This thread is in the interest of creating aa new coalition of the leftist nations that activly participate in the International Incidents forum. I had been a part of the Coalition of Anti-Capitalist Economies (CACE), and the International Defense Force (IDF), as well as the Fistian Defence Pact (FDP).

As far as I know all of these alliances are more or less defunct. I am interested in creating a new, powerful alliance.

Older nations are the ones being sought (I myself am a two-year nation)to form the backbone of this nation, but younger nations will be welcomed as well.

The purpose of the alliance would be defensive, an alliance aimed at mutual protection of member nations from aggression.

If anyone has a nice snappy name to come up, please leave me suggestions either on the forum or in my TGs.

Also, if anyone can set up an invisionfree forum, that would help to organizing this.

Well, in any case, I would want to help establish this alliance! I'm with you on this one. In addition, I'll try to get my region to help out, if you so wish. Although I'll be retiring from my position as ADSU chair soon, I'll pass it by them and see what they think.

Yah, if the region wants to join in, I would more then welcome them. I TGd another nation who was looking to form an alliance and then the one other guy in my region (I live in a tiny region).

Yeah, college prevented me from being active for about a month and took up all my free time at home (since I live at home.) However, when I am able to use the wireless internet system and the University, and, when I don't have much homework, like right now, I spend my time on NS.

Yes, having a forum would be a good idea...Any idea what the pact's name would be?

Yah, when I went to college at first I didn't have time, so I'm just now getting back into NS.

I've been trying to come up with a decent name. Right now I'm thinking along the lines of either the Socialist Common Alliance (CSA) or the World Leftist Defense Treaty/Pact (WLDT/WLDP)

The Emperor Shadaum offers his services and those of his nation to his fellows in this endevour and hopes that it may become as powerful and strong as those who first presented its foundation say they wish it to be.

The United States of Independent Hitmen whilst not having any former relations with BLARGistania would be interested in joining such a defensive alliance that is drawn from active members of the world community.

The inactivity of the NWO means that the USIH is only considered a member of one alliance, the Ottoman Alliance, as well as our Regional Defence Treaty. Yea, perhaps we should, it would be a proper meeting place to allow an extension of character role plays. You know what I mean, and we could get detailed IC info on the Coalition itself.

Needless to say, this sort of thing will make residents of the Igovian Soviet Commonwealth very nervous and likely be met with upset noises from the Soviets, Unions, and Senates concerned about what many will see as authoritarian usurpers of the revolution binding their people to some contract that may prevent the continuation of revolution. That is to say, the prospect of central powers protecting one another against real change and progress.

...The ISC has never joined an alliance, but I feel like placing a wordy tag anyway because we'll no doubt have trade interests with some of the states that do get involved, already probably the ANL, for starters. So far as we're concerned, the leftist coalition is the Igovian Soviet Commonwealth, and anyone who doesn't join it is still struggling with the last chains of their oppression :)

You could make the comparison to the Holy Alliance, between Tzarist Russia, The German Empire, and the Austrian Empire back in the 1890s. They made an alliance so as to help uphold the old belief in rule by 'divine right' and to keep down nationalists and sepertists and revolutionary ideas that could spread from France.

He's basically saying that its disturbing to see a large group of powerful left-ish Emperor's and [insert royal title here]'s binding togethor. Also its a sort of forshadowing that a war, perhaps small or big, could indeed happen in the not too distant future.


....If you can't understand that comparison....then your lost and need to go back to middle school.

Czardas, thanks for the interest in this coalition. ANL and I are currently discussing means and basic goals of the alliance, once we get that hammered out, we'll put together a convention thread and discuss everything more in depth with members.
