Sir,

I wish to express my condolences to the families of the agents killed in the duty of protecting your nation's President and wish the President a speedy recovery.

Please be assured that the ICC will be able to assist you in the investigation of this assassination attempt, although such a crime falls outside our mandate of holding a trial as this can only be held in your country.

We thank you for your condolences. Understandibly, the nation is still in shock at the tragic ordeal.

We believe at the current time that the attack was done by a citizen of Novgova. As soon as Capital Police and the Lipany Police turn him over to the Criminal Investigations Bureau, he will be questioned and then charged with the attempted assassination of a president, and treason.

Breaking News

Lipany, Novgova- The person in custody has been questioned and now charged with the attempted assassination of the president. He has been identified as Colonel Alexei Radik of the Novgovan Army, 41, a veteran of the Obebian conflict and dozens of classified and claudestine operations throughout the 1990s.

Strangely, Capital Police are hesitant to release the motive to the public. Even more strangely, the Capital Police are refusing to transfer the Colonel to either the the State Police or Military Police. It is unknown whether this decision has anything to do with the motive at this time.
