OCC: To help other nations have an idea of what my nation is like since I don't have a factbook.

There are 7 states in my nation and they are they ones fighting each other. However even though there are only 7, if you want to create your own fraction and try to win control of the government you can do that or you can fight an unofficial or official war with someone us or you can support one of the states. They're lots of options to choose from besides the ones I listed. Of the 7 states I'm going to role-play the state of United Earth. I leave the other open for people to role-play as and if no one role-plays any of them I'll take over them.

UPDATE: Forget to add this: My nation is shaped like Australia, expect that I renamed the states. In place of New South Wales-United Earth, Victoria stays the same, Queensland becomes Ontario, South Australia becomes Washington, Northern Territory becomes Vespasian, Western Australia becomes Prussia, and finally Tasmania becomes England. Same landmass-just the climate is different. So hopefully this should help give you an idea what states border who, how many sq mi they are, so on. Thanks to The Helghan Empire we have a map. IC: After a week of riots in United Earth and Ontario over the death of Joe Carney, a member of the house of Paraliament representing the state of United Earth, who was killed by a fellow member of Parliament representing the state of Ontario.

To control these riots, the federal government declared martial law for all citizens.

Message from the government of Ontario: For too long has the state of United Earth acted like the federal government and ignored the other states and the rights of their fellow citizens. We the citizens of Ontario and England will no longer tolerate the state of United Earth to turn out once great nation into a Corporate Police State and as such we have declared our independence and attacked the ruthless Government of United Earth.

News Announcement From United Earthlings: It saddens us all to say that at 9:00 a.m. yesterday the Rogue states of Ontario and England attacked the Executive building killing all inside including the Governor-General, Vice Governor-General, and their staffs.

Any nation that supports us in returning our nation to whole will be remember for their help and repaid in kind, any nation that supports any states opposing the reunification of our great nation we shall not forget nor forgive their treachery.

A week to month later- following the secession of Ontario and England from the Union of United Earthlings over following days and weeks the remaining states of United Earthlings did the same. Victoria seceded on January 10th, with Prussia on January 11th, Vespasian on January 13th, and finally Washington on January 26th.

A dark time has descended over our once great nation.

OCC: Well the only faction right now I have is the one of United Earth which is a mix between socialism and fascism.

I left the other states empty so if people wanted to role-play that faction that could and they could have whatever idealogical they wanted it. Only if no one ever wants to play any other faction then I start to role-play them myself but I'm hoping it doesn't come to that.

All the others are empty (expect the faction of United Earth) so you can choose and make it whatever you want. Their are 6 factions each one being a state, but you can also create your own inside a state. This is an open role-play.

The Premier and many Communist Party members saluted as 2 advisors Shang Jiang Yili Wei, and Da Xiao Soong Chu-yu along with their personal staff and bodyguards boarded a stealth plane to avoid radar detection on their way to Victoria. They will supervise military movement and defenses in a newly endorsed nation. A written report is expected when they arrive that will request needed equipment, troops, and supplies.

For to long a fascist society and plagued the people, we officially declare our independence, in response to the poor centralized government that has been planned. We feel a new order is needed in order to benefit the people here in Victoria.

The night began in Helghan, and the usual raining at these times became worse. Outside the Helghan Headquarters, Scolar Visari - Supreme Leader of The Helghan Empire - stood outside it's walls. His twenty Helghast Bodygaurds were present, but were not close to him. He wanted to be alone this time, but he allowed them to stay near.
He was dressed in a large black coat over his Supreme Leader uniform. The black trenchcoat had the Helghast insignia on the left breast of the coat. We was expecting someone.
Six minutes later, 3 Helghast APCs rolled across the pavement. They stopped near Visari. One APC's rear side opened up - three Helghast Bodygaurds walked out, then a man walked out. General Lente - Supreme Leader of The Helghan Army. Seven more Bodygaurds came out. But Lente stopped all of his Bodygaurds - with a hand gesture - wich preveted them from following him.
He walked up to Visari, they both shook hands, and hugged with opposite shoulders. "So happy that you could make it, General," Visari said.
"I always have time to meet with you. What have you arranged on this evening?"
"Walk with me."
Lente and Visari passed through the walls, their bodygaurds followed behind. They walked up to the Headquarters entrance and inside.
Later, they walked into Visari's office, the Bodygaurds waited outside. Scolar Visari sat at his desk, and Lente sat in front of the desk.
"You remember our little alliance with United Earthlings - the Defensive Alliance?" The Supreme Leader asked.
Lente thought for a minute, and finally answered, "Ah, yes. I presume this is the topic?"
"One-hundred percent correct, my friend. The United Earthlings's united factions have descended into chaos. Their state, Ontario, was more, or less, the one behind this mess. They gained independence from the United Earthlings and have attacked them. Other united states followed behind. A Civil War has begun because United Earth wants to reunite the states, but the uprisings oppose.
"This is where we come in: Our Defensive Alliance will be severly harmed if the Government of United Earth collapses to the other factions. I sent a transmission to them a while ago, saying that we will be helping United Earth reunite the states. But because of our Defensive Alliance together, and all factions are still citizens of United Earthlings, we can't attack the opposition - especially civilians. To help the reunite them, I am asking you to deploy more than fifty percent of one of our armies, but not it all."
"Okay."
"And our soldiers will need to act as...peacekeepers. An unsual stance for us isn't it? Anyways, being peacekeepers, we can only defend than attack."
"Who shall we be attacking?"
"Only those who oppose our presence. Anyone who offers resistance to us must be shot."
"What about civilians."
"Civilians are to be prisoned, even if they kill some of our men. We will hand them over to United Earth, and they will judge them - not us. Furthermore, we can't use heavy infantry and armor. We will use light because of our peacekeeping missions. I will compose a list of what we can use."
"Okay. And when will I initiate Zero Hour?"
"Hmm...United Earth will decide when we can come. By tomorrow, I will send you the list via transmission."

Zhongnanhai
Premier Hwang Lian-sher sat down at the conference room, Vice Premier Wang Xudong, Foreign Minister Yifeng Tong, Minister of Defense Lu Fuyuan, along with all their staff member met at. Hwang stood up "comrades, our strategy is to construct a strong foreign state under Zhongnanhai Socialism. However, we must not allow foreign powers to know we have a military presence." He announced.

Next to Speak was Yifeng "If that is your plan premier then we must have a back up to insure if we are caught we have a liable reason, suggestions?"

Lu Fuyuan looked up and spoke "We will tell the world it was a peace mission to insure anarchy did not spread throughout the region. The concern is moving our Liberation Airforce there. Not many of our fighter aircraft can make the long journey, the Transports obviously are able. We need ou aircraft carriers to be completed"

"then more funds will be redirected into our blue water project" responded the vice premier.

"Shouldn't we wait till the commanders respond?" Said Yifeng

The Premier made the final conclusion "We must mobilize quickly before other foreign nations foster their own regions. We will send civilian workers and equipment to build a more industrialized Victoria, airfields and military ports. Send the order now."

Several Hours later - Western Zhongnanhai
Many government own construction companies took the challenge transports (air and sea) were loaded with building materials, construction vehicles, and most important some 25,000 workers left with only several hours to gather their belongings and say good by to their families. Atleast 5 large transport and commercial vessels were used along with 3 cargo planes. As escorts 1 Type 091 (Han Class) SSN and 4 Type 052B (Guangzhou class) multirole missile destroyers. They are being rushed to Victoria on a "full speed ahead" order in hopes to beat out competition in the early stages.

United Earth The Government announced today that they are the ones responsible for blowing up the government building in the capital of Victoria with a 2,000 lb bomb that had been hidden inside the building. They also stated in the press conference, “This is but a taste of the terror we will inflict upon those who dare oppose us.”

The exact number of deaths has not yet been attainted but is expected to be in the hundreds.

With phase one complete, Taylor decided to call another meeting of his ministers, this time meeting in a secret underground complex.

“Years of planning are turning out just the way we planned” and at that everyone gave a little grin.”

“Our, first order of business gentlemen is to show these sub-humans whose boss. We have shown with the blowing up of the government building that we can strike without warning anywhere, but now we must show them we can crush them as easily as we can infiltrate their borders.” With a nod of their heads the ministers all agreed. A blockade will be imposed on the state of Victoria and our land armies will invade them. We can take care of Ontario later; the subjugation of Victoria is our first priority.

With that finally business of order over, the ministers left for their respective duties.

Detecting the approaching ships on radar, ships loyal to United Earth got into battle formation. They were made up of 1 Prince of Wales class battleship, 4 Arleigh Burke destroyers, 6 Adelaide class frigates, 4 Collins class submarines, and 2 Adelaide class patrol boats. All over the intercom of the ships the following message could be heard “A great battle awaits us, let this be but the first of many of our great victories.”

OCC: Added some information to the occ post. Please read (its listed under update). I know the bomb thing was brutal but what can I say, this is not going to be a simple civil war. Expect millions to die before it’s over. The nation is going to be reborn.

"Captain Wu! Our early warning systems have detected United Earth Vessels! they out number us we has estimates a minimal 10 vessels, atleast one battleship!" shouted an officer

"Order all ships to make a full turn and contact Zhongnanhai south fleet to meet up to cover us!" The Captain Wu replied.

The Officer saluted and immediately among the destroyers alarms rang and the ships halted making turns to retreat. At home the Southern Fleet was already preparing several more submarines and naval aircraft were getting ready.

Victoria
The two general met with surviving leaders in an underground bunker, a small dimly lit room. They prepared to announce a people's war. Many Car factories are now making vehicles of war. Textile plants have been given orders to produce uniforms, and Mao suits. Civilians donate old cloth to be made into new pro-Socialist uniforms. Many trucks are hooked up with loud speakers and now drive down streets pumping Communist Propaganda.

On board the battleship, "Victoria" As, Admiral Halsey watch on the radar the retreating ships of Victoria. He couldn't help but produce a slight grin. "Those communist are always afraid to fight", halsey was known as quite the poker player a reputation he worked hard on- a fitting skill for a man who had once again bluff the enemy into retreat from a fleet with half of it undermanned and with no ammo due to most supplies going to the army. As the enemy faded from radar- Halsey order two tomohawk anti-ship missiles fired at the fading signals, while their was hardly any chance of a hit it would show the retreating fleet that United Earthlings meant business. With its objective concluded, the fleet did a 180 and headed back towards their assigned positions in the blockade that was in effect for Victoria while those without supplies of amunition and low on crew sailed back to port.

United Earth: With Phase 2 now complete- Taylor issued the following order to his commanders: The United Earth forces must be prepared to crush Communist Victoria in a rapid campaign.

I. The Army will have to employ all available formations to this end, with the reservation that the Coastline and the border with Ontario must be insured against surprise attacks.

II. The Air Force will have to make available for this campaign supporting forces of such strength that the Army will be able to bring land operations to a speedy conclusion. This build-up of a focal point in the West will be limited only by the need to protect from air attack the whole combat and arsenal area which we control, and to ensure that attacks on Victoria, and especially upon her imports, are not allowed to lapse.

III.The main efforts of the Navy will continue to be directed against Victoria even during the Western campaign. In certain circumstances I shall issue orders for the deployment against Communist Victoria eight weeks before the operation is timed to begin. It is of decisive importance that our intention to attack should not be known.

The preparations of the High Commands will be made on the following basis:

I. General Intention

The bulk of the Victorian Army stationed in western Victoria will be destroyed by daring operations led by deeply penetrating armored spearheads. Victorian forces still capable of giving battle will be prevented from withdrawing. In the course of these operations the Victorian Fleet will quickly lose its bases and will then no longer be capable of action. The effective operation of the Victorian Air Force is to be prevented from the beginning of the attack by powerful blows.

II. Probable Allies and their Tasks

1. On the borders of our operations we can count on the active support of The Helghan Empire in the war against Communist Victoria.

III. Conduct of Operations

A. Army (in accordance with plans submitted to me)!
In the theater of operations, Three Army Groups will be used, they are Army Group A, B, and C.

I. Army Group A will secure the northern part of Victoria and help support the main attack that will be in the center. Army Group B will secure the vital capital and main centers of Victoria. Army Group C will secure the coastline and the southern part of Victoria.

B. Air Force

I. It will be the duty of the Air Force to paralyze and eliminate the effectiveness of the Victorian Air Force as far as possible. It will also support the main operations of the Army, i.e. those of the central Army Group and of the vital flank of the Southern Army Group. Victorian railways will either be destroyed or, in accordance with operational requirements, captured at their most important points (river crossings) by the bold employment of mechanized forces.

II. In order that we may concentrate all our strength against the enemy Air Force and for the immediate support of land operations, the Victorian armaments industry will not be attacked during the main operations. Such attacks will be made only after the conclusion of mobile warfare.

C. Navy

I. It will be the duty of the Navy during the attack on Communist Victoria to protect our own coasts and to prevent the breakout of enemy naval units from Victoria. After the elimination of the Victorian fleet the duty of the Navy will be to protect the entire maritime traffic and the transport of supplies by sea to the Southern flank (clearing of minefields!).

II. I await submission of the plans of Commanders-in-Chief on the basis of this directive.
The preparations made by all branches of the Armed Forces, together with timetables, are to be reported to me through the High Command of the Armed Forces.

With all preparations made- Phase 3 began at 6:00 a.m. this morning. Operation Anvil was launch with 87 divisions attacking with 3,105 tanks; 11,568 aircraft; and 2,196 SP guns and Howitzers with a total force of 1,238,496 military personal. The crushing of all those who oppose us has began.

Attack Ships were being loaded up well on supplies. It is because that they wil be in United Earthlings for a very long time during the war with their peacekeeping missions. It will take longer to help United Earth win the war with a defensive stance than offensive.
The Helghast 1st Army will be the peacekeepers during the war. Helghast troops quickly employed into the Attack Ships and will arrive to United Earthlings within three days.
300 Attack Ships had each contained active 83 soldiers of the Army, 100 Personnal - including pilots, officers, the Staff Commander, cooks, repairers, doctors, etc. - 80 Dropships, 20 Light Tanks, 15 Jet Bikes, 300 APCs, 60 APC [AA Turret]s, 20 Assault Boats, 10 Fast Attack Boats, 34 Swamp Boats.
The Helghast 1st Army has currently mobilized.


OOC: United Earthlings, if you have a map of your capitol city of United Earth, I would appreciate it if you could show me it.

Victoria
Hundred a new recruits some as young as 17 are being trained in the revolutionary tactic of the People's War. They are being non unconventional warfare including making homemade bombs from easily found materials, using rifles, and simply using the element of suprise. Throughout Victoria tunnel networks are being dug as propaganda continues to spur on a working people. These networks are simply small undeground passages. Most have air vents some have mere holes to keep air moving in and out. However, some in fear of this Communist takeover have fled back to United Earth, most being large business owners and libertarians. As A result parts of the border are closed and lost production facilities are being placed under state control. Recent military parades being help in the capital have shown soldiers wearing new uniforms favoring a more pro-communist and Zhongnanhai style. Also taking up a new goose-march.

Zhongnanhai
The retreat was a big disappointment to the Premier. However Zhongnanhai intends to stick with its plan to prevent itself from being known to participate in the war. Recently announced the Aircrat Carrier project was being given a top priority as the 3/4 completed aircraft carrier receives more funds and workers (Zhongnanhai has been working on an aircraft carrier ever since the revolution).

OCC: To Helghan Empire, no sorry I don't have a map of the capital city. No, wait I might have one. Let me see if I can dig one up. I get back to you.

IC: Just inside the border of Victoria: Though the government of United Earth had prepared large forces they had not expected the enemy to hide in holes in the ground and then pop out of nowhere. The forces were just not prepared for the type of war they found theirselves in. As a result, of surprise attacks hundreds of tanks and APCs had been destroyed along with thousands of troops. Realizing they would have to clean out one tunnel at a time all but the Light infantry divisions and two armored divisions were withdrawn back across the border.

Private Thompson Spearhead was thinking about his days as a boy on the farm when his squad leader interrupted him. Private you just voluntary to go investigate that tunnel and see what’s in it. Being handed a loaded Pistol and a flashlight, Private Thompson was ready for battle. While he was not thrilled about being drafted into the army he knew in his heart he was severing a good cause- the reunification of his homeland. Making his way into the tunnel pistol at the ready- keeping a close eye out for anything suspicious as a decoy or booby trap. After a few minutes of crawling through this god-awful tunnel he spotted a shape ahead in the dim light provided by the flashlight, was it the enemy or just a figure of his active imagination.

We see this uprising - and issue of the States becoming independent - growing much worse day-by-day. We ask that we begin the deployment of our Helghast "peackeeping" soldiers. I wish to contain the threat as soon as possible at any cost.

OOC: I was just looking over some posts and, United Earthlings, you said I would give you active support in a campaign against Victoria. Have you decided to disband my peacekeeping roles and have me use offensive tactics?

After months of nothing but headaches, President JAMES TAYLOR issued a decree today stating "Any citizen of Victoria that supports the Communist forces will be killed without question." To make an example a small town near the border that was supporting the communist enemy has been wipe of the face of the map. A low yeild nuclear device was used to level the city, all those that support our enemies will face the same fate.

With the conclusion of Operation Anvil- the entire state of Victoria is under the control of the armed forces of our noble leader Taylor. All that remains in the cleanup of the communist that are hiding. Any enemy stronghold encountered is either bomb or a chemical agent used. Either way- Operation Clean Sweep is expected to take no longer then 2 months.

After months of waiting- the government of Ontario has finally crossed the border into United Earth- the resulting battle will decided the outcome of this war.

Private Cornwall had never seen such a mass horde of people in his life. It reminded him of his history class back in High School, before he joined the army. When they were studing the Great War. However, the falling of artillery around his squad position snap him back to reality. His squad along with the entire division had been order to hold at all cost, no matter what and not to give an inch to the enemy. Everyone knew that was not going to be an easy task, but no one said anything. They just waiting for the time to come when they could honor their country with their lives.

After days of bloodly hand to hand fighting between the forces loyal to United Earth and the forces of Ontario, the rements of 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th infantry division plus that of 3rd Armoured began to pull back 50 miles to a new defensive line- known as the "Last line". Here the troops would be replenish and get ready to either defend their homes or go on the offensive- that on depending on how the war went on the southern sector of the front.

While the forces of United Earth had been outnumber by almost 2 to 1, they had performed well in the face of such odds.

The KIA reported for the battle of bloodly Ridge as it became known was close to 30,000. The losses suffered to the enemy were unknown but expected to be just as high, if not more. So far the fighting had mainly been between the states of the west, with all of the states of the east remaining at this time out of the fight.

They were on the offensive of both the rebelling-faction soldiers and any rebel civilian that assaulted both United Earth and Helghast-led forces. However, the two Helghast leaders (Scolar Visari and General Lente) would hope that this will not shake their defensive pact they had established with the United Earth government. Helghast soldiers, on every front, had simple orders: capture rebel-civilians and kill any resisters.

The Helghast government had decided to disband any peacekeeping roles because of the entire all-out-war unleashed on the United Earth government. They were on the offensive of both the rebelling-faction soldiers and any rebel civilian that assaulted both United Earth and Helghast-led forces.
