Khan Delta is standing with half a dozen people and a dozen Civil bodyguards. “Today, I announce my choices for leadership positions. First among them is the replacement for head of Intelligence, as Kortana is now exclusively my advisor on all matters. I have requested the best man for the job return from retirement and once again, Agent 283 is now head of intelligence.” He pauses and looks at he aging Agent, who bows his head in assent.

“With the retirement of Byron Fisk, I have need of a new Minister of Internal Security. This has fallen to the capable hands of the Empire’s most keen intellect on the matters of security, Mister Otto Skorzeny.” All over Crimmond, that name brought shouts of discontent. Delta silenced them all when he continued. “This may seem to be an unpopular move, but Mr. Skorzeny is quite capable as both an administrator and a foot soldier.”

The feed breaks away again, back to the talking head. “This move to put a former Inquisitor in charge of Internal Security has caused much uproar. Even more so because his great-grandfather is the infamous Standartenfuhrer Otto Skorzeny, who was one of Adolph Hitler’s favorite SS men, though he has never shown himself to be anything but a loyal Imperialist, insulting Fascists whenever they are mentioned. This was not, however, the largest surprise of the conference.”
The video appears again. Delta introduces the Empire’s new Miniswter of Defense, “With the reassignment of General Marco, I must choose a new Minister of Defense. There is only one man that I believe is perfectly qualified for this position. Andrew Coleman IV.”
The man once known as the High Commander strode up to Delta, then turned and smiled at the cameras and crowd. He was wearing his usual garb of military cut clothing over body armor, eyes hidden by aviators and dyed thinning hair hidden by his beret. Delta stepped aside to let him speak. “Thank you, Khan. Now, as you people get over the shock of seeing me again, without a straight jacket, let me explain how I came here. I did indeed snap that day and was admitted to an asylum for the clinically insane. Over the past thirty years I have been treated and have overcome my… affliction of the mind.” Leaning forward, he continued. “Technically, I have the right to seize power over the Empire and oust Delta, as I never retired from the post of Emperor. I shall not do so, however, as I’m simply much too old to run a nation effectively. I have volunteered my experience though and the Khan has accepted.” Coleman steps back and shakes 283’s hand, almost getting a smile out of the other man.

"I have every confidence in these men and all shall further the cause of both the Empire and of Gholgoth." Delta said, in closing. He then looked at each one and each bowed their heads for a moment. Even Coleman, though technically, he didn't have to.

The international community has yet to respond to these events, but this may well be the first report on the conference to leave Europe.
