The Armed Republic of Kravania announces it's discovery of a large scale operation in Stoddenia to manufacture chemical weapons and to supply these weapons to terrorist groups.

Stoddenia is an oppressed, poverty stricken and barbaric communist nation, led by a genocidal and power starved dictator. There have already been numerous reports of ENTIRE VILLAGES IN STODDENIA BEING BURNED TO THE GROUND AND IT VILLAGE INHABITANTS, SOMETIMES NUMBERING 500 PLUS HAVE ALL BEEN KILLED. Soddenia has a large number of concentration camps and extermination camps for it's alleged political enemies. Torture is SO WIDESPREAD AND PAINFULL that in many cases, the prisoner would beg for the execution.

Stoddenia, like all terrorist regimes across the world, believes it is on a mission to spread their Bolshevik ideology across the entire globe and impose it upon nations without their consent. This is why Stoddenia is making chemical weapons and this is why Stoddenia intends that their WMDs fall into the hands of criminal terrorists.

I am alarmed at this report. While we were vaguely aware that Stoddenia was a communo-terrorist nation, we hadn't any idea that it was plotting to arm terrorists with WMD.

As for the Global Law Court, the idea of submitting such a proposal is as preposterous as the ideas of democracy or the United Nations. By the time a decision is reached, Stoddenia may be already using these weapons. Now is the time to intervene and we will stand by any nation that does so. Interviewer: Mr. President. Apparently, our nation has been called a terrorist nation by the Empire of Kravania. They claim we are producing chemical weapons. They claim that the head of our Military defected to Kravania and testified that this sort of thing was going on. What are your responses to these charges?

President: First of all, who knew we had russians in our military? Malahek? Does that sound like a Stoddenian Name? We have names like Gomez, and Martinez as surnames in Stoddenia. But let's also think about this, folks. IF there was a disgruntled member of the General Staff, who fought for ten years for what was never anything other than a socialist revolutionary movement, and fought his way up through the ranks to become a general in that socialist movement, would he become disgruntled immediately upon recieving the object of what can arguably be his life's work? And then would he defect to a country that represents the exact OPPOSITE ideology from what he risked his life for for the last 10 years? How unrealistic is that, and any nation that believes this deserves to be dominated by the ruthless imperialism of Kravenia, as it appears that some nations already have.

Let's get real here. How this "nation" Kravania can make the logical jump from "social revolution" to "WMD's" is beyond me. There is no connection between these two ideas. One does not equal the other, as Kravania seems to be claiming. I mean if I am wrong about what they are accusing us of, please, correct me. It seems that they are saying that since we completed our revolution, we have been creating stockpiles of Chemical weapons. Does that sound reasonable? We have schools to build, we have an infrastructure to CREATE. Where would we get the money, time or expertise to build Chemical weapons?

But all that is aside. Their chief complaint against us is that we are organizing a Socialist International Conference. They don't even list that as one of their complaints. But I have a tape of them denouncing our innitiative and calling us terrorist for trying to organize this. I can play it for your station if you like. Let me tell you what I do think about Kravania. I invited them to send observers to our Plenary. I invited them to check us out and see that we are not trying to attack their ideology. This is about Kravania's opposition to our plenary. One last thing. I invite the entire world to look at their government. They talk about us oppressing people. But we are the WORLD BENCHMARK in civil rights. they merely have "Some". We are shocked to hear these allegations about Stoddenia. We are very opposed to the use and even ownership of weapons of mass destruction due to the innocent civilian loss they cause so often, and especially so if a terrorist nation is being supplied with them. The Holy Imperium agrees with these terms and will aid if military force is required to bring Stoddenia to justice.

We would like to offer our support to Stoddenia in protection against the Global Law Courts and other nation's hostilities until there is proof whether or not there are actually weapons of mass destruction. The simple accusation of WMDs with little to no proof has ruined nations before, and we won't just sit around and let it happen again.

We fully agree with allowing weapons inspectors into the nation, but the other terms being forced upon Stoddenia are rediculous. Why must they make such changes based entirely upon the word of one nation? It's madness.

And to the Global Law Courts, this is your first action, is it not? You completely throw any semblence of justice out the window and tell them to overthrow their ruler or be invaded. The huge fleet had waited outside Bandurian waters for two weeks, awaiting its orders. Its original destination of Neoma had been cancelled due to the withdrawal of the enemy before Imperial intervention was possible. Since the fleet had stopped here, several hundred miles from the Bandurian coast, it had been repeatedly reinforced by more groups of destroyers, frigates, submarines...even supercarriers and superdreadnaughts escorting transports, supplies, and munitions for the four Legions and the 300,000+ Fanatics aboard the fleet.

Any attempts to proliferate weapons of mass destruction among terrorist organizations is clearly unacceptable. However, we do find it peculiar that these charges have been levelled by a nation as young as the Armed Republic of Kravania, with scant resources for an intelligence operation of the magnitude necessary to support these serious allegations.

We would suggest that if a more renowned nation could corroborate Kravania's findings, it would go a long way towards legitimizing the hostility exhibited towards Stoddenia. Otherwise the possibility must be considered that Kravania is operating with its own agenda.

So your member nations may be larger combined than mine, but a coalition army will never be as well organized as a single nation's army. Our nation still has the means to fight against your so called larger force. We make our own weapons, keeping the best for ourselves. We do not rely on outside organizations to equip us. We too have our branch of military trained from early ages, but most of our military is conscripted out of high school and given some of the best training in the world.

People of the Stoddenia. The time is now. You are to take your weapons everywhere you go to. Every last one of you who can pick up a weapon are to do so. They have been distributed among you. You will listen to shortwave radio and other alternative forms of communication for the call from your district commanders, who will let you know when and where you are needed. We have decided that if there is some method to ensure that weapons inspectors will be neutral and objective, then we will permit them to inspect the entire country from top to bottom, simply to clear our name. They will have full access to any and all sites, and will discover the state that our nation is truely in. However, we cannot imagine that these inspections will dissuade the nations who are coming like vultures to pick apart the living flesh of our country, and so every person is to be on alert. Let me explain the High Ecclesiarchy's thinking. To them, this has nothing to do with Stoddenia at all, but is a threat to Xirnium's vital security.

Basically the High Ecclesiarchy is absolutely furious that Kravania has falsely claimed that Stoddenia was planning hostile action against Xirnium. This is because that claim could easily have led to war with both states (if it had been true, or if Xirnium had thought it was true, they would have launched an invasion of Stoddenia).

This armed campaign has nothing to do with Kravania falsely claiming Stoddenia has terrorist links, Xirnium couldn’t care less whether they do or not, so long as they don't threaten Xirnium. What they do care about is a nation who seems to have tried to drag Holy Xirnium into a major war for its own ends. Trying to incite a war through an innocent agent is just as bad as if you had declared the war yourself, as far as the High Ecclesiarchy is concerned.

And also there is the fact that the High Ecclesiarchy doesn't appreciate other nations taking them for fools and being deceitful in order to get Xirnium to fight its wars. (By the way, I don't think it was Kravania's initial aim to try to get Xirnium involved in a war with Stoddenia, but they misjudged it seems).

Initially, your cabinet would have been correct. Such a statement is no longer true however, and Xirnium has already begun to join the leading nations of the world in its commitment to democracy and civil liberties. For example, few nations can boast a judiciary as independent as ours, with huge powers of legilative review. Also, the "psychotic dictator" no longer rules Xirnium in any sense. Perhaps Southeastasia might consider an eventual warming of its relations with Xirnium.

OOC: If AMF attacks Xirnium - he will face me too - and i don't plan on ever falling to AMF. I think many people need to wake up - he wins easily because at the mere mention of him they all go "oh no all is lost" - just as you think, easily seen according to your earlier posts.

Operation Righteous Fury – Phase 1

On the forward deck of her flagship, the Iowa-class battleship HMW Indomitable, Rear-Admiral Patritisa watched quietly as yet another Block IV Phase II TLAM cruise missile blasted out of its armoured box launcher and towards its target somewhere near the Kravanian coast, followed by more launches. The salty air thrilled the Admiral, savouring the ocean in all its majesty. The love of the sea.. it was a joy that every sailor had. Frothy white waves surged against the prow of her warship, which was steaming ahead at flank speed towards Kravania. Thin misty spray from the slicing of the bow through the water spread over the decks.

The initial phase of their war against Kravania had begun, and several minutes ago the Rear-Admiral had given the "begin firing" order. The mighty Xirniumite warfleet had already launched many dozens of cruise missiles at military targets all along the coast and inland. These included RADAR installations, air force aerodromes, naval bases, armoured vehicle pools and SAM and AA sites. The objective of the cruise missile strike was the neutralisation of Kravania's ability to resist an aerial bombardment.

Flying at extremely low altitude in order to avoid enemy RADAR or countermeasures, the cruise missiles where to travel distances up to 900 km away at speeds of over 880 km/h, guided by advanced GPS systems for precision targeting. All of the cruise missiles were armed with over 450kg of high explosives. The Xirnium High Command was committed to ensuring that only military and no civilian targets were destroyed during this offensive, and to this end Xirniumite spy satellites were constantly monitoring Kravania and its military installations in extremely high-resolution, gathering reams of intelligence.

It was quite an impressive sight, with scores of missiles being fired by both the surface ships and submarines. In the meantime, jet fighter aircraft screamed as they took off from the decks of the aircraft carriers of the fleet, circling to keep a constant air guard in defence against any possible aerial or naval Kravanian threat. Helicopters also scoured ahead, providing a deadly threat should any enemy submarines attempt to engage the fleet.

So it begins, the Admiral thought darkly.

OOC: Isn't AMF's reputation mostly based on excellent roleplaying skills? I thought the idea was to Roleplay well and have a good war, not to win or lose.

On another note, there are limits to what Secret IC can safely be reacted to and what cannot. On one instance, The Cassiopeia Galaxy (Hatarian Puppet, I believe) tried to 'Secret IC' a Death Star test. On the other hand, some things that are not specifically labeled Secret IC are, by their nature, secret anyway. I suppose it comes down to discretion, and in my opinion should be used only for things that could be both open and secret, like the piracy fleet.

OOC: I'm not going to roll over and die if I tick off AMF. I'll probably make his life as hellish as possible before I drop. Not to mention, he has rest of the Gholgoth nations backing him, so this is going to be a tough fight.
