10790 STATE NEWS- "Last night at 10:30 Big Brother II was tragically taken down in his prime by what investigators say was an assassination by sniper-rifle. Two shots were fired striking Big Brother in the forehead while on the balcony in his home; with the nation in tears the government has increased investigation efforts in order to bring the killers to justice. Despite this tragedy the Party has yet again succedded in keeping order by announcing Big Brother II's replacment, Maximilian Batista is now Leader of the Dictatorship of 10790. Batista has recieved three State Honors for bravery in combat during the first war with Bonstock and has served as Party General Secretary since then in which crime rates lowered, factory efficiency improved 60%, and the Young Spies League uncovered ten spies which were executed. Though our nations have been mutual enemies for (NS time) years. We are in sorrow over the Loss of Big Brother 2. Though weird and a little crazy, we respected him as an Advisary. We hope that his widower, Leon Marchar can get over this loss. Hard times are upon us all, there is an ill wind blowing through the world. May you find those responsible.
