King Gurshak IX passed away peacefully in his bed at the age of 79. He was loved throughout the nation and everywhere mourning ceremonies we packed with his subjects wishing to pay respects to him. The biggest ceremony was at the Ftang capital of Gersono, at the Royal Palace. The heir, Prince Roshan, and his brothers Wershak and Rolanov, were to give speeches in honour of their late father.

After Wershak and Rolanov gave their speeches, Roshan started his:

"My people, I know my father was loved, and righfully so. He pulled this nation out of bankruptcy and disorder that he himself created and which I was born into. He never gave up, and you respected him in return. So I say this, give me the same respect you showed him, as I will carry out both yours and his will and make Ftang the most prosperous nation EVER!!!!!"

A huge cheer rose from the crowd. Roshan had been respected as much as his father for many years. Due to his wants to build defenses around Ftang and never wanting to wage war, the people saw him as a kind and loving person who would do anything to keep his people happy.

The coronation happens in two days, and all leaders of allied nations (Priscilla d'Avignon-Elyrie, Duchess of Elyria-Lorain, and the leader of Dyik Raah) and fellow regional leaders are invited to show their respects to the former king Gurshak at his funeral that day as well.

At the oposite side of the city a single halfdragon (dragona) was heading to the ceramony, not on foot but in flight, high enugh to avoid detection below but low enugfh not to triger a panic or an alert. Speaking into his comlink he said "...yes honored emporer, from my evaluation of this nation they would be great allys, I hear thier ruler has just died, should i offer your condolences to his child?"
" Yes, and offer them aligance. Actuly better yet, give him a mobile holo projecter, i shall do it my self, for politneses sake if nothing else."
" by your will it shall be done, my lord." he said as the channal close, he picked up his pace slightly.
