An Honourable Feast [FT](ATTN: Ftang, Slightly open)

Guerado spaceport was alive with activity. Crowds had amassed in their droves, the noise was like the buzzing of a million flies. A spot appeared in the sky. Waki Durish'a, Minutan leader, accompanied by a small regiment of his own soldiers arrived in the leaders dropship. They stood in full battlegear with loaded weapons, and formed two circles around the edge of the large landing bay, one inside of the other.

The ship flew away, as all the soldiers knelt down. They stayed there for a couple of minutes before a ship appeared out of nowhere. Everybody knew this ship. It had no shield to speak of but it did have a complex cloaking device. The High Minutan walked out in ceremonial dress brandishing their famous staffs. They walked out towards the leader. The ship dissapeared, and all of a sudden a very different kind of ship came down.

Waki Duris'ha looked up as did the High Minutan, as the ship came down on top of them. The crowd were silent. A Weso let out a small roar, as the ship continued to descend.

As the ship descended, the King began to speak to his brothers:

"Don't look so worried my brothers, these are kind people. They will care for us."

"The Minutan are said to be large brutish creatures, that could crush us instantly."

"Korak assured me they are friendly here, so calm down."

The transport ship landed in the port. A long platform descended from the bottom of the ship, and out stepped 8 disciplined men who formed two rows of four along the side of the path. Following them stepped the Kings brothers, Wershak and Rolanov, and the Prime Minister Korak Reeming who smiled towards the man he could tell was Waki Duris'ha.

Everything was silent, no movement or anything for a few moments. Then the King stepped out of the craft, with his robes flowing behind him and with the crown sitting tightly on his head. He moved towards the Minutan welcoming party...

Waki Duris'ha walked forwards to the Korak Reeming. He bent over slightly and extended a hand. He lightly shook the Prime Ministers hand carefully without squashing it. "It is a pleasure to meet you at last. I hope your stay will be pleasureable."

He turned to the King, bending over, and rising again. "Congratulations on your recent appointment to your position. I am Waki Duris'ha, leader of this here place. You are welcomed as a guest of the Minutan!" The High Minutan stood behind him, and all volleyed off one shot of energy each, in alternating colours. Blue and white, the colours of the Ftang flag.

The troops stood tall, and performed a short arms drill before filing down the ramp to the east of the landing bay, leading towards the greeting area. Waki Durish'a signalled to his guests the way and led them towards the large doors. The party was followed by the High Minutan.

The group followed Waki Duris'ha to the doors. The guards marching in formation closely behind the King and his brothers.

"You see my brothers, these are kind people, nothing bad will happen here."

"Maybe your right, our guards will protect us should anything happen."

"Forget the guards, just enjoy yourselves." said Korak, interrupting. This was followed by an angry stare from the King. Korak backed away silently and abruptdly, having realised he had forgotten his place. King Roshan turned to Waki Duris'ha.

"This is a wonderfully built place. And I thank you for inviting me, having recently become King, I wish to make good friends. How long have you been ruler of your people?"...
[NS]Minuta
21-11-2005, 19:43
"That is indeed a question that requires some explanation. You may or may not know that a leader must fight for the place, killing the old one in a brutal, bare fisted fight. Let's just say my injuries have just healed." Waki Duris'ha smiled slightly.

He summoned a small group of Minutan who rushed over with plates of various drinks and some with snacks. "I am sure you are hungry after your travels. There is transport waiting outside to take us to the Palace of the Ancients. Take your time, and we will leave when you are ready."

Waki Duris'ha glanced over at the High Minutan, who were talking to various others. Ones staff was clearly the point of interest, while another had his hand in anothers.

"We thankyou Waki Duris'ha. But my mother and the generals have not arrived yet and I would like to wait for them."

He thought to himself "If only my father could see me now..." Roshan , though showing sadness, bowed and pulled his party to the side.

"Now make sure you act like gentleman Wershak and Rolanov. Our mother will be arriving soon with General Lord Korsax Loranov, and General Turak. And we dont want to dissapoint them."

"We will my lord." They began to observe the Minutan, 8ft tall and brutish is what they were told. But they were never told how different indeed they were to us. Six fingers on each huge, muscular hands. And very large muscular legs.

"I would not want to have one of these people as our enemies Wershak."

"You think correctly Rolanov, but Roshan thinks beyond just that. He wants to establish good relations, and make a good friend. That was what gained him popularity back home."

"Indeed, I shall wait behind to see mother, you go ahead and catch up with Roshan."

Another ship appeared above the skies of the port of Guerado. Rolanov approached the area near the ship and awaited them.

The same events that happened for Kings Roshan's entrance occured here. Out stepped two guards, who would not be joining us though, and were followed by Queen Lorika, the Kings mother, and quite frail old woman in her early seventies. And two large, strongly built men. These men were General Lord Korsax Loranov, and General Turak, the top leading Generals of Ftang. Korsax had been friends with Roshan for years, but that was not why he was appointed. He had led many victories over rebels and defended the borders of Ftang numerous times against invaders. He was only 23 at the time. Making him the youngest General in Ftangs history.

Rolanov rushed to greet his mother and hugged her tight.

"I was beginning to worry about you three."

"Don't be son, we can handle ourselves." She looked at the two generals and gave a small chuckle. The Guards then walked back into the ship as it flew off.

"Come on mom. Let's catch up with the King."

As Roshan saw the four figures heading towards him he signalled to Waki Duris'ha that they were ready and began walking towards him.

"I take it the rest of your party has arrived? Shall we move on to the Palace of the Ancients?" Waki Duris'ha ended his sentence as some people walked through the door.

He smiled slightly, and walked over signalling to the High Minutan on the way. "Welcome to Minuta! I hope your stay is a pleasant one, I am Waki Duris'ha, leader of these people." He felt as though he could sense a slight smell of sweat, but did not quite know where it was coming from. "Follow me if you will." With this he turned and walked towards the doors on the other side of the large room. He stood holding both doors open as two Minutan rushed to hold them. He let go and stood by the opening to the large transport craft in front of him. He watched as his guests followed, showing them the way.

Meanwhile, preparations at the Palace of the Ancients were well under way. The rooms were prepared and were just being given the finishing touches. Everything was being done to ensure that this visit went smoothly.

As everyone entered the craft, they bowed to Waki Duris'ha. Queen Lorika smiled at him, one which was returned.

When they sat down inside the vessel they all noticed the unique designs the Minutan used, everything appeared to be alive. Pictures were in the side of the wall on the transport. Showing several pictures of different Minutan standing on the body of another. These were most likely the pictures of former rulers, the latest showing Waki Duris'ha.

The Queen turned to the Lord Korsax.

"Make sure you and the guards watch out for my darling sons. I trust these people with all my heart, but there is still something about the build of them that makes me suspicious."

"Of course, my lady." He nodded and turned to the guards relaying the same message to them.

King Roshan sat peacefully in his seat. He was finally ready to become a true leader of his people. An alliance with people such as these would bring great aid. Plus, Waki Duris'ha has the makings of a true friend, and after hearing they live around 3,000 years, he knew that if this worked out he would have a lifelong friend.

He just hoped he could make a good impression amongst these people

The ship rose off the ground, as one High Minutan rose. "I, on behalf of all the High Minutan, welcome you to our community."

He bowed, tapped his staff lightly on the floor of the ship as it sped off to its destination. "Please make a cup in your hands if you please." He waited till everyone had done as was told. He tapped his staff harder on the floor of the ship and pointed it around the room, kneeling.

The lights flickered for a second and were restored. All the guests let out a gasp as in front of them a small bowl filled with a liquid appeared in their hands. "These bowls are ceremonial, first used by our leader when greeting our allies, now destroyed by a common enemy, also now destroyed in one great war. The alliances formed that day never broke. Today, we use the same bowls. I propose a drink, to our alliance!"

"To our alliance." Replied King Roshan and took a sip. And everyone, having seen their leader drink did the same. As Roshan looked around he saw one of the high Minutan talking to Wershak, he was asking about the weapons we use. Over the years Roshan had trained his hearing to high sensitivity. When he was young he could hear a mouse move and catch it before the mouse could even move.

Wershak began replying to the High Minutan and handed over his weapon explaining it. After having done so he inspected their weapons and was told how they work. He gave a signal to me to come over. I undid my buckle and looked to Waki Duris'ha to see if it was alright to walk, he nodded back. I strode over to Wershak and asked what he wanted.

"Brother, these people are pure geniuses, look at their weapons for instance. They are alive, and are quite powerful, could punch right through any type of armour we use, tank or not."

"Indeed, Korak told me of these peoples way of building, everything was as if it was alive." He looked at the weapon, smiled and , in an expert show of co-ordination, spun it round his hand and finger before handing it handle first back to the High Minutan.

He began walking towards Waki Duris'ha:

"Your trade items are being prepared back home, and should be ready when you make your visit. We have made a special robot for your use. And hope it comes to use."
[NS]Minuta
21-11-2005, 21:30
"I look forward to seeing this robot you speak of!" Waki Duris'ha was genuinely intrigued by what these were. "I see we all seem to get along well. It appears my own men are intrigued by your weapons, I would have thought that the civilian populace would have been more interested."

The ship slowed, and began to descend. It hit the ground softly, as the back door opened. The whirring began to slow to a constant rate. A small pur was heard as Waki Duris'ha stood. He smiled, and walked backwards out of the ship indicating to the others to follow.

When the ship had emptied, the door closed. The ship purred again. A question was asked, but from who Waki Duris'ha did not know. "What was the almost growl like sound?". He answered it to the general direction he heard it from. "That is the ship, living, a creature in its own right. It is showing its happiness. The sound is never heard after a battle, not that a ship such as that would ever be involved in battle!"

He walked over to the edge of the Palace of the Ancients. It was at this moment that the guests realised where they were. They were halfway up a vertically inclined, epically sized mountain face. They looked over the edge, seeing the vast city of Guerado below them. "Welcome," Waki Duris'ha paused momentarily. "To the Palace of the Ancients!"

21-11-2005, 21:43
Everyone gasped in amazement. The guards, who rarely ever smiled or talked, began to smile at the way the Minutan built their cities. Wershak and Rolanov began pointing at where they had met Waki Duris'ha for the first time, and began to say how they had already become friends with him.

King Roshan looked at the structure itself, and almost from fainted from amzement, but was grabbed by Lord Korsax just in time. The look in his eyes showed that he had seen something he never thought he would see. A palace built into the cliff! He just couldn't wait to get inside and view it.

By looking around he could tell the others thought the same. He thanked Waki Duris'ha immensly for this opportunity and requested they proceed.
[NS]Minuta
21-11-2005, 22:08
"Good isn't it?" He smiled. "Yes, please, lets proceed!"

Waki Duris'ha led the party into the building. The walls were natural rock, the floor carpeted and the ceiling natural. The ceiling was lit up and seemed multi-coloured, the light being reflected off of natural crystal formations. The room was nicely furnished and had great paintings hung in frames on the walls, depicting battle scenes and leaders, with High Minutan.

"Please make yourselves at home, you have each been assigned a room looking out towards the same view which you saw upon your arrival. We will be having our feast in honour of your highness tomorrow evening. Tomorrow we will be giving you a tour of our various sights, and an insight into our culture and how our country works."

A big Minutan, by Minutan standards, walked into the room. "Please excuse me. Waki, can I have a word?"

Waki Duris'ha looked slightly shocked. "Of course, please excuse me for a minute." The two Minutan walked off into the corner. Their voices were just audible. "What is it?"

"A challenger has called for a fight."

"Now? Can it not wait?"

"You know how it works... besides, he isn't exactly anything special. It should be over quickly."

"That isn't the point. Where is he?" At that moment the door flung open, as a new Minutan walked into the room. After looking around, the Minutan walked towards Waki Duris'ha with no regard to the others in the room.

"I challenge you for your position, right now!"

"I am sorry for this my friends. It is part of our society and totally unplanned. I wish this could be postponed." The High Minutan stood and formed a square, one side of which had three Minutan to it. Waki Duris'ha had to accept the challenge, there was no other way.

The two of them sized each other up.

King Roshan and the others gathered round to view what was happening, though it was kind of hard to view over the 8ft Minutan.

Roshan couldnt believe it, he could lose a friend here and now, and after losing his father he didnt want to lose anyone else.

He tried to break throught the High Minutan but they pushed him back, it was hopeless. Wershak comforted his brother as the others watched the oncoming fight

The challenger took a large swing at Waki Duris'ha, which he dodged and countered with a blow straight to the face. The challenger, knocked back, composed himself and looked back up. Waki Duris'ha stood there quite relaxed.

Two small blows were made to Waki Duris'ha, to his stomach and face, he paused for a second before jumping straight into the air levelling out and wrapping his arms around the neck of his opponent. With one swift movement, he threw the other Minutan out into the open air, where he was charged on and hit repeatedly around the head. He looked really bad. "Death or defeat?" Yelled Waki Duris'ha. The obvious answer was the reply. To accept defeat was to lose all dignity and respect. Death was the good option.

Waki Duris'ha, having got the reply wished for looked up at his guests. The look on his face was one he wished they would never have to view. His eyes were like fire, his face scrunged up, the muscles being used to attempt to reduce injury to the face. He looked at the face of the challenger. With one swift blow, he cracked the head of the other Minutan into the ground. He repeated this a few times. He stood, before ploughing his hand directly into the face of his opponent.

He stood for a few seconds, before regaining his composure. The High Minutan wrapped a white sheet around the challenger, covering the whole body. They each used their power to float the body from the ground, and transport it out of the room.

"I hoped you would not of had to view such a sight during your stay. I am sorry my friends. It is how society works here." A small bit of blood ran into his eye.

While others began to put together what happened. King Roshan walked up to Waki Duris'ha:

"I have had my fair share of battles, when I was just sixteen I lost my older brother to some bandits. I took my revenge on those bandits two months later at their camp. They only used swords and axes made crudely from stone. I had been using a sword for over ten years and easily cut my way through. When it was just the leader and two bodyguards I turned and walked away as my duty was done, but they charged at me. My reflexes kicked in as I blocked all three weapons, kicked their leader on the side of his knee and drew a dagger and shoved it into his throat. I pulled my sword out of the lock and cut one of them down the middle and the other across the chest. As they lay bleeding by my feet I promised that I would never fight again or use swords again."

After telling his tale the others asked where their rooms were and Waki Duris'ha pointed to them their directions. But stopped to ask King Roshan more...

22-11-2005, 07:47
"Please follows these kind Minutan here, they will show you to your individual rooms."

He continued to talk to King Roshan. "I take it you had alot of experience with your weapon? It comes naturally to us believe it or not. Tell me more if you please."

Waki Duris'ha was angry at how someone had challenged him right then. He was also happy that he was still alive. He remembered his battles before this. The fight that got him where he was came into his head first. He had come out looking worse, but he had still won. He then remembered the first Minutan War.

They came, they destroyed, they killed, they lost, they destroyed Minutan allies wiping them off the face of the universe, and they left. Many had died. The Minutan had been alone for many years after that. Now was the chance to forge a new friendship.

He liked King Roshan, he seemed very loyal and the story he had told was fascinating. King Roshan began to reply to his question, so he snapped out of thought.

"Well there isn't much more I can tell you, except that my nations people always train in the art of swordsmanship, and martial arts. My two brothers chose archery over martial arts, and can hit anything from over 500 yards. My father always told me that he was proud of how much I served the Kingdom, and when he named me as heir, I thought I couldn't do it. But becoming friends with you made me think different, I had to think positive. But I am too tired now, if you don't mind I would like to go to bed"

Waki Duris'ha smiled and showed him the way....

After showing the King to his room, Waki Duris'ha returned to the main palace lobby. The High Minutan were in conversation, which quickly died down. "Whats wrong?" Waki Duris'ha asked.

"Nothing major, just word has come to us of yet another wild beast migration. Firing teams are working on it now."

"Thats all?"

"Well, there were some complications. One of our armed force leaders was trampled under foot. He is seriously injured."

"Where? Who?"

"Thats the thing, its... we are sorry... Har Hulit. He is being cared for by-" Waki Duris'ha had noticed a High Minutan was missing.

"He is in good hands I take it. I shall visit him now." With this Waki Duris'ha left the room with the High Minutan.

As the king drifted into sleep in his suite, he began to think what had happened so far. He had met a great creature, whom he trusted enough to tell one of his deepest secrets to. And gained trust and friendship with another race.

He yet again thought of his father, and how proud he would be. But he drifted to sleep.

A few doors down, Prince Rolanov could hear his brother yelling in his sleep. He only did that when he had his bandit dream. I guess he forgot what it did to him.

Everything had to be perfect, and a king breaking down in front of an honourable race could not happen. He went and comforted his brother and made him think of the happy times.

When he himself went back to sleep, nothing was heard. He had saved his brother again.
[NS]Minuta
23-11-2005, 07:53
Two servants met in the corridor. "There was screaming."

"I know, I could hear it." Minutan couldn't hear very well.

"If it starts again, should we go and find the person?"

"Hmm... it couldn't hurt could it?"

They seperated and went back to their posts. Waki Duris'ha walked into one servant on the way. "Sorry. Please excuse me."

"Is everyone ok?"

"Yes, how is Har Hulit?"

"Consciousness has found him, he is having his wounds seen to." Waki Duris'ha had just returned from seeing him.

"Thats good, will you be setting down?"

"I think I will." With that, Waki Duris'ha went to sleep. His senses were alive. He could hear and smell his dream. He walked through the doors, into the pitch black room. He saw King Roshan, where he just dropped to the floor and started bleeding. He could smell the blood. He saw the blood seep out from under the King.

He awoke.

King Roshan awoke again, he wasn't screaming this time though, he could just sense his friend was suffering discomfort. He didn't know why but he just could.

He tried to go back to sleep, as a King needed to look his best, but kept tossing and turning. He didn't wish to wake anyone up again. He simply pulled out a book he had brought with him and started reading it...
[NS]Minuta
23-11-2005, 19:30
The new morning came, the Palace of the Ancients was alive with activity. The kitchens had been going three hours preparing a breakfast for so many, the servants preparing a table and working around the awake High Minutan.

Waki Duris'ha walked into the room. "How are things?"

The High Lords invited him to sit with them. "Good. There have been no complications and we are preparing for our tour today. We shall give the King a day he will never forget, for the right reasons of course!" The Minutan all smiled, a couple laughing. Spirits were obviously high.

"Sounds good. If you will excuse me, I am going to get ready." Waki Duris'ha stood and walked off through the doors, everyone was following him with his eyes. He bumped into a servant, comforted them from their shock and laughed with them.

His dream still played on his mind.
Ftang
23-11-2005, 20:28
King Roshan woke up with his book stuck to his face. He pulled it off and cleaned up. He placed the crown upon his head and put on his robes. He felt it was wrong to have servants do that for you.

He then set about waking the others up. Wershak and Rolanov first, followed by his mother, the Generals, and the Prime Minister. All got dressed up and waited outside in the corridor as a High Minutan approached them....
[NS]Minuta
23-11-2005, 20:38
"Aha, you are awake!" The High Minutan stopped, holding his arms to either side of him, palms facing inwards. "If you would follow me, I shall show you to breakfast." He backed off down the corridor, before turning and walking normally.

They arrived in the dining room, where the table was laid and around the edge of the room were more tables. They were shown to seats and a whole host of servants filed out of the kitchen. They each carried with them two containers, which probably contained food. As each was placed down, the lid was removed and food started to pop up on the tables. As each servant bought out their item, every second one found a person at the table and asked what they would like. They then, having received the order, went off to serve it from the tables.

Once everyone had received their meals, Waki Duris'ha stood. "I hope we all had a good night?" Murmurs were heard. "Please, do not hesitate, fill your stomachs for the day we have ahead!"

The Minutan started to feed on meat while the rest had what they asked for.

Waki Duris'ha leaned over to King Roshan. "You will like what we have planned today, I'm sure."
Ftang
23-11-2005, 20:44
"I'm sure I will." He said smiling.

He began to dig into his food, royally of course, but some of the child inside him was let out as he occasionally slurped his drink. It was truly the fine wine Korak had said they would get.

Korak sniggered at the King, shovelling food in now and then. Everything was going to plan. Though the King thought of Waki Duris'ha as a friend, Korak looked at him as a strategic use.
[NS]Minuta
23-11-2005, 21:02
The majority of people finished their meals. Waki Duris'ha stood once again. "If anybody would like any more food, just say, it is no problem. We have time. If everybody is finished however, we shall make a move."

Everybody had seemed to have finished, if it was genuinely full or not wanting to overfill themselves. "Lets move out then." The High Minutan stood and led the way to the transport. They walked through the main lobby into the open area where they had arrived. The ship was whirring slowly and controlled, and slowly people filtered onto it.

The ship door closed as the ship purred. The whirring became heavier and more frequent as the ship rose from the ground. One of the High Minutan stood. "Today will show you some of our culture and our ways. You will be given the choice when you arrive of how to travel. I will talk more on that when we arrive. However, what is certain is that we are leaving the city. Should a duststorm, not uncommon, arise, we will need to protect you as quickly as possible. The Minutan have adapted to protecting themselves, but you are in no way suited. You will each be provided with this white material, which you must carry at all times and should you lose it, there are spares." Some were looking puzzled.

The ship landed and the door opened. The High Minutan and Waki Duris'ha went out. "Please wait here." The rest remained inside. The six returned from outside. Waki Duris'ha spoke. "I think its best we remain in here for a moment." Everyone seemed more puzzled. "Please follow us."

They all filed out of the transport ship. Confronting them were twenty huge beasts. They didn't look entirely promising. "You have a choice. You may ride with a Minutan, who know how to ride the Weso, the beasts you see before you. You could also ride on your own, an experience you will never forget. We have guides along with us that can help you should you need it, and will talk you through the basics. Alternatively, you can ride with each other. The choice is yours."

One beast stamped on the floor as a guide mounted it. It tossed its head backward and took a step before being stopped by the guide.
Ftang
23-11-2005, 21:07
"I shall ride my own." King Roshan replied
"I shall ride with Wershak." Rolanov said
"I shall ride with a guard." Said the frail old queen

And each of the guards rode their own.

As the King was shown how to mount a Weso, one seemed to go crazy and headed towards the King....
[NS]Minuta
23-11-2005, 21:18
One guide took the strap of the Weso. Using his might, he pulled it round and whacked it around the head. It seemed stunned for a moment, and then started rubbing its nose against the Minutan. The guides seemed in complete control of the beasts. The guide decided to ride this one ahead. He spoke in a wierd tongue. "Repo helira facronic mic."

A reply came. He rode off ahead of the main party, snatching a weapon as he went.

Waki Duris'ha spoke to the guards. "Whatever happens, do not attack with your own weapons. Our guides are skilled in this environment and they will deal with whatever threat should come about with their own specialised weapons. Do not open fire. I cannot emphasise it enough."

The party rode off slower than the first had done. Waki Duris'ha rode alongside King Roshan. "Quite a special beast isn't it? They are not uncommon either."
Ftang
23-11-2005, 21:21
"It is indeed. You seem to have them well trained towards your people."

He looked to his side to see his mother attempting to control a Weso, but was being helped by a Minutan. Roshan sniggered.

"My mothers quite the adventurer isn't she?"
[NS]Minuta
23-11-2005, 21:25
"Oh, indeed. She isn't doing too badly." The Minutan looked over and smiled. The queen spoke to the Minutan, and the comment was greeted with a laugh. Waki Duris'ha smiled. "How are you finding your own beast?"
Ftang
23-11-2005, 21:28
"He is very tame. I have never seen a more calm creature, normally it takes years for a creature to get used to a new rider."

Wershak and Rolanov were struggling, the general's were riding the beasts like they had before and Korak kept slipping off.

"What is our destination, and how long until we get there?"
[NS]Minuta
23-11-2005, 21:34
"Oh, not far now. In fact, can you see the small bumps in the horizon? That is our destination." Waki Duris'ha smiled.

A guide rode over to Korak. His accent was fairly hard to understand, but he spoke clearly, pronounciated each word. "Are you ok, sir?" His Weso acknowledged the other and they walked side by side.

The party continued, but one guide noticed a Weso returning hastily from ahead. "Haret marles liope." He rode ahead quickly, to meet the other. The party approached them slowly.

23-11-2005, 21:41
"Oh I'm fine thankyou, just need to learn thats all." Korak said

"I wonder what's going on?" Roshan questioned, looking at the weso ahead.

"I'm sure it's nothing." Wershak cut in. He then began to chat to Waki Duris'ha while Roshan continued staring off into the distance. He could still feel that Waki was hiding something worrying.
[NS]Minuta
23-11-2005, 21:52
The dream dwelled on Waki Duris'ha's mind. He spoke to Wershak. He could smell the worry in the King's breath.

"I am sure it is nothing." He spoke without looking at the king. Turning his head, he continued. "They have to work together, communication is essential to their survival."

They reached the two. One spoke to Waki Duris'ha. "There is a wild beast movement." He pointed in the direction. "Our time is here. They arrive in ten."

Waki Duris'ha moved around the party. "Everyone. Here is the thing we have bought you out for. The ancient art of wild beast hunting. For you safety, we will be leaving some Weso here and everyone must mount with a skilled Minutan, a guide." People were looking about. Ten more guides joined the party. "This large rock gathering is where we will join the movement from."

Everybody seemed to have sensed the ground. It was vibrating slightly. A noise grew louder and louder, and all of a sudden, on the otherside of the rock, a huge stream of beasts came into sight. They looked like a pig, but with huge tusks and quick runners. A dust cloud accompanied them. "Please wear your protective gear now. You will be given a spear each, unless you chose not to participate. A quick demonstration will take place, and then we shall join the hunt."

Everybody was helped off of their Weso.

Everyone watched as the demonstration began and they put on their suits, all were ready to go, even the old queen was looking like she was ready to run the olympics.

All waited for Waki to give the signal...
[NS]Minuta
23-11-2005, 22:22
The guides looked at Waki, he looked back. They all nodded. "FETARI!" The scream came up within the Minutan, as all remaining Weso charged almost seemingly head on into the movement. They levelled out and ran side by side with the beats. The screaming remained, dying out slowly.

Waki Duris'ha led by example. He controlled his Weso, gained confidence, and sculpted his face muscles to protect himself from the dirt being kicked up. His Weso remained at a constant speed. His pulled his spear from within the spear holder on the Weso and took aim at a prize beast. He drew back, and at the last minute saw a different beast. He launched his spear and caught the beast right in the heart. It fell and the rest of the wild beast ran around it, the spear clearly sticking up amongst the movement. More spears were being thrown. As each spear was thrown the Weso broke away from the movement.

23-11-2005, 22:26
The group rushed to catch up, and Roshan was shown how to target one of the beasts and threw one, catching it in the eye and felling it instantly. Everyone else threw a spear, and few hit. Only Wershak's hit and even that hit a leg of one. His guide didnt want to ruin the hunt so threw his spear, killing the beast.

Roshan saw Wak Duris'ha ahead of the group, and sensed he was in danger. When he noticed one of the creatures charging behind Waki

"Look out!" Screamed King Roshan

Waki Duris'ha spun around....
[NS]Minuta
23-11-2005, 22:35
The Weso let out a mighty roar and threw it's immense body weight onto it's hind legs. Waki held on tightly, looking in control. The beast saw the Weso and run around it, narrowly avoiding the huge foot that was coming down on top of it. Waki patted the neck of the Weso and drew another spear. He threw the spear, catching the back of the foot of the beast, pinning it to the ground. The others had not been told to throw both, only one.

He dismounted his Weso and walked over to the beast. Drawing out a sword, he threw it through the neck of the beast. A squeal came out, and was cut short by the beasts death. Waki walked over to the party, clutching the beasts head in one hand.

"What you have just experienced is as our ancestors did, and we still do. Our weapon of choice used to be the spear, and in few cases still is. Guns have replaced them. A beast who dares to attack a Minutan pays the price."

Waki Duris'ha was cut off by a High Minutan. "His head shall go on the wall above the painting of our leader in the Palace of the Ancients. Very few have had this honour. The beast must be dismembered while alive. Think of it as a medal."
Ftang
23-11-2005, 22:40
"Interesting." Commented King Roshan, "You have quite a culture." looking at the head and what the High Minutan said "Are we done here?" He asked

He looked round, and saw the question on everyone else's faces.
[NS]Minuta
23-11-2005, 22:46
"We are. I hope you enjoyed this experience. You will pleased to know the beast you killed," Waki Duris'ha indicated to the beast being collected by the guides. "Will be the meat of choice at tonights meal. Others will be available. It is a succulant, tasty dish though."

The beast were loaded onto one Weso and the rest of the Weso bought over. "If you wish, you can continue to ride your beast. We will be visiting a unique Minutan before returning to the Palace of the Ancients."

One Weso started off back towards the Palace, the one holding the beasts.
Ftang
23-11-2005, 23:12
Roshan had a quick discussion with everyone and they came to a conclusion.

"Yes, we will happily continue riding the Weso, they are spectactular creatures. And to thankyou for the hospitality you have offered thus far, we give you this: He pulled a sword from his scabbard, "This is the sword I used in the story I told you, it is yours now." He bowed and offered the sword to Waki Duris'ha
[NS]Minuta
24-11-2005, 07:45
Waki Duris'ha was taken aback. "If you are sure. I thank you for this spectacular gift." He seemed genuinely shocked.

He took the sword and held it. He seemed to check its weight, and then stepped back from the king and swung it. "This is a well built weapon. Thank you my friend." He took the sword that slew the beast and threw it to the ground, leaving the handle sticking out. He slid the new weapon into the sheath.

He bowed to King Roshan. He never expected anything like this to happen.

A High Minutan stepped in on the moment. "Shall we move?"
Ftang
24-11-2005, 19:00
"Indeed we shall." He said. And approached his weso. All the others followed their king and mounted their creatures as well.

"Ready when you are." Roshan said smiling at Waki Duris'ha
[NS]Minuta
24-11-2005, 19:28
The party began to move. Waki Duris'ha explained where they were going while moving. "This Minutan is special. He is unfortunately declining in health due to age, but he is still quite healthy. Why are we visiting him? All will become clear later."
Ftang
24-11-2005, 21:20
"I look forward to it. And look forward to showing you our culture back home."

He was glad that Waki Duris'ha accepted his gift, it showed he was truly and honourable person. All he wanted now, was to learn all about the Minutan culture. It was very impressive..
[NS]Minuta
25-11-2005, 07:43
The party continued on their journey. The guides were talking in the tongue they had done before. Soon enough a small hut appeared. "I shall go ahead." Waki Duris'ha rode off into the distance, and entered the hut.

The party arrived at the hut, and Waki Duris'ha emerged with another Minutan, who looked different than any other. "This is Requ Dobango. He is 2,945 years of age, the Minutan who found the ship technology and weapons, as well as the one who first tamed a Weso. He has been greatly involved in our cultures growth. He is a legendary Minutan soldier as well, no longer fighting."

Requ Dobango walked slowly over. "Welcome to my home."
Ftang
25-11-2005, 08:18
"Thankyou," Roshan said as he extended his hand. All of his group formed a greeting line.

As each of their hands were shaken they bowed. This was the person who made these people who they were. "How did you do it, I mean tame the first weso?"
[NS]Minuta
25-11-2005, 17:59
"The first Weso, I take it you mean taming it?" Waki Duris'ha smiled behind the talking Requ Dobango. He neede everything spelled out to him. "In that case I would say a lot of hard work. It took a week. Just earnt its respect, after twenty weeks in the inhospitable terrain and being a two Minutan war verteran helps. I spent one long week seperated from my group defending myself. I learnt how to avoid being crushed by them, and, it all sort of went from there really. It a long time ago."

Waki Duris'ha spoke. "The two great Minutan wars, the first and the second, the only two, this is the one Minutan who has fought in both."

A High Minutan spoke. "We have respected him. Apart from ourselves by tradition, this is the only Minutan who is in all cases excluded from social takeover. Living out here, his choice, helps as well."
Ftang
25-11-2005, 20:39
"Very amazing." said Roshan as he shook his hand, worried that he may squish it. "The closest person we have to you is my uncle, fought in two great wars, and constructed the first lightsaber our country ever used."

Indeed, his people had used lightsabers before, though they preferred normal weapons instead, all the people of Ftang are sensitive to the force yet some do not use it.

"And to choose to live out here, shows you have quite a strong will."
[NS]Minuta
25-11-2005, 20:46
"I hunt for my food, like I am told you have been shown and even participated in. You come to rely on your skills in terrain like this." A wind began to blow. Requ Dobango looked over at Waki Duris'ha. "I think we should go inside."

Requ entered the small hut first. The rest followed. As they entered the hut they were greated by a staircase, which led down. "Please excuse the mess, I am working on something."
Ftang
25-11-2005, 21:42
"No worries, you should see my brothers room." He chuckled, "May I ask what you are working on?"

General Korsax brought Queen Lorica in, she was beginning to suffer from the heat.

"May my mother lay down somewhere?"
[NS]Minuta
25-11-2005, 21:48
"Of course! Please." Requ picked the queen up and carried her over to a bed. He spoke to a High Minutan. "You know where everything is, cool her down, hydration." He patted the High Minutan on the back.

"What am I working on?" Requ smiled. "A new technology, never seen by Minutan before. You may know of it? A weapon."

He walked over to an alcove in the wall. Pulling back the curtain, he wheeled out a trolley with a large firearm on. "What's it called? At the moment my project." He smiled again. This was his passion.

Waki Duris'ha walked over to Queen Lorica. "Are you feeling better? Anything you need, we can provide. I have called for transport back. The guides will take the Weso. When we get back you can rest further."
Ftang
25-11-2005, 21:51
"Thankyou Waki. I appreciate the help. But I do not wish to ruin the joy for you all."

"You wont mother, in fact you made it better by joining us." Roshan said. "Your project is astounding, how long have you been working on it?"
[NS]Minuta
25-11-2005, 21:55
"So far, no longer than a year. The core heats up, and projects a highly explosive substance. This is a slow moving but highly dangerous substance that can kill on impact. It also has the capability to blow holes in objects, such as a war machine we encountered in the second Minutan war, or a ship of some kind." Requ picked the weapon up, and waved it about. "Its heavy."
Ftang
25-11-2005, 21:57
The scene became quite comical as Roshan ducked multiple times while Requ waved it around.

"May I hold it?" It was passed to him. His arms almost immediately fell to the floor beneath the weight. "It is very heavy....obviously requires one of your strength to carry it." He handed it back
[NS]Minuta
25-11-2005, 22:23
"As I said, a work in progress. If i could get the weight down it could be made not only as a hand held weapon but on ships and on non-moving targets, such as buildings."

A Minutan came half way down the spiral staircase. "Sandstorm is dead! Transport arrived, when ready."

"That is your call. I am more than happy for you to stay longer if you so wish."
Ftang
25-11-2005, 22:29
"I thankyou for the offer but I feel we should be heading back, I will visit the next time I am here though, that I promise you."

The group headed up towards their transport...
[NS]Minuta
25-11-2005, 22:34
The party sat in their transport, and Waki Duris'ha emerged a few seconds after they had settled, with Requ Dobango in tow. They exchanged words and Waki boarded the ship.

The whirring that was becoming commonplace to the guests began to get heavier. "We shall be arriving shortly. You have plenty of time to get ready for the feast we have to offer you, don't worry about time." Waki Duris'ha stood through take-off and sat down once they sped up.
Ftang
25-11-2005, 22:38
Roshan began to feel like a Minutan, though nowhere near the likeness of one, but he knew all about their culture now.

When they landed back at the Palace, the party headed off to their individual rooms. Roshan changed back into royal clothing and Queen Lorica wore her prettiest and most royal gown. The Generals wore their uniforms, and the rest wore suits.

All were ready for the big feast...
[NS]Minuta
25-11-2005, 22:55
The gown was placed upon Waki Duris'ha.

The High Minutan wore fully adorned robes, and ornamental staffs accompanied them. They were first down to the main lobby. The first guest arrived. Haji Kelumbar, one of the leading generals. He was dressed in full military dress. A stern Minutan with an excellent command over his men. Fight or die. One of the most revered generals in Minutan society. To serve under him required great skill.

Waki Duris'ha waited up in his room.
Ftang
25-11-2005, 23:06
Korak saw the Minutan arrive, he was indeed impressive. He knocked on his King's door.

"My liege?"

"Yes Korak?"

"I think the Minutan are ready for you, their first guest arrived."

"Excellent."

Roshan, his brothers and the Generals waited in a line outside the dining hall and awaited the guests....
[NS]Minuta
25-11-2005, 23:11
Waki Duris'ha made his way downstairs, going down a minimal distance in comparison to the sheer scale of the building.

"King Roshan, I hope your mother is feeling better?" He waited at the end of the line, waiting to introduce the guests. A few more ships landed, carrying more guests. Servants rushed into the room to attend to the guests.
Ftang
25-11-2005, 23:18
"She is, thankyou for your concern. Sadly she won't join us. She needs a lay down at the moment."

As he saw the guests enter the palace he stood upright and began thinking of ways to greet them.
[NS]Minuta
25-11-2005, 23:23
"Good to hear." Waki was preparing to introduce the guests.

The first came up, and the two greeted each other. "This is Haji Kelumbar, a high ranking general." Waki Duris'ha's voice was different somehow, more the voice of authority and control.
Ftang
25-11-2005, 23:34
"Pleased to meet you General Kelumbar." Roshan said as he shook his hand with a very respective posture, then followed Wershak and Rolinov and the Generals at the end.
[NS]Minuta
25-11-2005, 23:39
The four further guests were beginning to enter. Waki Duris'ha introduced them one by one.

"Feris Limbar, fleet commander."
"Gwens Salwe, high ranking general."
"Hars Maxpf, fleet commander."
"Julo Qpo, leader of the Guerado corps."

Waki Duris'ha followed the High Minutan into the room.
Ftang
25-11-2005, 23:52
"Pleased to meet all of you." After shaking hands he headed into the room followed by his group.
[NS]Minuta
26-11-2005, 00:00
The table was quite a sight. Laid out with overly clean cuttlery and plates, with an assortment of dishes laid out on the table already.

One High Minutan stood. "The feast in honour of King Roshan, leader of Ftang, and diplomacy between Ftang and the Minutan." He conjured sparks of fire to fly from his long fingers in all directions lighting every candle along the table. The wine opened itself and the dishes uncovered in a spectacular display.

Salads were uncovered, as well as sauces. Servants filed out with meats. A head servant announced the meals. "Honourable guests of Ftang, Minutan, today we have wild beast hunted by the skilled guests. Alternatively we have Karama, meat from a Rel, another wild animal. Feast and be merry!"
Ftang
26-11-2005, 00:12
Everyone gasped when everything uncovered and the candles lit.

"Quite a guy you have there." Roshan said to Waki Duris'ha

All around the table the guests of Ftang dug into the food. Wershak made special use of the sauce sat next to him and Roshan had a bit of everything, but more salad than anything.
[NS]Minuta
26-11-2005, 10:46
The Mintan began to eat wild beast or their Karama, both delicacies.

Julo Qpo leaned over to Korak Reeming. "You are the leader of your people than? Or am I wrong?"

Conversation was starting around the table. Feris Limbar began to ask questions. "A people such as yours must have an impressive fleet?"
Ftang
26-11-2005, 12:02
Korak said to Julo "I am half the leader, the King over there governs me, and I govern the people."

Wershak heard Feris "We wouldn't call it impressive, we have really just started to use it, what about you?"
[NS]Minuta
26-11-2005, 12:08
"Thats an interesting form of government. Mind you, you probably think ours is wierd, heh?" Julo smiled.

Feris thought a bit about his answer. "The technology I would say is uncommon but good. It can hold its own. We have a good set of commanders as well. My partner in crime over there, Hars Maxpf, would agree. It is small though, enough to give transport to our moons and defend our system. We are building it up quite alot. We have a big fleet almost finished for travel to other areas of the galaxy. Our fighting force is not as big as our transport. The transport ships are, dont get me wrong, armed. They aren't exatly the best fighters ever though." He stopped before a gave an even longer answer.
Ftang
26-11-2005, 12:16
Korak smiled at Julo comment, "It is very interesting though."

Wershak told Feris "Our is just being set up really, but don't get me wrong we can defend ourselves against invasion, but not ready to go conquering all willy-nilly."
[NS]Minuta
26-11-2005, 13:26
"I don't think we will ever get into destroying worlds with our excellent fleet. On the ground battles are our strong point, as you may have guessed. The enemy can see us easily, but by the time they've seen us its too late." Julo smiled. "They can run but we run faster."
Ftang
26-11-2005, 13:36
"I'll make sure I never face your people in battle then." Wershak sniggered.

All around the table people were digging into the food like hoovers. Roshan had never had a feast like this before, and wanted to make the most of it.
[NS]Minuta
26-11-2005, 13:42
Julo laughed. The break from the command of the Guerado Corps was a welcomed one. It was great that the Minutan could finally forge an alliance with someone. They had been alone for many years since the fall of their last allies, something Julo remembered well. The Guerado Corps were the ones who fought the invaders back from Minutan land. He had just come in control at the time. He was also the one who ordered (since the leader had just died) the destruction of their super-fleet, something which wiped out all spacecraft in the sector, even the Minutan.

That war had not come without cost.
Ftang
26-11-2005, 13:49
Wershak could tell something was wrong, but didnt want to be rude.

The guests had soon had their fill of food, and began to stand up...
[NS]Minuta
26-11-2005, 13:52
Waki Duris'ha stood. "I hope you all enjoyed your meal? I look forward to long years with you by our side. You are welcome to stay the night, or you may leave now. The choice is yours." He approached King Roshan. "It has been good having you stay my friend." He extended a hand.
Ftang
26-11-2005, 13:56
All nodded in agreement, Wershak thanked them and headed for his room followed by the rest.

Roshan shook Waki's hand "I thankyou for inviting me, you are a good friend. I wish that we do stand by each other for generations, or in your case 1/4 of a generation." He laughed and headed to his room, "I think we will stay the night and leave in the morning."
[NS]Minuta
26-11-2005, 14:04
"Your rooms were prepared for another nights stay. You may leave when you like." Waki smiled. He watched Roshan leave, and turned to the High Minutan.

"Har Hulit." Waki looked worried. Something bad had happened. "He is dead."

Waki looked at the floor. "Har Hulit is dead?" He couldn't believe the fighting Minutan ahd finally died. He knew it was repairing his ship. The ship was malfunctioning and blew him back against a wall at over 1,000 m/ph. His inards were crushed and he died without pain thanks to the High Minutan.

He had served the Minutan well.

Anyway, IC:

Waki Duris'ha approached the party about to leave. "It has been great having you. I hope you enjoyed your stay, and we look forward to the wedding. Congratulations on your engagement. Oh, before I forget..." Waki clapped.

The High Minutan emerged from the room behind Waki, each holding a number of spears.

"Remember I said each spear was imprinted with your name? There was a reason behind it. We wish for you to take away a souvenir of your stay, so here it is, your own personalised spear. They have been made in the same way our ones are, and in exactly the same style, nothing has changed except the fact that your names are etched into them." Waki took each spear one at a time from the High Minutan and handed them to each of the guests, shaking their hands.

"Thankyou, I will be honoured to have you at my wedding." said Prince Rolanov bowing.

"I thankyou Waki. I hope we stay friendly for generations, for you would wipe us out in a war." a smile appeared on the Kings face. "We shall make preparations for you back home and will telegram you when you may arrive."

He turned and walked out the doors into the ship that took them everywhere, his robes flowing behind him. The rest of the group followed suit and entered the craft...
[NS]Minuta
28-11-2005, 18:14
Waki Duris'ha stood there with the five High Minutan. Waki couldn't wait to experience their culture. "So?"

The High Minutan looked at him. "Verg good. We should keep this alliance strong."
"They seemed to have a genuine reason for the alliance."
"They were good people, they seemed they would keep their word."
The last two nodded.

Waki knew they were after the best interests of the Minutan and so was he, but he had forged a true friendship over the last few days and that now mattered. In a society where your friend could be killed and you not be able to do anything about it, you need a friend you know will stick around. In Waki's eyes Roshan was a great man, scared of his position slightly, maybe a bit childish, but still a great man, one in a million.

[NS]Minuta

We are ready to leave. Our ships will be leaving in a couple of hours. A reminder, there will be me and 10 others.

Waki Duris'ha

The message was relayed to King Roshan.

"The ships are ready." Waki Duris'ha joined the High Minutan and generals and commanders that met the party that came to Minuta.

The huge ship, the 'Jurad', was part of a small fleet, the escort to Ftang. They would stay in orbit while the visit took place. The ship itself was capable of defence, but the Minutan were taking no risk. The ship left the ground with some difficulty, as normal. Once it got going however, it was fine. It took a fair bit of the ships energy to lift the weight from the ground. The ship left the atmosphere, joining the fleet. They picked up speed and travelled in a defensive formation.

The ships commander, Nabil Pa, was experienced and by no means new to transporting high ranking Minutan. Not only was the ship a fortress in its own right (but still small enough to land in a spaceport), many decks were dedicated to luxury for guests. Each Minutan had a room to stay.

"Entering hyperdrive."
"Ready."

The ship shot through space and time as it entered hyperspace. It wouldn't take too long to reach Ftang. The High Minutan, generals and commanders alike all went to get ready for their arrival. Waki Duris'ha was already prepared. The new culture they were about to experience greatly excited him. He couldn't wait.

The first ship dropped out of hyperdrive. More joined it, and eventually the last few did, among them the Jurad.

"Your highness?"

"Yes."

"The Minutan have arrived in orbit."

"Excellent, have Admiral Kori guide them down."

"Sir."

***********

Meanwhile in orbit. Admiral Kori got his message and headed over to the leading Minutan ship and relayed a message.

I am Admiral Kori of the Ftang Starfleet, and have been assigned yo guiding you to the city of Gersono. Please follow me.
[NS]Minuta
28-11-2005, 20:59
"Follow."

The ship turned and slowed down considerably following the lead ship. The remainder of the fleet remained in space. They tracked the position of the ship and made sure they were in orbit roughly above the city.

Waki Duris'ha walked onto the deck. "Nabil! I take it you are well?"

"Yes, I am. You want an outdoor image?" Nabil smiled.

"You know my curiosity too well." They both laughed as an image flicked up on the screen.
Ftang
28-11-2005, 21:03
Admiral Kori landed his vessel outside of the spaceport and made his way there as the Minutan ship began landing procedures.

"Keep quiet." Roshan signalled to his people

Roshan stood looking into the sky, and behind him stood his family and the generals who had joined him at Minuta. All were quiet, with the exception of a crying baby...
[NS]Minuta
28-11-2005, 21:19
The ship opened up, as the High Minutan exited, closely followed by the five generals and commanders. Waki Duris'ha stepped out. He looked about and met the eyes of King Roshan. He approached him and took his hand. "Its a pleasure to be here. I can already see this place is much different to Guerado. I like it."
Ftang
28-11-2005, 21:39
"Glad you like it." he looked around and asked two people to come near. "This are my wife and newborn son." he held the baby and rocked him back and forth, and then looked up and passed the baby back to the lady "I shall show you where you will stay."

Two men approached and bowed, "Your highness, the cars are ready."

"Excellent, please follow me..."
[NS]Minuta
28-11-2005, 21:42
"I didn't know. Congratulations! The both of you..." Waki bowed over the newborn baby, probably scaring it. He smiled, before looking back at the King. "Now I know why people make such big deals out of babies." He smiled again.

While walking with Roshan to the transport, he continued talking. "Does he have a name?"
Ftang

"I did not know either, he was born while I was visiting you. So my wife named him Korsax. After our General over there." He pointed to Lord Korsax behind him.

He walked through two large stone doors that lead to the main streets of the city. They were greeted by a roaring cheer from the crowds gathered there. Two robed men stood by the door and followed Waki closely.

"Allow me to introduce your personal guards for the trip, Jedi Masters Jik Mooba and Henry Koon." Roshan said as he noticed the figures. "Here are our transports for the time you stay." and before them lay two huge, wide cars...

"Hmm..." Waki smiled. "OUr transport is impressive and out jedi guards seem like they offer protection. Thank you."

Waki followed the party in to the transport.

"Our first stop shall be the market, then we shall head to the palace, where you wil be staying." As soon as everyone was settled the convoy set off.//

"Sounds good. Is this a big market then?" Waki was expecting the palace to be spectacular.

"It is the main market in all Ftang. If you wish, you can purchase some meat to sample," the convoy halted "Ah we are here."

A door opened and you could see hundreds of stalls lining the streets for about a mile in front...

"We certainly don't have anything like this." Waki looked around him with the eyes of a curious child. "It's impressive."

The rest of the party gazed in awe, except the High Minutan who had foreseen this. "This is quite impressive." Julo remarked.

"As I said, feel free to purchase any meats, most of it is plain here." He handed them a few hundred Laicums each "Use this to buy stuff. We shall meet back here in about ten minutes."

The King dissapeared into the crowd along with his brothers, while the rest of the party waited by the cars....

OOC: I won't be here from 6pm till tomorrow.

"Thank you."

Waki wandered off with his party. They had no intention of buying anything, but they found the place fascinating. The smells, the things they saw, the sounds, loud by Minutan standards. The party sure did attract some wierd looks. They looked at stalls, and slowly began to split up. The High Minutan stuck with Waki.

Waki wandered off with the High Minutan to a wierd stall full of odd objects. They were fascinated. The person on the stall didn't seem shocked about the Minutan, their size and look.

The stall owner was expecting the Minutan, he had heard much about them,

"Ah, Waki Duris'ha, leader of the Minutan I presume." he bowed

"Do you wish to purchase something from my stall?"

"Hello there. You seem to know a bit about me. I am only browsing, I am fascinated by your stall. What may I ask is your name?" The High Minutan were inspecting items.

"My name is Kruso Loreman, son of Franko." he bowed again. "Most of the nation knows about you. Ever since the King left to visit you, you've become the highlight of the nation."

"It is a pleasure to meet you." Waki picked an object up from the stall. He examined it. "Hmm... interesting." He placed it back.

One of the High Minutan came up to Kruso Loreman. "Could you please explain this item to me?" He was clutching a small metallic ball.

"That my friend, is a few things. It is used mainly for levitation practice, watch" he pointed his finger, the ball rose and then fell back into the High Minutan's hand.

"But it is also an antique bullet from 1875, passed down through generations of my family. If you didn't know our weapons back then used to fire these out of barrels at the enemy"

"That was certainly some time ago." Waki was amazed.

The High Minutan who had asked lifted it off of the table using his power and placed it back where he had found it. He glanced at the shopkeeper and continued browsing. He walked over to a box. The other High Minutan began to assemble near the stall, apparently waiting to leave.

King Roshan saw the Minutan from a way away, due to the height. "Shall we depart?" he led them back to the cars and they headed off the palace...

"Of course." Waki saw the rest of the party had returned before himself. "It certainly is a magnificent place! Do you come often?"

Waki couldn't stop looking at it while talking to the king, they definetly had nothing like this on their own planet.

"Rarely, only on big occasions like this one. It can get quite dangerous around here."

Suddenly screaming began to be heard close by. Roshan leapt into action and sped through the crowd. "Giyaango! I thought I banished you." is all you could here from Waki's point of view,

But the King had met a long time enemy, whom he had banished for murder years ago. And instantly you saw a man fly out of the crowd and land painfully on the stone steps that led to the carriage....

The whole party looked. Waki looked at the High Minutan. The man was mysteriously lifted from the ground and fell on his feet, seeming in a state of paralysis, unable to move anything but his head.

"Sorry that this happened now, but he should have never been here," an all new rage appeared in Roshan's eyes as he bellowed at the criminal. He looked at two guard behind him and they carried the man off. "Please let us continue.."
[NS]Minuta

"Certainly." Waki looked at the High Minutan. The man suddenly gained life again and started to toss his body about, perhaps attempting to break free or his body reawakening after its inflicted paralysis.

Waki followed the king.

OOC: No worries

Ic:

"No problem, it was my honour to have you here." the car jolted and he looked out. "We're here, please follow me." he stepped out, followed by Waki and the High Minutan.

Before them lay the Palace of Ftang, home to many previous Kings. Roshan was but the 14th to live here. It's courtyard looked more like a forest, and it's high stone walls glistened in the sunlight. The stone doors were made of pure oak, the finest ever. Roshan smiled as he observed his guests reactions...

Waki looked upon the building, he was amazed but did not show it on his face. "Very impressive indeed." The other guests were more obvious about their like for the building. They followed Roshan inside wandering aimlessly gazing about their surroundings with great interest.

As the doors creaked open, about 300 guests turned their heads to see the king, dwarfed by Waki and the High Minutan. A broad man of 60 strode up to Waki and introduced himself:

"I am Wero, Roshan's uncle. And I guess you are my nephews friend Waki Duris'ha?"
[NS]Minuta
14-12-2005, 20:13
"You would be correct. This may to you seem a rather stupid question, but I shall ask it nonetheless. I know what a mother and father are, siblings and some others, but what is an uncle?" Waki felt quite stupid but he was a curious being.
Ftang
14-12-2005, 20:28
"An uncle is the brother of a persons father. Roshans dad was my older brother and so I am Roshans uncle." he explained, trying not to do so in an evil way. "I hope he has been good to you." he flashed a smile at Roshan.

"Thank you. That must've sounded like a stupid question. King Roshan has been good to me, very good. I see a long future together, that I hope will endure through good and bad." He then also looked at Roshan.
