Galaxy: Antaries Galaxy
System: Deatharon
Planet: Deatharon Prime
City: Shadowloon City
Location: Imperial Citadel

The Imperial Citadel at Shadowloon held an meeting of the Dukes of the Great Houses Grand Shadow Empire of Deatharon. The head of the meeting was the Shadow Emperor Alfred Von Antheron.

The meeting was called together by the Arch Duke/Avatar of the Antarans Nym Kazar. The Arch Duke had been given an order from the Antarans. The Gods of the people of Deatharon. The Antarans have given an order to exterminate all non Deatharon citizen races inside the Empire.

The Arch Duke and head of the house Kazar saids telepathicly through the link, "My Fellow Dukes we have a great chore ahead. The Antarans have given me the orders to wipe up all the humans and other unworthy species inside the Empire."

The Grand Shadow Emperor Alfred Von Antheron responds through the Link, "They order the Grand Shadow Empire? To wipe out the humans and other non Deatharon species?"

The Arch Duke responds via the link,"They see these species as unworthy of life and demand that they be destroyed. Do we dare earn the Antarans wraith? I say we begin the great purge. by sending the Ithkul drones and the Imperial Warfleets to hunt for these inferior species and destorying them inside our space."

The Duke of House Krell Ivan Krell responds with the link, "I will gladly send my Ithkul drones agaisnt the inferior races inside the Empire. I do not wish to earn the wraith of the Antarans."

The Duchess of House Mizar Aluria Mizar responds, "I suggest we find an alternative means to this problem. The Inferior races outside of the Empire would not like this mass Xenocide effort."

The Duke of House Sstan Kabal Sstan replies, "The Inferior races are of no concern for us. but many of them make up our market. If we start hunting them inside our borders they make start to blockade our trading posts or boycot our products thus hurting our economy. That will weaken the Empire."

The Grand Shadow Emperor saids, "I have made my choice in these matters. The Inferior races will by hunted inside our space unless they have citizenship from a recongnized government or they are allied to the Grand Shadow Empire. Thus we appease the Gods and the other inferior races."

The Imperial Decree was sent out to the universe from the Outposts along the Grand Shadow Empire's borders:

To: All non Deatharon races
From: The Imperial High Command of Deatharon

From this point forward all humans and other races not from the Grand Shadow Empire are to be Exterminated. If you wish to trade or enter Imperial Space. You must register yourself to the Imperial High Command central data base for security reasons. We do not wish for citizens of other space faring nations to be harmed by our internal inquistion forces.

OOC: The Deatharon Species look like Illithids or Mind Flayers. Here is a link to a picture of what they would look like: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/9/9b/Illithid.jpg

They have considerable Psy powers and eat the brains of other races. They are highly arrogant and view other races especially humans as inferior. They believe in the Antarans a powerful race of Ascended beings like the Ori and the Ancients. The Antarans use the Deatharons to further there own ends. The Arch Duke is there Avatar or the equalvent of the Ori Docci. The Speaker of the Gods. The Shadow Emperor is the only one who out ranks the Arch Duke. The Grand Shadow Empire consits of Deatharons and Ithkul. The Ithkul are the primary ground forces of the Grand Shadow Empire. There are pockets of human held planets that the Grand Shadow Empire plans to attack and wipe out all life on said planets...

Subject: Mass Annihilation Decree

You choice in eliminating nearly all other races within your controlled empire is, at best, controvertial in our opinion. However, it is not our position to judge your Empire's standing. That does not say that this decree does not interest us, though. Quite the contrary.

You see, we feel that we have come up with a solution that may help both of us. We are willing to purchase the freedom of each and every being of a race not of the Grand Shadow Empire. We are also willing to transport said peoples out of your territory. If this would interest you, please respond before beginning the execution.

Signed,
Dinar Jetz, CEO of Gadget Corporation

We are happy that you will agree to this, and should we win this "Auction," as you see it, we will provide the means with which to transport these people.

Our current offer is 50 Universal Standard Credits per person, and considering that there should be at least several hundred billion persons, the final price will be a hefty amount. We are also willing to negotiate discounts on GadgetCorp-Brand products, should it be necessary.

Signed,
Dinar Jetz, CEO of Gadget Corporation

The Imperial High Command was shocked that the outsiders had not condemed the Grand Shadow Empire of Deatharon but instead wanted to buy them from the Empire. Which pleased Imperial High Command immensly. They waited for other offers before agreeing to the set price.

A second message followed the Gadgetcorp communique.

--Official Communications--
To: The Imperial High Command of Deatharon
Subject: Your Genocide
It has come to the attention of the Hakurabi council of Social Affairs that the Deatharon High Command has been planning on committing mass genocide against innocents. As a result, we are forced to condemn you as a matter of protocol. (The tone of this section is clearly half hearted and bored.) Killing is evil, We cannot stand by and watch you do this, we implore you to not do this, and so on.

Right then, now that we've satisfied our superiors, we wish to make a counterbid for the lives of the doomed. We are well aware that Gadgetcorp has offered 50 Universal Credits per head, and we neither have the funds nor the willingness to outbid that price. However, we can suggest a more material deal - one that does not rely on theoretical electronic currency that can be falsified.

We offer per being:
- 10cm^3 or 25kg of any material we have in our stockpiles, whichever is larger.
- 10 minutes manufacturing time to be used at your discretion

As well as:
- 1 major construction for every million beings diverted to us instead of genocided
- Our warm thanks

We can see nothing wrong with the Godular offer. We have little enough room to accomodate them and it may be wiser to allow them to apply their superior capabilites to relocating them rather than attempting the monumental task ourselves.

As such, we will provide said matching of bid by Godular, or add our offer to it if they wish to do so.

The Imperium shall double the Godulan offer for procurement of such exquisite human resources; we are far more open minded than you when it comes to the usefulness of foreign pawns. Any given to Chronosia shall be welcomed into every walk of life; from Imperial Guard and Penal Legions; to common professions. Xenos shall be examined to increase our knowledge of such alien species; and all shall give us a clearer picture of the Deatharon people...If that is the correct term

The Grand Pre-Universal Imperium laughs at the decrees of your Antarans. They must have lied their way to ascension, for such foul and simple creatures could not have advanced to the necessary 90% mental development. It is the opinion of the great Alpha-1 that they must have worn a costume of an ascended being.

The council of the lords of Deatharon
It has come to our attention that you plan to exterminate many of the people within your borders. We demand you put an imediate cease to this, or you will feel our wrath. In addition, all parties who have expressed interest in 'purchasing' these people are now deemed null and void under any protection laws. You have been warned.
Your's, Malaki of Warshrike

In this Ill be playing a race similer to the Drej from Titan A.E. They are pure energy and incredibly powerful, but there arent many of them

The Imperium; having no relations or connections to the morally chained and enfeebled peoples of Warshrike sees no problem with this. We would not wish to associate with those who would so blatantly seek to chain others in their sanctimonious sentimentality. To a ruler his people, and all people, must be as pawns upon the board. One plagued by concerns shall only nurture revolution in the populace by granting their people anything they wish. Freedom is a dangerous tool...We repeat our offer of double any Godulan offer.

((It's a strain on the budget, but we really only needed the Commerce, Defense, and Transportation funded anyway. Also, as a note, the 10 per Head is the year after the Raw Amount is paid, and the 5 per Head is the year after that. And I put 50 instead of 5 by accident for the Constructionary Projects. I'll fix that now.

As for what I'll do with them, see the second-to-last post on page 1, about the Permanent Employee Program))
Godular
19-11-2005, 20:03
We will now double the offer again (x4), which when included with Hakurabi's contribution is now five times the original offer.

We will also provide three Heighliners free of charge. This should increase overall trade efficiency by at least an order of magnitude.

~Sirzan Aktei

Getting over this is gonna start raising questions of whether you're actually funding a good deal. And if you pull that stuff GC, its not only gonna put a heavy strain on your economy, but diplomatic relations will likely just get severed at the neck.
