The Allied Union of Velkya is proud to present it's first annual Air Force Showcase, in which foreign and domestic dignitaries alike will be able to view one of the world's most potent air forces all in one place. In a massive three day event, viewers will visit historic Sand Island, the only Velkyan holding abroad. Inside Sand Island Naval Air Station, quests will walked along catwalks in huge hangers, viewing both present and past aircraft of the Velkyan air force. But the AUAF isn't the only air force that will be presenting at the AFS. Foreign air forces are allowed to rent space to display their own aircraft as well, in order to make this a truly spectacular occasion. Pricing plans are:
Fighter-Sized Aircraft, $1,000,000
Craft larger than 40 meters, $2,000,000
Craft larger than 100 meters, $3,000,000
Craft larger than 200 meters, $10,000,000
Guests should arrive by transport plane on Runway 1 of Sand Island Naval Air Station. Accomedations will be provided by Royal Cruise Liner, Queen Mab, which is lying at anchor off the coast of the island. We ask a strict maximum of 4 guards per person, and fighter escorts by confined to two fighters. The airspace is being partolled by the 19th Tactical Fighter Sqaudron "Bulldog", which consists of 12 SF-3 Xeon fighters. Escort fighters will be allowed to land at the NAS, but they will be kept under 24/7 watch by security forces.
We ask that foreign nations followed these rules:
-Weapons carried by the bodyguards must be a pistol of reasonable caliber. Assault weapons, machineguns, sub machine guns, or explosives of any kind will be confistcated.
-The Velkyan Air Force expressedly wishes no private cameras allow near it's aircraft, and any found on the dignataries or body guards will be confiscated. If you would like a picture of yourself and/or an aircraft, please direct one of our photographers to do so.
- Foreign aircraft participating in the exhibition may NOT carry armament of any kind. Note that this does not apply to escort aircraft.
- Nations that are currently at war with Velkya or any of it's commonwealth or ADC allies may not participate or send dignitaries to the exhibition. Should any hostile aircraft approach, it will be given a single warning. I it is not heeded, the aircraft will be intercepted and shot down by friendly aircraft.
- Foreign nation MAY use their exhibits as "storefronts", but they must first alert the Sand Island Command Center to this.
