The Imperial Raven

When a Soldier for the Imperial Raven goes to war, they do not go unprepared. From birth these things, that fit under no definition of human, are trained to kill and survive for years on end. Their mentality is one of conformity, unison and togetherness that coupled with the technology they weild gives a new level of co-ordination among their ranks.
Before birth, however, clones such as the Imperial Raven Infantry often undergo risk as part of creation. Scientists noticed that extensive genetic modifications caused huge instabilities within the clones that would endanger them even after birth, and so sought a solution.
The answer was this; the scientists took the human genome and altered it beyond recognition. This genome was then taken apart and the individual changes were compiled into a chromosome, designated Z.
During the creation process, chromosomes are produced. This is a delicate and difficult operation and results in a huge percentage of defect chromosomes, and so large numbers of each used to form an embryo to ensure success.
However, although the Z chromosome is accepted by the X and Y chromosomes, there are problems. Around 30% of the time the Y chromosome is displaced by the combining and readily replaced by a second X. This leads to the clone produced being female, and although there was origionally scepticism tests proved that the female soldeirs were equal to the males in combat effectiveness.
It is fairly uncommon for the Y to be dislodged in the first place, it was incredibly rare for a second Z to take its place. Until now the "Subject XZZ"s, as they were known, had been terminated or frozen for later inspection.
Subject XZZ's are, simply put, monsters. They sport horrific mutations and genetic defects that put them in a constant state of pain. Resulting insanity takes its toll on intelligence, and a XZZ bears the mentality of an aggressive, rabid and wounded gorrila.
A scientist paced up and down the cloning chambers nervously, taking notes on the progression of the various subjects. He stopped cold when a hand was layed upon is shoulder, and he turned to see Dr. Lee Adams himself.
"What is this?" The leader of The Imperial Raven asked, motioning to an XZZ that was frozen.
"It... Its a defect of the cloning program, Sir, we usually destroy them."
"Destroy them? I have a far better use for these creatures, as i'm sure that a good proportion of them could swing a pickaxe. Get me the man in charge of this operation package up all frozen specimen of the XZZ.
The Kraven Corporation,
Due to a recent change in our cloning method, we have been left with many defects of the program which until now we have been terminating. We estimate that the probability of defect is 2%, and tough this is low it is easily amplified when we produce so many soldiers.
I am writing to inquire about your interest in purchasing such beings, as with minor modification they would make ideal candidates for hard labour. As you have such a high death rate in your mines, we believe that these specimen are much hardier than humans and would be capable of working well in these conditions.
I'm sure we could find a reasonable price.
