An Emissiary Most Foul (Attn GFFA)

The messages had went out in many tongues; on many frequencies that a curious sort of parley was requested. On a neutral world; in a neutral system; where the hand of Empire, Imperium and Federation had not yet touched, they would meet. Marcus De Drakan had called forth the council of the Federation that they would have talks and parley. Yet the dread Emperor himself would not leave his stronghold and sanctuary; instead, a Diplomat would meet them.

Wine flowed from a glass jug into a goblet; as a gauntleted hand reached up and took the metal cup from the hand which offered it; raising it to wearied, pallored lips. Pale, almost snow white flesh graced her countenance, as she sipped softly upon the fine substance that now graced and moistened her throat. She was garbed all in black; robes and armor gleaming with an unnatural sheen as she chuckled slightly; awaiting the arrival of her guests.

Lady Elsabet Prestor smiled softly, raising the glass once again to her lips; looking skywards. It was a fine day; a fine day for dark deeds of diplomacy.

Dusanyu walked through the throne room one last time. It had been quiet of late which was good for an Emperor but bad for an Admiral. He had left the GFFA meeting due to issues that had to be settled with The Federal Union which was a welcomed distraction to be away from poltical bore. He had left Lamia there to take charge of the meeting and to deal with any other matters that may arise.

Commander Lexshue had been assigned to duties patroling the capital's core area and was monitoring all energy readings. The transmission had finally hit on an Abh dialect that she could understand. Her cape flew behind her while her command saber moved with the back of her hips. The tight uniform accenting her curves as she moved. "Your highness. There is something here that you should read." She handed the Emperor the paper with a blank expression.

Dusanyu eyes scanned back and forth as it moved down the page, mumbling to himself while he read. He calmly lowered the page and folded it in half and then again. He handed it back over to Lexshue as he eyed her. "Send this to Lamia and instruct him to make it public to those that are gathered. Your other task is to wake Commander Atosuryua. The both of you are to take two Whitestars from the Head-Hunter squadron and await outside for the Excalibur to arrive. Once it is here, I will board it and we will attend the meeting."

The woman saluted with two fingers next to her tiarra and walked out of the throne room. Atosuryua's quarters was her first destination, hopefully she wasn't asleep yet.

In fifteen minutes, two Whitestars and the Victory Class Destroyer, Excalibur, had formed up outside of the Capital. A jump gate was opened as they made their way to the appointed nuetral territory.

Baileygates quickly left the meeting, and boarded her shuttle, notes and briefcase and bodyguards in hand. They boarded their shuttle, and soon headed home ot Luxembourgia. The message from the Chronosians convinced Baileygates she needed a People's Acolyte, somebody who could keep up with the slippery Chronosians. They had been good to the Workers, but who knows...

The trip was quick, an Acolyte got onboard. Then, escorted by two Mao Zedong IIIs under a flag of truce, their shuttle arrived at the neutral area set up by the Chronosians....

Tancred K'Tan, 18 year-old heir of the Federated Suns of Starenell, sat in his booth in the Colesseum on Solaris, watching the gladatorial 'Mech combat. He cheered all who fought well, and watched the mistakes of those who did not. An aide walked into his booth, barely noticed. "Milord Tancred" "Yes Jandar?" "A message has arrived from Avalon sire" Tancred grimaced, this could mean only one thing, his father wanted him to do something. "Bring it here." "Yes Milord." A few minutes later Jandar reappeared, holding a verifaxed envelope. Tancred took the paper, opened it, read it. "Fun" Grumbled Tancred. "What Milord?" "Nothing Jandar. We must leave now. We are going to parlay with Chronosia." Tancred walked out of the booth "I hate diplomacy."

A WarShip arrived in-system, a few days later. A hail arrived from the Staric ship, requesting permission to land.

Were the ships to land, which they were free to do, as the people of the world encouraged them to embrace the idyllic lifestyle that now surrounded them; were they to be led forth to meet the 'Esteemed Guest' who had come amongst them, they would be faced with the fair visage of her. She smiled softly, watching them almost as a hawk watches it's favored prey; her nose wrinkling slightly, arms folded across her waist, just below her breasts; eyes, seeming black and red and green all at once, shimmering as they analysed them.

"Welcome." She smirked, giggling softly. "I don't expect you to be the first, nor the last of your order to come here, to respond to my Master's most generous offer of diplomacy" A teasing smile, a flash of white teeth. She raised a hand, fingernails engraved jewels and precious metals; some gleaming in obsidian and ruby; others alight with gold, platinum; emerald and sapphire. Ornate tattoos seemed to slither from the sleeves and neck of her robe; hidden, yet teasingly glanced like umbral echoes.

"I am Elsabet Prestor; a cog in the beautiful machine; a Countess in the high order of Chronosia. I have married into the High Lords; and am, in my own right, a power in my land. And so it is, that I come before you, in diplomacy. In peace. For my Master has no will to make war with you; nor to make enemies of you...All. In the olden days, New Dornalia, Abh and Neo Zeta all called themselves our friend; so we seek to re-establish the old bonds; drown the old hatreds."

Dusanyu rested his cheeck on his fist. He sat there pondering new battle tactics from reading histories and gaining experience from the present. His mind began to wander towards a possible wife he should take. That thought was quickly dismissed. A wife? What in the name of the Abh was he thinking? Thoughts began to wander towards just women in general which brought a grin to his face.

A small golden bird with bulging red eyes landed on the Emperor's shouders and disrupted him from his thoughts. He looked to his shoulder and sighed. "I wish the Betterman council would inform me when they plan to arrive. I hate it when you sneak up on me like that. Do you spy on my bedchamber?"

No response. "What are you here for then?"

The lipid channel began working in response. To observe. Dusanyu only sighed.

A large surge of energy formed in the system of the appointed meeting. A blue jump gate formed as the three ships moved into normal space.

Transmission to Chronosian representative~

The Emperor of the Abh Empire is here to personally oversee this discussion. Requesting coordinates to land shuttle. The party will contain the Emperor and two female commanders.

Asuke was about to have her first experience making first contact with the Chronosians, a people who's reputation was heard even within the isolated confines of Sovereignty. Asuke wasted no time, in making her way to the neutral territory specified. A small task force of 2 Preamus Battlecarriers accompanied a small diplomatic cruiser. The Sovereignty was taking no chances with a nation famous for its dark and devious ways. The BC's took up orbit over the world as the smaller cruiser descended into the atmosphere.

The vessel made it's landing, and Asuke simply waited for the others to make their move first.

Baileygates landed, and was led, Acolyte and all, to the waiting Countess.

She then curtsied and said, after listening to the speech, "We too, have no ill will towards you. After all, like you said, the Workers State and the Imperium joined forces as friends once, in our case, to ensure the New Dornalian claim to the New Territories."

She then said, after nodding to her Acolyte retainer, "So, I believe the first thing to do, then, would be to negotiate some kind of continued Non-Aggression Agreement between Chronosia and the Workers State, as well as a Trade Agreement. After all, your technologies proved to be valuable gifts, and we are most grateful."

Two thunderbolt fighters launched from the Excalibur. Lexshue and Atosuryua shared one fighter while Dusanyu was accompanied by a member of the Betterman Council and a small gift in the back. That is it all depended how the meeting went.

The two fighters landed and both commanders hopped out and made their way to the Emperor. Dusanyu climbed out with the bird still perched on his shoulder. Atosuryua leaned in and grabbed the iron case. Lexshue quickened her pace to help with the other side.

The Emperor lead the way to meet the Countess while Lexshue and Atosuryua followed close behind each carrying a side of the case. Their long blue capes bellowed in the wind. Their form fitting military uniforms soaked up the light in their hues of blue and gray. Their command sabers rocked back and forth while their golden hilts glinted. Dusanyu's golden tiarra outshined it all as he approached.

His long blue hair reached down below his shoulders and his purple eyes scanned the area around.

Only of many secrets this women held. She dressed in her G.F.F.A preators uniform but also kept the sword given to Neo Zetan Admirals at her side.

She took the Eclipse Class Lion Heart fresh from action. The ship exited hyperspace after a few hours. Rei took a shuttle to the meeting area and the landing area assigned. She had a mission to do a very importent one at that. And at the same time had to keep things secret.

She slowly walked into the meeting room and saw the chronosian women.

" I am Rei Zephons Praetor of the G.F.F.A and Admiral of Neo Zetas Crimson Fleet." She slightly bowed.

In a cautious move, the Patriarch has decided to send one of the members of the Diplomatic Corps of Jurai.

In a reddish diplomatic cruiser, low-level diplomat Grayson Chevin was a fairly young man, though sharp in the ways of diplomacy. He was considered a rising star, slated to go higher someday. Brown hair covers his head and a small beard and moustache covered his face. A pair of hazel eyes gazed out at the neutral planet as the cruiser descended down to the planet.

Shortly, it landed, disgorging the diplomat, unarmed. He was lead to the Countess' position along with the other diplomats.

Once he reached the Cheops after leaving the G.F.F.A. meeting, Holy Emperor Nathan Hale Bridger sent out a message that would be relayed to Alantis. Field Marshall Gun Grave was being ordered to attend the meeting with the Chronosian representative.

Atlantis - Hanger Bay

After a final check, Field Marshall Gun Grave (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y131/Kvess/Character%20Pics/gungrave.jpg) launched in his personnel Cosmo Jaguar long-range fighter, the I.S.S. Hellgazer. Once clear of Atlantis, the ship slipped into a Hyperspace Window.

Five hours later

The Hellgazer, slid out of a Hyperspace window in orbit of the neutral planet that Chronosia had designated as the meeting site. A message was sent down.

This is Field Marshall Gun Grave, representing the Holy Empire of SeaQuest. Holy Emperor Nathan Hale Bridger, as the one who chose to join the G.F.F.A, has ordered me to represent our interests. I now request landing permission and co-ordinates of a landing site.

Dusanyu moved his long hair behind one of his pointed ears and grabbed for a glass of red wine. Commander Atosuryua poured a white wine for herself and plopped back down. She sat there twirling it around in the glass before taking a drink. Dusanyu sat there sipping his red wine slowly waiting for everything to begin. Commander Lexshue sat there with her arms crossed below her chest and watched the gathered representatives.

I would have it that we be, if not friends, at least civil; as such, I have made preparations in the event of my...Coming to harm." She giggled softly, turning from them, pacing from one side and then to the other; seeming dainty; almost harmless. "In that event, my associates in orbit will have no choice but to incinerate the world; as such, I would advise us both to remain on good terms."

"Now; to the meat of the matter, as it were. We wish to make sure that the G.F.F.A will never stand to be a threat to the Imperium. My Master holds many of you in high regard, as both friends and enemies; but certain...Elements cannot, and will not be ignored. She handed the glass over. "It should have a mixture of fruit flavors and such as it rolls over various taste buds of your tongue. If you do not like it then I have something else that may help erase the alcohol in the wine."

Dusanyu smirked. "Pride is to be expected in a room with such company as this. We Abriels have our fair share of it."

He brought both hands up as he rested his elbows on the table. His fingers entertwined as they hid his chin and mouth. "As far as agression towards the Chronosians or members of your alliance, then that is something you do not have to fear from the GFFA. The purpose of the alliance was founded for peace itself where alligned nations would watch each others backs in the event a nation decided to become imperialistic and invade our allies. The purpose was for mutual defense and trading between all our nations. You misunderstood if you believed we had our eyes aimed at expanding our own territories but I do agree that it is best to be prepared. The GFFA has no desire to wage war against anyone."

Through the massed power of the Imperial Guard and the Legions of Space Marines; through the Imperial Navy who smite worlds from rim to core."

If the Chronosians want peace with the Galactic Alliance, then we must give it to them or else we would be hypocrites. If we are not at peace, then we are at war. Lexshue grinned. "We are quite a clean people. I would not have offered it to you if I had drank from it first." She grabbed a glass from a nearby table and filled it half way with the water. Inside the glass, there were light sparkles as rays of light beamed down into the water.

His grin widened. "Though individual nations do reserve the right to. If you want peace, then you may want to sign non agression pacts with every individual nation. But the GFFA has no problem with incooperating your nation into our trade."

Asuke accepted the glass, and took a sip. "Thanks." she said as she reached for it. "Oh, it's good... Thanks." Asuke took another sip and raised her glass in thanks.

She turned her head and spoke up with regard to the other comments made before her. "Yes, the Sovereignty shares these same peaceful views. Though I can't say we really enjoy the company of those who are so free with their arrogance, and even more open in admitting it, my government still stands ready to consider any terms that you may offer."

Of course, the Godulans know ICly that this is pretty much a rather thinly veiled attempt by Chronosia to divide the GFFA against itself, playing on the fact that two of CW's allies (Neo Zeta and Abh) are allies with Chronosia at the same time. A circumstance that would be highly precarious for both nations should confrontation arise between the two.

Such an occurence will not be averted by this meeting.

As the Godulans could not attend this meeting (CW will explain why later), such information is unfortunately not available to those assembled. One simply needs to ask, however.

The key to Chronosian diplomacy is machiavellianism with a smile, and while the Godulans are nowhere near as capable at the practices of turning ally against ally for personal gain, the Godulans know exactly where to spot it. The Godulans have a natural enmity against Chronosia due to its penchant towards genocidal acts of planetary scale, and the Godulans' fierce hatred of such acts.

In fact, this hatred is so great that were Neo Zeta or Abh to attempt such an act while the Godulans are in a position to stop it, they will not hesitate to do so in the most ferocious manner possible.

Anyway, back to the RP. I'm sure that my OOC blather is disrupting the proceedings somewhat...

I can confirm, however, that it was single combat; the Warmaster needed no legions to fight in his stead; he needed no warriors to die in his name for it to be a fine death; an honorable death" She chuckled softly; eyes gleaming as she smiled now. "We have rather fine relations with some Masaki's; the true rulership of the Core Worlds; even, it is rumored, kinship of blood amongst the royal houses" An acid smile.

"The people of Deatharon are right to fear us for our past acts; but we did what we did in support of Neo Zeta and her people and her allies; that she might live against the Republic who assailed her. You will notice that the vast majority of assaults on the Deatharon Empire came, not from Chronosia, but from other forces; I seem to remember ships laid low by the Tyranid swarms; and an entire system laid low for the suicidal pride of your race...If there are those who think us depraved for sacrificing a world that the Billions of Chronosia may live; what of Deatharon; who scorched Earth on a system-wide scale? Who snuffed out even the stars?"

The Warmaster Marius Krell with his bulbous eyes squinted in anger and telepathicly replied, "The Empire could not stand agaisnt the Neo Zeta and the Abh without the support of the Republic. The Imperium destroyed our chance at surriving. Thus in a general sense you and your ilk left the people of Deatharon to the sharks. The Grand Shadow Empire will never forgive or forget that slight. We will watch your Imperium closely from now on. As for our policy on wipeing out the Antaries Galaxy. What would the Imperium do if it was out numbered and out gunned and the chances of victory impossiable? We refused to become slaves and we refused to see the Galaxy of our Origin be corrupted by the Demons and heritics. We picked the most sound plan we could come up with lure there forces into our galaxy and level it. We hoped they would lose the bulk of there forces, however they some how managed to figure out the ploy. The Emperor was killed because he stayed behind to make sure the weapon was set. We found his corpse on the ground near the Wormhole gate that led to our Aries Supercluster stronghold. We have thus blamed four nations for first Emperor Akarth's Death Neo Zeta, Abh, The Tyranid, and the Chronsians."

OOC: Note that Marius was a human General at the time but thanks to the memory modifications due to his change of species. He is a zelot in the True Origin belief. All Deatharons are now thanks to the massive purging efforts of the Antaran Church...

"You are well and truly entitled to your beliefs; but we shall not fall to our knees and scream repentence for supposed crimes. We are here to bury old hatchets; end old grudges. Even with the clan Masaki. The Imperium, will of course, reserve terms in this respect; for example, that the Chronosian Blood-kin of the Masaki's have full claim to that which his blood owes; the throne of the Core Worlds" A wry chuckle once more.

"To be frank; were we outnumber and outgunned; we would fight and we die as warriors; than live as slaves and vagabonds. We would bring our foe death even in our final moments; fighting only to further the grand plans of the true Gods. We would spill blood for the Blood God; savor every final perversity for the Dark Prince; we would spread the noxious ichors of Nurgle as the taint of our death-throes poisoned the galaxy; the malignant machinations of Tzeentch cast to every corner or every world. We note that you are quick enough to forgive the Abh and the Neo Zetans; embrace them; call them brother; fight under their flag, because you emerged to the corpse of a galaxy over-run by maggots...Had their been a Chronosian occupation, the roles would have been reversed; we the Master and not the Diplomat; you the Slave and not the prospective ally."

Nom Anor watched in amusement as the other delegates argued and played into the Chronosians' hands. He secretly delighted at the prospect of the break up of the GFFA. Nom Anor had been completely against joining an organization dedicated to peace. Peace is not the way of the Yuuzhan Vong... "If we are all done arguing over superfluous details, perhaps we should finally get down to discussing this peace? If the Galactic Alliance is truly dedicated to peace then it shouldn't matter who we have peace with. Rather than argue like a bunch of crechelings over trifling things, let us become adults again and get back to business."

"We shall have peace with your alliance; perhaps with those in it; we shall have guarantees that no attacks on either side shall take place; the jaunt on the Azahan system; for example" Her eyes turned like daggers towards the Coredian.

"We are not the ancient terror come to consume you all; we are not evil in ourselves. We have sinned, true enough; but only in your eyes. Everything we do, aids the survival of the Chronosian people and the advancement of a unified Humanity; ruled by Chaos. Certainly, we have done great things; for good and ill. The Emperor crossed his arms and smirked. "I am honored that the Abh are thought so highly of."

He reached up and drained his glass of the remaining wine and signaled for another. "In any case, this discussion is not a difficult one. You want our assurance the GFFA will not attack you? Fine you have it since we do not promote starting wars with other nations without just cause. Whoever does so, does it without the GFFA military forces. We will also reserve the right to either defend them or not should their attacks fail and be pushed back within their own borders. Whether or not we are allied, friendly, or despise you makes no difference when it comes to a nonagression pact. The same goes for your master as well countess."

"Non-aggression, I am sure is perfectly acceptable for both sides. There is no need to discuss peace and non-aggression because one cancels out the other. In peace there is no aggression. If there is no aggression, there is peace." Nom Anor announced from his seat at the far end of the table. He leaned back and clasped his hands together in his lap then spoke again. "Perhaps instead of continuing with the veiled threats, we should discuss specific terms of such an agreement? What good is a treaty that is so general that it could be interpreted millions of ways?"

He looked around the table again, wondering why the Supreme Overlord sent him to this meeting. Any of the half-brained intendents would have sufficed, indeed they would have fit right in with some of these infidels. Instead Choka had sent Nom Anor - High Prefect Nom Anor. The greatest spy and diplomat the Empire had ever known. A waste of resources, quite obviously. This meeting was a waste of Nom Anor's time and of the Empire's resources.

This whole alliance is a waste of time for the Empire. I told Choka myself, but of course he doesn't listen to anyone but the priests... Why the Empire associates with such a group of dimwitted infidels is beyond me... Nom Anor thought as he crossed eyes with each of the delegates.

In his usual quite, but carrying, tone, he said, "SeaQuest policy is not to fire the first shot."

"Now, can we get back to the matter at hand without this bickering?"

The Warmaster looked upon the Chronosian diplomat and said, " If we were forced to confront the Chronosians directly. We would have mearly rallied under the cry of Maldoran. The Entire Empire would have fought to the last Deatharon warrior. The people would even be forced to take reserve weapons to fight your Space Marines and Imperial Guard. There would have been no quarter given nor one accepted. The Antarans would have given us victory over your cowardly False one Gods. We may have allied with the Neo Zetans and the Abh but they have not enslaved us or corrupted us to there beliefs. The Grand Shadow Empire is willing to accept that however we know that if Imperium had marched agaisnt us directly. The only way to surrive is to meet your legions directly and kill them to the man."

OOC: Quick reference for word Maldoran: Means holy war for the Antarans. The Antaran Church uses this to motivate the Empire into wageing Total war agaisnt the hertic nations of the universe. (Think Jihad or Crusade.)

A twisted craft screamed into reality above the planet, the tremendous energies of the jump dissapating around it. It slowly maneuvered into a parking orbit, checking with the system control for location confrimation. When this was accomplished, a small shuttle pod descended to the surface, landing serenly on the pad. Several other ships were here, of multiple makes and sizes, but most of them bore the seal of the GFFA, a proud but young banner.

------------------------------------

Matt Hunter was late for the meeting, and he knew it. It had been an almost defiant gesture, planned to the minute. He was there for far more than Prime Minister James Talon knew, and hopefully his visit would prove quite fruitful.

Chronasia. These are a people who know power. Much like mine, Talon be damned! His inept rule crushed the Laski Clan, decimated the traditions of a thousand years and turned our country's back on the soul of the Inferno. Why should he harm my Clan, my brothers!? And yet he lives unpunished?

Well... this is an opportunity to reawaken the true nature of the Inferno. Even if it means throwing in with the likes of Chronasia, those tratiorous dogs. It is far better than this GFFA or the weak race of fools that Archer courted. The Laski shall rule, as is our Gods-given right.

He moved his way towards the meeting area, wrestling with his thoughts. It was hard to stomach the idea of turning on the other Clans, but the Laski had been betrayed to the highest degree possible. A betrayal of the brotherhood between the Laski and Talon, an alliance held for centuries.

------------------------------------

Matt wandered into the room, a wide and cordial smile on his face, his expression betraying nothing of his purpose.

"Hail Chronasia, a force in the Galaxy. I am Matt Hunter of the powerful Galactic Inferno of No Endorse, sent in the stead of our leader. His health is failing, and cannot travel afar.

We are both members of the Galactic Empire, and while we have not had direct relations, our soldiers have stood side by side in defense of the Empire. This gives us an interesting position, one that we are seeking to resolve."

It was a game so fine that you could barely see the knife's edge. And to play it, you had to be sharper still, or you would get cut.

I shall never tire of the dance.

"I am glad I am not one of your underlings then. But maybe your underlings can repair a damaged jump drive in a mere fraction of the time we can. It's difficult to replace containment units while under fire, which I can attest to after this last trip. However, you are welcome to demonstrate your prowess with hyperdrives if you wish.

Dusanyu smiled and shrugged. "More or less."

I can't believe you let Lamia attend such a meeting. He is the youngest of the bettermen and the most likely to fight anyone who stretches their neck out to far. You know he could have killed everyone in the room and you let him bring the seed of Forte?!

Matt held the loosening tension as proof in his mind that he could still hit with tact, regardless of the reality of the situation. He had betrayed nothing that a non-telepathic being could suspect, except for common paranoia, and that was good for the day.

It appeared that the Coredian delegate was also quite amused at the Vong and their complete ignorance of the intricacies of technology. They could grow a fearsome ship from seeds, but honestly didn't know an R2 from an R7.

"Yes I have been given a copy." Matt pulled out his datapad and linked up to the meeting. "I agree with the honorable SeaQuestian delegate. Back to buisness."

It was a plan that would make things much easier for the G.F.F.A. in the future, were open hostilities between it and Chronosia to break out. The rift was real now, but at the moment, it things seemed much worse than they really were. The Vongs could be brought about in time.

More or less, things were going according to plan. Only NE's Matt presented any sort of problem. {Heh, heh...} Asuke thought lightly.

"All in due time." Asuke replied.

The yellow bird on Dusanyu's shoulder turned its head again. The lipid channel began flashing. And nothing was destroyed while Lamia was there? Impressive. The council has just informed me that the nation of Azaha has joined your alliance.

Dusanyu smiled. "That should make things very interesting then."

Battle has also broken out elsewhere. Your ally SeaQuest is under attack and Trife has dispatched Admiral Bebaus to tend to the situation.

Dusanyu's look was puzzled. "Why did not Trife deal with it himself? Spoor is more than capable to tend to matters in his stead."

There is unrest elsewhere and Trife will be needed before you to long. Your Empire cannot afford to divert too many more Admirals and Commanding officers along with resources.

Dusanyu nodded. "I know. At least Bebaus will gain more experience. Hopefully he will have learned his lesson this time around. Lord Rahl will not be there to take care of him. I was disappointed in his last performance." That is why these two women have accompanied me today. They are possible candidates for Admirals. That is if they desire it.

The yellow creature cocked its head.

With only a subtle tad of effort, Grave's thoughts on the matter were open to her. What seemed to be frustration, was merely a show Asuke had put up. Grave looked at the woman. He had felt a brushing against his mind for some time now and had just tracked it down to its source.

"I take it," he whispered into her mind, "that you are the one monitoring everyone's thoughts."

OOC: Note, I never did say what species Grave is or what his mental abilites are.

(OOC: I know, that's why I said I'd change the post if desired, but now that you're a telapath too, I'll just say thank you for not having me change that.)

{Yes, monitoring only, nothing overly invasive. That's all I can do anyway. Back to the meeting shall we?} Asuke only gave a quick glance in acknowledgement and a light grin to Grave, and turned her attention elsewhere to the other members.

Baileygates then said, "Masks or not, ladies and gentlemen, I must concur with the Countess.....let us continue the diplomacy, and not tear into each other."

OOC: Well, he can send and recieve mental messages, but he can't read minds. He has some telekinetic ablity as well.

IC: "More than I can do," sent Grave, "of course, the mental arts weren't my forté, as they say."

Grave listened as the others discussed masks and politics. He smiled remembering his own past experiences with such things. His expression returned to normal as he remembered that wasn't his life any more, but the family he had from it still existed.

Baileygates then said, smiling yet somewhat terse: "So, shall we get back to business? I am eager to sign a peace."
