Consul Rivyth Shnell of the Devout Catholic Stratocracy of Forthox has publicly proclaimed New Fuglies to be annexed into a newly formed empire inhabiting the region of Rome.

Details of the breakpace takeover are sparse, and it is unclear what has happened to the previous government and military leadership of New Fuglies (OOC: New Fuglies left and gave his account up for grabs). Foul play through violence and bribery is suspected.

The Stratocracy has established an interim province government in New Fuglies and is implementing Roman policies. The land is currently unstable as rebel factions have sprung up and the New Fuglies previous military and police force has been effectively dissolved. Forthox has begun a massive military buildup within New Fuglies and is engaging in urban warfare with the resistance. A Counsel of Inquisition has been created to root out instigators of the violence.

The Forthoxian Empire now includes 4.733 billion inhabitants.

Consul Rivyth Shnell of the glorious Forthox Senate has decreed the New Fuglies border to be locked down and all trade and transportation to the province halted. New Fuglies' air zone is restricted to Forthoxian traffic. New Fuglies' ports are restricted to Forthoxian traffic as navy vessels are moved in.

All previous contracts and diplomatic dealings concerning New Fuglies' former government are to be considered null and void. The Forthox Senate calls upon its international neighbors to recognize the newly established interim government of New Fuglies under Forthoxian control.
