The two countries of Liechtenstein and Switzerland enjoy a union within the Royal Families. That is a good excuse for it, but in reality the government itself was already intertwined. Liechtenstein enjoys representation in the Parliament, but the military is still left to Switzerland. The Dual Economic Monarchies are a republic with 5 states in Switzerland, and 2 in Liechtenstein.
The Royal Family has some power, since they were responsible for the union of the two, but not more than the politically designated head, Macom Villinus.

Austria cauiosly asks New Switzerland if it would be at all able to agree to a non-agression pact and a open borders agreement with maybe a tri-economic treaty? These will hopefully be combined into the Tri-State Agreement and Economic Plan?

New Switzerland glady accepts your offer for the Tri-Economic Treaty. Such a thing is thought by both the joint royalty and the Parliament of Switzerland. An open borders agreement would also be prudent in according with both countries' intrests.

The Southern Confederacy would like to offer New Switzerland the resources at it's disposal. We hope that we can strike some sort of trade deal, and that friendship shall grow between our nations.

New Switzerland accepts Franberry's offer of friendship, and would like to see more trade and such between the countries. We would also like to extend the Tri-Economic Treaty to the Southern Confederacy.

Okay, well it seems the tri-state treaty will just be us two, am still hopeful on the subject of a third member and I expect that one of the new guys will agree to the Tri-State Pact.
