Background- Findora: A small planet on the fringes of Sebecean Space. A old colony from the start of early hyperspace travel. It's foundation was ordered at the middle of the First Higar System War by the Sebekkan Emperor Goene Makaar. Over time the colony was left in peace, until its creation was rediscovered in a Sevian Intel Report 300 years later. The Sevians did not know the reason for the colonies creation, and sent a attack fleet to remove it. The colony was almost wiped out, and the Sevians left. Three more times in the First and Second Dark Ages did the Aclarians, Sevians, and even later Sebekkans send forces to attack the world. However in the First Golden Age, the planet became a represented world in the first unified Setian-Sebecean Republic, but lost contact until the Second Unification under the Patriarch Emperor Furion Miniah about 4000 years ago. The planet has remained in Sebecean Space, unrepresented and unassmilated. It had been effectively lost, developing it's own culture and technology. During the raids, many were lost, and soon the Findorans lost their identity.

In System JOQ-23 'Findor': A single Command Battlecarrier entered the system. It was not here on a regular patrol, but was here to investigate a report of an unknown craft that had destroyed an automated transport in this system. The Battlecarrier, Aitica, scanned the system, it found no ships, or stations. However, it detected something on a nearby planet... a civilization. The Battlecarrier moved into high orbit, and observed the people. Scans were taken of the planet. Massive monuments and cities along with old scars of orbital bombardment littered the planets surface. The scans were soon stopped, as the sensors detect a energy burst on the surface. Then another, and another. The Captian did not know what to think of this, and ordered the ship to 'Actionstations'. They watched some more, until an alarm sounded-- A projectile was heading straight for the Aitica. Flak Defense was brought online, and created a cloud of explosions around the missile. The missile soon detonated, in a bright flash. A Fusion Bomb... fired at a Sebecean Imperial Ship in the Sebecean Democratic Imperium... this was not to be tollerated by anyone. The Battlecarrier turned, and its weapons activated... and fired.


Baren Leaon, was a simple Findoran, he farmed for the Commune and was proud. He watched his machines tend to his crops, and once in awhile he would take a trip into the city. Today was one of those days, and he walked to the MetroTrain station just outside of his farm in the town of Mav. As he got on the train people were talking about a successful Fusion Bomb test on target drone in orbit. They now hard a defense against the threat of asteroids and other space debris. The train sped along the tracks, it went over a hill and a view of Malaar City was given to the passengers. However something was different. Malaar was on fire, and a blue and yellow fire rained from the sky. Baren noticed the train was slowing, and was soon stopped. He stepped out, and looked at the city burning. He looked up to see the source of the Chaos and he could make out a tiny black ring with a cross in it, in the sky. He heard the distant screaming of people in the burning city. A bolt of fire hit the front of the train, sending a shockwave that pushed Baren over. He scrambled up and ran to the cover of a small forest.

To any spacing civilization, the peaceful citizens of Findora are under attack by and unknown aggressor. Makaar Help Us!

The Kaldenian light cruiser Void Dragon was passing by only a few light hours away. The command center, nestled in the center of the 860 meter long, oval-shaped craft, was humming with activity. All of the crew were lizard-like in their appearance. They had blue scales and short, blunt snouts with large, shiny black eyes. The communication's officer picked up the hail and relayed it to the Commander's chair in the center of the bridge.

"Senior one, we have detected a transmission coming from a planet a few light hours away. They say they are being attacked. Shall we intervene?"

The Commander pondered silently for a few moments, stroking his snout. This was a dilemma. The Republic was a peace-loving race. They had no need for war. However, the Republic had discovered the need for warships and they ahd a policy of protecting those who could not defend themselves. That was the way theri society worked. The strong protect the weak. He finally spoke, his voice a series of hisses, whistles, and clicks, "Alert level five. All crew to action stations. Set na intercept course at maximum speed. Let them know we're coming"

The lighting dimmed as power shifted to weapons systems. A high-pitched klaxon sounded through the ship as the crew ran to their action stations. On the surface of the ship, hatches slid back, revealing rail-gun turrets. Missile tubes opened on the fore and aft ends of the ship. Armor deployed from slots on the ships side, covering the entire ship in matte black armored plate. Seconds later the ship shot forward into the void. A message beamed from the speeding vessel to the beleagured planet:

Attention Findora, this is the RKSS Void Dragon, we are en route to assist. Try to hang on. Out.

Fifteen minutes later the Void Dragon dropped out of trans-warp, emitting a broadband trasmission.

Attention vessel, this is the RKSS Void Dragon cease your attack on the planet. We are here to assist them. We will open fire if neccessary.

The ship itself was still moving at incredible speeds towards the planet and the Aitica. As it moved, small ports opened along the belly, revealing docking bays. The small, two-Kalden craft inside were fast, manuverable fighters. Armed with seven missile hardpoints and two 35mm armor-piercing chainguns, they were deadly packages. As the ship deaccelerated the fighters launched, 48 of them in all.

THe commander keyed his inter-comm, "Attention torpedo room: load EMP and thermo-nuclear warheads. Fire on command."

Almost as soon as the Aitica received the transmition, it began to break orbit. It headed out to meet this new threat. Turrets and weapons crew manned stations. On the bridge Ordinance and Weapons Officers targeted the foreign vessel. The Aitica was put on battlestations, and pilots sat in their fighters ready for launch. However, even though she had left orbit, the Aitica had launched transports and insertion pods for 1,200 Orbital Marines.

Leaon woke from being knocked out by a explosion. It was dark on this side of Findora, and it was even darker in the forest. There were a few others around him, and he started to tend to them. He counted the number of people in forest, 30... 40... 56... only 56 had made it into the forest. He began organizing them, and began leading them toward the city.

As he and his people exited the forest, they saw ships land at the edge of the city, 20 troops came out of each, and they entered the city. Flashes were seen in the distance. Yellow and Red flashes came from the invaders and blue bolts and electrical archs came at them. Leaon was somewhat relieved, they had some allies still on the ground.

To Vessal RKSS Void Dragon, you are in violation of Sebecean Democratic Imperial Space. Turn your ship around and exit this system, or we will be forced to open fire.

The Void Dragon does not check, but continues it's steady eacceleration, weapons charged and ready. The commander responds with a communique of his own:

We will not leave this system. The Kalden Republic will always protect those who cannot defend themselves. If you do not cease your attack on a defenseless world we will open fire. Out.

The Void Dragon manuvers to the polar north, arching upwards in an attempt to go over the Setian ship and get between it and the planet. It's fighter craft swarmed in front of it, staying in formation.

The nose of the Command Battlecarrier followed the enemy. A moment after receiving the enemy transmition, every gun battery on the Aitica fired. White bolts flew towards the enemy, and fighters were launched along with Valkyrie Assault Bombers. Missles streamed to the enemy engines and the Battlecarrier moved towards the Void Dragon while its batteries continued to fire.

You are in violation of Imperial and Congressional Law, you will be destroyed or boarded... Stand-Down.

The Kalden ship twisted into an array of evasive manuvers, attempting to evade in the incoming fire. Several of the whit bolts sped passed, but mroe impacted on the armored plating. The plating glowed a bright white where the bolts ahd hit. SOme of the hits faded back to a matte black, while others sparked or simply vaporised a section of the armor. Automatic point defense systems kicked in as the missiles entered threat range, streams of cannon fire and clouds of flak streaming out in spirals. Several of the Setian missiles exploded, doing no discernible damage, while one exploded almost five meters off of the bow.

The ship staggered for a moment, engines straining to deal with the stress. However, it righted itslef and sped on.

The Kalden fighters turned to engage, the two-person craft sped head on for the incoming enemy fighters. As they entered missile range the squadrons fired, forty-eight ship-to-ship missiles sped threwthe void of space towards their targets.

Then it was the Void Dragon's turn. It turned bow-on tothe Setian vessel and fired it's forward missile tubes, six missiles lancing out towards the enemy vessel. Four of them were thermo-nuclear warheads. Two were EMP, designed to short out electronic systems and wreak havoc on the enemy's computers.

The Banshee pilots advanced to meet the enemy fighters, but as they noticed missiles coming at them, they stop their fighters fired at the missiles, hitting only a few but a few seconds from impact the pilots exicuted a "Near Death" dodge, and pointed their noses down (from their point of view) and hit full engines causing most of the missiles to miss and break up at the high gees. A few unlucky souls got cliped and met a cold death in space. The fighters moved around to attack the enemy fighters, and within 300 meters fired their pods of Streamer Missiles (About the size of a Maglight flashlight, that uses a cheap heat tracker) and then switched to guns for the dogfight.

The Aitica activated its flak shield to the front of it, destroying half of the missiles. The result of the two nuclear and one EMP missiles detonating was a white flash, and then a shockwave of light and some debris. The bulk of the energy was pumped into the ship's ESMs (Energy-Sink Manifolds) which now glowed white. Another nuke and EMP missile were hit, but did not detonate. The final nuke slammed into the thick hull plating which kept most of the energy out, but the shock of nukes moved the entire ship causing minor injury to thousands, and some serious injuries to 13.

The Aitica corrected is position, and fired railgun slugs at .94 speed of light at the enemy. The ship then loaded four Pulsar Warheads, and fired them at the enemy. The Aitica's engines went to full power and charged the Void Dragon, with full guns firing, using some of the converted ESM energy be pumped into the reactors.

And not far from this, another group had heard the call, but instead of being like the massive capital ships duking it out. It was a single flash of light as a small, red and black Frigate passed into their realm, it was narrow and long, ment to evade fire and move into the minimum range of missle fire. It was armed with 4 Pulse Batteries on each side of it's hull for ship-ship fire, while 4 Torpedo Tubes sat in the front of the ship, able to launch many different warheads at any threat. Also, hidden under the ship's hull until deployed, were several small-arms turrets, for taking out any incomnig fighters that might harass the Frigate.

The ship seemed alone, until another seven Frigates, all alike, appeared. It was an Amerathian Wolf Pack, sent out to destroy pirate fleets or such. They stood far from the battle, not sure who was fighting for who. It sent out a simple transmition..

"Seeing as how you are all so fixed on destroying eachother, I, Captain Gaunt, doubt that any of you are willing to ceasefire for diplomacy. So I say this, leave the people on the planet alone. And whoever's troops are currently landed upon the surface of the planet, withdraw them."
It seemed even this little frigate had some good sensors on it.

It was odd for Amerathians to care about anything outside their Empire, unless it proved to be beneficial to the Empire itself. But this seemed to be a mission to earn trade and favors with the planet in question, or a grace of the Captain's good side.

Captian Gaunt, I am Captian Zihre of the Sebecean Imperial Vessel Aitica. We are within our legal limits in dealing with the insurrection on the planet bellow. This System is, and has been in the Sebecean Democratic Imperium for over 4000 years. These invaders are illegal and have violated Sebecean Congressional and Imperial Law and Imperial requests that they leave the system. We are meerly enforcing the law.

"We don't care who owns what, but obviously, innocents are going to get killed and if that happens we will be forced to act."

It seemed that even the Amerathian Navy had some sort of heart in it. The Wolf Pack stayed far from the battle still, patroling along the fringes of the world, hoping they wouldn't have to engage anyone.

Legally we have every right to punish the citizens of this world for their crimes against the Democratic Imperium. Yes innocents will be killed, but that is a cost to pay. I'm sure that if you nation allows capital punishment, it has killed and innocent.

"We have punishment systems, but most include putting the citizen to work in our armed services. We define innocents as those who don't have the ability to fight back, and upon observing the planet's civilization, we notice the lack of technology this planet exhibits. Cease now.

The Captain's voice was irratated at these people. His crew were all ready to go into battle, full well knowing the consequences.

A thing on Amerathian Wolf Packs, by Captain Gaunt..
The Frigates that make up a wolf pack may be small in comparrison to other similar crafts of other nations, but they are faster than the other Frigates. Their armorment and defenses are weak, but their speed and ability to weave between capital ships makes them a very looked-for option of most Admirals of Amerath. Usually a Wolf Pack operates from a larger ship that stays out of combat and controls severals wolf packs at once.

As the Comm was sent, a single Phalanx class Modular Advanced Assault Frigate decloaked infront of the Wolf Pack. It was the SIS Xenia, command ship of VryAdmiral Kan Laney of the famed Opilla Hunter-Killer Fleet. Around the group of Amerathian frigates, 6 more Phalanxi appeared, weapons systems armed and deployed. They were in fast reaction combat formation.

If you wish to solve this diplomatically, place a diplomatic request with the Foreign ministry.

OOC: The Phalanx HK Fleets are like your Wolf Packs, except they consist of the most advanced ships in the Sebecean fleet. They are modular ships giving them the ability to change hull structure to suit different situations. They were used heavily in the Battle of the Fellestar, the War of Sebecean Aggression, and the Sebecean-Omar War. You can file a lawsuit or charges on the Government.

The wolf pack stood still, as a transmition went out. Captain Gaunt was not with this particular Wolf Pack, but he could see everything going on.

As the battle raged on far away, the 8 Frigates stood still, they were like dead bodies in the float of space. That is, before one of the Frigates broke off, disappearing into another flash of light as the last 7 broke off, moving to engage individual targets, each opening up with a salvo of 4 Bomblet Torpedo's. (Each Bomblet Torpedo breaks apart a certain distance from their intended targets, peppering the enemy ships with jamming devices and small explosives ment to render all sensors disabled and take out any small external devices. The jamming would affect the Amerathian Frigates as well.)

The fire of the torpedos would be followed by a pulse salvo from the frigates after they turned to bear on the enemy. Attempting to move around them in evasive patterns. ( Remeber that there are 4 Pulse Cannons on each side of the ship.)

A public message went out, "Long live the Amerathian Empire! We will not surrender to any form of arms shown against us! Death before Dishonor!"

Point Defense Cannons, removed the missile threat before they could cause serious harm, but some of the sensor jammers were causing sensor drift and some disruptions on the Phalanxi. The Phalanxi, in fast reaction combat formation, quickly tracked each enemy frigate, and fired their forward mounted Megabolt cannons. As the Phalanxi closed the distances, they fired their Electrical Arch Cannons.

One of the small moons surrounding a planet in the system came to life the outer crust falling off in a silt of dust that hung in space. The massive organic creature proceded to move towards the battle around the nearby planet.

The massive bioship moved towards the conflict weapons charging as massive arcs of lighning sparked across its massive form.

You are within Sebecean Democratic Imperial Space. You will remove yourself from this system or you will be destroyed.

The massive bio ship raced towards the conflict now seconds away it opend comms:

We are the hive, we are perfection.
We do not recognise your claim, this system has been hive held for over 4 million rotations of the outermost planet within this system. Remove yourselfs immediatly.

the electrical storms across the surface of the organism began collecting in one focal spot on the side facing the ships. It was hard to tell what side of the organism this was exactly due to its enormous size. As it came closer to the planet a massive stream of spores poured out of it into space where they plunged towards the planets surface each pod was mansized and they scatterd in clusters of 50 and landed around the city that was being seiged.

3 of the Frigates buckled under megabolt hits in the opening wave. One of the Frigates barely missed another frigate as it began to buckle and boil under the surface, the crew cooking alive as the power core inside overloaded. With a final cry of pain, the ship exploded, sending out a ring of plasma-discharge. The 4 Remainings frigates managed to stay out of the way of the electrical arch cannons. The Frigates began firing off volleys of Pulse cannons at the opposing forces. Each Pulse cannon was somewhat of a powerful gun if it hit any weak points of enemy armor, due to it being more of a armor-melting flamethrower in the form of laser-beam.

The 8th frigate had not yet appeared, but it was soon to.

(OOC: also, did you lose any frigates in my opening pulse-cannon salvo? Or atleast damnage some?)

IC: The Battlecarrier and frigates did not stop at the pests, but their arrival warrented the activation of the Mon Ecliptus. The massive Decimator erupted from a rip in space, behind the pest's hive. The Decimator, began firing as soon as it had exited. Thousands of white bolts came from the Decimator each second. Massive (Size of a pickup truck) Rail Gun slugs were being hurled at 9.3 SoL (speed of light). The Chaotic Gravity Cannons were targeting, and soon began to fire.

The Decimator is an advanced Super BattleCruiser, one of the new breeds of modular ships that requires only a small handfull of people to operate (Karran Class Command Carrier is 3.5 miles long, and has a crew of about 50,000, while the Decimator is larger in size, but not in crew) It is reported that because of its size it cannot subspace jump, however scientists have created a new wormhole tech that allows this massive ship to jump. It weapons array is said to consist of many robotic combat drones, advanced railguns, and many other weapons. Most weapons on the ship have the new satellite ability, or the ability to detach from the main hull and fire from off of the main ship. Its modular tranformations are also said to be spectacular. When the Decimator and its two other little sisters are shown to the public we will recieve more information on them and their aproximate numbers.

OOC: How does the decimator -not- ruin it like the hive? Eh eh? No offense by the way with that. I can RP with it.

OOC: Point Defense knocked them out, but things like that have a nack for blowing up, so you knocked out a bunch of drones and phalanx satillite guns.

The fleet took some hard damage from the Pulse cannons, however the bulk of the energy flowed to the ESMs. One of the frigates, however, had to dump its ESMs do to high heat levels. The thick armor and the ships 'immune system' help the crew out alot (I told you these are the most advanced ships in my fleet). The Xenia changed formation to assault mode, and began using her Rail Gun to hammer slugs (size of a toliet paper roll ;-) ) into the others at near the speed of light. The others ganged up on the remaining enemies, and used their megabolt cannons and Charged Particle Cannons.

Well im using foam to fight fire here. I wouldnt use it against you cause you haven't brought in some massive ship. I tend to fight enemies with ships close to their class (size), unless I feel mean, but I hate ruining RPs so I would not use it against you.

The moon sized ship ignored the fire that slammed into it from behind and opend fire with a massive surge of lighning that arcd towards the fleets as it struck each ship its purpose was felt. The lighning not only super heated any thing it touched far in excess of plasma but it also created a massive emp field that flooded around the area of the lightning's passage. On the surface of the planet the pods began slamming into the ground like eggs clusterd in small craters they began to hatch.

To the rear the rail gun rounds slammed into the Norn queen flattening on impact as the skein toughend to the kinetic damage before utilising the heat to heal the brusing damage. The chunks of metal were then absorbed into the mass to be used for production. The hive wasted nothing.

KNH-220 Chaotic Gravity Cannon: Collapses matter into a micro blackhole that is slingshotted by gravity generators in the barrel. The Blackhole is charged as it leaves the barrel giving it a dark purple color. The gee field at 100 yards is over 200 gees, and is the highest point that testing sensors could detect before being crushed. A direct hit can shatter just about anything, and a near miss can crack and warp a hull and kill life onboard. Gravity generators can reduce the effects, but severe damage will be received.

IC: Energy began flowing into the Decimator's Starlance cannon.

OOC: Works for me. Also, for point defense, I believe a Pulse Cannon (roughly the size of a truck in width and height) would probley get past point defenses, just saying.

Only one Frigate remained after the attack from the Phalanxes, it limped in a form of retreat, trying to get out of the conflict. But as it retreated, one of the lightning arcs hit one of its two rear engines (They are like bulges sticking out from either side of the ship, massive, but good). The ship started to float in deadspace, only its momentum carrying it foward before it released another 4 torpedos at the enemy, this time, they were explosives ment to wound or destroy enemy ships. These Torpedos seemed to look like flying 50 calibur bullets as they made their way towards any of the Phalanx ships. Once the torpedo hit, it would burrow itself into the armor of the target and explode once it had detected it had breached the first layer. It was roughly filled with gasoline, so the only way it would explode is if it got into the oxygen filled innards of the ship. (or if your nitrogen based, I'm dead in the water.)

The gravety "shells" slowed and then dissapated as they reached the hive ship its massive gravety counteracting against them nulifying the effect.

The massive ship left the now imobilised ships be and began to unleash more electro static energy across its surface as the storm began to build up on the side facing the new arrival.

OOC: I would like to mention that Imodius' use of the Tyranids is quite .. well.. nevermind.

OOC: yes, but you have so much derived from it, such as the Norn Queen. Although you did add parts. Atleast your doing better than some people I've seen who blatantly use Space marines with none of their characteristics.

The lighning began to form in a massive storm however unlike last time it did not strike out it began to build.

At this thousands of spores began to poor out of the back of the norn queen and spiral towards the defenceless ships their engines shut down they would be fresh meat for the hive.

Each of the spores spiraled towards a ship hundreds slamming onto the hull of each one turning the surface of the ships into what looked like a grotesque series of puss filled man sized growths.

The Kalden ship had been busily dodging incoming missiles and using it's own point defense weapons against them, but had been struck once by one of the weapons. The ship once aagin staggered under the blow, a section of the armor simply vaporizing. Other portions of the armored hull sustained damage as the enemy's railgun rounds slameed into it, one penetrating the armor and venting a section, along with several unfortunate crew members, into the vacum of space.

However, the ship was not crippled yet. Despite being horroendously out matched by the sheer size of it's opponent, it was not going to allow itself to be beaten quite that easily. Another salvo of thermo-nuclear missiles shot out of it's tubes towards the Setian ship, followed by a rail-gun broadside. The fighters, in the mean-time, had taken losses. Four of their number had been destroyed by the enemy missile slavo and another cripple.d HTe rest, however, had engaged the enemy in a vicious dogfight. Not carrying shiedling, armor, or jump drives they were very manuverable. Their 30mm cannon fired roundsdesigned to explode after penetrating the enemy's vessel.

However, the appearance of the hive ship changed everything.

Setian vessel, I suggest that we cease our own squabbling and concentrate our joint efforts on that...thing. It will do niether of us any good to squabble over a planet that could very well be overrun in a matter of days.

The Phalanxi Point Defense knocked two of the missiles out, but the two others hit the Phennie. The first did not detonate, but the second did, spilling flames into the ship. Alot of damage was aquired, many systems shut down, but the bridge was able to seal and flush those regions into space. The limping Phennie powered up subspace and exited the system. The remaining Phalanxi butchered the surviving frigate, leaving no hulk larger than a desk remaining.

ooc: all ships in that skirmish have been hit by the arc lighning from the norn queen and have either taken a sevear hammering and lost several critical systems to the emp or are now dead in space with <if they are unlucky> their life support systems working.

The Command BattleCarrier took little damage from the Kalden ship. But they had a point.

We agree to settle this dispute in Sebecean Courts, for now we must remove this plague from our space. Sebecean Imperial Command has authorized a massive battle contigent of Carriers, Dreadnoughts, Battlecarriers, and other warships.

The Starlance had charged, and the massive dome on the front of the Decimator opened, energy arched from the end of the massive ship to the front. A thick particle cloud formed around the Decimator. The cloud was alot larger than the Decimator and even the hive ship. Energy arched from it to the Decimator and back. The Starlance fired, a black stream of energy, erupted from the Mon Ecliptus and head to the hive ship. The energy began to turn from black to a white.

OOC: Except me, I got my last ship out.

As if on cue, a massive explosion of light appeared far off from the southern pole. Emerging from the light came a massive ship (Actually, it's only like.. 3 times the size of the Frigates), It was shaped like a giant "U" as it had its bridge nestled between two spires prodding out infront of it, each spire holding 12 Pulse Cannons on each spire facing away from the bridge (or central core). 8 Massive Torpedo tubes stuck out of the end of each spire, ready to take on anything, not to mention the many undeployed anti-fighter and defensive weapons hidding in the ship's hull. It was Powered by 6 massive engines arrayed along the back of the Central Core, making it slow, but formidable to lower class-ships. It was an "Iron Haven" Destroyer, a type of Destroyer used only for commanding Wolf Packs, this particular one, was followed by two Wolf Packs and an additional ship. It was in command of three, before one was destroyed not long ago.

It was fortunate that this small fleet had managed to appear after the EMP, and it was amazed at what it saw. It sent out a general beacon..

"What is that Thing!? Someone answer us! This is Captain Gaunt of the 23rd Ar-koss Border Watch (The section of the Amerathian space near this area), I've never seen a thing like that before. We'll hold back all hostilities for now."

The Storm began to grow outwards slowly wrapping around the massive creature creating a mist of vapor and arcing lightning that rippled across the massive form.

The swarm ships began to use a mixture of acids alkalines and titanuim alloy diamond coated chitcen to tear small holes in the hulls of the ships they had latched onto. This hole was coverd with the pod maintaining internal pressure. Under each hole a massive rush of acid sloshed into the ships followed by an organic sac about half the size of a human. Slowly these sacs moved and then tore open as the gene harvesters inside awoke. Moving at speeds up to 250 mph they attempted to render all of the crew dead or unconcious as quickly as possible. Most ships would be doomed as up to 100 of these screaming scythed horrors where unleashed upon the hapless crew.

A deep resounding voice echo'd across all comm's frequencies:

A few of the Phalanxi's drones were knocked out, but they continued to be operational, ESMs sucking up energy and shoving it into the engines.

A massive fleet containing 32 Command Carriers, 50 Dreadnoughts, 50 Juggernoughts, and 39 Command Battlecarriers. Along with support ships. They fired at the hive ship as soon as they were in weapons range. Flak screens kept the enemy pods out.

ooc: you never fired it you just said it was charging up - what kind of damage does it deal out?
and the pods where only launched at the ships that where in system already and wont be launched at ships that still have active engines.

ic: As the fleet opend fire the norn queen unleashed the electrostatic storm allowing it to ripple across the system. On the planet below street lights exploded as the entire planet was nocked into blackout. The emp wave washed over incomming missiles causing them to detonate mid flight or go haywire and flare off into space however several did still impact onto the surface of the ship leaving small impact craters the massive fire power that slammed into the norn queen began to tear appart its outer skein as it slowly hardend under the impact using the heat from the weapons fire to create a layer of metals to act as a protective coating.

OOC:

The Starlance had charged, and the massive dome on the front of the Decimator opened, energy arched from the end of the massive ship to the front. A thick particle cloud formed around the Decimator. The cloud was alot larger than the Decimator and even the hive ship. Energy arched from it to the Decimator and back. The Starlance fired, a black stream of energy, erupted from the Mon Ecliptus and head to the hive ship. The energy began to turn from black to a white.

It fired.

And there stood the very very small fleet of Amerath, trying to figure out what to do as it watched ships torn apart and destroyed in the battle.

The dark cloud around the Decimator became larger, and denser. The archs of energy continued to light up the cloud. The Decimator began charging the Starlance, but it charged faster, much faster. It fired again. The Chaotic Gravity cannons began firing again, at 100% this time, unlike the 10% strength of the shots before.

The Congressional Fleet continued their attack. The Command Battlecarriers lauched massive rail gun cone-slugs* at near the speed of light. Some of the slugs were followed by slower slug loaded with a mineral consuming nanites.

The Phalanxi cloaked and headed towards the hive ship

OOC:
*These rail gun slugs are dense rounds about the size of a car, that when fired elongate to be a 5 mm strand about a mile long. At the high speeds, their impact into a object creates a hollow cone, which the nanites are inserted.

"We'll suspend our hostile intentions for the time until we can take care of this thing."

Although the Captain knew this .. thing.. was the bigger threat, he couldn't help but fear for the people of the planet as he drove onwards towards the mass. It wasn't common for the Amerathian Navy to retreat from a fight, which was leading them into what was most ceratinly.. a genocide of either the alien organisms, or every other fleet in the area.

"We'll settle our grudges later."

It would take a while for the ships to move from the southern pole to the area of the northern pole where (I believe) the fighting was taking place. Captain Gaunt knew of the threat of those pods, and had quickly raised the warning status of the small fighter team stationed inside his ship.

There were only 12 fighters aboard this particular Destroyer, but each frigate had been quickly given a small attachment to hold an additional 2 Fighters on the bottum of the frigate's hull earlier on by the supply ships near the destroyer's previous position in Ar-Koss.

Agreed, we have decided to settle this in the Court of Law.

"Doubt that'll work for us, seeing as how we only see the hulls of Amerathian Frigates out there."

We send our apologies to the families of your fallen soldiers. However that should be a lesson for you nation. But we can solve this in a diplomatic fashion.

"As we say in the glorious Navy of the Emperor of Amerath: Kill those who trespass on the trespassers!"

With that, the 20 ship fleet closed within range of the bio-sphere and every ship unleashed FireSpree Torpedos, adding up to 84 torpedos moving towards the spheres. These FireSpree Torpedos were designed as anti-organic matter weaponry, ment to be fired from a frigate in atmosphere to destroy the civilizations that might resist the navy; but they could be adapted.

If a torpedo made contact with the sphere, it would detonate as soon as it hit, superheating itself into molten metal, which set off its internal warhead device. The device would explode into a massive sphere of fire, attempting to penetrate into the organic creature as well as cinder the skin on the outside. This was war.

The rail gun rounds slammed into the surface of the massive form the damage was externally inpossible to determin but they had enterd the surface.

The Chaos cannon rounds continued to crumple into themselfs unable to remain stable once entering the pool of gravety surrounding the massive norn queen.

As the massive lance struck into the norn queen it appeared to swell a little in size at first it may have been mistaken for the flesh of the organic creature welting but after several more strikes the entire creature seemed to be getting bigger.

The missles slammed into the surface of the norn queen spewing out super heated metals that sank into the form followed by a huge thermal detonation which caused the wound made to heal over.

The norn queen began to glow as it once more charged for an emp pulse as it began moving towards the massive structure.

On the surface of the planet the gaunts screamed into combat with the marines that had been drop podded onto its surface. The gaunts ignored local millitia and civilians in some cases running through them to reach the marines. It appeared the hive was defending this planet from the invaders.

Even better would be coordinating it with the chaos cannons you've been using.

OOC: The nanites are adaptive, they consume anything and replicate. They will adapt to an acidic or basic environment. If a ship is alive or has an 'immune system' that and computers systems are attacked first.

The cloud became denser, and now smaller, and the in a flash, vanished. Several portships jump next to every non-Sebecean ship except the insect ships. Gravity readings from the planet began increasing exponentially. The portships and every Sebecean vessel except the Mon Ecliptus, jumped out. The portships opened subspace windows around the others. The planet finally collapsed. A blackhole, lay in its place. The Decimator rammed into the Hive ship, pushing them closer to the singularity. The Decimator's hull began to crack, and it fired the Starlance once more, at point blank.

The blackhole created a hyperspace lockdown, and began feeding of the sun. The dense cloud that was around the Decimator has been jump into the core of the planet in a dense singularity- A theoretical tactic, that had now worked. The singularity was pulling in matter to feed on, and the massive Decimator and Hive ship were in her grasp.

Good idea, but I think collapsing a planet by artificially increasing it's core mass and density to singularity by use of Synthe Nanites (the cloud), is more dramatic and epic.

The entire side of the norn queen in which the nanites where contained was released as a massive fleshy lump that drifted into space. As the lance hit it at point blank the slab of meat exploded into life expanding rapidly before wrapping around the platform.
The norn queen screamed in anger as the planet was destroyed below them there were 2 options and she wasnt about to give up. From inside the norn queen massive pods began to spew out each one heading for a ship at first ten's then hundreds untill eventually thousands of half-mile lenth pods screamed towards their targets the norn queen unleashed a final massive emp pulse that rippled across the system nocking out all electrical systems inside three million six hundred thousand miles.

The pods screamed towards their targets now imobile in space.

OOC: Portships jumped allied craft out, there is only you and the Decimator.

The PNR(Point of no Return) now encompassed both ships, they were trapped. Time slowed for the lifeforms on board the ships, as they were pulled closer to the singularity. They were trapped for eternity.

The Amerathian fleets were confused as to what was happening. One second, there was firing, then there wasn't?
