(UNA)

With the Fall of the United nations in the last 10 years the Corporate States steps up, joining in arms with other European Nation Rolatia and the Easten Nation of Solux, the formation was a simple one the UNA where freedom was stell held dear for each nation but come together for a common goal.

Laws

All members of the UNA are to be granted free and open trade between each member. Import taxes on UNA member goods is to be no more then 3% of the goods' value with the ultimate goal is to drop this down to 0% within 3 years.
A non-agression pact will be signed between all nations
A nation has the right to govern as they wish - no alliance member has the right to force anything on any other nation
All new international laws inside the alliance must pass by a two-thirds majority. This point overrules point 3
No member may enter another members' land, territorial waters or airspace without express permission by the member's government
All members will contribute at least 10,000 men to join an UNA peacekeeping force
The UNA Security Council will be made up of 3 permanent members (CorpSac, Rolatia and Solux) and 3 rotating members determined by UNA vote
The UNA members have free right of war between members, but no other UNA member may interfere with such a war. The UNA Security Council can enforce a temporary cease fire to settle problems at table. At any time that the Security Council feels it is needed, UNA peacekeepers will be sent on a 3:1 majority
Nations have the right to leave at any time

All humans have the fundamental right to life, no matter what nationality, religion or colour
All people living under the UNA countries should be supplied with the basic neccessities of food, clothing and shelter
Prisoners of war have the same rights as anyone else. They shall not be genocided by UNA member countries - but individual cases where war crimes have been commited will be examined by the UNA Security Council
Civilians must have the opportunity to surrender and not be injured or killed by enemy troops
There must be no killing of unarmed men, women and children
No biological or chemical weapons are to be used in war
Anyone has the right to leave his country for another and be kept there if he is in danger from his own government unless he has commited war crimers

I am willing to hold up to one military base in Europe, a total of six in my Central American, South American and African holding (up to two per old country) and research bases in Venezuela, El Salvador and Liberia as well as research on the RU-1 space station, currently in orbit. However, there are also alliance bases from the SAA to be constructed in Georgetown, Guyana - I hope this is not a problem

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Tribes Cacicate announced today that the country will open relations with the proposed UNA. However, the Luy Maran Ei only asked observer status while its current government does not support Un-like organizations.

Greetings Comrades,
The Solux Empire is undergoing final construction stages at the recently assimilated city of Shanghai. The port and surrounding city have been rebuilt into a military base, while the outskirts are being rebuilt to house both military troops and the city's former citizens.

Once this base is complete, it will serve as the base of operations for our part of the UNA peace-keeping force, allowing for both air, land, and naval deployment.

We announce our vote to bring Jagonia into the UNA

anyone can reply to diplomatic messages aslong as they are part of the Security Council, the only thing is it cant be accepted unless a majority agree. If they dont agree reason are to be stated, ways of working around it can be put forwards and it works on from there.

Its just that the message says we wish to open relations, for the Corporate States in the UNA its an open door tho that may change depending on how people want to shape the early UNA, remember ive left alot open so that the UNA can be molded in meny ways. One day it could be a peace loving tree hugging group the next laws could pass to make it a Genocidle world killing group. why do you think there are so few laws at the moment.

In accordance to my position, I have brought the recommendations of my nation as to the struture of this new alliance. ooc: observer status for me?? no??

The Responce to the Request of the UTC for observer status

The Corporate States belives that giving such status to the UTC would be a grave Security risk, if the UTC had the power to watch over the UNA it would be able to observe things that the UNA may wish others not to know. Aswell as this the UTC tho not having any power to put forward or vote on resolution maby be able to influance others to meet there own ends. For this reason the CS rep will not put forward or 2nd any motion to allow this to happen and will vote agenst any such motion.

Corporate States Ask for Peacekeepers and Recognition

Alex stood up at the 1st UNA meeting after 2nding Solux Proposal, he took a sip of his water then spoke. "As meny of you know the Corporate states a few weeks ago took control of Westen Russia, now the Corporate States of Europa. But with the uneasy cease fire between the Corproate states and russia we ask that peacekeepers are sent to protect the borders of Europa on the eastern front. Now i can see that you may feel this is a ploy to boost defences and force russias hand, this is not the case this is to stop Our forces,the Corporate States, and russia forces from engaging. We feel that the Russian would feel less threaten, simple since if we had 1000s of troops along the border they may feel that its a prep for an invasion where as if a muti national peacekeeper force were on the borders till things cooled the chances of a russian or Corporate attack would be lessened. We do not want any more blood sheed and feel that the peacekeepers are the only answer to it, this ofcorse will annoy meny local commanders in Europa. We also ask for Recognition of the sovereignty of the new nation of Europa."


OOC: oh ive come up with a vary simple and fair Veto system, basicly all members of the Security Council have 1 Veto, this means that a member of the SC can veto a resolution, treaty etc and in effect the thing Vetoed would be treated as if it failed any vote. Now since you only have 1 you can only Veto 1 thing, you regain your Veto after each Term (5-10 years) but you can not bank Vetos (mean if you had 1 Veto and didnt use it at the next term you would still have only 1 Veto).

This basicly means that you have to be vary careful about useing Vetos since alot can happen in a single term (once the UNA Grows). so if you think this is fair then we will use this system.

Dr J. Edwards, Rolatian Prime Minister, stood up and cleared his throat. "We are willing to send in a core force of 10,000 front line men and 40,000 logistics to serve in Russia - we would send more, but our military budget is stretched. We also recognize Europa's sovereignity, and vote for the Solux proposal."

"Meanwhile, I must bring your attention to the following proposal to stop human rights abuse. It is similar in goal to the Geneva Convention."

We see that other nations have agreed with our proposal, we of course, vote in favor of our measure. As the Rolatian delegation has already voted in favor of the resolution, we request the remaining security council member, the delegation from Jagonia, vote on the proposal as well.

The Solux Empire also 2nds and votes for, the Rolatian Prime Minister's proposal. As our nation already practices the provisions stated within the resolution, it is only proper that such a humanitarian policy becomes standard to all members of the UNA. The Solux Empire also formally recognizes the sovereignty of Europa.

In Regards to the Coporate States request for peacekeeper troops in Russia, The Solux Empire Pledges 15,000 marines and support personell led by Marine Rukov Gavrie Spiakov. Our troops will help stablize this region in turmoil. This is the maximum force we can send at this time, as we are currently dealing with a low level of local unrest.

The Corporate States Vote nay to Resolution 02:- Basic human rights

Alex Signs voted nay to Resolution 02:- Basic human rights, it comes as a shock but the reason given were simple.

"the Corporate States can not agree to the resolution tho we agree with most of the points, Paragraph 5, 6 and 7 are deemed unacceptable. The Corporate states feels on paragraph 5 can be abused by enemy states and terror suspects. On Paragraph 6 the Corporation feels the use of Biological or Chemical weapons on key military bases would save more lives then it would if a full conventional strike was pulled, the Corporate States on the rare times it uses NBC weapons only use them if it feels it does just that, tho it only uses bio and chem weapons that have a vary shot life span to stop the spread of the weapons. On paragraph 7 the Corporate states feels that allow anyone to leave a nation is unacceptable and a danger to internal security."


As the votes go, 2 for the Resolution, 1 aposed and 1 un-voted the needed vote of The Imperial Hierarchy of Jagonia will be the decideding vote, they have ofcorse until the end of next week to vote.
