Amehein, The Capital: November 20, 2005
In a scene of awe and fury, dissenting thinker and author Andrzej Mikhailyevich was escorted into a slick, black sedan by loyal Proletarian Guard infantry from his bourgeoise-style apartment in Amehein, after publishing a pamphlet condemning Arov's recent Socialist Revolution as "an understandably bleak moment in Arov's history, for what will the Worker achieve but bring about a change that is nothing more than a unitary feudal fiefdom in which all Workers are vassals to a single Lordship, regardless of their condition?" in an article regarding the unearned income that is our State's economic foundation; of course likening our all-pervading welfare system to vasselage. Upon reading his comment, the Workers were outraged that he would be willing to return to the days when the Fascist Imperialist Borkhal ruled the Socialist Republic of Arov, whom they overthrew to the waving of scarlet banners. In an anti-Mikhailyevich rally in the Amehein Square, thousands of protesters and representatives from different Worker's Councils shouted "Down with Imperialism!" in interludes in stirring speeches by Li Zheng; our Minister for the Promotion and Teaching of Marxism; Eduardo Lapaz; the President of the Supreme Worker's Council; Peter Blacksmith; our Minister of Worker's Income; and Mikhail Borokhov, our Revolutionary Vanguard and Supreme Chairman. All reaffirmed Arov's National Commitment to promote the World Socialist Revolution by welcoming Communists from all ethnicities and backgrounds into Arov, and said that Mikhailiyevich's actions constituted a security threat to all inhabitants of Arov by threatening to undermine the system the People themselves had put in place when they fought in armed warfare against the Imperialists and Fascists. Red banners decked the streets and shops, and floods of them were waved by the protesters in solidarity with our beloved regime. They blew, dignified and proud, in the wind.
Mikhailyevich, in the meantime, has been transported to the Borokhov Internment Facility where he awaits interrogations as to his loyalties, his whereabouts, and his livelihood to protect our citizens. So-called Human Rights organizations have issued condemnations of our Worker's Regime for violating "freedom of speech and expression," to which our Chairman replied in a press release: "a nation shall not be judged by how it treats its enemies; it shall be judged by its long-term progress and service toward its inhabitants." He continued by saying "the existence of enemies is only indicative that the world has not achieved a perfect society, which can only be possible if leaders concur with their followers. We have achieved that to a great extent here in Arov, and the Workers trust our government so much that they are willing to recieve our unearned benefits, and as nations are measured by how well they treat their people, we can see that the Arovian Government has done much to increase our citizen's welfare. In a society like ours, Mikhailyevich's actions could have caused great destruction by arousing the passions of the Imperialists who are in control in other parts of the world, posing a military threat to all our people as well as the people under the Imperialists' yoke, as well as threatening the people's interests by threatening their chosen income system that keeps them alive. We are merely trying to continue our existence in the way we see fit as a nation, just like you continue your existence and identify under Capitalism, so please do not restrain our entire nation's 'Freedom of Expression.' Through this, we are protecting the world's most important right: the Right to Life, the way we see fit, within our own nation. Feel free to debate our actions, but you are only hurting our people and their chosen Ways by doing so."
