Kazara looked into his office before walking in, making sure no one as waiting for him in there. He sighed and walked into the office. He sat down in his white-leather recliner behind his desk. There was a knock on the door and it opened... Kazara looked up to see it was his Colonel of the 5th Marine Corps.
"Sir?" He asked Kazara.
"Yes Colonel Damion?" Kazara replied "What is it?"
Damion stepped into the office and closed the door. "Sir, we have a major problem," Colonel Damion said "We have a major problem here"
Kazara's expression immediately turned from boredom to concern. He leant over the desk and stood up, placing his arms down like supports and laid his hands flat on the desk. "What problem?" He asked "Answer me immediately"
Colonel Damion looked worried "Sir," He said "We have gotten reports of attacks on almost every sector of this Fortified City, but it's not our enemies of war who are attacking us... we don't even know what they are, but they're not human... they're almost as if they're the living dead, or some sort of abomination..."
Kazara stood erect and his face's expression now turned from sincere concern, to pure horror. "What?...." He said "What are you saying?" He demanded questioningly.
Colonel Damion answered immediately "Well sir, the attacks were almost unnoticable when they became massive assaults... these... abominations grew in number quickly, and they're coming from inside and outside of our Empire's walls. We don't know what they are, but all they do is walk slowly, not run, and well, if they catch someone who isn't like them, they either eat them, or bite them, tearing a chunk from them, which later on, they turn into the same thing as the abominations already are..."
Kazara slammed his fist down on his desk so hard, the olished Red Oak Wood desk almost shattered, cracking it right down the middle and from each side, completely to the other.. "DAMNIT! I thought those things were under control!"
"Sir," Colonel Damion said "Wha-"
He was cut off by the door bursting completely open and off it's hinges. Kazara laid his eyes upon the large group of abominations and immediately leapt over the desk, siezed Colonel Damion, and hauled him over the desk with himself, included. He and the Colonel up-turned the desk and used it as a barried. Kazara drawing his Desert Eagle, and Colonel Damion seizing his MP5. They both loaded their weapons and immediately open fired at the abominations, cutting the closet ones down quickly.
"HERE SIR!" Colonel Damion yelled as he flung an MP5 to Kazara. Kazara caught it, loaded it quickly, and open fired into the abominations, also hurling his Desert Eagle into the thick of them, seeming how it had ran out of bullets, seeming how he never carried very many bullets for it, all because he seldomly and rarely ever used it.
"Colonel Damion; we need to get to the armory and ceal the blast doors to it, we can use the radio in there to phone for help!" Kazara yelled over the gun-fire. "We need to go now! Come on, I know another way outta here!-" He cut himself off and stood up, he ran across the room and bashed a door open. "Come on!" He yelled.
Colonel Damion did so immediately. Bashing his way through a 'blockade' of Zombies. He ran down the hallways with Kazara at his side. "I'm with you all the way sir!" He yelled and continued running.
Kazara and Colonel Damion reached another door. "Hold them off, until I can get this damned door open!" Kazara yelled. Damion turned around and began to fire at the narrow, but quickly advancing line of the Mutilized Corpses. Damion reached to his belt and plucked a Grenade from it and hurled it into the thick of them. Kazara had only just opened the door and hauled Damion in and closed the door when the Grenade went off, blowing out nearly the entire hall, and what used to be Kazara's office. Kazara and Damion flew down another hallway and to the Armory.
"Here! The Armory! This has all the weaponry used in our Empire in it, plus it has a radio and a phone!" Kazara yelled. He kicked the door open and Damion ran in. Kazara was just about to run in behind him when he was slammed into the wall by a Zombie. The thing tried to grab onto his arm and pin him there, when it tried to bite Kazara at the same time. Kazara immediately raised his leg, with seemingly lightning speed, and smashed his knees into the Zombies gut. The thing let out a groan and fell over and off of him. He stood up and flung himself onto the Zombie, suddenly slicing his quickly drawn Switchblade into the center of it's forehead.
Kazara stood up and Damion hauled him into the Armory, just as the blast doors immediately shot closed and locked themselves into the floor, walls, and the ceiling. Kazara flung himself over to the phone, pulling Damion with him close behind...
"Here, get your ass on the phone and call for someone's help!" Kazara barked at Damion. Damion immediately seized the phone and sent out a call for help to every Nation that wasn't an Enemy.
Kazara, meanwhile, walked over to his personal array in the Armory. He picked up his AK47 and also his AK74. He put them inside of the bandolier straps he had thrown onto himself. He then pressed a button and the table flipped over, revealing his customized RPK Assault Rifle. He unbuckled it and picked it up, then taking off every clip there was on the table, he put them into his belt. He pressed the button again and the table flipped back over.
"All we can do now is wait, and hope somebody get's the call..." Kazara said to Damion, looking over at him with horror and hope in his eyes...
"Sir?" He asked Kazara.
"Yes Colonel Damion?" Kazara replied "What is it?"
Damion stepped into the office and closed the door. "Sir, we have a major problem," Colonel Damion said "We have a major problem here"
