It was a beautiful day in Bynzek City. The sun was out and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The Presidential Building, in all its majestic glory, was abuzz with people. In front of the building there was a huge crowd, held back by barricades and security guards. The press corps took up most of the left side of the entrance.

A long line of black sedans stretched back along the main boulevarde. On either side of every bonnet were two flags, depicting the nation which the car's occupants belonged to. As the first car pulled to a halt, the doors of the Building swung open, and the President of Bynzekistan, Georgi Bynschev, strode out into the sunshine with a smile on his face.

"People of Bynzekistan!" he cried. "And people of the world! This is a great day. A day of peace. A day of goodwill. A day where nations can come together and organise ways to interact without war! Without pain! Without loss! We are only moving forward, and we are moving forward TOGETHER!"

The crowd went insane. Bynzeki flags waved everywhere, interspersed with the flags of the attending nations. Bynschev rushed down to meet the first delegates.

It was happening. It was really happening.

Ambassador Jenkins scanned the schedule papers for the tenth time. It appeared that this would be quite a relaxing experience. This was his first true job for Bravendore in relations to other countries in the international community. A bead of sweat slowly made it's way down his face, his knees bumbed together almost uncontrollably. If he failed now the entire nation of Bravendore would be ashamed.

"Sir, how much longer until we reach the Presidential Quarters?"
"My lord, we still have about 15 minutes to go. I would suggest you prepare for meeting your first national leader. I shall tell you when we are 5 miles away."
"Thank you, sir."

He shifted uncomfortably in the sedan. Outside of it wove the Bravendore and Bynzekistan flag. He tapped his fingers against his laptop as he waited impatiently for the time to pass by.

Suddenly, his cell phone rang, he hastily looked at the ID, if it wasn't important he wasn't going to answer it. But seeing that it was from the President himself he quickly picked up the phone.

"Hello, Mr. President?"
"Ah, Dwight Jenkins? Our new ambassador to Bynzekistan?"
"Yes, sir."
"I'm just calling to congradulate you on your new appointment as Ambassador. All of us here in Bravendore hope you can bring about Bravendore's international attention with this summit. Also you did receive the e-mail with the schedule for events and our position or alliance with Bynzekistan?"
"Yes, sir."
"Very, good we wish you the best of luck in your new apponitment."
"Thank you."
"Good bye."

Dwight slowly lowered the phone. Clicking it off, he leaned back comfortably. All would be well at the summit. Now was a time to relax.

"Sir, we have arrived."

Ambassador Talgius Septum Looked out the Window of his Black Sedan admiring the Bynzeki landscape, He then looked down an studied the schedule of proceedings. His mind was overfilled with pride of representing his country to her new allies, and nervous hopes that he would not let his cousin the emperor down, his mind Drifted to the Conversation he had with his cousin. He began to think of how he had promised not to fail, and he remembered how the Imperial Palace looked particularly grand as he departed, How his cousin had Smiled shook his hand and his words "Make me proud...Make us all proud!" the Emperor had said. he then came out of his day dreaming and looked out the windshield of the sedan to see the Zurst and Bynzekistan Flags waving in the breeze. He saw they Were Approaching The destination and he Tried to collect him self, "Ah finally my first responsibility for the empire" he thought to him self "All should go very well" The sedan then pulled up to the curb. "We are here sir" announced the driver.

The first two cars pulled up, and Ambassadors Jenkins and Septum alighted. They walked over to Bynschev, positively beaming. Bynschev stepped forward, his hands outstretched.

"On behalf of my government and my people, I welcome you to Bynzekistan. It is truly an honour and a privilege to have you here."
"And for us as well, I'm sure, President Bynschev," Jenkins said.
"Of course, Mr. President. The chance to represent our own nations in a place as beautiful as this..." Septum spread his arms in an all-encompassing gesture.
"I understand, my friend," Bynschev said. "Please, please, go inside. There are refreshments and my staff are rather hungry, and I'm sure they would welcome company such as yours. Once the other delegates have arrived I will be joining you."

Bynschev shook their hands again and watched as his aides escorted the Bravendore and Zurst delegates inside. He then gazed at the long line of sedans still to arrive. There really were worse things he could be doing as President.

Motorcade of the President
Bynzek City, Bynzekistan

As Mark Stevens arrived at the House of the Republic, he turned to the newly-appointed ambassador to Bynzekistan, Edward Jones, and said,

"Phew, that is one damned big building. How much did it cost?"

"5 billion dollars."

"Wow. The voters at home would lynch me if I built something like this."

------------------------------------------------------------------------

As he stepped out of the limo, Stevens say President Bynschev and ran over to him.

"President Bynschev. I'm been waiting for this moment."

"As have I, President Stevens."

As Bynschev led him and Ambassador Jones into the House of the Republic, Stevens thought to himself, "This is going to be great."
