To all nations of the world:
After the Catagory 5 Storm Hurricane Gordon, one of the fiercest in years, has finished it's deadly rampage. An unknown thousands are dead.

The situation in Honu is bad. However Hundreds of Thousands of innocent Thergoians could be trapped in a terrible storm. WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM. These are INNOCENT CIVILANS that had NO WORD in Thergo's decision to invade Honu. And you are GONIG TO LET THEM DIE! I don't know what kind of man is sitting behind the executive chair but why do you make this decision.

While we strongly object to what we see as the subjugation of Honu, we will aid Thergo as well. Parliament has voted to send $30 Billion (US) to the government of Thergo to help it rebuild.

the Empire of Nebarri Prime does not send aid to anyone in a nation that is our "enemy" unless they are willing to pay our nation back twice what is sent is worth. your nation is lucky I do not wish to take your island(s) over

Hyporctical...is the only words that describe how Nebarri Prime is responding to Thergo's attempt to keep Honu. We had the best intrests in mind. Honu would stand no chance with a struggling economy and a goverment filled with corruption. You are complaing about us trying to make sure Honu is able to be sucsesful by subduing the rebellion. But YOU kind sir have the habit of overthrowing a nation that bothers you.

Furthermore. Why would Nebarri Prime care so much for Honuans who we were actually HELPNIG by not letting them free, but care not about Thergoians who are dying under piles of rubble.

(OOC: I find this absolutely horrific considering the condition the Gulf Coast is in. I live in the Florida Panhandle, directly where Hurricane Ivan and Dennis hit. Just today I found out we have yet another tropical storm that could threaten the Gulf Coast; and you create a thread involving one? People died around this area simply because they couldn't get out of their house and the military refused to come and help them get out.

I think it is in extremely bad taste that any hurricane threads be done at all after what happened in New Orleans. Two of my best friends classmates died in the storm surge from it. She used to live between there houses. If she hadn't of moved here, she would be dead. Yes, innocent civilians have died in these - real ones.)

Did you ever stop to think why so many people have genocide threads? Jesus, get off your horse, man. People will always roleplay about contemporary and historical events. And personally I have a few reservations as to why persons would build a city below sea level. -shrug- Yes, I'm a Conservative. Why do you ask?

our Empire is very well suited for what we have in mind for Honu, with our help they could become more powerful then they could ever become with Thergo telling them what to do. we care not for dying Thergoians because they have let the man(or men or woman or whatever it is you have in command) who would stop Honu from leaving your nation, and yes I do have a habit of overthrowing a nation that bothers me.

See that's the thing. Thergoian citizens who are DYING as we speak had no say in Thergo's decison. During Thergo's last election Alcamendois lied about what he was going to do with Honu. He has a powerful Parliment backing so impeachment is an impossiblity, and the ministers were personally chosen by the Prime Minister. The offical writing this plead for aid does NOT support the current goverment, but what do the citizens have to do with that, and that during this desperate crisis, you let them suffer.

The internation community: The transgressions of the Prime Minister and his followers in the Labour party are NO EXCUSE to let civilans die. So I please ask for aide despite what stance you may have on Honu.

Offical Religious Imperium Statement

The Religious Imperium has no knowledge of your current or past affairs with Honu, nor do we care. It is not our job to play judge in that situtation and refuse to help the innocent: thus making the majority suffer because of the minority. We will send aid to Thergo and in whatever form you need it.

Should you require policing we can dispatch a divison or more of Crusaders who have special training in the art of policing a disorganized and fearful population. Should you require monetary assistance, we can transfer around two-hundred billion icons (Icons are now at a fixed rate of 2 USDs = 1 Icon). Should you require engineering needs, we can dispatch several engineer battalions to help.

Whatever you need, we will provide to the best of our abilities.

Respectfully,
Minister Robert Broughton

The Senate was in complete awe of what it was seeing. Large buildings were being ripped down by the 265 mph winds and the entire coast of Thergo was in disarray. Seeing the mass destruction caused by this hurricane the government had to aide Thergo.

~Official Response from Government~

Bravendore is greatly saddened by this terrible natural disaster occurring this moment on Thergo. We feel that it will take years for THergo to fully recover from such a terrible disaster. However, we cannot sit down and mourn now as the many survivors of the hurricane are cut off from aid and must be helped. Therefore, the Senate has approved a donation of 50 billion USD to be sent to Thergo for the efforts to rebuild Thergo. As well humanitarian aid will be flown and shipped in by Bravendore ships as soon as the Hurricane winds have died down and it is safe for naval and air travel. Until then we give our greatest condolences to the nations of Thergo and Honu and wish them our very best in the rebuilding from this natural disaster.

We need a police force. Thergonese Military Police is trained only in Riot Control and leathal force. And local law is too scattered. Engineering aide would be apprecated for the design of better evacuation routes and modernization of Honu's buildings [Thergo's were upgraded with top-of-the-line technology. Honu local goverment refused this renivation.]

We take a breif moment of silence for Victor Krum. A hero in the sports universe donated millions of his money to cherity while leading Thergo to overwhelming wins in European circits. He was to play at World Cup 26 and his death puts the team in a difficult postion. He died during the recent hurricane in Thergo.

Offical Religious Imperium Statement

Very well then. We will dispatch say three divisons of Crusaders. These divisons have fifty-thousand men each, putting the grand total at one-hundred and fifty thousand. They will come in policing gear, so as to not make your people believe they have been conquorered. At the moment, we do not know how your people feel about religion, but to ensure our assistance you must be warned that our troops will have religious symbols such as crosses, for example. They will come into contact with your people and may even attempt to lead some of your people to their beliefs. Should religion be banned in your country, it would be best if we only dropped in food so as to not bring the Truth to your people.

Though should religion be freely practiced, then we will not only bring food and engineers but Bibles, Korans, and other holy books to spread amoungst your people. It is our goal and purpose to bring God whereever we go, and that includes relief efforts. My apologies if this comes into conflict with your beliefs, but this is how we operate and it will not be circumvented to fit a situtation.

Minister Robert Broughton

Religion is leagal. And is mostly Catholic and Christian. A very small group of about 1563 Muslims live in the El Kamera district in Eassu, so we ask you only drop supplies to that district.

And the very small Jewish minority *lauging* If you come in contact with them they'll just probably point at the cross logo with an angry face, say something rude in a language your soldier can't understand and march off in a difanet way. Trust me. I, as Govener-General, have been in contact with them many times.

Offical Religious Imperium Statement

Our Religious Imperium is more tolerate than one would expect. While the majority of our people (56%) are Christian, the second largest is Moslem (32%) and even a large Jewish population. Since you have a dominately Moslem district, we will send a detachment of four thousand Jihadists (our mechanized troops to be honest) in police gear. They may not police as well as the Crusaders since they are more fast paced, but they can threw common religion assist that Moslem district. As for the Jews, we have no problem with them saying what they want, so long as they stay within your law and do not threaten our men.

With all that being said, we will immiedatley begin to dispatch the aforementioned resources.

[OOC: I was going to go realistic and RP my stockpiling and such, but if you want to skip all that unnessecary stuff, thats also good.]

Jack Erwin, a leuitenant colonel in charge of a battalion of Crusaders. They were on one of the countless transport ships that were heading towards a only recently discovered nation of Thergo. The Religious Imperium had promised to assist this unknown nation upon its near destruction by a hurrcaine. Now, he and his men were an advanced team of troops sent to what was known as Devil's Isle. The very name of the place sent a shiver down some of the more fundamental troop's spines, though most of the men didn't care. His battalion was sent ahead of the main body of soldiers, most of whom were landing on the mainland, while his troops were being sent to this Isle to evacuate all its inhabitants, via the Thergoian government requests.

Several troop transports slammed up onto the once quietly beach. The inhabits of this island watched from above has dozens of men in dirty-white uniforms with red crosses over their left breast part of their uniform, storm onto the beaches and up onto the actual land. The people, at first, retreated in fear. Though immiedately the troops, who had been taught basic Thergoese, began to inform the people threw interruptors or basic communication that they were there to help. Quickly the battalion of seven-hundred troops had control over at least half of the island, and the rest was willingly falling to it. For policing duties, this may be three-hundred men short of what would be needed, though for the operation of evacuation only seven-hundred would be needed. Even with their dirty-white uniforms, the Crusaders looked like troops due to the Hali-21 Assault Rifles that they carried on their shoulders.

Quickly food and medical assistance was brought on shore from supply transports has makeshift hospitals assested the wounded and sick, while kitchens were rapidly constructed all across the island and food given out to the people. The troops were on their best behavior, save some cussing on their part due to getting annoyed at some of the natives and ther refusal to comply with some orders. For the most part, this was a successful operation.

Within two hours the situtation was calm and the people were being fed and healed so that they could then bee evacuated off the island and onto the mainland.

Word was sent to Ricker's Brigade at Saint Lucas to prepare for an additional 1,324 refugees. After four hours of helping the people, they were loaded onto surplus troop transports and were then on their way to Saint Lucas. All inhabitants onborad and behind them a destroyed and desolate island.

Major Clarence Jambor could see what was left of the city from miles away. It only got worse as his transport neared.

"Moses..." the officer said in a shocked tone. Next to him, he heard Captain Peter Rosen say quietly "Alevai omayn, how can this have happened?" Jambor did not entirely understand the Jewish captain, but he knew both their sad words meant about the same thing. Neither was a stranger to death and devastation: both had fought at the Battle of Kurzan years ago, where Rosen had almost needed to have a leg amputated. But this was different.

"All units prepare to disembark." Colonel Fra said over the loud speaker.

Minutes later they began to unload. Because of his relatively high rank, Jambor was one of the first off. On the ground things looked worse.

He pushed the thought aside. He was here to keep more death from happening. He approached the Thergo officers awaiting him and his unit.

"This Way" Major Peter Sorvona said. "I'm in charge of the Thergonese police and my orders are to apply to the Moses Land forces unless their highest ranking officer here says otherwise. Now, we haven't much time"

[http://www.westminsterpartyboats.com/tours/glass-building.jpg - That is a pic of the building pre hurricane]

"You can see that building up ahead. It's the Swansea suites, all the glass is mostly shattered and some 80 people are inside. We need to send a crew of soldiers along with a firefighting squad, it is expected small fires ignited inside that building. Also, the Oil Tanker Reserection is stuck at sea. We will supply 4 UH-60s and we need your best men to go out and rescue the crew at which time we will do the best we can to clear out the oil spills. After this is done meat me back here."

In the backround Humvees and a couple APCs could be seen patroling the city. A light attack copter flew overhead. There was no sign of civilan veichils except a news helicopter that was flying near the resort. Here, new the shore, the water could be waist deep.

"Lets go!"

With those words, Jambor's team rushed into the building. The hellish conditions wanted to make the team faint.

Indeed, some of the trapped people already had. Most remained conscious though.

Jambor reached the third floor. Behind debris lay a man. He wasn’t moving.

Jambor reached in, grabbing him. The Military policeman could feel something hard hit his helmet. He looked up: the roof was collapsing.

Fear tried to grip him. Jambor attempted to shove it away. Easier said then done.

Carrying the unconscious (Jambor prayed he was only unconscious) man over his shoulders, he leapt down the stairs. He was on the second floor. The roof was still falling slowly. Fire was everywhere. Jambor spotted two of his men, one also carrying someone, the other trying to douse the fire that seemed to chase them.

Jambor ran don the stairs. Fire covered the steeps. Jambor had no choice: run through it. He tried to turn off the pain. He had met a soldier who claimed it could be done when it hurt too much.

Who ever said that was a damned liar. Jambor thought as the fire clung to him. Who ever said this uniform was fire proof was a damn liar to. I can't wait to find him, put him in this very gear, and light him up.

After what seemed like an eternity, he got down the stairs. Another military policeman was waiting at the ground floor. He used an extinguisher to put the flames out. Yet Jambor could still feel them. That guy who said you never stop feeling the fire? First honest man ever. I won't light him up.

Finally, Jambor got out. He set the man he had forgotten he was carrying down genteelly. Then he collapsed.

General Davis got out of the tank. Godam mines he spat. He was looking at 2 tanks burning down the road.

Sir, a small corporal handed him a phone. Yes? What is it major?

Major williams sat low, behind a stone wall, taking impressive amounts of Ak-47 fire. General we need at least 2 companies down here. Bring in some Goddam air support too for god's sake! But it was too late. A mortar shell landed right on his head, effectivly killing him, and the 2 privates around him.

General Davis examined a large map of Honu. Sir said colnel McKenry, the 4th infantry divison on Thergo is doing fine, peacekeeping, stopping crime- but, Davis cut him off, those high brass bastards left us here, to deal with these damned rebels. Suggestions gentelmen? A man raised his long, dark arm. sir, I suggest, we attack all millitary strongpoints by air, and generally push forward with our armor, supported by artillery of course. Davis thought. yea ok, Jim, do that. Some one bring me some Godam coffee!

Private miller walked slowly, with his pal Ahmet. Ahmet, what the hell are we doing in Honu? I wanna go back to New Ausha, and play some B-Ball replyed ahmet. What's the point? thought Miller. the troops on the mainland were doing fine, but already, the 16th infantry division had taken 380 casualties. They had also lost 16 tanks, and an f-16 falcon. Why couldn't they just have sent the 3rd core to thergo, wait for 3 weeks, then get the hell home. i mean miller said to ahmet, were waiting for the thergoneese to tell us to leave. Ahmet looked at his boots as he kicked up dust. Too damn bad andiers was voted out by his party, ya know, comin here and all. Miller looked up at the sun. I wanna go home he thought.
