Symposium on World Order I [Signup]

Golguz and Golhod

It is the year 2077 and the world population is just beginning to recover from World War III, recovering to a period a great civil unrest after the fall of the PNSSA, the Proletariat Nationalist Socialist State of Arov, which had taken over half the globe. Golguz and Golhod, since our independence from the PNSSA, has suffered massive economic failures and bureaucratic stagnation, along with the other ex-PNSSA nations. We, on behalf of all the ex-PNSSA nations, call for a world government that will end the civil unrest without repeating the atrocities committed by the PNSSA. However, we already have delegates from all over the globe asking for a dictatorial solution to the World Government problem, and we cannot refuse their say for fear of starting another war.

We wish to use this symposium to make known our social experiment: the "SATRAP Project," a summary of which can be found in its world factbook entry if one types "The SATRAP Project" into the "Region" space provided on the "World" page and press "enter."

To sign up, you must type your nation's name and ideology. For ideologies, choose from this list, the list we have acquired from our surrounding nations:

Centralized, Oligarchic, and/or Military-Based:

Tribalist (rule by tribal councils/chieftains)
Pure Anarchist (mob rule)
Fascist (state control over all aspects of life)
Militarism (rule by a military junta, "success lies in military")
Feudalist (rule by hereditary hierarchy)
Secular Monarchist (rule by a secular monarch)
Religious Monarchist (rule by a monarch that claims divine right)
Constitutional Monarchist (rule by a monarch whose powers are limited by a
parliament)
Theocratic (rule by clerics)
Corporate Anarchist (rule by a corporate junta)

Right-Wing Federalist:

Corporate Libertarian (small government checks to corporate activities)
Corporate Conservative (moderately small government checks to corporate
activities).
"Moderate" Conservative (jobs through corporations that are moderately controlled)
"Big-government" conservative (government responsible for the promotion of
free trade worldwide)

Left-Wing Federalist:

Liberal Capitalist (emphasis on the consumer more than the corporation)
Socialist Liberal (emphasis a bit more on labor and jobs)

Socialist (ranging from very light to intense):

Democratic Unitary (governs as one single political unit, power delegated to
lower levels by elected higher levels)
Pure Marxist (means of production controlled by the working "proletariat," no
earned income, capitalists are "egocentric" and "dehumanizing")
Democratic Socialist (socialism through evolutionary, not revolutionary means)
Anarcho-Communist (collectivist, gift economy (collective institutions give
services, you give back or else be isolated), no money)
Leninist ("vanguard party" for the proletariat fueled by industry and urban
development, working-class presumably represented through Marxist
councils called "soviets." Advocates "world revolution" starting in
poor countries)
Stalinist (revolution in only one nation so it can make deals with capitalist
nations, peasants under the "vanguard party"
continue the proletariat regime, institutionalized killing, torture,
and imprisonment of dissidents)
Trotskyist (world revolution, "bourgeoisie revolution" in underdeveloped
countries could not fulfill goal of providing impetus for a socialist
state, opposes deal-making with capitalist countries, supports
social democracy)
Maoist (like Stalinism, peasantry emphasised as the key for the proletariat
revolution mobilized by "vanguard party," rule by the gun, mass-
mobilization of industry, control of the arts and sciences, "class-
struggle" continues after proletariat revolution)
Council Communist (rule by a labor council oligarchy)

Technocracy:

Technocracy (power to technical experts over private industry)

Other:

Whatever you wish.
------------------
If you choose other, please write the term you use for your ideology (such as "Tribalism" for "rule by tribal councils or chieftains) and include a small blip like the ones you see above.

-------------------

Here's my entry as a model:

Incorporated States of Golguz and Golhod
Other: Democratic Judicial and Parliamentary Technocracy
"Two parliaments, one made up of politicians in control
of industry, the other made up of elected representatives from
business, academia, labor unions, the military, and nonprofits.
Pressure groups and unions who forward candidates for the latter
legislature must have their candidate approved in a Nobel Comittee-
type setting with the Chief Justice presiding. Chief Justice chosen
by legislatures, Head of State elected popularly. Rule by third-
parties as well as government represents many
aspects of society without encroaching on rights/freedoms. Power
balance should remain static. Emphasis on education."

As you can see, my entry is at the limit of how much one should write. It also has a summary of the argument I will put forth as well. Other people who choose "other" should do the same so we can get aquainted with your new, original form of government.

Your entry should reflect what your nation's government thinks would be the best form of World Government. Members should be able to rp their stances effectively.

This should be an incredibly heated and fun discussion with many twists and turns.
