Prepare to delve into the deep dark secrets of Otagia's defenses, and marvel at the impenetrability of our Arcologies.... as soon as I finish it. As you might guess, this thread is rather WIP, as Otagia hasn't been completely statted yet (boy, I sure take a long time with this, don't I?). Will be updated EXTREMELY tommorrow, when I have more time.

Arcologies
Arcologies are ultra-massive self-sustaining structures, designed to act as their own cities as well as strongholds of PRA might. The structures are virtually indestructable, barring nuclear attack, and are well fortified against intrusions, with 6 legions of Red Samurai assigned to each one. All the arcologies are roughly identical, following the schemata below. Note that each Arcology is surrounded by suburbs and ordinary buildings, with possibly another two million souls scattered around each Arco.
Height: 700 meters (500 meters above ground, 300 meters below)
Width (at widest point): 900 meters
Width (at narrowest): 300 meters
Floors: 120 (90 above ground, 30 below)
Industrial Floors: 20
Commercial Floors: 5
Residential Floors: 65
Security Floors: 10
Utility Floors: 20
Average Residence Size: 16 square meters per occupant
Residential Capacity: 15,000,000 square meters (937,500 residents)
Power Supply: 3 Nuclear Generators (Fusion or Fission, depending on tech level), solar panelling across skin
Water Supply: Wind traps, local water supplies
Food Supply: Buried aquaculture tanks, buried hydroponics gardens
Defensive Measures: 4 meter reinforced concrete walls, 1000 CIWS and 250 RAM launchers arranged to provide maximum coverage, 20 roof-mounted SAM launchers, various interior defense systems
Red Samurai Allotment: 36,120
Of the seven legions, a single legion is devoted entirely to piloting the multiped tanks used in both police operations and military defenses. Shafts cut through the arco allow the multipeds to navigate the labyrinthine corridors of the building with ease, as well as setting up ambushes and flanking maneuvers. The other legions normally are devoted to police duties, but even then operate at peak readiness, with armor and weapons carried at all times. The Samurai have an intimate knowledge of their arcology, able to strike at any angle at their opponents. The wide array of automated weapons combined with numerous blast doors make the arcologies veritable death traps.
Arcologies of the Mainland
Hera- Located in the Southern Desert, the Hera Arcology is even more well-defended than its siblings. The harsh environment of the desert prevents prolonged seiges, and the arcology is entirely self-sufficient with larger than normal aquaculture and hydroponics vats, as well as being fed by an extremely strong underground river, which also provides a portion of electricity. Hera is also at the center of a huge array of solar collectors, which provide a staggering amount of power to the Southern region of Otagia.
Hephaestos- One of the largest research facilities in Otagia, Hephaestos is home to the PRA Creative Weapons Labs, as well as the birthplace of the Thunderbird and Banshee aircrafts. The mountains around Hephaestos provide it with extra protection, situated as it is in a box canyon. The shape of the arco is different, a pyramid resting upon a cube, with the cube filling the canyon it sits in.
Zeus- Situated on the Enkili River, the Zeus Arcology follows the standard design to the letter, and is the prime manufacturing base of Otagia, as well as the home of the Pale Rider Arms Corporate Headquarters.
Cities of Note
Arbite City- The capital of Otagia, Arbite City is located in the mouth of the extinct volcano Mt. Vares, moved there from Glenmarch twenty years ago. Arbite City was built for the purpose of governance, and, going with standard Corporate mentality, is heavily fortified, with most government offices located below ground, and the rim of the crater dotted with defensive installations, manned variously by the Red Samurai and Otagian Military. Power to the city is provided by a trio of nuclear generators (Fission or Fusion depending on tech level at the time), and water is warmed using geothermal energy.
