Russia, Plesetsk Cosmodorome. Russian Spaceport

The Vostok Rocket sat on the platform waiting for the rocket to be fired, white steam drifting away from the rocket as it sat there.

The Corporates logo sat was on the side of the rocket that was in area 31 in the spaceport, somthing about this wasnt right.

"10...9....8.....7....6.....5....Ignition starting.....3....2....1...Lift off" boomed over the load speaker over the area.

The Rocket burst into life as the lower part of the platform burst with a massive fire ball, the rocket slowly but shorely started to lift off then it was gaining speed as it moved though the air, cuting though it like butter.

The Corporate officals looked plased in the control room, the crowed of russian and chinese people cheered as the rocket went into space.

"see comrade, i told you our rocket wouldnt fail" the russian general said.

"we never said it wouldnt, just said that there would be problems for you if there were." The female offical said "i take it the program works....i take it we can get the treaties signed and paper work done"

"of corse Kira of corse, we have a press statment to make now tho" the General replyed looking cheerful, a big grin on his face. He picked up the bottle of Vodka next to him opening it up and pouring shots out for him and the officals.

They all picked it up, "For Friendship between rivals" he tosted, "Friendship" the others replyed has the shot back the shots. It seemed that each of the officals had been around for a while since none of the gaged on the vary strong Russian Vodka.

An Hour later

The flashes from the camras from the press were blinding it seemed that all of the nations of the world had sent someone to this press confreances. The general and the officals sat on the table, with The Russia China Allaince flag and the Corporate Flag behind them.

Shouts of questions came from the media crowed but the people just sat waiting, till finialy the noise stoped as the general stood up.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the International press, today marks a new Age between the Corporate States and the Russia China Allaince, as meny of you know an hour ago a rocket carrying so rather special cargo made orbit of earth. The rocket used was a modifed Vostok 8A92, the Vostok 8A92C. The rocket was modifed for an incressed payload and a more stable fuel mix." The general said.

"can you tell us what was on the rocket" a reported shouted.

"not at the moment no its not my place to" the general replyed.

"was it a military weapon as some people say?" another reported said.

"i will hand you over to Kira who can tell you more" The General said handing it over to Kira, she stood up she was still wearing the trade mark longcoat of the Corporate States Military inteligences, the black shades aswell as the black gloves.

"yes, as you know its prodected that within the next centrie or 2 oil supplys will drop to a dangerus level, we know that the area of Scotland has a small oil field, tho thats not worth mining yet, and russia having massive amounts of untaped oil. but that wont last vary long, for this matter a Satilite was sent into orbit designed to scan the earth for untaped oil supplys deep underground and in the ocians of the world. We plan to send up into around 20 of these satilites." she paused as she looked round at the interged faces "we also plan for 4 of theses satilites to be sent to orbit the moon to find if any sorces of oil maby there aswell as around mars and the Astroild feild. Current plans are also to work on the development of maned missions to mars and the astroid feilds aswell as the moon. the first stop will be the polor caps of the moon for the water under the surface, this would serve as a fueling depo for any man missions to mars and beond."

"is it true that the treaty you are signing with the RCA will allow the 3rd CSF army to be stationed in around this spaceport and 4 corps of marines in other locations around moscow, st petersburg, Volograd, Voeonezh and Rostov aswell as along the border between Russia and Europe?" a reporter asked.

"in a way yes, i can also see that RCA internal security needs to be upgraded" Kira said. "anyway any other questions?"

OOC: the corporation has just made a treaty with one of the Powerful Non Playable Nations to allow us to use the Russian Spacesport (thats whats it called im not kidding its real) and use modifed Vostok rocket.

The Sat sent up so far was one that scaned the sub surface of the earth for trace amounts of crude oil, the treaty also allowed the Corporate States to station a far few troops in westen Russia (this is part of my invasion of Westen Russia and some of the oil fields).

2 weeks later

Across westen Russia protests and riots had been rampaging for days, most anti Corporate protesters claiming that the RCA betrayed the communist way by allow the Corporation to set foot on there soil. In reality MI6 of the Corporate British Intel had been running black ops to fuel this.

But this day was different, November 17th would be remembered in history like the End of the 2nd world war or the New York Food Riots that fueled the US civil war.

Protesters had been outside the 12th Royal Marine Corp Barracks for days, RCA police and military had been protecting it both sides felt that if the Royal Marines had been posted outside the base it would fuel the protests and spark something off.

The Same old thing was happening with, Protesters chanting that the Corporation should get out, how we are human right abusers, Capitalist pigs and so forth no one thought anything off it. Till about 3pm when out of nowhere Petrol bombs flew over the walls of the base killing 3 marines and wounding others, then gun shots fired at the russian troops stationed outside as 2 of the russian troops fell to the ground.

Screams where heared has the meny of the protesters ran in all directions but some took up arms, attacking the RCA troops outside the base taking weapons throwing stones even grenades they had taken off the RCA troops.

"CODE RED CODE RED, ALL TROOPS THIS IS NOT A DRILL" boomed across the base, marines left right and center where running around. Some went a geared up in standard gear others in riot gear.

Captain Donovan was incharge of a platoon stuck with riot duties, they lined up in 2 rows, other platoons had lined up with them in riot gear.

"if they brake though the gate we know what to do" Donovan shouted.

A dawnting scilances spaned the marines, the protesters where doing all they could to brake though the gate. No marine had been given the order to fire, not meny knew what to do.

Then the gate when crashing down, rioters poured into the base suddenly stoping has they saw just over 300 marines in full riot gear and meny more all at defensive postions behind the 2nd gate to the main complex.

"First phase" Donovan shouted so did meny other Captains.

At once at the same time in perfect unison the marines hit there batons onthe back of the riot shields, the sound was strong. They slow started to walk forwards, meny of the rioters didnt know what to make of it, thrown rocks and anything elce they could get. A few of the Marines who were unlucky to get cought by the mob were beaten to death and there bodies lifted above there heads as a sick banner of an army.

Suddenly the mob charged at the 300 marines, the first wave to the brut of the force but the Marines used good old fasion Roman Legion tactics, they didnt move anymore but waited. as the mob hit the marines they held hiting with there batons then when the order was givn they would change, the front line would drop back to be replaced by fresh marines.

for half an hour they 300 marines held, marines behind the front had the shields up over there heads in a tutle shell effect to give them so protection from the Petrol bombs, rock and what ever elce was being thrown at them.

"HOLD THE LINE, HOLD THE GOD DAM LINE" Captain Donovan shouted as the rioters kept hammering the riot marines.

"We cant..hold....much...longer" someone shouted, beating what ever got in his way.

"FULL BACK FULL BACK" Donovan shouted.

That was the signal, marines all around saw the riot marine droping back to the 2nd gate. That was the point they opened fire into the mob with tear gas and rubber bullits..well most were rubber.

people screamed, for another 2 hours the riots lasted. over 300 civilians wounded, 65 killed and over 400 arested some never to be seen again.

a week later

"that amount a of troops, it would seem more like an invasion" The Russian General shouted, "no noway will we allow such a thing."

"General plase, what do you think we are mindless killers? this upheval will get worse, if you give into the demands of the insergants then they will start demanding more things...Independace from the Alliance or maby even Defection to the USNAC or CAS" Kira replyed, "the Chinese things its a good idea, save face if this goes tits up. Since then you forces can come along and take over tho its not like you have any units able to handle this"

"what do you mean by that, the CRA Armed forces is the best around" The General said.

Kira burst into fits of laughter, looking at the genral who looked some what insulted.

"really general, you do crack me up. Your army is nothing more then conscripts and your best trained forces are in Afganistan and Kazakhstan let alone ago the border to the bloody middile east. Your in no fit form to deal with a area thats shorly going to blow up in your face into total civil war" Kira siad looking up, "belive me the corporation has nothing to hide, if you want the General commanding the forces will also report to you."

The Russian general looked round at his staff, he knew she was right. "fine have it your way, but if we say out you do so"

"of corse" Kira said "and dont worry the trade agreements wont get hurt."

In the baltic Sea the 2nd Carrier Fleet had begun deploying its troops, all would land in st Peterburg setting up a base of operations there.

VTOLs and Hinds left form the carrier group, the large assault ship complement held most of the troops.

"General, our forces will be in postion by night fall"

"good good, right then i think its time. Have the Royal Marine Corp's in russia at the moment inforce the cerfew, no one is to be out after sunset or befor sunrise. Have them take over all Power stations, water works, waste plants and so forth once the Air Division is in place....attack all military bases and trench in along the out border oh and make shore the space port is taken"

"yes sir...anything elce?"

"mm...yes...contact high command, tell them that we will need the bombing runs within the next 10 hours."

"aye aye sir"

OOC: huh...questions on our space program long gone...invading now..but yes i do plan to make a few orbital colonies i also plan to make the first ship inspace for the goal of going to mars but thats once a Global Time frame for the Earth VII is done.

The Russian General was right, it was more like an invasion, within days of the corporate forces landing in western russia they had taken control. Local law enforcement had been disbanded and replaced by the Marines and Infentry, Matral law was fully enforced and a border had been placed, Local goverment officals and high ranking military personel had been rounded up, some never seen befor with rumers of death squads working within the corporate military executeing them the rest were deported "for there own safty". All the inferstruture buildings like power stations, water works, phone, gas and so forth had been over run by Corporate Marines.

Bombings of military bases by Air attacks were pulled off without a hitch, tho some of the airfields and other bases were not so badly hit by the air, Air Assault had landed troops near most of them. Within days they had fallen to the Corporate forces, the russian forces ill prepared and equiped to fight.

The Main Russian army was slow to react, The SAS and Corporate Rangers had run mission in easten russia across the planed Corporate Border blowing up parts of barracks, Tank Factories, Supply depots and Fuel stations days befor the invasion. Blamed on the Radical so called rebals over Corporate presances, all a fass but there to make the russians belive.

The 3rd CSF Army had pulled off taking the Spaceport in a text book assault, within a few hours the spaceport fell. Quickly the 3rd had spread itself out along the northern part of the planed border taking the city of Arkhangel'sk to the north.

When the main russian army did respond the Corporate forces were ready for them, the Russian army couldnt muster its Tank Divisons to full effect, constant barrage from the RAF and feul shortages ment that the tanks were hardly used. The Russian Airforces was no better, SAS teams had attacked as meny airfields in the area as they could putting plans out of action or blowing the runways and fuel tanks.

The russian offencive was a shame, the Corporate forces had dug in taking vary sacure locations and control of the sky. The main problem was the nuclear threat, a threat that had to be destroyed.

After a month of a loseing war for russia, the corporate states Director ordered a shocking order.

at 12am GMT a Vanguard class Subermine, a nuclear powered ballistic missile carrier, had postioned itself Arctic Ocean a few 100 miles from anyland. The Water above the subermarine was still for a moment then erupted as missile after missile flew out bursting there way though the water. A total of 3 missiles were fired and eachs target was Harden Nuclear missile silos in russia, it was as if time stood still on the subermarine and at the Directors office.
After a few minutes it was confirmed, 3 2 MT thermal nuclear detonations had been recorded all within 2 miles of there targets. Other nuclear silos were bombed by the RAF and known Tactical nuclear sites were also hit.


Speech by the Director of the Corporate States

"People of the Corporate States, it is my saddend dutiy to inform you that at 12:05 am GMT three 2 megaton thermal nuclear warheads were detonated at 3 High threat level hardend nuclear missile silos. The warheads were ground burst producing more damage towards the silos with a less fallout range. The targets are reported to have been distroyed aswell as other nuclear silos and known tactical nuclear missiles, the reason for the use of nuclear weapons was the sheer fact that convetional weapons were out of range and thos deemed to be able to hit were unable to destroy the target, this was a preumpted attack on Russian Nuclear forces. As you all know our war in Westen russia has been running smothly and with the lack of progress on the russian part and fears that russian generals and goverment officals feel we are invading the whole of russia, the use of nuclear weapons on civilian targets was something we felt was unacceptable.
As of now we are offering the Russia China Allaince a peace treaty, we will pledge not to invade or cross the border of the new corporate States of Europa or help others in doing so, in return the RCA goverment accept the new Nation of Europa, formaly parts of Westen Russia and end any attempts to invade Europa.
We hope that the RCA will accept this treaty, we know that the RCA have trubbles in China with the Empire of Solux it would be like fighting a war on 2 fronts."
