The government today released the specifications for its new MBT, IFV/CFV and its Minelayer.
Earth Mark I MBT
Height: [8.2 ft (2.5 m)]
Width: [12.1 ft (3.7 m)]
Length: [28.3 ft (8.63)]
Weight: 55 tons
Crew: 3 (Driver/ Gunner/ Commander)
Armament: 1 75 mm smoothbore cannon, 2 7.62 mm machine guns, and 4 missile launchers able to fire a variety of missiles.
Armour Protection: Spaced Multilayer composite
Engine: 1650 bhp multifuel diesel
Range: 600 km or 373 miles
Speed: 78 km (48 mph)
Based on the chassis of the Leopard 2 tank was the beginning foundation for our tank. After designing a whole new turret for use with the 75 mm cannon and an autoloader plus the addition of 4 missile tubes. An improved engine plus with the losing of weight with the reduction to a 75 mm gun has allowed more armor to be used while also increasing speed from 45 mph to 48 mph. To use of a smaller gun with more focus shifted to missiles is to give us an advantage in battle. Missiles are lighter-have more of a punch and can reach out longer letting our tanks dictate the battle. However, should the missiles be all used the tanks are more then capable of still taking the fight to the enemy with the 75 mm gun- a gun that can almost match a 120 mm gun both in range and in punch.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eclipse IFV
Length: [22.10 ft (6.97 m)]

The IFV- amphibious capability has been added with improve amour. The job of the IFV is to take the troops into battle, drop them off, provide fire support as much as possible, and if need be withdraw the troops. Other models based on the Eclipse IFV include an anti-tank/anti-air/Recon/ambulance/command vehicle/recoverly version with the 30mm turret being replaced with 6 ATGM, 8 stinger SAM, a 12.7mm MG, a wench, or surveillance/commucations equipment depending on the version.

The government today announced the changes made to the military.
In the Army- the Earth Mark I's MBT will be phased out as soon as the new MBT's are delivered to the Army.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the Navy- All Prince of Wales Class Battleships have been retired and all but one scrapped- the UES Victoria docked in the port of Sydney earlier today and will become a musuem open to the public. The building of the four Trimaran Class ships has been scrapped until futher notice. To replace the Price of Wales battleships- the military decided to build a battlecruiser that combines the power of the battleship but at a cheaper cost which means more can be built and maintained. The new class of ship was given the name Emperor. The following are its specs.
"Emperor" Class Battlecruiser
Dimensions: Length (826.10 ft), Beam (93.6 ft); Draught (32.10 ft)
Propulsion: Two S8G Pressurised water-cooled natural circulation reactor powering four steam turbines delivering (120,000shp) and two Fiat gas turbines delivering (54,000shp) to two shafts
Speed: 30 + knots
Displacement: 39,450 tons full load
Armor Protection: 12-4 inch belt, 10in barbettes, 11in turrets, and 3in decks.
Armament: 3 Mk 7 16in/50 caliber gun in one turret at bow, three Mk 41 VLS system with 192 cells for Standard, ASROC, and Tomahawk missiles, four quadruple Harpoon SSM launchers, three Mk 45 5in/54 caliber (lightweight) gun, two 30mm Goalkeeper and four Mk 15 20mm Phalanx CIWS, and two triple Mk32 torpedo tubes. Three SH-60R helicopters can be operated.
Complement: 520
Based on the hull of the Kirov Battlecrusier- but with extensive upgrades to both its armament, powerplant, and sensors. Cheaper then a battleship but packing almost the same amount of punch. This is a vessel to be feared and respected by both its crew and the enemies that would do our nation harm.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the Air Force- A new Ground Attack/Support aircraft has finally been devolped and will be delivered to the Armed Forces ASAP. The following are its specs.
Tornado II

General Information- A light tank designed to operate among and with the heavier tanks. The Hellfire missiles will be able to reach out and knock out tanks at ranges far greater then the 105mm gun would be able to. While it may seem as the 160mm of protection is weak, it was designed this way so it would be light enough to assualt enemy beacheads and be easier to transport, among other uses where a light tank would be more pratical for combat than a 60 ton heavy tank. An autoloader is in use for the 105mm gun.
"Earth II" Main Battle Tank
Length: [31.4 ft (gun forward)]
Width: [11.12 ft]
Height: [9.25 ft]
Weight: 65 tons

A new frigate has been designed and commissioned into the service of UEN. It has been named the Prussian Class.
This Frigate was designed to replaced all Perry class frigates in service over the following 2-5 years.
Instead of spending all the money to scrap the following ships- all Perry class Frigates are being offered for sale at a very low price of $325 million dollars a piece. However, we are willing to take offers. Current Inventionary is 254 ships for sale. All ships are in very good condtion.
