The Ordo II Imperium of Andaras Prime is quite disturbed with Optischer's intention to sell out his own people to the highest bidder, that they cannot be patriotic within their own country, but rather be in thrall to money-hungry capitalists from a foreign land, how can your nation hope to survive? Where everything is based on the dollar. My imperium is willing to liberate Optischer from it's oppressive foreign collaborating government to secure to peaceful transition to it's own self determination, or if necessary, to become part of the Ordo Empire to ensure peace and stability.

As the declaration of war reverberated through the WCDF, the steps that were needed to arm a nation for war were put in place. Infantrymen were shaken out of their beds by telephone calls at home which ordered them to take their rifles and mobilize at the front, pilots were awakened and ordered to go to the nearest air base, and tank crews were assigned to tanks that would be sent to the front.

However, the Air Force had a special mission to start the conflict; take fifteen F-15s from all over the country, link up over the Optischerian border, and launch a pre-emptive bombing strike on the Optischerian capital, with the infantry and armour following later. This would constitute the official declaration of war by West Canada on Optischer.

Those were the words Tony Johnson, President of the Democratic Imperium, hated to hear. Usually it was Torontia facing total destruction or a backwater nation's frigate getting lost in Saharistani waters. Sometimes it was something as trivial as an IMAF Security Unit at a foreign airport picking up Global Jihad members on live T.V., or IMAF planes landing MTFAM's inside the door of a terrorist mastermind.

This time, it was much more simple. A small nation had a bad leader who wanted to sell them out. It wasn't really any of the Imperium's business, as several years earlier they had even HELPED someone do a similiar thing.

But the McKagan Military hadn't shown it's supremacy at gaining and holding air supremacy in a long while....

The Kurora UCAV, built on the same airframe as the famed Ku-29 Vick Air Superiority UCAV, sat on the runway. Painted black, it was designed to slip into enemy airspace behind larger air columns, gather information, and get out.

Needing no pilot, and no one person to sit and watch over it full-time, the aircraft rocketed off towards it's navpoint. That point was fairly out of the way, near what would be the rear of the allied wing in 4 hours.

Climbing to it's maximum altitude, what made it a UCAV finally took hold. The plane accelerated up to Mach 10, speeds no human could survive, and headed for it's target much faster than a maned aircraft could have.

Dick Winters was still going over the situation in his head. His nation had just declared war on another nation, which meant that he would probably have to fight along with his nation.

His squadron leader stood up.

"It's a go," he said.

"Finally," Dick thought to himself. His squad had already been briefed on the mission. After a McKagan unmanned drone had taken out defenses surrounding the Optischerian capital, he and his squad were to dive in and bomb the Optischerian Parliament Buildings and an electrical station just outside the city.

As he walked out into the warm night, it struck him that he would be serving his country for the first time. "What a good feeling that is," he said to himself.

The alliance only acts if half or more of the members agree to, and only if a nation presents the situation to the rest of the alliance. As Nebarri Prime is not going to present this unless the war ends up on Nebarri soil the alliance will not be involved. However if you do wish for transport of your 5th army we do have many Austin class LPDs you can have them ride on.

OOC: I know you don't know this but all my ships are slightly different then the real things as are all my military units. i am not a fan of using NS made ships though changing RL ships i can live with as for Super Dreads i do not like them but will rp with them because i have no other counter (i have not shown anyone my SD as i have not worked out all its stats but the basics are in place for rping and here i cam going on about SDs...ok to the IC post

OOC: Well we both don't have any offensive vessels, only the Austin transports Keller loaned to us, so Emperor Keller can hold up Questers blockade fleet while we land in the country and begin attacks against fortified positions. Without ground reinforcements Questers ships should retreat. We hope.

A series of digitally-enhanced photos flashed across the large plasma screen that encompassed an entire wall of the Oval Office. The images blurred until one paused and stayed in place. A small red dot suddenly flickered to life on the screen, and began making a lazy circuit, penetrating the darkness that was broken only by the faint glow of the screen and the colour photographs on it.

A deep voice broke the silence, all eyes turning to the individual who possessed it. "As you can see, there is now a sizeable naval force from Questar operating within the naval boundaries of Optischer. If you all look at your folders, ladies and gentlemen," A rustle of paper followed the voice as the small group of men and women in the large room turned to the manilla folders and selected the correct page. The deep voice paused for a second until the noise abated, then continued. "The Questarians have placed what would appear to be an entire taskforce into the theatre, if not more; our intelligence estimates on the Questarians designations are still lacking in several areas. However, theirs would appear to be the largest force within the theatre of operations."

A thinner, female voice piped up, interrupting the first. "General Crombie, what other forces are stationed in the area?" Crombie let out a barely audible grunt, then tapped a button. The photo on the screen changed from an enhanced view of the Questarian fleet to a much wider view, encompassing several seperate groups of vessels. The red dot moved again, centering on one group of vessels and lingering there. The General continued, annoyance tinging his reply. "As you can see, Madam Vice-President, this next reconnisance photo from the KEYHOLE system shows the other nations fleets around Optischer. There would appear to be four major groupings. Here, we have the Nebarri Prime fleet. Being the largest power in the area after Questar itself, the Nebarri Prime vessels are the most dangerous. Information is limited, as we have little intelligence on this nation, but they would appear to be the main opponents we would face."

The photo changed once again, showing more vessels - this time a much smaller grouping. "Here we have the vessels of a nation identified as Andaras Prime. A tiny nation, they seem to have shipped in some seabourne troops, and may be preparing for a strike on either Optischer itself or even the Questarian fleet. There are other vessels in the area from several smaller nations, but they present no problem; their vessels are inferior and outnumbered."

A richer, more melodious voice than the first two rang out now, coming from the man sitting at the end of the large desk. "Thank-you General, very informative as per usual." General Crombie nodded to the President. Flicking a switch, President Martin turned the lights back on; the plasma screen receded into the wall noiselessly. "So, we have a situation here ladies and gentlemen. As part of the new Questarian Commonwealth, we seem to have no choice but to send in our military forces to aid the Questarians...despite some reservations." He flickered a glance towards the Vice-President before continuing in the same tone. "General, what forces do we have in the region at the moment?"

Crombie spoke without hesitation; he had been prepared for this question. "Mr President, we have the Carrier Republicana and her CVGN two hundred miles from the theatre, on the way back from New Veritas. The Rezo is about a day behind her with the Third CVGN Taskforce. The Rezo is carrying the 20th Mechanised for deployment into Nerotika, but they can be deployed in Optischer if needed."
He paused for a moment, then went on. "Mr President, if I may speak freely?" Martin nodded. "Sir, if we must deploy, then we'll do it, and win. But sir, Optischer is a shithole, pardon my language. We've reconned it using UCAVs from the Republicana a day ago. Its a tiny nation, hardly any population, and a pitiful military at best. If we invade, we'll take losses from those fleets gathered around the Questarians, and who knows what else. And all for the honour of planting the flag on a tiny nation that has no strategic, economic or even social purpose. Sir, we don't need another Nerotika."

Martin looked up sharply. Mentioning Nerotika was a surefire way to get his attention. He had never wanted to invade that hellhole, but it had been deemed neccessary. He turned to Crombie. "General, send the two fleets in. But, and I cannot emphasise this enough, they are to make no agressive moves towards anyone there. You understand? Unless our vessels, or the Questarians are fired upon, we do nothing but show the flag."

I deeply understand your concern and need to look over and protect the small nation of Optischer in this situation, as a Commonwealth you feel a desire to protect the sovereignty of such nations. But I beg you to understand our situation, as small and seemingly defenceless as Optischer is, it's oppressive and greedy leader attempted to sell out his own people's culture and heritage for money. In my experience the crime of destroying one's patriotism is the worst possible, to rob an entire people of their pride and nationality. This is the kind of nation that you protect, that you risk the lives of your naval servicemen to protect, I'm certain he would not do the same for you, his corrupted capitalistic desires would sell you out for money if he got the chance. "Admiral, we are approaching the coast, land 325 degrees off our bow Your Lordship."

The First Sea Lord himself had decided to accompany Admiral of the Red Burney Walsh, Captain of the Warspite on this mission.

"Excellent. Continue on our current course for another 18 nautical miles and then set bearing 0. We'll travel parallel, showing the flag and such." Walsh lookde at the First Sea Lord, Michael Tolworth. The man had an aura of power that was detectable to anyone who got near to him and only those who resembled a similar amount of power, such as Burney Walsh, dared to even look him in the eyes.

"Do you agree Your Lordship?"

"Hmm..yes. Continue with your orders, Admiral." Tolworth answered after a few seconds.

"Very well." Walsh looked back out to the seas from the navigation deck.

Several minutes later, the Satellite Ensign piped up.

"Sir, we have GPS position on a Canadian battleship. Not sure of pennant or class, approximatly 600 nm away."

"I see. Size, Ensign?" Admiral Walsh briefly replied. (OOC: I'm going to guess here, but im assuming you won't have anything close to the Warspite or the Revenge)

"Nothing that can compare to ours sir. We should be able to remove her from the field of conflict peacefully." the Ensign reported.

Questers has now shown his true colors, he does not care for the Optischerian people themselves, but merely intends to preserve his monopoly of trade assets in the region. It seems we have one money-hungry capitalistic nation protecting each other, how can such an empire survive, were everything is based on the dollar? By the conviction of the mighty Imperium of Andaras, and the strength of our resolve, we shall win through and free the Optischerian people, no matter the cost!
