian Fighters, and with 40,000 new fighters coming in on them quickly, they would need to react, splitting their attention between threats, leaving them weaker in each direction.

OOC: I also noticed a typo in my post where my fighters were dispatched, it should be 14,500, not 4,500. There are 10,000 Terran Wraiths in every Fleet, as my solution to fighter spam.

OOC: Sorry about the short post, I have to go. Will write a longer and better one later.

Aboard the dawning creak of space, the endless black void of darkness that swung about it’s darkened froth, only the dim lights of the far-off stars giving illumination, a massive red tinted ship emerged onto the edges of explored space. Floating, like a dead weight in a puddle of freezing blood, a great metal in the darkness that was space, the ship resumed it’s course. Observations and scouts within Huntaer’s borders had caused certain interests within the power system of the Catastrophe, the massive lumbering beast only slightly seen by organic eyes, as it emerged from Hyperspace, wishing for prey.

Aboard it’s stone halls and it’s steel floors, stood at the bridge a large, menacing figure, a torn, shattered mask at his face, long ripped robes at his side, and he only gazed out at the darkness of space with the teeming energies of the stars calling to him. For he was Totalius, and time had taken it’s toll upon his body, his soul, or what was left of it. His soldiers were ever-ready, ever watching against his enemies, his legions prepared to die for him, for once he dies, they would die, and he was not intent on dying.

Still, standing aboard his capital ship, still lumbering about in space, he heard the distinct call of fresh blood for his men and himself, from the leagues of old allies, an old treaty best left unbroken. The Huntaerian Empire was under attack by nasty rebels, godless demons of social ideals and impertinent naïve thoughts. He would aid his friends, and crush them, and he would drain their blood and feast upon their flesh at the same time. It would feed him, but only for another few more years until he finds more victims.

IC: It was a chaotic battle. With highly trained pilots from all three fleets, this wasn't going to end well. Though back up was comming from the Empire (through means of disturbance's in the force), it will take a long time for them to get here and by then Yeshiri will be under rebel controle. Huntarians fought Huntarians, and Miehmish(assuming your national plural is still that) fought against the empire. It was rather confusing.... but it still went on.

ooc: I'm thinking of having the G.F.F.A. help keep controle of the area after the battle is done, depending on the victory. This is intended to be a long battle. Rebel's are underpowered, but well trained but my fighter's now have more tech. Miehem, same thing maybe.

OOC: You know, you're the only person to ever catch on that when referring to somewone from Mini Miehm, they are Miehmish...

IC:

Dozens of fighters fell in the opening volleys, and things disintegrated from there, the Miehmish fighters were more powerful than any TIE ever made, or even the various hyper capable snub fighters, when it came to space combat Genesis Interceptors were the most powerful platforms out there, with 8 energy weapons, and 6 missile batteries, it was more like a very light gunship as opposed to the very heavy interceptor it truly was.

The Valkyrie missile boats were finally forced to open fire at the enemy swarm, using an early version of APOLLO technology, codenamed HALO, each boat packed 120 missiles, and they released them in a single wave at the enemy fighters, there were 500 Valkyries, and that meant that 60,000 missiles were speeding through space at the massed enemy fighters, the fleet could only throw 4,00 more missiles if they burned all of their pods, but the effect was much more vicious against fighters. Now the Valkyries broke off, returning to their motherships to rearm.

The Robot Interceptors scythed into the rear of the enemy formation, unleashing their bolts of devastation againt anything that moved, and didn't have an allied IFF...

Now Dropships burned their way in system, they intended to take out the objective using ACS, since that air assault seemed to have failed.

OOC: By the way, don't expect light weapons to work on these guys, squad level weapons will be the minimum for killing or injuring these guys, and most artillery that isn't an energy weapon just bounces off.

A decsent size task force had been put together to handle the uprising within the nation of Huntaer. The fleet that was assembled was meant to slug it out with anything that might be thrown at it since it was lead by one Eclipse SSD, one SSD, twenty Victory Class Destroyers, thirty Omega-X Destroyers, and fifty Whitestars along with each ships contigent of fighter support.

Admiral Abriel Nei Douel Drakan of the Wescol family sat at the helm of the Eclipse while the rest of the fleet traveled through Hyperspace. "Communications, get a message out to the Huntarian Alliance. We need to be put where it is mostly beneficial to them. Make sure it's a secure channel. We don't need any eaves droppers." The Abriel's gravlly voice reached out with authority and he was by far the most imposing in the Abriel family at the moment standing taller and thicker than most with a patch over his left eye.

"Yes your Highness."

Huntarian Alliance this is Admiral Abriel of the Abh Empire. I have a brought a small fleet with me to aid you in your uprising. I ask that you send coordinates to any destination that would be mostly beneficial to you and your cause.

And I saw when the Lamb opened on of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the Four Beasts saying, ''Come and see''. And I saw, and behold, a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

Station #27, Outer Worlds on the edge of Imperial space:
A small cylinder, solar cells and communication dishes mounted on top and the sides, floated through space bound for nowhere particuar; just the regular patrol of the borders of The Galactic Empire of Relative Liberty. The station itself was one of the oldest still in use, but had been updated with more advanced equipment by the Dictator in order to meet the new standards. Relative Liberty was going to change under the rule of the all-mighty God-Dictator, that's for sure.
Private One-Eye watched the green monitor, like he had done for the last 48 hours. As per the Dictator's wishes all stations had been on highest alert for the last two days now. It was all politics really, keeping an eye out for trouble so that one may intervene and gain some acceptance amongst the cream of galactic superpowers. It was all politics, nothing was really going to happen. But then again, there just might...
''Hey, sarge, come over an' have a look at this here.''
''What is it, private?'' inquired Technical Sergeant Blod-Fang as he strode across the bridge towards One-Eye's desk.
'''Tis somethin' big, that's fer sure. I've got major energy discharges an' hyperspace communication an' travel. Some guy's really gettin' whacked over there.''
The other operators began yelling information across the bridge, how they had counted no less than a thousand energy discharges, ie capital ships' fire and explosions, in less than five seconds, that the fleets numbered around 400 ships all in all with an unspecified number of fighters.
''Alright, boys, looks like we've got ourselves some work to do. Alert High Command and keep monitoring the sitch 'til we get other orders. I don't have to tell you to use highly encrypted frequencies, do I?''

The hexagonal room with the white walls was one of the conference rooms in the western wing of the station Relativity. The station had been built over a period of hundreds of years, and large parts of it had been rendered obsolete by new technological breakthroughs, and the cheapskate minds of Libertarian dictators over the years had made sure that whole sections were now in ruin. In fact; it was only the newer parts of the station that could be used to house any ships without endangering the crew. That, however, was not the concern of the twenty-five men that sat in the room. There were the six Star Lords of the Space Fleet, the ten Field Marshalls of the Army, four Colonels of Marine Corps and five Colonels of the Diplomatic Corps representing various departments. At least, their 3D images were there, as they all were busy keeping the newest rebellion under control. Colonel Two-Fang of the Diplomatic Corps' Special Operations Department On Foreigners rose, and spoke:
''I would thank you all for coming on such a short notice, gentlemen, but I must get straight to the point. Less than one and a half hour ago, we received an alarming communique from... er, station #27 on the outskirts of our territory. It seems they have witnessed an unusual amount of exposions and FTL travel. It would not be unwise to assume that there's a fierce battle raging over there.''
''I assume you have notified the Dictator, Colonel...'' said one of the Field Marshalls.
''Indeed I have, Field Marshall. He has ordered us to intervene on the side of the defender, in this case the... er, Kirtir. They are the Huntaerian branch of a religious order named Sith. Do not underestimate them, gentlemen, despite their heresy they are formidalbe warriors gifted with many supernatural powers. Rumours state that they can even read the thoughts and minds of their enemies. I advise you to tell your subordinates as little as possible about the true reason we intervene in this civil war of theirs.''
''Do you, or the venerable Dictator, have any suggestions regarding how we should proceed?'' asked a Star Lord.
''Yes I have. It would be wise to send two Fleets, considering the number of ships already involved, and a divison of ground troops.''
''It will take time to mobilize two entire Fleets, let alone a million soldiers!''
''Not at all, we have a standing force of one per cent of our population. That makes about... nineteen million soldiers right now, of which about 3,9 million are combat personell. Even though most of them are in the Space Fleet, we should have no problem gathering half a million combat experienced soldiers and fill in the gaps with fresh recruits. The Fleet can be summoned from patrol duties and such, and should be ready well before the Army is. I thus, on behalf of the Dictator, give you th order to execute SEA1, a partial mobilization of our armed forces. Gentlemen, you have three days.''

IC: A Cardiff class (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=10117716&postcount=145) surveillance vessel, the I.S.S. Wraith, Hyperphased in behind the Abh fleet. Immediately she went stealth. If anyone had registered her arrival, they would most likely think it was a sensor ghost or a sensor echo with her quick stealthing. The Wraith slowly moved to a position where her two massive sensor pods could get a clear reading of the area. The Imperial Star Navy of SeaQuest wanted to know what the area was like before they sent in a fleet and risked the lives of Naval personnel. The Wraith was sent in to get the info Naval Command wanted.

And when He had opened the second seal, I heard the Second Beast say, ''come''. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Shelling. Constant shelling. The men of the 105th Infantry Regiment were pushing on through the mud and quagmire of Renek V. Orbital bombardement had laid waste to the planet's beautiful forests, and now the heavy land-based pieces of both sides finished to job of making Big R a planet hostile to all life. The ground wa perforated with craters where the smaller rounds had detonated, those small 305s that go ''whizz'' and turn a whole squad into bloody goo, and whole societies had disappeared where larger shells had landed and made city-sized holes in the planet's crust. Casualties were horrendous, whole regiments had been wiped out by artillery fire before they even made contact with the enemy infantry. The bores and grooves of their own pieces had long since been destroyed by overuse. There was no longer any meaning in triangulating the enemy's position or calculating trajectories, the shells still wouldn't hit what you aimed at. A guy down in the 9th Platoon had heard that the artillery crews no longer bother to listen to the FDCs, they just shell a specific area for a day, then raises the elevation by five degrees, and start shelling the new area. Even then the strain on the barrels has been so great, that they can't even guarantee that they will hit anywhere near the intended target. Their shells fall on the, just as much as on the enemy, the only comfort the 105th got was that the enemy's pieces aren't in any better condition.

Corporal Blue-Tooth, 9th Squad, 4th Platoon, and his men were on a recce mission near a small hamlet called Anchorage. A town of little importance in peace-time, though it had now gained much strategic importance since it was one the few places that held intact food storages. Slowly crawling through the mud, carefully checking out each and every small hill for hidden machine gun nests. The bombardement continued, and the men listened closely for the distinct whiz of the smaller shells. They're the dangerous, if a squad is hit by one of those there's a distinct possibility some will ''only'' be grieviously wounded. while there's no chance of survivial if hit by a larger one. Gunfire was heard far away, muzzled by the distance. Someone cried ''Gas!'' and the soldiers rolled over on their backs and put on their masks. A lone machine gunner opened fire from a partially barricaded window in one of the small houses in the village, and a scream was heard. Before the medic could get to the wounded man however, the gas bombardement began. The shells exploded out of sight, north of the hamlet, but the wind let the thick yellow gas drift further south towards the 9th. It was impossible to see even five inches in front of you, let alone advance. The men sat tight, pressing into the mud and dirt, shoving it away with their hand and arms to get just one precious inch deeper. After half an hour the gas cleared, though. The one who got hit was a mere rifleman, which meant that their mission could go on as usual. He wasn't dead, but he was shot in the arm and thus couldn't get his gasmask on in time. Now he just laid there, his skin a lighter shade of pale, coughing up bloody peices of his lungs.
The squad advanced nontheless, towards that all-important hamlet. Blue-Tooth readied his Mk. I SR and searched through the scope for that machine gunner. He was taking a smoke, not surprising as the rebels were always short on manpower and could not afford to give all of their troops proper training. Bule-Tooth took careful aim for the light, inhaled one final time, and squeezed the trigger. He hit. Shouts of anger and surprise were heard, and the sound of engines warming up. Soon shells began falling, detonating all around, spewing their deadly cargo of shrapnell and explosives. Dirt and mud cascaded upwards, and landed heavily upon the nine remaining soldiers of the 9th. The men pressed firmly against the ground, praying to the Dictator that the bombardement would stop. Blue-Tooth gave the order to pull back, and the soldiers began the slow crawl towards HQ, five miles behind them.

''Corporal, the lieutenant wants to see you ASAP,'' he said. The squad had just reached basecamp, and were about to leave for the barracks.
''With all due respect, sir, I have to write my report before I file it.''
''You're being relocated, Blue-Tooth. I don't know what you did, but you must've impressed the ol' man to get outta this hellhole. Nobody's ever leaved this place alive, not after a full tour.''

Throughout the Empire, thousands of experienced troppers were relocated to the Core Systems to join the newly formed 1st Expiditionary Force. Green recruits from the reserves would take their places at the front, either to die or to become veterans. Over half a million men were relocated and reassigned in this fashion, and their skill, experience and expertise would steady the ranks of the other half of the 1st Expeditonary, which would be made up of newly drafted soldiers with no experience other than live fire exercises in Basic Training.

And I heard a voice in the midst of the Four Beasts say ''a measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny: and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.''

The main hangar of the battleship Vengeance was crowded with recruits from the Outer Worlds; Femrel, Vorpoint, Falcon Prime, Gruevald and many other systems on the edges of civilised space. Of course, ''civilised'' were only the worlds under the direct control of the Most Venerable God-Dictator, though they were de facto controlled by the High Command. This had been the standard ever since the last days of the Purge, which followed the Revolution during which the God-Dictator freed the people of former USSRL from the heathen Council. Ever since the Purge the Dictator had remained mostly silent in his Palace on Liberty One, only coming forth to override some strategical decisions of the High Command during the fourth Falcon Uprising. Nowadays only the Diplomatic Corps' prime branches, the Special Operations Departement On Foreigners and the Special Operations Departement On Internal Affairs, had any direct contact with the God-Dictator and their operations were without exceptions carried out in utmost secrecy.
Squad after Squad, Platoon after Platoon, the soldiers stood anxiously awaiting the arrival of the veterans. Up until now the recruits had only been through the rudimentary courses of basic training and then kept in the 3rd Division (Reserve) until the time they were needed to replace casualties in the front or, as now, to form a new division entirely. Therefore many of the recruits were holding a rifle for the first time of their lives, the medics had just finished a crash course and the Squads lacked commadning officers. Their lack of training and officers would be helped by the arrival of the veterans from Renek V, and innumerable other theatres, who would guide the rookies through the live fire exercises of the final stages of basic training, and later make up the officer corps of the 1st Expeditionary.

''SF Vengenace, this is shuttle #3402 on transport mission from Renek V. Requesting permission to dock, over,'' the co-pilot said. The small shuttle slowly approached the gargantuan battleship. The pilot was awe-strucken; it was every pilot's dream to one day fly a battleship, to control the physical manifestation of the Dictator's divine might and execute His most holy will. The soldiers, the members of the 105th IR, sat, despite the Army's long rivalry with the Space Fleet, in silent admiration of the grey behemoth.
''Shuttle #3402, this is the battleship SF Vengenace. Permission granted, we are lowering shields. Proceed to dock #7,'' was the answer as the bridge personell struggled to direct the stream of shuttles requesting docking permission. The battlehsip's hangars had only space for so many shuttles, and some of them would have to dock with the battlecruiser Interdictor which was en route.
''Roger that, proceeding to dock #7.''
As it neared dock #7 tractor beams caught the small vessel and guided it safely into the small compartement.

The men of the 9th squad, 4th Platton of the 105th IR, were making their way through the narrow corridor between dock #7 and the main hangar. They had passed the airlock and were nearing the closed door.
''Men,'' said Blue-Tooth, ''we have been given the privilege of representing the Most Venerable God-Dictator abroad. We are going to be a part of the newly raised 1st Expeditionary Force, bound for the nation of Huntaer. There we are going to aid them in putting down a heathen rebellion headed by an order of religious fanatics called Jedi, a blasphemous order dedicated to the utter destruction of all things holy and the death of our beloved Dictator. Half of the Force will be made up of people like us; those who have seen combat and know how to survive, the other half will be recruits who haven't even finished basic training. Our first assignment is therefore to take command of the Squads and guide them through the live fire exercises.''
The soliders listened carefully as they were assigned to the different Squads waiting on the other side of that door. When all names had been read the 9th proceeded through the door, which opened automatically as they approached it. As they entered they were blinded by the light, so unlike the dark corridors, and stood a while blinking as their eyes struggled to adapt. At last they beheld the vast number of troops organized in squares according to their Squads, Platoons and Regiments. Fire-Eye approached the 14th Squad, 921st Platoon and, as he passed Blue-Tooth, murmured:
''Who are all these new people?''
''The new recruits, mate. Remember, we are the veterans now.''
''They'll be taking them right out of the cradle next,'' grunted Fire-Eye as he made his way towards his designated squad. The rookies had never seen combat before, or even had a live fire exercise, and their shining uniforms was at stark contrast with Blue-Tooth's muddy and torn rags. A young lion stepped forward and saluted Blue-Tooth. His grey uniform was brand new and had been recently ironed. A single silver stripe decorated his right sleeve, and a silver star on the front of his cap.
''Private First Class Red-Neck reporting, sir! 13th Squad, 921st Platoon, 403rd Regiment, 97th Battalion, 1st Brigade at your service!
''At ease. I am Corporal Blue-Tooth, your new commadning officer and the one who will be taking you through basic training. In the field you will report directly to me, and no other than me. Is that understood?''
''Sir, yes, sir!'' came the reply in unison.
''If anyone of you disobeys a direct order, no matter the nature of that order, I'm personally gonna take an interest in seing him suffer. I shit you not.''
''Sir, yes, sir!''

OOC: You know, you're the only person to ever catch on that when referring to somewone from Mini Miehm, they are Miehmish...

OOC: It was the Handy List of Nat. Plural thread thing.

:

The Huntarian Empire's fighters continued to fight against the Miehmish, though their weapon's could easily destroy the fighters, they were out numbered. The planet's govorner then decided it was time to send out the rest of the Tie's which were just on patrol incase ships entered the planet's atmosphere. He knew it could just as well be a useless attempt, but he must defend his planet from the invaiders, no matter the cost.

Huntarian Alliance this is Admiral Abriel of the Abh Empire. I have a brought a small fleet with me to aid you in your uprising. I ask that you send coordinates to any destination that would be mostly beneficial to you and your cause.

Magriel recieved the message and nodded. He knew his buisness at the Yeshiri system was almost done. He would've captured the planet as a destraction for the Empire, and would make his move against another near by construction yard. His conquest of the Huntarian outer rim terretories was about to begin successfuly. He decided it would be best if he sent the Abh fleet to the yard's.

This is Councilor Magriel, commander of the Huntarian Alliance. We're almost done here, send your ships to the Lorita System and hold the Empire's forces at the Yo'isk, Boss'kitha, and Ricktika planets. They're colonies with only a half built construction yard, but they'll be essential to our war efforts as we progress towards the core systems.

Magriel Out.

He can now only hope that the fleets donated by Neo Zeta and New Dornalia will show their worth under this next move. Perhapse even the Masaki family will arive in time.

IC: A Cardiff class surveillance vessel, the I.S.S.

The ship didn't escape Magriel's notice from the force, but he ignored them all the same. He knew he's going to need all the help he can get.

IC:

The Wraiths were hardest hit, unable to match the experience of the enemies, they decided to use their usual tactic, they each carried ten missiles, and so a wing would select an enemy, target them with a missile from each fighter, and then fire. Five shots would be a bit much for any pilot to avoid when combined with all of the various lasers, and other energy weapons flying through space at once...

The Terran and Protoss Gunships were now added to the mix as the enemy played the rest of their fighters. There were only 800 of them in the entire fleet, but they were heavily armed, capable of tangling with ships larger than they were, and winning, now the Gravc-Cannon of the Grizzlies, and the Legions began to spin up to their max RPM, over 3,000 rounds every minute, fast enough that the bullets seemed to emerge from the barrels as a stream of lightning, instead of as indiviual shells, they had some difficulty engaging the enemy due to their very rate of fire, since it was likely that any miss would continue on to hit an allied fighter, as often as not. They also had missile launchers, and they put those to good use, unleashing salvoes as they obtained locks on the enemy. They would take losses, but they would not lose this battle, and they would not use the massive Capitol Ships if they could avoid it.

The Empire's pilot's experience had no use against the multiple numbers of missiles going at them. They soon began to drop quickly as it is they were lower in numbers.

However, Magriel knew that as soon as they began to land troops on land to take over the planet, the Empire would send in re-enforcements from energy fire readings in this sector. It was only a matter of time before the fury came and the Alliance would then begin their second phase.

OOC:

Note that I'm kinda pretty much letting you win here. The colony governors know next to nothing about military strategy. They just have good tech. to defend their planets and don't know how to use them. When you face the empire full brute force later on when we reach the Core Systems, don't expect this to be easy. You'll be dealing with the Kirtir Lords as the commanders of Armada's and Armies. I suggest to panic then.

OOC: I faced down Siths Immobilizer Fleets, what a few TSDs compared to that? I'm sure it'll be harder, but an MMII can kill dozens of ISDs in minutes, if they are conveniently positioned, and all the shots hit home.

IC:

More and more Wraiths were dying, but their numbers would be the telling point in the battle. They may have been the weakest of all the units deployed there, but they were numerous enough to kill anything given time...

The Gunships were unleashing their fury on the enemy, and there was no way the enemy could effectively retaliate against their concentrated firepower.

The Dropship pilots saw their opportunity, it was only an Company of ACS Troopers, but they were capable of smashing enemies much more numerically superior, and, with the enemy vacating the orbitals to join the dogfight, the time to act had arrived. They stooped on the planet, and once they actually reached the atmosphere, they launched the ACS Drop Packs, sending 200 Marauders, Reapers, and Scouts hurtling to the surface, directly on top of the capitol...

OOC: There is one thing which I never mention in my statistics (and I only did that once, but lost it..... damn it....) and that is huntarian weapon firepower, for SW, has increased by two decimal places (I.E.: changing 1000, to 100000). That's 100X more powerful than the origonal SW weapon. A ISD Mk II shielding is 5,760 SBD and it's hull is 2,272 RU. A ITSD Mk II has 7,523 SBD (shields) and 2,800 RU (hull, not much difference here). The # of weaponery on the ITSD mk II and ISD mk II is about the same (except for 20 Advanced Laser Batteries on the ITSD).

Their loses made up for more than their worth. The Empire's fighters were dead in the water, and had no more backup's.... Or so they thought. The empire detected major energy weapon's fire in this sector and sent a small task force of 10 ITSD Mk II's with one Petulant TSD (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9093577&postcount=1) in the lead. They then began to unleash their fighters and their weapons at the Alliance and Miehmish, holding the line untill more backup shows.

Though not as battlehardened as the main army, the troopers on the planet are still just as efficient. Their responce was rappid, though the enemy came so suddenly. The SM's took the streets while the clone's ran out of the cities to meet the enemy head on. They began to roll out the Vengence Tanks (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9288246&postcount=12), Nightmare Walkers (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9273023&postcount=3), and some Demoraliser Heavy Assault Dreadnaughts (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9302990&postcount=13).

Their vehical support is below minimal, but it will help before the reinforcements arrive.

OOC: Sorry, been busy.

IC:

The Task Fleet took some damage from the opening salvo, but they were tough, and they returned fire quickly, unleashing a barrage of energy, missiles, and KEWs on the leding enemy ship, enough firepower to slag an SSD in a short time was directed against that one ship, and they would soon switch to the next, and the next, and rthe next...

They may have had more mechs and troops, but they didn't have the unmatched quality of the ACS. Troopers were the best of the best, capable of destroying many times their number with concentrated firepower and near invulnerability to small arms fire. They landed hard, and advanced towards the capitol, wondering vaguely when they would encounter the Clones...
Relative Liberty
14-01-2006, 16:34
Space Station Relativity, in orbit above Liberty One:
''Gentlemen, the third day is up,'' announced Two-Fang. The other men snapped into attention, for even though the Field Marshall and Star Lords technically held higher ranks than the SODOF Colonel, it was the Diplomatic Corps that de facto ruled Relative Liberty. Many a citizen had disappeared after questioning an order of the SODOF or SODOIA.
''The troops are ready as promised.'' It was a Field Marshall of the Army that first spoke.
''But it will take time to finish their training and bring them to the Designated Meeting Point for regrouping,'' said a Star Lord, ''at best we can have them ready in three more days.''
''So be it then. Let the ships travel in real space to save time. Send a message to the Huntaerian government and tell them that we will assist them if they require our aid.''

A standard HailSys signal was sent through hyperspace towards Huntaerian space. There was no need to encrypt; it would only postpone the Huntaerian response, and time was of the essence if victory was to be assured. There was of course the possibility that the enemies of Huntaer might intercept the signal, but it did not matter. It would be difficult indeed for the enemy to amass enough troops to counter yet another 200 ships, supposing that they did not withdraw from the battlefield to recover before facing fresh Libertarian troops.
''Greetings, people of Huntaer! We, the Stellar Empire of Relative Liberty, have come to you in this dark hour, not to try and destroy you like so many foul heathens in the immeasurable void, but to assist you in your struggle for survival and national sovereignty. We pledge our support if you would accept it, and will aid your nation in any way required. Fare well, and may we both prosper!
/ Colonel Two-Fang, Diplomatic Corps, His Most Venerable Dictator's representative.''
The message was simple, as always. The Libertarian Diplomatic Corps was not known for being refined, or well versed in the finer aspects of speechcraft and diplomacy, but rather ruthlessly effectivity and brutality.

Battleship SF Vengeance:
12th Squad moved silently through the dense vegetation. The dim light that forced its way past the treetops illuminated small spots of undergrowth and palm trunks. The rain fell heavy, splashing against the soldiers' trenchcoats. The Twelfth made their way along the bank of a small river, crouching behind bushes and scanning the area before moving to the next cover. Blue-Tooth raised his clenched fist and motioned to his soldiers to cover him. As he advanced forward he npticed a shadow amidst the reed, and as he aimed carefully for the shadow the enemy launched their ambush. Plasma bolts darted through the air; smashing against tree trunks and bushes. As the bullets shattered the super-heated plasma was released, vapourizing whatever it hit before dispersing into mist. Portable machine guns were brought to bear, and the thunderous crack of explosive bolts being fired was at stark contrast with the softer sound of carbine fire.
''Incoming!'' yelled Blue-Tooth as the sound mortar shells flying overhead was heard. Bomblets exploded all around, setting the palms on fire and cutting of the 12th Squad's escape route. Blue-Tooth ordered his men into the river and to swim across to the other bank, from where they would retreat into the dense jungle.
This wasn't the first time they'd been ambushed during the simulation, and it wasn't the last. For the past few days the Holodeck had been used to finish the recruits' training and to improve relations between COs and troopers. And so, while the Vengenace made its way through real space, the soldiers would continue to train ambushes, assaults, pincer manouvers and recce missions.

OOC: Huntaer, im useing the small bit of info that you put on the GE forum for my post, if its wrong let me know and i will work it out.

IC:

Aphotic Galaxy,
Huntaer Empire controled space,
unknown Sector

A blinding light apeared and vanished as quickly as it came, but when it did vanish a single ship was left, a Battle Cruiser, a nightsister class, the first of its kind. The ship was not of normal CF design, it had taken on more of the dagger shape of meny of the members of the GE used. Even tho it was 900 meters long, it was large for a battlecruiser of the Colonial Federal Navy.

tho this ship wasnt part of the CFN, it was part of the Nightsisters fleet, Military intel. This ship the NSN Necromancer was one of 5 built, each reporsenting the 5 key powers of the Council. This one belonged to Rachal, the master of the Dark Magics, a powerful and feared member of the council. And the ship showed this, its neo gothic look imposed itself apon ones self, it seemed to be made of flesh at a glimpes, but that was just for show.

"Where are we?" Rachal asked on the bridge of her ship, she was wearing her normal black leather Long coat and baggy black clothing. She had been searching for her sister, something she often did when she got the chance. Her ship like the others, had only the best on them. 1 full legion of Federal Marines with 66 fully trained nightsisters, each that lead a company of the Federal Marines and a Battalion Nightsister commander and a regiment nightsister commander. She herself led the legion, the Legion of the Dammed as she called it.

"unknown mam" the Sensor officer replyed, franticly looking over the sensor data. "oh...."

"what is it Lt Iric?" Rachal asked as she stood up from her throne like chair and turned to face Iric.

"well...we're in the Aphotic Galaxy, from what we can tell within the Huntaer Empire space. deep in there space, tho i cant say thats a good thing." Iric replyed.

"there civil war...or atlest something like that, shit..can we get back to our space?" Rachal asked, or more liked demanded.

"nope, not without the Huntaer help" Some elce said.

"fuck...well...we might as well make ourselves useful, jump to the nearest populated Huntaer Empire system." Rachal turned and pulled out her photo of her sister, to her it was her focus item, the key to her power being so powerful. "i wont give up on you" she muttered as she sat back down in her chair.

For over an hour the Necromancer sat, waiting to jump to the nearest system, they didnt know what to expect. No one had ever seen a nightsister ship, few in the Galactic Empire knew of them, she wondered to herself, would they be greeted with an apple or a knife. The problem would be befor they jumped, someone must have noticed them, would they jump befor anything arrived...who knew.
