I have a few Questions about rping.

-How do you decide who has what planet.
-Do you have armys or just spaceships.
-And I need to know what you have in your armys if you do have armys.
-And I need help creating an army.

And I need to see how this looks for a fleet.

1: People just invent planets(Usually outside of our solar system)
2: Most people have both, some(Very few) have only navies, and I don't think there are any solely army FTers.
3: Essentially similar stuff to a modern military(Artillery, tanks, infantry) futurized and some other things like power armour or mechs.
4: What kind of help do you want for building a army?
5: Looks alright for a fleet.

1: We pretty much say, hey, this is my planet, and come up with a name for it.

2: We have rather large armies and navies, so yes, we have armies.

3: Pick your tech, and get your numbers straight, along with equipment, and you're good to go.

4: Can't help you there, talk to Huntaer.

5: Looks okay, use bigger SDs.

First off, I rarely RP FT, so whether you use my advice at all is of no consequence to me or you.

1. Make them up.
2. I use spaceships for the space battles. I use armies for the occupational force. Whether you want to only foucs on one of them is up to you, or you can balance them out.
3. Anything non-godmodish.
4. Use your imagination.
5. Looks good to me.

Well there you go. That solves one of your issues right there.

Also, don't expect to win early on, it's alot harder to stay alive in FT than anywhere else, mostly because of the massive SD fleets floating around out there. The only reason I manage it at all is because I usually have backup when I piss off nations 3 times my size. My advice, don't make Chronosia, CW, Godular, Gronde, or any of the other "big" nations angry for at least the next week or so.

How do you decide who has what planet.
Make up planets, as the other's said. Most FT nations have entire systems under their control, and many have capital worlds and systems.
Do you have armys or just spaceships.
FT is primarily focused on spacecraft and spacefleets, BUT almost all FT nations have armies to strike at the surface of worlds and to board enemy craft.
And I need to know what you have in your armys if you do have armys.
Well, unlike MT militaries, armies are exclusivly land force. I myself have dropships assigned to my Marine divisions, but most nation's flying vehicles are assigned to the Navy (Space Fleet). Air Forces, per se, exist only as planetary fighter sqaudrons based on the surface. A wet Navy (One that is used on the water or similar liquid on a planet's surface) is basically obsolete,
although a few FT nations do operate ones for planetary defense.
And I need help creating an army.
Here's a start for a basic FT division.

100,000 Generic Soldiers
10,000 Powered Armor Soldiers
1,000 Light Mechs/Vehicles
1,000 Artillery Pieces
100 Heavy Mechs/Vehicles
