At 9:05 AM January 1st, 2021 Pax Pacisinite soldiers landed on the border between Serbia and Montenegro and Albania. Troops then moved along the border to Kosovo. The Leader of Pax Pacis , Ali Mohammed has told the Serbian Government to surrender Kosovo and there will be no problem. Submit to some other demands and they will be fine and no blood will be shed.

OOC: I am under the assumption your troops are in SW Kosovo. Please correct me if I am wrong.

10:11 am: Dragan Pancic addressed the nation from the Parliamentary headquarters in Belgrade. His words were:

"Minutes ago, Jugoslav intelligence reported insurgent forces entering the cities of Junik and Dakovica. Our message is this. We shall not bow to the demands of a fanatical state, we shall not surrender the land of the Slavs without the spilling of blood. If you wish to take Kosovo, If you desire Pristina, you will have to take each clump of dirt out of the hands of dead Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks. We shall not surrender, we laugh at your demands, and we will make your children orphans. May God have mercy on your unholy souls."

10:40am: Lt. Zvonimir Kelic, resplendent in his navy blue airman's uniform, checked the heads-up display on his SVB aircraft (it's a rebadged F16 Falcon, btw) and tracked for his quarry.

"Hawk Six to base, target acquired, over"
"Roger that, Havk Six, fire when ready"
"Over and out"

Kelic released the two 400lb missiles at the Paxis troop division...

Troops were walking along the border. The walked and wa;ked tired and exhausted when the sound of planes were heard. Two missiles were heading for them. The troops had no where to go. The bombs fell wiping out 115 of the 120 men. The other men were severely injured for the most part.

1:56 PM. Pax Pacis with it's states Vatican City, Portugal, Spain, Equatorial Guinea, Trinidad and Tobago, and Columbia hereby Declare War on Serbia and Montenegro. Reason for war being Pax Pacis government wished to liberate Kosovo and absorb it to ensure it will not fall with all of the Balkans. The balkans to often shed blood and will ultimatly fall apart. This was an attempt to free Kosovo and absorb it temporarily. Once it was strong it would be freed. It would be independent to make it's own descisions. Before troops advance into Serb territory we will once again offer peace. We will take Kosovo you may have military in Kosovo it will just be a Pax Pacisinite state.

2:01pm. "The Nation of Krytenia-Jugoslavia, made up of the states of Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Srpska, and Kosovo, is hereby at a state of war with the Union of Pax Pacis.

However, a nation who appear to stand for peace should be given an olive branch. We propose a plebiscite, independently adjudicated, to decide the fate of Kosovo. We shall not make any attacks on Paxian forces until the results of this plebicite are decided.

You have six hours to answer, otherwise we shall welcome your pathetic troops to oblivion."

The choice seems fair. When will the vote be held and can we campaign and plee cases?

OOC: I assume this is us pleeing our cases before a council and whoever the council decides has the best objective for Kosovo gets it. If that's the case then here's my post:

7:08 PM. The United Peace Union of Pax Pacis declare that this seems fair but where would it be held? In Kosovo?

OOC: Plebiscite = vote, referendum. I'm proposing that we let the people of Kosovo decide. As such, I'll let you repost, as the IC now makes no sense.

OOC: Who decided that? If we make it 1 RL day to 1 NS day everything will take FOREVER
I figue it may be a good idea to make it a system identical to E1900 (1 year to a RL week, each day is 1 or 2 months)

OOC:Nobody decided. It's better to stay in the same age before getting all history complete. Sorry for taking away you authorization here. However, we are still in 2020 until you don't say we are in 2021...

OOC:b For what it's worth, probably the only thing that might keep the situation under control until all this is KFOR. Unlike Bosnia I didn't get the impression Kosovo was attacked by Serb forces. If that is the case then Germany will still have it's peacekeeping forces in place so long as at least a few other nations do/did
New Preussen ,which has a mutual security arrangement with Germany has provided logistical support and peacekepers to try to make up for those nations which withdrew.
