OOC: Your best RP?

Sure, we see all these topics going on, nations milling about, trading with one another, destroying eachother and the like, but there's always one (at least) that stands out for you as a member of NS. This was probably partly due to the fact that it was yours. There's always a little sense of pride in your work, so it's natural to be able to pick a favorite of one of your masterpieces of trade, diplomacy, attack, defense, whatever. So then, what was the best RP you've ever been in?

I'd have to say that so far (although I'm relatively new), the best yet for me is probably my newest:

I have yet to find one where players didn't suddenly spawn out an unstoppable army or some sort of event that would otherwise strange.

I'll keep looking, but I'm hoping for a good RP soon.

Strangely enough, my RP with you is also my favorite so far. Maybe because the idea is more original, and maybe because it was among the first RPs I started as this nation...but still.

The ones which Listenisse has help moderated. Zondo-Porkomise and Kilani were two great wars which Listenise provided stats and allowed for politics to play important roles. No dog-piling in either of the wars as well.

Though, I'm thinking of leaving II and sticking to NSUN RPs. I prefer politics and bald-face lying, not godmods and armies.

I'd have to say Shentavo Academy year 1 or Realm of the Risen.

They're tied in my book.

Here, I'll give you a linky to my old "transition to future tech rp."

It comes in two threads. There's only a couple of minutes of combat with some unexpected space pirates. No unstoppable armies.

Incidentally, this is my nation's "defining" RP, well, other than the civil war now in progress.

Part 1: Evil Woody Thoughts seeks FTL technology (attn FT nations) (http://www.forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=398392)

Part 2: EWT Reaches for the Stars [semi-open, intro FT RP] (http://www.forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=401528)

I hope you enjoy reading an RP almost entirely devoid of war. A purely "political" RP. Seems to be a rare thing sometimes, doesn't it?:)

Any of the RPs that I do with Jenrak. Together we can read a good story. Plus, Jenrakā€™s nation is fun to RP in.

I've started many RPs that I will never forget, but here is one I took a lot of pride in.

Abomination! (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=385455)

Please don't post in that thread, it has been dead for a long time. If anyone feels the need to comment or discuss it, please do so here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=439271).

hard to say, the Nuevo-Kowloon war was good-a huge war with over 6 nations in, and a mad emporer, a coup, risistance movements, and two caracters (Dinh and Alex) running around-great fun. But it all got DEATED by Jolt.

That would have to be my old Puppets (Spooty) Riots, that ruled, grabbed the most attention than any of my other RP's and i've so far not been able to top it, and with several RP's going down the pan i'm beggining to question my actual ability to RP.

I'd have to agree, although I do think that Realm of the Risen II: Angel's Holocaust (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=7827049) is equally as impressive and perhaps better written (at least in my opinion) from post to post just from us growing as writers.

But the third Civil War thread and RotRII are my best to date.

All of my RPs with Generic empire are always great. Never had many of them, but they were good.

Also, the Operation Brimstone RP. I mean granted it led to the downfall of NATO and the RWC (I think) but eh, it was fun.

The one I liked the best? Me fighting me, with Trans helping me fight me.

Sorry Trans, but I lied. It wasn't my sister, it was me ( insert diabolical laughter ).

I should finish it, but Sanduras got deleted and I'm too overwhelmed with lazinesss to ask for it to be revived.

Precisely how I feel... that is until I get to school and realize I had six hours of homework I didn't do, all of which I have to turn in that day.
