The Alterran deassention began during the second siege of Atlantis. When all hope was lost and it seemed that the wraith were victoriorous there was a blinding flash and when the light faded they were already working on several consoles. The Atlantis team were soon shepered away from the controls as the rightful owners of Atlantis began construction of Drones and several ZPM's.
Within an hour the Wraith fleet was limping away from Atlantis and the Alterrans were able to explain why they had returned. They explained how a great evil was prepering to arrive in the Milky way gallaxy and that they had come to protect there childern, mankind.
This lead to the signing of the Alterran protectorate which placed mankind under the protection of the Alterrans. With this alliance formed it was decided by the Alterran high council to move Atlantis away from the danger of the Wraith and so a course was set for Earth, not however before the 'Aurora' class sleeper ships in the system had been called back in to action in protecting the Pegasis outposts.
Within weeks of returning to Earth the Alterran's had not only boosted there fleet with more ships but also created several 'Daeteleus' class war ships for Mankind. This later lead to the creation of the true alliance between Mankind and there creaters after the flagship Aurora was crippled in the battle of the Tannis sector by a lucky shot from a Hatark class frigate. The Aurora would have been boarded if it had not been for a near by Daeteleus interveaning.
This attak on the Alterran people lead to the war between The two races and the Goa'uld and it was during this war that the Haven people were discovered and quickly incoperated in to he alliance. This was because the Havenites were the prototypes for the human race and being prototypes had flaws. These were over aggresiveness and a reproductive fault that ment only 1/10 childeren where male.
At present the war is at a stalemate but now a new ship has just been completed, the A.H.H. Phoenix, which will become the Flagship for the three race fleet. Combining both Alterran and human technology the Phoenix was designed to lead the new age of Mankind and its allies.
