The *small* nation of Amiro, which recently has seen great economic growth and is a member of my region, The Kingdom of Elendor, has expanded their military by more than 100% within the last two years. The Imperial Government sees this as a threat and has issued new act. The "Amiron Military Act" which should cut the Amiron military into smaller parts has yet to be signed by the Amiron Government.

1#. The Amiron Defense Force must be cut from 1,000,000 active and 3,000,000 reserve to 150,000 active and 350,000 reserve. The Amiron Naval Defense Force must restrict its ships to the largest class of a ship as the "Kirov" and no larger. The Amiro Air Defense Force must restrict long range planes to the range of 1,000 KM.

2#. The Amiron Government must surrender the Outer Amiro Isles to the Imperial Afrikaan Government.

3#. The Amiron Government must submit all economic, and military growth to a Imperial Review Committee.

4#. The nation of Amiro must become an official Protectorate of the Imperial Empire.

5#. The people of Amiro musn't launch any offensives against the Imperial Empire, and must submit to all our laws.

These laws are to be expanded as Amiro grows and the restrictions will be loosened as soon as they are occupied by Imperial Marines. If the Imperial Marines face any resistance they are ordered to fight back. We hope we do not have to ruin the Amiron economy just to secure our nation. The Amiro capitialist league is fully supported by the Imperial Economic Commision, as Afrika has a completely free-market economy. However the current free-market socialist government is against the Imperial Empire and poses a threat.

Any refusal of the terms will result in a fullscale war, and may cause damage to the Amiro[n] Nation.

[OOC: This war is a real war to bring democracy to Afrika and should be completed as soon as the I surrender. Some good-meaning nations that really want to bring democracy to over three and a half billion people could help Amiro out maybe...]

The 1337 3mpir3 will NOT stand for the country of Amiro being oppressed by the now dictatorship called Afrika. If any harm comes to Amiro we will be forced to reinstall the peace in the country by any means nessicary.

Secret IC -

The INS Warning was a large problem for the Amiro Socialist Cabinet. The government thought the terms were unreasonable and knowing the aggressive past of the African Empire, the government ordered the army to be doubled within the next week. The current standing army was 4 million it was to be 8 million by the end of the week. The units should be formerly trained or former boy scout members. The navy was prepared and the air force gathered up all their trainers for combat operations.

"The INS demands are unreasonable and completely idiotic. If these demands were carried out, we would no longer be a nation. Please rephrase your demands in an acceptable form. Such as tributes and island seccesions. If this debacle continues, you are certain to lose."

Official Phoenixius Message

We shall not let the nation of Amiro be taken over by AfrikaZkorps. Though we have in the past had good relations with AZK, we believe that this new move means that the leader of AZK has been compromised in some way. Thus, if AZK makes any form of offensive moves against Amiro, we must be forced to act. As of now, Phoenixius is going to DEFCON 3, in preparation for the hostilites that are bound to happen. We are mobilizing our forces, and should be ready for rapid deployment should AZK move.

[Secret IC:] The airbase at Kinagel Airport was loaded with large bombers capable of carrying large amounts of bombs. All over Afrika the Luftwaffe was preparing for war. The planes each were able to carry enough bombs to level a small city. The luftwaffe had assembled more than 500 bombers for the operation. "Operation: Tarkin Horde".

It had been a few hours and almost all the planes were ready for the bombing run. The oldening fighter escorts of Su-37s were flying along to drop small bombs and take out other fighters. At 0:600 hours the first squadron took off and was followed by hundreds of more planes, from all over Afrika. Over a thousand planes had assembled.

Hours later some of the fighters broke of the group. They flew at full speed to bomb the Outer Amiron Isles. Flying at more than mach 1, the planes flew *relatively* low and dropped their bombs all over the military and civil institutions. They then attempted to return to Afrika.

The main force continued for the main Amiron cities. They began to arrive over Amiron air space. [Approval from Amiro for this part] They began to unload bombs all over the entire area. Flak guns lit up the air. Missiles began to be let loose, and hundreds of parts of shrapenel flew in every which way. Su-37s engaged the F-16s and F-15s of the Amiron Air Forces and more and more planes fell while the city below was illuminated. The incedinary bombs had made the area so hot that some planes had to pull up to avoid the heat, which clogged their engines.

After nearly the entire city had been bombed the main force turned and began the run home. The city was burning and the bombing force was nearly destroyed.

Phoenixius High Command

"AfrikaZkorps has begun their attack. They have levelled several areas of Amiro, suffering major losses in return. After their inital launch we activated our fleets, which began heading towards AfrikaZkorps. As of this moment we are mere days away from hitting back at AZK! We have air cover and submarines running interference all around the fleets. It seems at this moment in time, AZK is preparing to attack Amiro, and may not notice our fleets. However they soon will."

"Very well. Authorised the use of lethal force, and begin the invasion of AZK as soon as possible. Any news on the other nations that have offered to attack AZK if he attacks Amiro?"

"Nothing yet. However it is still early days. We should be getting some responses soon."

As the news of AzK's attack on Amiro reached 1337 (later than it should have, resulting in the killing of a few correspondants) the 1334 3mpir3 assembled a large attack group and sent it on it's way to AzK. All Attacks had been authorized. The group wasn't trying to be stealthy at all just moving at full speed towards the now "rouge" nation and hoped to with just sheer numbers scare AzK into a peaceful surrender, this was of course not to be expected so everyone was on full alert and ready to start, and finish the war as quickly as possible

[Preparations and Division]

The Officials of the Afrikaan Flakvolksmacht units are ordered to prepare for naval and air strikes upon our nation. Vanheer and Nineveh Guards were ordered to active duty through-out the nation. However, due to a recent development the Reichsmarine, Reichsluftwaffe, Reichsheer and Reichsheerreserve have all been discoutned as a reliable source of manpower. The conventional military has mutinied. Low morale and terrible defeats in the last three battles they have fought have left them nearly pointless. Not only were they conscripted for 2 years longer than normal, but they had served on average in over 10 battles - in under a year, with 300 combat tour days a year.

The Afrikaan Reichswehr was near the breaking point. Having outdated Type 99s and other various tools and equipment has lead to major defeats and desertions. However, recent capitalist rebellions and victories, many have voulenteered to join their resistance forces and even mutinise. This has lead to more than half of the nation being under the Afrikaan Capitalist and Evagelical Party[ACE] and the Trade Federation of Capitalists and Employers[TFCE].
