The Consequences of Your Actions-Blockade Inacted (FT closed, Attn: Azaha & Ankhmet)

A message had reached the Capital of Lakfakalalae from Emperor Dusanyu while he was away on a mission to other systems. The message came in the response about orders to deal with the unprovoked attack on the SeaQuestian by a worldship from the nation of Ankhmet. The message came back with orders for the systems of Ankhmet to be subjected to a blockade.

Admiral Wakapale, Mustaf, and Rulef were all gathered around a large table in the Capital's war room. Wakapale lead the preceedings being the most experienced in the room. "Admiral Spoor, Trife, Bebaus, and many of the Land Dwelling commanders are away which leaves the tree of us to head this operation. I want the two of you to take a substantial force to blockade their system. We do not have a second Forager built yet so you will need to use the ships of the humans to handle this. By his highnesses orders, you have access to the complete Eclipse and the rest of the super star destroyers along with as many Whitestars, Omega-X Destroyers, Victory Class Destroyers, and Frontlineships you may need. You also will take with you one Rambird as it is still being field tested. The reports of the other 7 have not come in yet."

Admiral Mustaf and Rulef looked at each other and then saluted Admiral Wakapale before they left the room.

A large force entered Hyperspace from Fleet Command of Star Forces. They were well on their way to the Ankhmet borders.

The dark vastness of the space on the outskirts of the Ankhmet borders lit up as jumpgates filled the darkness. Forces began surrounding space passes and planets to keep all transports out.

A message came from one of the Super Star Destroyers aimed at the local governments of the planets.

To local governments of the nation of Ankhmet:

These are forces of the Abh Empire under order of the Emperor to blockade your system. You have attacked an exploration ship of an ally of the Empire without justification. This is unacceptable and you shall be punished for your actions. As of now, we are moving our ships to blockade all planets. No transports or other vessels will be allowed to enter or leave the planets. Any ship entering the no fly zone will be dealt with as seen fit.

That is all for now. We will be in contact as the situation progresses.

Shortly after the THA(The Humankind Abh) appeared near the system and did its broadcast, several other ships erupted from the warp.

There were many ships, about 70 total, but there were no big ships. These we smaller ships capable of dealing with smaller merchant class vessels. The biggest ship there was the command ship, a Lunar class cruiser.

This is task force Eviscerate. We have come to aid the Abh in blockading the system from merchant and military vessels alike. No ships will be allowed in or out of the system. Any ships that refuse to come to a halt will be disabled, and need be, destroyed. This is the first and only warning.

The small frigates and destroyers moved in towards the planets. They knew that ships could simply exit FTL travel behind the main blockade, so these ships went in to blockade the planets directly, though staying out of range of planetary patrol ships and maybe planetary defenses.

Q-Space Weapons and Sensor Station Green

The sensor AI systems couldn't believe what they were seeing. A fleet of ships had come to blockade Ankhmeti systems in realspace. The commander of the base was informed.

"Excellent. Form a single-way Q-space portal to the most populous blockaded world, and fire 50 singularity torpedoes into orbit through it, that should catch those bastards off-guard."

Immediately, the AI responded. A greenish wormhole appeared in the low atmosphere of the blockaded world. Seconds later, 50 misiles were spewed out of it. Miniature cloaking devices activated, and they headed to their targets.

Alarms rang out through the ships orbitting a planet that had been designated as Planet Cluvaye after the royal family. Cloak sensors went off in most of the ships that contained them. Weapons were brought online along with defense grids.

Admiral Rulef was overlooking one ship when the call came out. Her actions were quick and decisive. "Whitestar fleet to attack all incoming missles. Omega-X Destroyers ready defense grids if they get through. Get me Admiral Mustaf."

Admiral Mustaf was overseeing another planet that had remained quiet when the link came over. "Mustaf, we are taking fire from a small amount of missles. Be sure your men are ready."

Mustaf looked a bit concerned that his counterpart was under attack. "How many?"

Her expression melted into a grin. "Only 50. It's not a problem as long as the cloak sensors keep working."

Yellow laser fire lit up the space surrounding the planet as sensors picked up cloaked missles. One ship was damaged incidentally as there was a malfunction and wasn't corrected until it was almost too late.

Admiral Rulef sent a dispatch to the Azaha task force.
Relay from Admiral Rulef:

We are currently taking fire on a small scale from planet code name Cluvaye. Assistance requested to scan for any other surprises. Situation under control.

The Azaha command ship recieved the message from the Abh, rear admirial Asagai Jr. sighing with unsatisfaction. "What's the galaxy coming to... blockaded barely a day and they start fighting without any diplomatic approach first. Seems like we're doing the galaxy a favor here." A young officer next to him nodded.

This is Rear Admiral Asagai, we recieve and understand. We will move away from the planets and resume the blockade. Should any major fleet ships come into contact, we will engage, and get our stand-by forces activated, they will be here six hours after I send the message. But now, we are sending an ultimatum.

Like he said, the destroyers and frigates aimed towards the planets they had surrounded. The missile frigates and destroyers then shot off one salvo each of large High Explosive missiles. They were not aimed at any major settlements, but were aimed at forests and lakes.

After that, they turned around and ventured away from the planet, hopefully out of range of planetary defense missiles.

A message was sent in a wide frequency band towards the blockaded space.

This is an ultimatum. Fire on us anymore and we will target civilian cities. This is a blockade, not a declaration of war. You wish us to withdraw, state your terms.

[Singularity missiles aren't offensive weapons :)]

The first shots to hit the missiles set off the delicate fuses. They quickly burst into dazzling displays of energy. Shortly, there was nothing but a slight distortion in the air. With every subsequent shot, it got stronger, sucking in the energy of the weapons fire and shielding the only surface city from attack, a scene repeated on all colony worlds under bloackade.

The administrator of the world quickly recieved orders from Ankh. With a push of a button and the activation codes, two hundred roid fighters primed for launch.

This is the Ankhmeti Protectorate of Falay. We demand to know what the hell you think you are doing! This area of space is tailored to the needs of the Ankhmeti Sar Command. If you continue to remain in our space, you will have a relentless guerilla war on your hands that you cannot win. You have one day to leave.

[I hope so :D]
Azaha

The reply was sent. Asagai wondered if these the enemy command chain was on some sort of narcotic.

And you have one day to pay reparations for assaulting one of our allies, and send a formal apology. I do not know what you think is going to happen, but we do not plan to land troops or engage in guerilla warfare. We plan to engage in genocide should our demands not be met. Assault on an ally is not acceptable in anyway shape or form. Do not let this turn into a fullscale war you cannot win. This is not a threat, this is a promise. One day to meet demands, or we enact vengeance. Admiral Asagai out.

He turned to his command crew. "Send a communications to the reserve fleet. Tell them to start preparing so they can be here ASAP. Then send a communications to the rest of our allies, gather those who said they would assist us in anyway shape or form. Looks like these people won't know the meaning of apology."

OOC: Can join in if you want.. but I don't plan for this to be an "omfg my fu11 1337 fl33t arriv3s nd pwnzors joo" sort of fight. I had hoped for this to be a diplomatic sort of thing, since we havn't shot anyone out of agression.

Quasispace Weapons and Sensor Station Green

"More toothless threats. Erect more singularity shields and warn them of the power we hold in Ankhmeti space."

You cannot defeat us in this region of space. At any moment we can open a portal and fire at you. You cannot destroy our worlds, as we can merely open more portals and use your weapons fore to power our shields. The genocidal victory you dream of cannot occur, especially since 98% of the Ankhmeti population lives in Q-space. Leave our colonists alone, or feel the wrath of our Gods.

The portal spawners opened more rifts, and fired more singularity shield missiles.

OOC: Oh, well thats really all I wanted anyway, I will have a ship arrive soon enough. In the mean time Ankmet, I will be sending you a TG very soon.
Azaha
30-11-2005, 20:58
I doubt that. I think we will stay and blockade. Alternate dimension crap, anything can be defeated. and I know just how to do it, Asagai out.

"Charge the warp drives, I want to execute the procedure first sign of these.. portals opening. Tell all ships to do the same, we will take turns collapsing the warp."
Ankhmet
30-11-2005, 21:02
[Collapsing the warp isn't going to help you :S]
Azaha
30-11-2005, 21:04
oh yes it is. It blocks all FTL travel, and keeps "our" dimension from being intruded on, while space and time tries to collect and repair itself. Hey, you come up with popping out of no where to attack us, I come up with ways to stop it.

You use an uber tactic, I use my own. I've used this tactic before, so I have a history and good record with it.

(OOC: Tag, may get in on this if Azaha and peeps are OK with it)
Ankhmet

[But the warp is not the only method of FTL, only the FTL which depends on the use of the warp. Obviously. I also have a history with my 'popping out of nowhere' thing.]
Azaha
30-11-2005, 23:50
I never said it was limited to just the warp.

Space and time has to do with all methods of FTL travel, and my tactic works with all FTL and inter-dimensional travel.
Ankhmet
30-11-2005, 23:59
So you have a magic all-FTL all-universe collapsing thing? Hmmm.
Otagia
01-12-2005, 00:06

Mustaf grinned wickedly as he heard the pathetic transmisssion from someone that had no hope of ever getting out of this conflict. "Send a message to the AIA informing them that we need the Black Cloud. If they care not about their own citizens, then we will destroy every living thing that is there."

OOC: Oh and if you insist on using uber shields over your planet and such, then there are ways to get around it such as EMP or Ion cannons and then there is the slight matter of aggressive viruses. I can get real nasty if you want me to.
Ankhmet
01-12-2005, 16:55
[It's called a black hole, on a smaller scale. Not magic shields of invulnerability, and they're +7, not +5. Get nasty. I'm not going to lose. Full stop.]
Azaha
01-12-2005, 19:33
Lol, when will you get it through you heard that this ISN'T an "omfg, i keel joo" sort of thing. Only YOU are making it somthing like that. I am not looking for a huge war, this is a COMMON thing to do when you want small reparations and the like, and you don't want major war.

YOU are making it a hostile situation, so YOU are going to drive this into a big war. And do you know what happens when YOU drive this into a big war? YOU will lose because YOU will be outnumbered because YOU refused to small a pay little reparation and YOU didn't apologize. YOU need to face the conciquences of your actions, because YOU attacked one of our allies in RP. YOU have to relise that this is RP. Stop acting high and might, and bring YOURSELF to the level so this can be RPed PROPERLY.
Ankhmet
01-12-2005, 19:59
[Just because it is a common thing doesn't mean I have to play along. I'm not going to pay any reparations. Accept it. Also, FTLi shouldn't affect naturally occuring wormholes...]

The Ankhmeti High Command regrets the necessity of a war. We hope that you are remembered as a cautionary tale.
Azaha
01-12-2005, 20:22
Alright, well you got war then.

And if they are naturally occuring.. then how come YOU make them go certain places and form? That's called man-made.
Ankhmet
01-12-2005, 20:38
[Please mark your OOC.

The vast majority are short-lived man-made wormholes that work on the same principle as the naturally occuring ones, but assuming that your techno-magic FTLi is somehow sentient, and knows the difference between the two, and for some reason knows how to stop it, then you must have god on your side.]
Azaha
01-12-2005, 20:44
Nope, all in the same.

Here, why don't you do a forum search, and do a keyword search for FTLi, of Faster Than Light inhibitors. A few people have actually written very good explinations on how these work. Mine work on the same principle. So why don't you do yourself a favor and read up on the matter before coming to assumptions, hm?

Mustaf sat back in his comfortable chair while the communications officer read the communication back to him. His lips spread into a wicked grin. "Communications, send this reply."

We acknowledge your declaration of war. In response we declare that these colonies hereby belong to the Abh Empire. All civillians that accept this will be given full citizen's rights.

Mustaf tilted his head back to his Chief of Staff. "Send word to Star Forces Command. We are going to need the marines to take a few planets. Make sure they come fully prepared. Oh and inform Rulef of the decision as well."

The Imperium was on a war footing, but something was wrong.

The factories were not working at full capacity. Someting was draining the power grid fiercely.

That something was Lab 52, Ascension Division.

At this very moment, they High Command was in a meeting with the head of this particular research division's head, Dr. David Giger, a refugee from one of the colonies of the Old Impeium.

"Doctor Giger, I assume you have summoned te High Command for a reason."

"Actually, yes I have. Probably the most important reason any of you will ever speak to another human for."

"We hear you've made some breakthroughs in studying the Alteran databanks?"

"Actually, I think I've cracked it. I know how to ascend one. But if I'm right, you need to kill me. Do that, and the Imperium is safe. Once I am an Ascended being, I can ascend you all"

"You must think we're stupid!"

"It's the only way. Do that, and witin four days the Ankhmeti people will be gone, leaving billions of piles of clothes."

"What about our technologies? We can't just leave them lying around!"

"That won't matter to us, soon. Please. If I'm wrong, you can get someone else to work my division... Perhaps you could use that sarcophagus device we captured?"

"You have my reluctant authorisation.. I must admit, it would be incredible if you did this... Plus, it would cheat those bastards out of the pleasure of conquering us. Go to your lab and maket he necessary arrangements."

Dr Giger left, preparing to die, and begin the next step in evolution.

In little over half an hour, Abh marine drop ships began arriving in the system. The combined marine units numbered at a hundred thousand. The ships aslo contained units of heavy armor and artillary. This would be the field test of the reconfigured Abh ground forces.

Mustaf was at the railing of his ship when the marines began to arrive. "Inform all marine units to prepare for invasion. Bring all Super Star Destroyers to the front and prepare to bring the shield down. All EMP rounds prepare to fire."

On the other end, Admiral Rulef was preparing the same thing with her own fleets. The marines had divided in half so as to hit the two populated planets at once.

OOC: Time to send in the next ace up my sleeve. Fresh from Project Stellae Creaturarum.

IC: The Emperor knew that the allied nations from the G.F.F.A were doing what they could to get reperations. But, he knew that as the original incident had involved a SeaQuestian ship, SeaQuestian intrests should be represented. That is why he had decided to send in the new bio-ship.

New Texas

The new two-hundred meter long warship slid from the yard where it had been grown. With its three wing-like fins folded flush with the hull in passive mode, the bio-ship move a safe distance away before activating its F.T.L. unit. Flickers of white electrical energy engulfed the vessel. In a burst of light, the craft entered Starburst, a F.T.L. designed for use with this and all future SeaQuestian bio-craft. It had never been tested on a mechanical ship as the Starburst required organic components that just wouldn't function on a non-organic ship. The bio-ship was en route to join the Abh fleet. The untested ship would recieve her shakedown cruise in a trial-by-fire if the Ankhmet forces decided to attack.

Across the realspace holdings of the Imperium, messages were recieved from the high command.

Total surrender STOP offer no resistance STOP shut down all shields deactivate planetary weapons STOP combat not necessary ascension imminent STOP

This puzzled the millions of citizens. Most of hem had never heard of Ascension, and none of them wanted to surrender, but a lot of them held a great respect for the High Command, and set down their weapons. The droid fighters of the Home Guard deactivated in the middle of combat simulations, planetary shields dropped. Singularity missiles had their power cut.

One colony was not so sure about this. The planet Harceisis was one of the oldest worlds of the Imperium, and used to be second only to the throneworld. The planetary authorities simply ignored the commands from above. Administrator Graen stood before the units of the Imperial Guard gathered on his world, a vast industrial complex, and spoke to them.

"Soldiers of the Ankhmeti Imperium, today is a great day. Today we will show the Imperium that we will never surrender! We will fight until every man on this world is gone, or until the invaders are repelled! You will recieve orders to spread out into the hidden bases in the city, where you will await the invasion. Until then, we will appear to welcome the invaders with open arms. They will be butchered."

We, the people of Harceisis, hereby surrender to the alliance of empires blockading our people. We have no military capability beyond the Droid Home Guard, and will offer nor esistance should you choose to occuppy the planet. All we can do now, is repeat the motto of the Imperium: Vae Victis, made all the more bitter by the fact that this time, we are the conquered.

Admiral Mustaf's Super Star Destroyer orbited the nearby planet. The marine forces along with its armored support had arrived and it was now time to begin securing the planets. The shields had been dropped so they could begin landing immediatly. The larger populated cities would be taken care of first and then the marines would sweep out and secure outlying areas.

"Communications get me in contact with the commander of the Starenell troops."

"Channel open Admiral."

Starenell commanders, begin landing your troops as soon as we launch ours. We have brought along some heavy armor to secure any pockets of resistance that might form and there will be several mobile suits to accompany them.

The Admiral sat back in his chair. "Launch our marines."

The marines launched a single division to each planet along with its proper support. A single division contained:

50,000 Abh+ marines
10 Imperial walkers
35 Armored attack units (with twin rail guns)
20 Heavy artillary (large rocket launchers)
20 Sniper class armored units (large single shut gun mounted on the back with armor piercing rounds.)
-I also have pictures if you need them for visual aid-

Dropships fell out of the marine's main cruisers and entered the atmosphere. The dropships themselves were armed with tactical nukes and a rail gun mounted under the nose.

The Organae, like many new SeaQuestian designs, did not have atmospheric abilities. This was a space dwelling organism. After sitting a few moments near the center of the Abh fleet, she moved closer to the planet. She stopped just outside of her maximum weapons range. The emitters glowed yellow as the weapons systems were activated. At Yellow Alert, the ships defense were on-line and offenses were on stand-by. She was ready for action if any came her way. The SeaQuestian bio-ship would provide orbital support for the landing marines.

The commando teams that currently infested the world-city spotted the troopships. Acting upon training given to them, they fired off two anti shipping missiles, before melting back into the city. The first shots of the ground war had been fired.

All over the streets, graffitti proclaimed 'The GFFA will never break Ankhmet', in a variety of lurid colours.

Within minutes of the missile attack, the administrator was on the public broadcast system.

"People of Harceisis, do not join the rebels. The GFFA is our friend, and will set us free. Do not despair, but rejoice. We will now reject the empty claims of the Pre-Universals, and their lackeys in the high command! Do not fight for any reason. Why should we be part of the Imperium? The Emperor has not been seen for any reason in a thousand years!"

On encoded terminals of the resistance computers, this read differently.

The GFFA is despair. Rejoice, fight for a thousand years!

"I recommend a joint base of operations that way it will be easier to defend. I would recommend leaving some mech units behind and we shall do the same along with one Imperial Walker."

He looked back into the city. "Have your men fan out in anything you have that is mobile and secure the area. This is not a parade and I want your men to act like that is the battlezone. If the citizens are armed, give them one warning and then bring them down if they do not comply. Understand?"

The commander was getting a communication from all units giving the all clear. He took a step away from the Starenell colonel. "Alright proceed." He then returned to the colonel.

Assault mech units accompanied small fire units of the Abh marines into the city as they began securing sections of the city. The bulk of the Abh scouts made their way towards the city center with the Artillary mech units. They would be securing the outter area first and then begin working their way in until they got to the city center and then the bulk of the marines would arrive. Once there, they would then push on to the rest of edges of the city leaving way points of secured locations.

Harceisis:
Sargaent Barfirio slid the door of the drop ship open just as a missle went cruising by. It met one drop ship head on as the marines lost ten marines by the attack. He brought the comm down from his helmet to get in touch with fleet command. "Admiral Rulef, this is Sargaent Barfirio. We are encountering resistance on the planet surface of Cluvay. Inform the SeaQuestian ship to begin bombardment to soften the defense."

Admiral Rulef was sitting in her chair when the call came through. "Understood Sargaent. Secure area outside of the main city and begin establishing a base of operations. We'll have your bombardment in short order."

"Communications, get me the SeaQuestian ship."

"Yes Admiral."
SeaQuestian ship, this is Admiral Rulef of the Abh Empire. We need accurate planetary bombardment on coordinates relay 9-0-5-8. Abh marines have already landed and are securing areas outside of the city so watch where you shoot.

Sargaent Savage and his men land a few kilometers outside of the city and begin securing a landing zone for dropships and supplies. Marines began digging in and seting up a communications station in the middle of the complex. Pillboxes were set up on the edge of the perimeter while assault mech units began patroling the perimeter with two Imperial Walkers standing tall. The rest of the supplies would be on the next landing then the marines could begin their assault on the city.

Soon after the missile attack came the 'surrender'. Hundreds of volunteers dressed in Guard uniforms walked towards the invaders, a white flag flying, weapons above their heads.

"We reject the false promises of Emperor Pelagius! Please, have mercy!"

They were grimy, a collection of pitiful humanity, obviously conscipts.

OOC: It does not matter. It is still a joint unit, so it could be used for GFFA purposes later.
IC:Staric tanks, infantry, and a company of light mechs were sent out, they went along with the Abh plan, securing the area after the Abh had gone through.

The colonel spoke again. "Sounds good. and I think we have something they do not."

Commander Savage looked at him curiously. "What do you have then?"

The marines had met no resistance on the ground with Starenell forces and were steadily making their way to the center of the city. One of the fire squad leaders reported in. "Commander Savage, the front rim is secure and we request two Imperial Walkers to secure the city square. You may begun the final sweep of the area."

Harceisis:

Reports were coming into the Sargaent that there were soldiers surrendering but this was a little suspicious to him. An attack and then mass surrenders? Something wasn't right. He grabbed one soldier on his way out. "Instruct the prisoners Ankhmet prisoners to stay where they are. Grab a few more marines and walk through the lines taking their weapons then search them for explosives or anything that could be used as a weapon. Make sure the pillboxes are trained on them along with the Imperial Walkers."

The Abh saluted. "Yes sir."

Several Abh marines began walking through the lines taking the troops weapons. Once they were all removed, searches for other items would then be conducted and the marines made sure they stayed outside the trench line of the Abh base. Marines began filling the trenches with their rifles ready along with the pillboxes.

The Sargaent brought his helm mike down. "Flagship this is Sargaent Barfirio. I am requesting the rest of our men and supplies at this time. I aslo request a large transport ship to come down, we have some prisoners that are need to be questioned."

Just within the city, snipers readied their wepons. The invaders would be allowe within the city, but once in there, they would feel he wrath of Ankhmet's finset soldiers. Marksmen trained to the highest degree, then a little higher.

OC: Are you talking about Harceisis since I already have troops within your other city?

IC:
The prisoners were stripped down to basically nothing as they approached the base camp. Weapons were thrown into a large pile to be destroyed later. Dropships with the remaining troops and armor units soon came in with the new urban tanks as well.

The prisoners were loaded onto a transport ship and sent to the flagship for keep until the planet was secured.

The Fluidian (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y131/Kvess/Character%20Pics/320x240.jpg) pilot blinked the port and starboard orange glowing lights on the bio-ship in response to the Abh message.

As a species, the Fluidians do not have vocal chords and could only enter into a full two-way conversation with another telepathic being.

The Organae moved to a position in a very low orbit around the planet. She rotated around ninety degrees so that her bow was facing the planet.

The Fluidian pilot sent a short telepathic message to the Abh ship that had sent the original message:

In position. Bio-etheric weapon is armed.

Admiral Rulef felt the message in her head. She rubbed her temples trying to shake the feeling. Her Chief of Staff looked at her with concern but the Admiral just dismissed it. "Tell the Organae they have clearance to fire. Our men are still out of the city."

Organae, you have permission to fire when ready.

The Organae (http://www.startrekaustralia.com/startrek/species8472/8472bioship/prev.gif) acknowledged the Abh message by blinking all of the orange lights on her exterior twice.

The three prong structures at the bow started to glow as the bio-etheric engery was collected. At full power, the three prongs discharged the gathered energy towards the geometric center between them. Once all the power was concentrated in the one spot, the restriction was removed and all 7,500,000 TeraWatts lanced out in an orange beam of destruction.

The beam hit with terrible effect. The centre of the city simply dissolved into nothing, with a shockwave causing damage to the surrounding area. The bunker beneath the city collapsed, taking at least half of the resienial quarter of the city.

Dazed and confused, the administrator looked around the sttronroom of his palace. The auto-shielding systems had taken the brunt of the blast. Angrily, he typed out a message for the invaders:

What the hell is wrong with you? You just destroyed the city centre, destroying a hospital and several schools! We surrendered! You cannot hold the majority responsible for the actions of the few who wish to oppose you. My casualty repors suggest at least half a million dead, with 700,000 wounded. I hope you're happy.

Admiral Mustaf had taken over command of this operation since war had been taken to a level that did not go well for Admiral Rulef and her views since they were not the traditional Abh views of war.

A message was promptly sent in reply to the palace:

With all due respect, I do not trust you. For all we may know you may have ordered them to begin firing on us and this proclamation of surrender is a ruse. We will not hesitate to destroy your planet if you do not surrender more fully than this. If you wish the safety of your citizens, then you should exercise some authority. If you have no control over your own citizens then be grateful that the Abh Empire has come for we shall put order where it belongs.

The signal was given for the Abh+ marines to enter the city on Harceisis. Mech units began marching down the main streets of the city that was left while the marines began moving into the alley ways and began moving from building to building to clear them. Though this shouldn't take too terribly long since there were not that many buildings left.

Artillery units pold up to a stop on the outskirts of the city to give support when needed.

You saw my troops leave. You saw the surrender of the Planetary Defense Force. YOu committed a war crime just to root out civilian resistance troops!

The message was sent along with a picture of a ruined school, with half a child sticking out of a pile of rubble.

oc: unfortunatly you never RPed that your troops left so they had no way of knowing.

ic:
It had not been above the Abh to destroy a planet if they had not willingly surrendered. There was not such thing as compromise with them. And with such case, civilians did die.

In every war there are casualties whether they are civilian or military. War is not prejudice.

The marines continued to run through building after building securing the outter perimeter so that they could move further into the city without resistance behind their lines. All weapons were confiscated so sa to not be used against them at the moment though once things were controlled on the planet. Certain rights would be restored.

OOC: The bio-etheric energy weapon mounted on the Organae class bio-ship is a penetration weapon and not a splash damage weapon. But, oh well, you made up your mind on the deaths already. You are just lucky I didn't send in seven more Organae and a Planetbuster (then the entire planet would be destroyed). The Planetbuster class bio-ship would be the one that has a weapon that does splash damage.

IC: The Fluidian pilot broadcast a telepathic message. It was simple, and to the point.

We respect the warriors.

The Organae then moved back towards the Abh fleet.

Marines began moving away from the outter rim of the city and pushed towards the palace of the local governor. Assault mechas along with two Imperial Walkers marched with the marines to secure the palace and demand that the governor come out.

Snipe units began taking up positions as well to cover their advance.
