Report from the NAAP (New Aushan Associated Press),
In a special report, formally vice prime minister, Jacob Siegfreid, officially took power today in New Ausha's head parliment building. In a firey speech, he explained the vices and failure of the Andier administration. Specifically, he constantly mentioned the failures of his new founded leftist views. Apparently, Andiers was attempting to allow a communist and socialist party, officialy run in national elections. Siegfreid quote, claimed this as, "giving into the far-left views, due to thier overwhelming power". Possible changes to New Ausha include, a differn't flag, the newly aquired status of being an "armed republic." The few left party members remaining in New Ausha, claim this as Siegfreid's excuse, to "seize power, at a vulnerable time". A recent poll reveald, that 79% of the population agree with the change in minister's. All previously appointed minister's have agreed with the change, with the exception of Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexander P. Warolof. Warolof openly protested, and has openly, to reporters, exclaimed his frustration. Prime Minister Siegfreid, in response, has threatened to force Warolof to abdictae, his position, which would be given to likely, far-right wing candidate, Holger A. Dieter. Siegfreid has promised that New Ausha's changes will be positive, and that Mr.Andier's administration, simply could not complete these tasks, under the current constitution. Taxes have been cut, however, welfare programs have been utterly severed. Regulations on corporations, which were already extremely leanient, are now even "softer." But of all this, New Ausha's war production has seen the most radical change. War production has skyrocketed, as have the millitary numbers. Of 14 million citizens, 65,000 are currently in service of the millitary, and 86,000 are in reserve units. This compulsary millitary service, may be a sign, of some sort of plot, in the making. Communism and socialism and completely outlawed, and cencorship laws, have been added to the media (we so far, have been uneffected). This has been a report, by Jennifer Huntser, with the NAAP.
