For over 20 years, the AA-15 Halberd attack aircraft has served the AUAF with distinction. Preforming extremly well in the Kraven War and several minor conflicts, the Halberd's record of never losing a single aircraft to enemy fire still stands. Unfortunatly, the lifespan of the Halberd has come to an end. What is needed now is a replacement aircraft. Since the AUAF's R&D wing is busy devolping a new bomber for the Air Force, we need the international community to fill in the gap.

Here's what is needed:

-PMT Design, FT or MT tech designs will be ignored
-Speeds of up to Mach 3
-Ability to launch from both a carrier and airstrip
-Ability to knock out enemy armor from extreme ranges
-Single Seat preferred
-Armor able to take a 30mm slug
-Variable Geometry
-Large warload capacity
-Ceiling of 60,000 feet
-Secondary Anti-Shipping role
-Large cannon able to destroy armor in several hits

If an aircraft design meeting these requirments is procurred, the reward is currently listed at:

Ok, ill get a designer from Manyan Airframe on it straight away for you if that is ok. It isnt in my department but shouldn't take anymore than a day. I will post a reply here, but what is the name of your nation so i can let Manyan Airframe take down the basic details of the interested party, its just for records.

The new generation of aircraft from Miertech, it gets rid of the old defensive systems and replaces them with new ones. Utilising the VTOL engine from previous models, with slight changes made, this aircraft is very versatile indeed. The GHOSTS allows the aircaft to negate the enemies stealth abilities as much as possible, allowing for easier targetting, while at the same time rendering the aircraft pretty much invisible.

The MAA means that there are a minimum of mechanical parts in the wings, reducing weight and the chance of failure. The PMAS means that any missiles that do get past the decoys that are deployed, have the greatest chance of being dodged at the last moment. The switchblade style wings allow for a variety of roles, though interceptor is the best use for the aircraft.

Although it is an effective design, we are looking for a dedicated attack craft, not a multirole fighter. That particular niche is already filled by the indeginous LMF-3 Draken.

The F-99 is an upgraded version of the F-22 meant to replace the F-15C and F-14 as it is carrier capable. To deal with a threat environment that can include literally thousands of targets the F-99 has an increased missile load as well as increase thrust and length. The stealth of the F-22 is retained in the F-99 which gives it a hefty advantage when engaging non stealthy aircraft and puts it on equal footing with most other stealth fighters. The F-99 features advanced systems and replaces the pulse Doppler radar of the F-22 with the more advanced multipurpose LADAR was well as upgraded EW.

Dosnt Hav a cannon that can nock armour out but if you put the 6 Flare Heavy Missiles on it it will do the same thing.

After much deliberation, the Air Force has come to a conclusion. Since we have developed the HABA-24 Liberator II bomber and procurred a foreign type to serve as our long range arm, a midlife upgrade is being applied to the 500 or so Halbreds in service. The Phoenixius Whisper MRF has been selected to spearhead the AA-15 Halberds BLOCK IIs and the $100 billion prize has been awarded to them. Included in the prize is an order for 200 of the aircraft. Thank you to all other nations who participated, this contract is closed

We here at MierTech are glad that you have chosen us to supply your air force. If you wish us to install a 30mm gun instead of our shock guns, then we can do that. For this design we used our shock guns as they were as effective as bullets, but they required only power and no bullets (unlimited ammo effectively) and were instantaneous hit weapons. Either way, we shall ship the aircraft to you immediatley.
