History:
For a long time the Silver Sky Republican Air Force needed away to penetrate the extremely thick bunkers and missile silos that most nations field, when used against submarine pens similar to those used in WW2 the effect was devestating, the whole pen was obilverated, the extremely thick steel and Osmium-Cobalt Alloy penetrator broke throught the entire 25ft thick and dove through 50ft of water and got stuck in 20ft of thick dense mud before exploding.

The blast radius for a surface detonated version extended too nearly 3 miles, over 3 times that of the MOAB. In an test bomb was ejected from 60,000ft by a totally stripped down B-300EL from 65,000ft (Actual combat altitude would be ~55,000ft) after falling fast it hit the test bunker and penetrated 10 stories, a total of ~75ft of concrete before exploding, the explosion totally destroyed another 175ft of concrete, it caused huge chunks of steel reinforced concrete to fall from the ceiling at ~700ft down(mission kill), and smaller pieces to break off at up too ~900-1000ft down.

Truely an "earthquake" bomb if their ever is one, seismometers up too 10 miles away registered at least a 2 and the ones near the blast site registered an 10.0 up too 600 meters away for a very brief time.

Currently Deployed to the Atlantia, Pacific, and Marshall colonies for combat testing against ships, especially SDs, which have been very effective. It also has the ability to be surface detonated, which can clear huge amounts of land and knock over tanks and armored vehicles along with totally destroying even hardened buildings and ruining runways. The "Super Nova" will only be used against "Ultra-Hard Targets"

SIC: It is rumored that the Super Nova will be seeing actual combat within the ensuing year.

The "Nova", like it's bigger brother can be surface detonated with startling effectiveness.

SIC: It has also gone under extensive testing for a total of 15 control test, it is also being deployed in numbers to over seas troops, namely those in the new colonies.

After an extensive background check the Willink order has ben denied, The Silver Sky has long since left the UNA.

We are deeply sorry.

As a fellow member of the IADF the Confederacy would like to order 150 GDB-001s for $300 million and 1300 GDB-002s for $1300 million we hope you will accept our offer.

(I dont think there are any IC reasons for you to refuse me, anyway i have a colonial air command to arm, im afraid of the wars which will probably start very soon on the mainland, arnt you in a standoff with Skinny? if that come to war i have t come to your aid.)
The Silver Sky

The order by Spizania will be fufilled...to some extent, while you're are right at the fact that we are "allied" through thr IADF we will have to refuse your order for the 150 GDB-001s on the grounds that besides the IADF we have had no formal contact with you, and even if we were allies you'd still receive no more then 100, and the government feels it's too large a number of weapons to export to a nation with very little contact, although we can deliver up to 25 of these weapons directly to you colony from ours and train your troops in loading the huge weapons as they need a special loader and set up in the bomb bays of planes.

There is another problem with the order of the 1300 GDB-002s, namely because it's huge and like the GDB-001 the government is not comfortable with giving that many to even close allies, we have however received permission to fufill 1/4th of that order, so in the end the order will come too:

25 GDB-001s for $50 Million
325 GDB-002s for $325 Million

We hope you accept this.

[OOC: I never planned to release more then 50-100 GDB-001s to even close allies because these are pretty much the closest a conventional weapon could get to nuclear power. As for the GDB-002s I have no OOC resevations except for the huge number, that would have been more then I am fielding at the moment, and ICly the government would have felt the same.]

Althouhg we are dissapointed in the restrictions placed upon the order it is confirmed nonetheless and the money has ben wired, we look forward to a time when our status as your allies will be confirmed.
Your trainers will be treated as honored guests of the colonial garrison.
The Silver Sky
13-11-2005, 16:59
We have received the money and production has begun, however inorder to get you the weapons faster we have been able to secure 5 GDB-001s and 25 GDB-002s from the colonies and they are being delivered as we speak, the remainder of the weapons will be delivered in 4-6 months.

[OOC: About your comment about war with skinny: WTF? I'm not in a stand off with him? We haver very little contact, and the only war about to spring up would be the one I'm planning with Doom.]
The Silver Sky
13-11-2005, 17:13
OOC: Added some stricter export conditions, should prevent any problems in the future.

Then we would like to purchase fifty of the Novas. Money will be wired upon confirmation of this order.

OOC: Out of curiousity, what flagged me on the background check?
The Silver Sky
20-11-2005, 06:08
Your order is confirmed, production will commence right away.

OOC: It was your involvment in the Anti-Communist-Socialist Pact, while I do believe communism/socialism doesn't wokr in real life I have many allies who are communist/socialist.

Exetonia
27-11-2005, 17:46
Hrmm, Exetonia sees these weapons as useful but as yet to expensive to purchase (ooc: assuming that id be able to buy them anyways). Exetonia always salutes the production of higher yield conventional; weapons as more damage can be done without resorting to the use of wmd's. Although not mentioned the Exetonian Government assumes that these bombs have been constructed in such a way that should they be disassembled to be studied an eventually built by the nation that built them, they would self destruct destroying the facility?
The Silver Sky
27-11-2005, 18:07
Yes, these weapons are useful in a variety of roles, although the "Nova" has a bit more uses then the "Super Nova". And yes, the bombs do have anti-tamper devices tied into the weapon's fuse that cause the weapon to explode.
Exetonia
27-11-2005, 18:09
(ooc: and thus, you avoid any messyness if some one rp's reverse engineering the weapon ;) )
The Silver Sky
27-11-2005, 18:25
OOC: Yeah, but it's also considered bad form if you steal/rip someone's tech or weapon design.
Exetonia
27-11-2005, 18:27
ooc: not if you fairly rp the reverse engineering of the weapon it isnt. To just say i reversed engineerd it is but to do a full blown roleplay is... (although of course it would be nice if they asked permission first). Id consider it badform if they reversed engineerd it then put it for sale on the market at a cheaper price than the original owner. It may even be godmodding because most people sell their weapons at the lowest possible price to get a significant profit to make it worth it... Hell, this threads not for arguing the toss about roleplaying ettiquette etc.. I tghink i smell an ooc thread coming on..

<subnote> It is a nice weapon in its own right and i can see youve put a lot of thought into this and your other items. Kudos to you :) </subnote>
