War Amongst The Clearing
A total number of 780,000 Soldiers began to prepare themselves. Arming themselves with vz58's, AK47's, AK74's, and MP5's. They all got into their battle uniforms and armor and all of them filled into Transports.
MEANWHILE...
Kazara smiled as he entered his Private room. He walked over to his locker and opened it. He armed himself to the max with weapons. His Sword, daggers, and his guns. He put on his battle armor and then reached into the back of the locker, pulling out his most prized weapon, his custom made RPK Assault Rifle. The really long barrel could easily make the gun be mistaken for a Sniper Rifle, although the barrel was longer than that even. The 'Banana' clip could hold a Maximum amount of 785 rounds in one clip, not because the rounds were small, but because the clip was looooong. He clicked the clip into the gun and went to his Transport.
Planet: Estafaren
The Transports touched down on a vast, wide and open area. All the 780,000 Soldiers began to run out of the transports and form a defensive perimeter. He could hear the utter screams, whistles, and yells from the enemy getting closer, and hoped that someone else would arrive here was willing to help him in this battle. He knew that the enemy he was about to fight had more Soldiers than he did, but he knew that his were more experienced, and better trained.
That's when the entire area went silent, even the distinct sounds of nature had shut them selves up to match the eerie silence. Then the first shot was fired, and one of Kazara's men went down, bleeding from the left leg and the right side of his chest. Kazara blew a whistle and barked out orders to the Soldiers. "Return fire! Let's go! Move!- Move!- Move!- Let's get a move on it boys!" The Soldiers understood and began to open fire upon the enemy, who was in the trees not very far away, and also in the clearings and trenches that had been dug out not so far away, but all the way around the area. Heavy Machine gun fire came from Helicopters, that Kazara had sent for, came zipping overhead and fired into the enemy ranks.
Kazara knelt and raised his rifle, and open fired into a small group of enemy soldiers, clad in tan military uniforms, advanced on the Base Camp. Kazara's RPK Assault Rifle cut down the group of the enemy soldiers almost instantly, seeming how his rifle also fired faster than any average assault rifle or machine gun. He could hear Helicopters nearing, but knew that it wasn't his nor the enemy's Helicopters coming closer.
Captain McKenna was hoping that this would just be a regular day. Routine patrols, then back to base for some R&R.
But, it wasn't to be.
As his Comanche HCGS came over the rise, he was treated to the sight of hundreds of thousands of combatants in the process of killing each other. It appeared that two opposing forces were battling for the control of the valley below. At the rate they were destroying it, there wouldn't be much of it left to occupy.
" Lieutenant, advise HQ that we have a situation in sector 44-a1. Let them know that we're going in for a closer look, and will not engage either of the combatants unless fired upon."
"Aye sir."
As the Comanche hurtled towards the battle, he could see more clearly that the invaders were outnumbered, but had superior fire-power. They were mowing down the natives like a scythe cut down wheat. His twin 35mm Gatling guns would have little effect here. Time to head back to base.
At that instant, a Stinger was let loose at them.
" Evasive, evasive, let's get the hell out of here!"
The stinger shot by so close that he could almost feel the heat of it's passing. That was close, he thought....too close....
Almost as quickly as the Stinger had come whizzing past them, so did a small Batallion of Fighter and Bomber Jets came zipping past the Helicopter, barely missing it just like the Stinger. Bombs were dropped and and Machine guns blazed upon the enemy. Kazara looked up at the Helicopter, and quickly ran inside of the tent, siezed his radio phone, and 'commed' the Chopper. "This is Kazara, Battallion 008976-TE3527 Leader, Do you copy? Are you guys alright?!" He asked.

sorry? excuse me?
physics paradox...
you have an assault rifle, with a long barrel and a CLIP with 785 rounds
first off a clip is just that, a clip, it's a metal holder for bullets that allows someone to quickly insert multiple bullets into the loading system of the gun. I find it hard to imagine a clip which can hold 785 rounds which are meant for an assault rifle
you must mean a magazine or a chain of rounds like in a machine gun, this gun would most likely need a chain of rounds stored in a big box strapped to the side like a protable machine gun
Secondly.. assault rifles have a high fire rate, they are meant to fire several bullets at a time one very quickly after the other so the user can aim and hit a target up to 200 metres away as quickly as possible
in order to increase the fire rate, all gas (from the explosive charge) must be discharged from the barrel as quickly as possible so the next round can be fired without having to resist the gas released by the last bullet, this means a shorter barrel or a higher yield explosive to allow the next bullet to force it's way through the excess gas of the last bullet. Or perhaps even some mechanism to get rid of excess gas just before the next bullet is fired.
there is also the issue of the bullet needing more propellant to allow a high pressure throughout the entire barrel whilst firing. and the issues of a high amount of high yield explosive in an automatic weapon with what may be a delicate loading mechanism
I think you should change your terminology to some kind of cross between a heavy assault rifle like this,
http://world.guns.ru/assault/as72-e.htm
and a long range (long barrelled) sniper rifle like a barret
http://world.guns.ru/sniper/sn03-e.htm
with some sacrifice to the fire rate, the m16 has a barrel length of 500 mms and the barret has a barrel length of 737 mms and a slightly lower muzzle velocity. I think your assault rifle would need a light ammunition like the m16, but a noticeably slower fire rate 300 rounds per minute or something.
OOC: Okay, first of all, it's a customized Assault Rifle, that I made up in the ways it is, so, I say it works how it works, alright? I know you're just trying to help, but, to be honest, and not rude, I hate it when other people try to make me improve or change things that I want the way I have them...
(OOC: So long as you know that a human being wielding it in battle is almost certain to get killed very quickly and extremely unlikely to kill anybody else, you can indeed do whatever the heck you like. Of course, the magazine will probably be pushing twice the length of a man's height, not to mention how much it'll weigh nor how much the weight and balance of the weapon will change during firing or how horribly the performance will degrade if it's put to the sort of sustained fire use that would make the magazine any kind of asset anyway. But, yeah, carry on, I suppose, it's your RP.)

Capt. McKenna was a bit too preoccupied to answer the battalion leader. Despite the Ugarian support, McKenna's HCGS was under attack, and he had to get it out of there and back to base.
"McKenna to FireBase 12, we are under heavy attack, enemy not identified. Ugarian forces trying to help, but taking a beating. Invaders are slowly pushing their way up the valley. Request reinforcements."
"Comanche 59A, be advised, we are scrambling Rattlesnakes and King Cobras to your coordinates. Advise Ugarians to take cover. Carpet bombing/strafing will commence 9 minutes."
" Copied, FireBase. Transmitting message to Ugarian commander."
"OK, gentlemen, let's get the hell outta here."

OOC Alright the measure of this gun's realitcness is in fact very real. They have sniper rifles with fully automatic and 3 round burst setting and no the M-16 does not sacrifice firing rate at all. The original M-16A1 had a fully automatic setting similar to the AK-47 however because studies showed that only one round out of every 30 rounds found their mark on an automatic assault rifle. Thats why they came out with the susequent M-16A2, A3, and A4 and our government is currently in the process of switching out some of the M-16s for M-4s. Now his magazine may be a little unrealistic I will admit that but that is all and it may be a drum which means he just might not like most people know the difference between weapon ammunition carriers.
OOC: He's right, I don't understand the ammunition carriers, lol, although, now because he 'educated' me on it. lol, I go to school with Dratheria. heheh, anyways.

Kazara immediately turned and ran into the Command Tent and picked up the intercom, "Alright, get that Chopper the hell outta here! We're suppressing the area and we're securing clearance! GO NOW WHILE YOU HAVE THE CHANCE!" He turned and ran out of the tent and fired his Assault Rifle into a small group of enemy soldiers, firing into their ranks continuously, decimating them with ease.
The squadron of King Cobra fighter-bombers was being flanked by a squadron of Rattlesnakes and a squadron of Copperheads, 36 fighters en route to the valley where the invaders were ripping the natives to pieces.
The Cobras were loaded with a total of 750 pounds of the new incendiary bombs, naphalus-A1H, nicknamed "The Fires of Hell". They had the flammable capacity roughly 25 times the potency of the old napalm formula.
" Commander, enemy HCGS's in sight. About 6 of 'em."
" OK , lieutenant, take 'em out."
" Gentlemen, you heard the boss. Target and fire at will."
The helicopter gunships of the invading forces disappeared in an near-simultaneous explosion that was felt on the ground. The Tomahawk and Velocet missiles found their marks unerringly, and cleared the way for the Cobras to do their thing.
Their thing was horrifying to behold.
Within 15 seconds of the Cobras dropping their loads, the valley floor was turned into an inferno. Hundreds of thousands of soldiers died within a few deconds, the majority of the rest died within hours from the flesh-consuming burns of the naphalus.
The lieutenant hoped the good guys got out of there in time.
" Mission accomplished, sir. I don't think much more than 2 or 3 % of the invading forces are left. Inform the battalion leaders that they may begin mop-up at any time."
" Good job, gentlemen," the commander replied. " Head back to base."
"Aye, sir."

Seeming how they had heard the incoming airsupport, they had in fact taken cover, although some of them, although several thousands, were unfortunate. Now that the, almost entire, valley was ablaze, the rest of the soldiers began to spread out, in search of new areas to take over and build a few camps and Bases.
Kazara lay quite still, under some scorched tent remains, along with the rest of a helicopter blade, jammed straight through and into the ground, which, luckily, was right next to his head, instead of through it. He groaned in pain as he tried to move his left leg, but found a piece of shrapnel impaled into his knee, so now all he could do was hope that someone would find and help him... before he bled to death or died from the pain.
That's when a group of Kazara's soldiers had found him. They began to lift the remains off him and then they lifted him up off the ground, and carried him to a medical chopper that was landing right behind them. They carefully set him on it and one of them gave him a light pat on his shoulder. Smiling, the soldiers left and then carried on with their duties.
The chopper lifted off moments later, although it wasn't taking him back to the Main Base, within the Nation of Ugoria, it took him to the newly established Medical Outpost, being surrounded by Tanks, Howitzers, and other Heavy Artillery and Armor emplacements.
It landed on a large, but tight fit helipad and a group of Soldiers immediately lifted the wounded off the chopper and carried them into the 'Hospital' Tent.
Setting them down on the beds, the doctors and medics came rushing in, immediately beginning their operations and 'this is not a drill' routines...
Kazara lay still, yet in pain, as the medics began to operate on his knee...
Several moments, but seemingly hours later...
Kazara awoke, only he wasn't in the 'Hospital' Tent anymore, he was in the Commander's Barracks. He sat up, and surprisingly, he felt no pain in his leg anymore. He grinned and stood up, noticing his rifle was on a table not to far off. He walked over and picked up the Assault Rifle, and grinning, he hugged it close, glad to know he hadn't lost his most favourite and most desired weapon. Then, with a terrifying, badass, look on his face, he walked out of the Commander's Barracks, immediately, although unexpectedly, surrounded by very heavily armed, Elite Marines.
He was escorted to a very large Chinook Transport chopper and boarded it, along with the 30 or so, Elite Marines. They each took their seats as Kazara walked down towards the Cock-pit. He leaned in and looked at the pilots, "Let's go" He said sternly "Let's go give these bastards a taste of the medicine they've always refused to take!" And with that, the chopper lifted off, and flew back to the battle grounds.
Kazara looked back at the base before it was out of sight, and quickly notice at least 78 to 84 more Chinook Transports, all filled with Marines to the maximum capacity. He grinned turned back around, then sat down on a seat.
Ten minutes later; back on the battle grounds...
Kazara's chopper landed and immediately, he and the Elite Marines got up from their seats, crouched low, and exited the chopper. Soon, the other choppers landed, all the Marines doing basically the same thing. Kazara led his Elite Marines towards a heavily forested path, knowing it would be hard-going, but knew that he and his Elite, would have no trouble. Kazara being in the lead, he was the first to fire his Assault Rifle at the enemy. There on out, the rest of the Marines followed suite, and began to open fire at any enemy soldier within firing range...
