Today, DHara was the object of attack from several well timed terrorist strikes. A large bomb leveled the entire left wing of the Peoples Palace of DHara Secundus. Simultaneously, a bomb was set off in the Confessors Palace in Aydindryl, demolishing the petitioning hall and several surrounding rooms. The third assassin was killed immediately prior to setting off his charge in the Garrison in Aydindryl. We were unable to find any sort of identification on his person. The targets of these attacks were Gov. Ratcliffe in Aydindriyl, the Col. James Huges in the garrison, and Master Rahl himself in the Peoples Palace. The only successfull strike seems to have been on Ratcliffe, though we have not yet been able to find his body. Estimates of well over 600 people were killed in these strikes, at least 1400 wounded, and an estimated 600 million gold coins worth of damage was done to the ancestral home of the Confessors in Aydindryl. The D'Haran Empire places a 100million coin reward to anyone that provides us with evidence leading to the capture of the people responsible for this. The Grand Duchy of Elyria-Lorain is shocked and apalled at the cowardly attack on Dhara Secundus. We will do our utmost to aid in the apprehension of the terrorists, and to render medical aid to our allies.

I have ordered the 107th and 55th MASH Units to DHara Secundus. They will be transported by the 39th Armored Platoon to points affected by the bombs.

The Divided Territories of Zanziik are shocked and appalled by the absolute lack of compassion and mental stability of the D'haran leaders. You propose that your people have suffered a financial disaster, one that your people will likely feel the repercussions of for years, and then you immediately turn around and offer one sixth of the damage done in return for the heads of the killers. I suggest one of two things. Either you and your "government" learn how to correctly handle a financial crisis, or your people call for your immediate resignation. That is all.

First I wish to personally thank the Duchess of Elyria-Lorain for her swift and much needed aid. We owe your nation a great debt for their loyalty.
Secondly, to the Zanziik High Council,
We are willing to pay ant cost to ensure the protection of the lives of our people. Yes, this was a great financial blow, but finding and removing the perpetrators prevents this from happening again. If allowed to continue operating, these terrorists can inflict much more than 100million coins of damage, and thus this is but a small amount to pay for their removal. If the Zanziik feel that it is unnecessary for us to pay this, we wonder why they would, if indirectly, aid these dispicable cowards. Is not saving lives worth any cost?

Are the lives of your people worth so much to you that you would take away all economic freedoms from them, so that they suffer during their life? The most likely way that your "government" will recover you losses is to tax your people, who will be forced to suffer because their "government" set an outrageously high bounty for an almost non-existant threat.

I cannot see how you intend to use my tax rates to claim that I am over taxing my people when my people pay a flat income tax of 17%. i just visited your homeland statistics and this is your income tax rate:The average income tax rate is 100% My people would gladly contribute a small amount to be better able to protect themselves from threats, no matter the size. If you allow a petty criminal to exist, bigger criminals will come. My entire Board of Advisors is outraged at the audacity of your council to insult us at a time like this. They call for retaliation. It is only my wish to not spill more blood of my people that holds us back. We are sorry for your loss but we suggest a lowering of the ransom for terrorists who have done but minor damage to a nation your size. Terroists once attacke the nation of Exetonia killing over 50,000 and doing hundreds of Billions worth od damage and we set a bounty of just 50,000,000 dollars for the heads of the leaders of the terrorist cells.

Regrettably, we were given bad intel by the incompetent fools at the UN. Our information was incorrect on your tax rate. However, we may not need to lower the payment at all, as it seems we have found on our own the perpetrators' identity. When it has been confirmed, we will announce it pupblicly.
