Two Sicilies or the Kingdom of Naples has been in exsistance in this form for nearly 900 years with only four exceptions. Through this time the country has grown rich, mostly through trade and shipping. It's nobility and upper class citizens enjoy a rich life style mostly dependant on foriegn trade.
The kings and dukes of Two Sicilies have enjoyed centuries of peace and prosper. Led by King Ferdinand II and the Catholic church, most people assume that Sicily will only continue to grow. For military power, it mostly have never been needed becuase of the space between the Papacy and Naples' enemies. With shipping however comes pirates, and the Neopolitan navy is quite strong and often on alert.

OOC- Quite good, navy might be a bit large though, but I know very little on the subject.
IC- Good afternoon, lately Europe has been through very unstabble times, Prussian land grabbing and so forth. So the HRE would like to offer the hand of friendship with a marriage alliance. The house of Bavaria offers it's gorgeous Princess Whillamenhia to any prince of your royal line. As her dowry we offer the 44 Gunned frigate Fin of God and 150,000 Crona from the Bavarian treasury. We hope your answer shall bring about a happy a bright future.
His Most Gracious Imperial Majesty Francis Von Lorraine I
OOC- I'd like to punch my self after that last line, but what i'm really asking is if you will go to war with France on the Catholic's side if we skip the niceties.

We are ingraciated by your offer but unfortunately we must refuse. The political climate in Europe at the moment signles us that we not quicken to make enemies from our friends. An alliance cannot be created less we loss income from the countries we allienate by creating this alliance with the HRE.
At the moment a war is far beyond our capabilities, but in the intreasts of making money our navy and army is open to be bought as a mercenary force. If this proposition intreasts you or any other member of the world contact us and we shall discuss payment and tactics.

His Majesty King Ferdinand II

Your proposition does indeed intreast us. For an invasion of Corsica we would like to hire 10,000 marines, 5 ships of the line 7 frigates and enough transports for the men and about 20 cannons, and maybe 500 horses. Perhaps 6,000,000 Crona would purchase these items. Please contact us with your acceptance or denial.

No, let us not decide how Neopolitan men are to be bought and sold let us instead say that for 15,000,000 Crona we shall deliver the island of Corsica to you. You are not required but generally you provide a high commander and our officers handle the rest of the minor details, but these things are interchangable.

We greet your Majesty!
As you might know, we are curently holding Lombardy, but, as always, the French had to interfer in our buisneses and coused a all-european war. We are curently fighting the French in a great battle, but we would like to hire your navy to fight of their ships, wich are sailing around Venice!
We would like to hire 10 ships of the line and 15 frigates, all you have to do is name the price...
We are looking forward for your answer!

Yes your Grace, of course we are willing to help, but we can not give you the number of ships you ask for. We can easily supply the Frigates but between the attack on Corsica and deep-sea pirates we can only supply 7 Ships-of-the-line. As we can not meet your demands will shall give you a discount and you are a friendly nation.
Total Price: 10,000,000 Ducets (I think that's your currency at this time) or if it makes it easier 11,000,000 Crona as I understand the HRE has made a generous donation to Austria of 12,000,000 Crona so...
If bought fleet would be like this:
Flagship 80 guns
3 ships-76 guns
3 ships-64 guns
Frigates
5 Ships-44 gunned
4 Ships-36 gunned
4 Ships- 28 Gunned
2 Ships- 24 Gunned
If this does not fit Austrian approval contact us and we shall make changes however these are the best Ships-of-The-Line We have at the moment so these are impossible to change.

We agree with your proposal. Now we want you to attack the French ships at venice, you will outnumber them so this will not be a hard task. The emisary that brought this message also brought Austrian flags, we suggest that you hang them on your ships, so this will not cause war with France.
We are most pleased by the cooperation of our nations.

As you no doubt have heard war with France has been averted, therefore your fleet would be uneeded unless you somehow would consent to moving it to the Baltic sea for an invasion of Sweden. We did afterall pay a high amount for your services and i'm sure your abillities would be needed in the Baltic.

Indeed the Neopolotin fleet would greatly enjoy the oppertunity for profits in the Baltic and will send it's fleet. There are however obligations to be kept, we demand 30% of profits made from siezing ships in the Baltic. That is your plan, to make money and we want part of it. We are well disposed to what was the Catholic alliance and will put what was once under Austrian command to the Baltic. As it is obvious you have no other choice in this matter the ships will sail immediatly for Sweden.
Signed:
His Majesty Ferdinand II
Great Britain will not tolerate ships hostile to Sweden moving through the Channel. Any ships that attempt to do so will be destroyed or seized.
His Majesty King George III
OOC: If you want to get to the Baltic, passing through the Channel is almost a certainty, unless you want to brave the dangerous North Atlantic and pass around Britain.

To: His Majesty King George III of Great Britain
We are amazed of your intelligence sources who seem to be able to predict military moves that we are not even making. No Neopolitan navy will be entering the Channel nor have we any plans for a Neopolitan navy to move through the Channel. Although we find your allegiances admirable.
Signed:
King Ferdinand II
OOC- It is amazing how you do figure out where my navy is going. Also the Ships will be flying HRE flags and since I assume you want peace you won't attack german ships without having a bloodbath for your country. So in essence it's a German fleet recently returning from giving candy to poor children. Besides that the HRE is one of your greatest allies on the continent.
OOC: I see no Secret IC label....
IC:
To His Majesty King Ferdinand II,
It is merely a precaution. We have it under good intelligence that an invasion of Sweden is imminent and that the Holy Roman Empire may be hiring ships to assist them in this endeavor.
King Goerge III
OOC:The HRE my ally? Since when? Historically, the HRE didn't really still exist except as a formal title for the squabbling German states at this time in hitory (mid to late 18th century). If I am incorrect, please don't hesitate to correct me. Besides, I don't think you guys can outpace the "Wooden Walls"
