The "evil dictator scum", as termed by many Sel Appans, General John Alexander, has been found in a tunnel complex in the Shizl Gzngahr Territory. Soldiers on patrol at the border discovered the complex when they heard muffled and unidentifiable noises coming from what appeared to be solid ground. They walked around looking for a machine and found a small area where it was loudest. Sgt. Ron Libre said:
"I took the butt of my gun and banged the ground with it. Nothing happened, but the noise stopped. We then both took our guns and banged again. This time we felt the ground beginning to give and ran a few meters back. What was solid ground was now a crater with bullets flying out..."
The squad then radioed for help and soon the scene was swarming with soldiers. They found an enormous underground complex and the opening was an Oxygen Purification Room. The tunnels even went acroos the border. In a secret compartment near the border John Alexander was found. The compartment was discovered by accident when a soldier was leaning against a dirt wall.
The former leader is now in custody and will begin his trial within a week. Charges include murder, manslaughter, and treason among others. Some counts are in the thousands. Chancellor Ngu Phuok Dinh says even a slow death is not enough. He has suggested that Alexander be strapped to a table and paralyzed up to his neck and then his mouth kept open so he does not suffocate himself. He should be fed "some sort of mush" daily.
