The Kraven Corporation [Factbook]

I don't have an actual Factbook, So Im going to create this to detail just about every aspect of the Corporation I can think of, so bear with me, it will be On going.

The Country

The Mainland of the Corporation is generaly an inhospitable land to any outsider, the climate is cold and harsh with very little vegetation as the country is usualy under 4 ft of snow for the majoritory of the year.

There are next to no trees in the Mainland, most of the trees were harvested by The Corporation in its early years, what few trees remain are not worth cutting down.

The Country is split into two main areas, Kravonika and Cydonia.

Kravonika:

Kravonika is the only City in The Corporation, it houses the countries entire population for ease of policing and streamlining, this is also the only place where Citizens are allowed and can actualy survive, exiting the city is outlawed punishable by death.

The City is made up of 5 Distinct areas, The Industrial Area, The Habcenters, The Military Sector, The Imperial Palace and Slums

The Industrial Area: This is where the Factories are situated and where the majoritory of the Citizens work, Every factory here is dedicated to producing weapons of war, from tanks to bullets from Armour to Guns, it is made here. Propaganda is high and workers are constantly reminded of their duty to the Corporation and that they should continue to do their best in supporting the War effort. Garrisons of Capitol Police are high, and Road blocks and other Military Police buildings are present.


The Habcenters: This area are where the Citizens are housed, Each Sector is divided into work groups, when one work group are in the factories the other are at home resting before their shift, These areas have High Capitol Police Garrisons present, and Road blocks and other Military Police buildings are present, Propaganda is extremely heavy here as is its presence at the Factories.

Other Buildings here include Foodmarkets, where the nations main food, Soylent is distributed to the populace in exchange for Work Quotas, these are rewarded to Citizens after Completing or exceeding a work quota set for the day, if a Citizen fails a quota, they go hungry for the day or week, this ensures work qoutas are completed, if you want to eat you work.

Private vehicle owner ship is outlawed, instead Civil Transport is set up to transport work groups to their respective factories these are either via a Tram network or Military Transport Trucks.

Commercial Vehicles are the highest percentage of vehicles in Kravonika, transporting Arms and Ammunition to Hardened Bunkers until they are to be used.

The Military Sector:

The Military sector contains most of the Garrisons, Air Fields, bunkers warehouses, Birthing Factories and Cloning Facilities.

This area if forbidden to Citizens and also houses the Infamous Camp 18, the notorius extermination camp, where thought criminals were sent to be exterminated.

Military presence here is naturaly high and Road blocks, Patrols, and other Capitol Police movments are heavy, this area is the most heavily fortified part of the city, the Secret Police head quaters are also here, although many of the Reichmarshals and Kreigsmarines operate throughout the City this is their main base of operations and contain the Interrogation chambers below the City.

The Imperial Palace:

This is the Corporations seat of power, where it rules the Country with its Iron fist of military oppression, the Imperial Palace is roughly 150x150kms, with two tall spires in the center that reach 2 miles, the fortification here are imense, with an inner Wall defending what is known as "The Forbidden City" within are further Capitol Police Garrisons as well as a strong presence of the Panzergrenadier Divisions.

The Imperial Palace contains the Command Relay, the system that the Corporation uses to relay commands to Units across the world instantly, using the Kraven battlelanguage system. This system allows the Corporation to co-ordinate attacks between units without a time delay and allowing the Corporation to deploy units within a moments notice.

An attack upon one sector will result in the Command relay being informed as soon as the attack begins, the information would be then instantaneously relayed across the Nearby units, resulting a quick deployment of reserves.

The Slums:

The Slums are the remenants of the Former country, before the Corporation took over, this is where thought criminals and other degenerates reside, those who turn from the protection of the Corporation go here, it is said that a resistance force is attempting to mount an attack upon the Corporation but neither has the means or the will to carry it out, The Corporation just recently launched a brutal attack against the Slum district in the hopes of finaly removing this unwanted element, the attack went well, however The International community chose to intervine and the Resistance as regrouped its forces and even now prepare to strike, The Corporation however have forced back the foreign aggression and have consolidated their position in preparation for a second attack on the slum district.

Many of the buildings here are old brick buildings of the old government, many people here are deprived and destetute but have lived for a number of years without fear of the Secret Police or the Capitol Police, the Corporation ignored the slums for a number of years until a series of bizzare explosions across Kravonika prompted the swift attack....

The Capitol Police fight running battles with Insurgents who are trying to cripple Camp 18 and remove the Corporations extermination facilities, all attacks so far have been ineffective, and slowly the Resistance run out of Ammunition and the will to fight...

==== Cydonia ====

Cydonia, is the Northern Most region of Kraven, this part of the Kraven Penninsular is a frigid hell hole, Temperatures drop to Minus 45 degrees Centigrade, there are no plants, and the only animals are Rats and Snow Drakes.

Cydonian Rat - These rats are larger than the normal Vermin, and have larger body masses to resist the cold, their fur is thicker and white, however Rats found in the Mining complex are often, of the same body mass but with a grey fur instead

Snow Drake - Snow Drakes are a Common feature of Cydonia, and often pray upon the Cydonian Rat, they are large Predatorial Felines, similar in appearance to a Lion but smaller stature, they are territorial and often hunt in packs or alone (In the case of Older Snow Drakes) their fur is a Grey and white cammoflauge pattern

---------------------------- Terrain -----------------------------

The Terrain of Northern Cydonia Varies, in the Further Northern parts, the land is incredibly rocky and mountainous, where most of the Mining Operation takes place, vast tunnels snake through this region as well as several Forges and Smelting Plants, Power Stations make use of the Vast Coal deposits in this region, Despite the Weather outside, this part of the Region is unbareably hot, due to the intense heat from the Foundries, furnaces and power stations.

In the Southern Regions of Cydonia, it is generaly, flat, and open, with small undulating hills and various small buildings from people who used to live in this region, until Kraven took over and they were shipped down into Kravonika.

In Both Areas, The Cydonian Rats exist in small numbers, whereas in Southern Cydonia, this is where the Snow Drake exists.

The Military Forces:

The Panzergrenadier Sardaukar Legions:

The Panzergrenadier Sardaukar Legions are the elite of the Kraven Military, these units were created by Father and have some of the most sophisticated but Crude cyberware and Bioware for 2051

Follows are a Detailed Description of the Cyber and Bioware Augmented into the Phase 4.

Ultrasound Sensor: This is an implanted version of
the ultrasound sensor, this is part of the Enhanced Optical Mag

Bone Lacing: The cellular structure of the user’s bones
is removed and replaced with reinforced plastics and
metals to improve the Subjects strength and tensile strength,
but the augmentation also adds extra weight to the subject, but the increase is minimal but lowers the amount of Sardaukar that can be transported via VTOL.

Wired Reflexes: This highly invasive operation implants
a multitude of neural boosters and adrenalin stimulators
in strategic locations all over the body, The Sardaukar reacts with a quicker response to orders received and can process targeting multiple targets at once.

Cyberarm Gyromount: This cyber augmentation replaces the Phase 4's wrist with something that can effectivly absorb the recoil from the Pulse Carbine, The Gyromount is fitted into both wrists.

Enhanced Articulation: A number of procedures like
joint-surface coating, relubrication, and tendon and ligament
augmentation lead to more fluid muscle and joint action.

Muscle Augmentation: Using a biological weaving
treatment, special vat-grown muscle cables are braided into
existing muscle fibers, enhancing the muscle’s mass and performance.

Muscle Toner: This treatment incorporates vatgrown
elastic muscle fibers into existing muscle tissue,
increasing muscle tension and flexibility.

Orthoskin: Weaves an energy-diffusing material just
beneath the skin provides the equivalent of personal armor,
while being virtually indistinguishable from unaugmented
skin.

Pathogenic Defense: An enhancement of the spleen,
this treatment spearheads the production of more effective
and aggressive leukocytes (white blood cells).

Symbiotes: These tailored microorganisms introduced
into the user’s bloodstream greatly enhance its regenerative
functions (This is Known as the Necrovirus)

Damage Compensator: Compensators are implanted ribbons
of transmissive nerve fiber that bypass the safety inhibitors,
allowing their host to act while suffering from physical
and mental trauma.

Pain Editor: The editor is a cluster of specialized nervous
tissue designed to filter sensory stimuli.

Synaptic Booster: With this bioware, the nerve cells
making up the spinal cord are encouraged to replicate and
lengthen, providing a wider “datapath” for the transmission
of impulses and decreasing the amount of time required for
the signal to traverse the distance.

The Optical Mags:

The Optical Mag is the Universal Vision enhancers used throughout the Corporation from, Capitol Police to Tank Gun Sights, to Sardaukar and Battleship Main Deck Gun Sights, They include the Following:

Flare Compensation: This protects the user from
blinding flashes of light as well as simple glare. Flare compensation
also protects users with thermographic vision
from heat flashes and glare from infrared lighting.

Low-Light Vision: This accessory allows the user to
see normally in light levels as low as starlight. Total darkness
still renders the user as blind as an unmodified person.

Smartlink: This accessory interacts with a smartgun
system to project the weapon’s angle of fire into
the user’s vision, centering red crosshairs where the user is
pointing and highlighting perceived targets, laser rangefinder also calculates and displays the distance to the target. Additional data from the weapon, such as the ammunition level, heat buildup, and stress can also be displayed.

Thermographic Vision: This enhancement enables vision
in the infrared portion of the spectrum, enabling the
user to see heat patterns. Thermographic vision is a very
practical way to spot living beings in areas of total darkness
(even though it’s difficult to fully determine their type and
appearance), to check if a motor or machine has been running
lately, and to track heat footprints.

Ultrasound: The ultrasound accessory consists of an emitter
that sends out continuous ultrasonic pulses and a receiver
that picks up the echoes of these pulses to create a topographic
ultrasound “map” that is laid over (or replaces) the user’s normal
visual sensory input. While ultrasound vision is perfect
to “see” textures, calculate exact distances, and pick up things
otherwise invisible to the naked eye, it is less adept at other tasks like perceiving colors and brightness.
The ultrasound sensor can be set to a passive mode, in
which it does not emit ultrasonic pulses but still picks up
ultrasound from outside sources (such as motion sensors or
someone else’s ultrasound sensors on active mode. (this system is only used in Sardaukar Optical Mags and those of The Wolf Brigade)

Vision Enhancement: Vision enhancement gives the
Unit sharper vision.

Vision Magnification: This zoom function magnifies
vision by up to 50 times, allowing distant targets to be seen
clearly. It is available as both an optical or electronic (with real-time image
correction)

OOC: His genetic engineering of his CP troopers is another thing. A 5 year growth cycle is a cheap tactic, no matter how you spin it.

Well, this technology (according to the source it's from Shadowrun) is actually roleplayed as being around 2060, so thats about fifty-five years actually, and even then it's limited by the idea that too much of this stuff in your system will basically kill you (again Shadowrun, where they use the idea that there is only so much technology the body can take before there is no longer any essence. Other excuses are simply that the body can't take the stress, which is more realistic).

I agree with Automagfreek, this technology is pretty close to future technology, I've been using Shadowrun technology (though hardly to this extent) for quite some time and generally Iuthia is concider to be post modern technology... that said I don't actually use all these modifications on Iuthia soldiers. Even my elite probably only get a small amount because frankly it's just not cost effective to have your soldiers kitted out with just advanced technology when the benefits are limited. So at best we're looking at near-future technology here, not really something I would field against someone with PMT unless you got permission... otherwise it's just technology wank.

Sure, a super-soldier is oh so much more capable then a regular soldier, but in the wrong conditions he will die almost as easily as any normal grunt. Just because they react better doesn't mean someone flanking and shooting them in the back would be any less affective, and even with a tougher body a bullet still makes a hell of a mess, and the regeneration as far as I remember it would only assist in recovery after combat, but it doesn't stop a fatal wound being any less fatal, take one to a vital organ and they are still going to have serious problems. Such elite soldiers are best used for special operations and are wasted when used like cannon-fodder without support.

Don't get me wrong, I love Shadowrun and I love Dune's Sardaukar, I don't have a problem with someone using them in their concept, but I think it's unfair to use them against PMT nations like you are here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=10026604&postcount=88) and still make them out to be near unstoppable when you are clearly outnumbered, outmanuvered and outgunned. To take so little losses is only fair when the other side agrees to it, otherwise it's pretty much technology wank.

I make them out to be unstoppable, in the first encounter against a nation, Against Automagfreek this was the first encounter and i wanted to hit home the Pyschological factor of them, The Necrovirus was created by Concremo then altered by me, these are also an adaption of Drugs used to sustain life of those who are overly cyber'd up, In further encounters such as Automagfreek in my home land, they won't be so hard, but this is a free form RP, so feel free to ignore them and me if you feel so inclined to do so, but with everything i design, there are always major flaws that can be taken advantage of, you only have to find them.

Military Forces

The Kraven Military Force is an Impressive sight to behold, Vast legions of Capitol Police troopers marching in perfect time. Each trooper looking exactly the same as the last.

The Kraven Military focus's its power upon Psychological Combat, using their apperance, tactics and weaponry to break the moral of enemy soldiers which Generaly results in a break down in communications, Ability and willingness to fight back.

The Following is a Detailed Description of the Capitol Police.


Sturmpanzer Capitol Police

The Sturmpanzer Captiol Police are the Mainstay of any Kraven Military Force, these are the most numerable and generaly the most witnessed, these Soldiers are always at the fore front of an attack, and not only Lead assaults but also defend areas occupied by Kraven Forces.

Sturmpanzer units are broken down into Squads, usualy Squads of five, that work together as a close knit unit, using their Protect gear to repel enemy gun fire.

Capitol Police Protect gear

a heavily protected Armoured suit designed to protect the wearer from enemy attacks.

The Protect gear works best in squads of 5 where each trooper covers the other members of the squads weakpoints, maximising the protection offered by the armour.

Protect Gear was designed to be most effective in Urban areas of combat, where the confines of a building work against the attacker and for the Trooper.

The Armour is made up from Iridian Ore an element discovered at the dawning of the year 2020, During a Geological Expedition into Northern Cydonia, here the ore was discovered to be of high strength and light weight, however Long term exposure to the Ore in its raw state leads to Iridium poisoning, After refining and smelting the resulting metal is harmless and can be manufactured into armour.

However in procuring this Ore, many slave workers die in the process making the Cost to produce high in the terms of resources, which is also another reason why The Corporation is always at some form Combat or Occupying a nation.

The Protect gear however has some weakness,

The inner thighs of the Armour are exposed to enemy fire, as are areas of the abodemen and the neck is also a weak point, also weak points are the Area at the rear, this is only lightly armoured, if armoured at all, in this case, the trooper is generally engaging troops facing them from the front, In urban areas Enemy forces will find it difficult to outflank and advancing Capitol Police squad.

In the cases of Enemy troop formations opening fire upon a Capitol Police trooper, the majoritory of rounds will strike the armoured area, when confronted by an Intimidating armoured foe, the soldiers generaly do not have time to stop and think, taking time to aim, the "Spray and Pray" Scenario works to the advantage of Capitol Police troopers.

However, for example a sniper, who is hidden from veiw and would have ample time to target the trooper, will make good this advantage and bring down a trooper with effective fire practices, targeting the weaker points in the Armour.




Captiol Police Heiarchy

A Capitol Police trooper is not a person or does not recognise himself as a sole entity but rather a Group entity or a collective, Capitol Police troopers always refer to themselves as "We" or their serial number, Example "THX 1138"

Capitol Police troopers do not have ranks, but generaly when operating patrols one Capitol Police trooper will be placed in charge of co-ordinating the unit, Relaying Communications between the Command Relay and the rest of the unit. The Squad "Leader" is generaly chosen by the Serial Number they are assigned at birth. Example.

THX 1138
AJH 1233
IOQ 998
DDH 9913
IIQ 1100

In the above squad IOQ 998 would be assigned the Squad Leader, IOQ 998 has the lower Serial number, therefore was armed and armoured before the others, Came off the production like first so to speak


Capitol Police Numbers Breakdown

The Capitol Police Fighting force is broken down into Battalions, these Battalions contain 1,000,000 Soldiers that are broken down into the following

600,000 Capitol Police Sturmpanzer Troopers
400,000 Supporting personel, including Logistical Korpz, Air Crews, Armoured Unit Crews, TacKomKorpz (The Officer Korpz) Engineers and Medical Crews.

Each Battalion is then Broken down into Brigades, each Brigade has 100,000 Capitol Police soldiers and 10,000 Supporting Units

Each Brigade is broken down further into Tactical Brigades, Each TacBrigade has 10,000 Capitol Police Soldiers and 9,000 Supporting Units.

Each Tactical Brigade is broken down into Mobile Units of 100 Soldiers each and 10 Supporting Units, these operate in Squads of 5, each Supporting unit is allocated where it is needed.

The Following is a Summary of Breakdown Names:

Battalion: 1,000,000 Soldiers
Brigade: 100,000 Soldiers, 10,000 Supporting units
Tactical Brigade: 10,000 Soldiers, 1,000 Supporting units
Mobile Units: 100 Soldiers, 10 Supporting units

The Birthing Programme

Capitol Police are not taken from a normal populace, but rather are specialy bred for the sole purpose, but to serve in the Military.

Each Trooper is specialy bred, designed to fullfill this sole purpose.

The Following post describes The Birthing Programme:

The Inquisitor limped behind a group of conduits as Lieutenant Aliona provided a burst of covering fire from her heavy machinegun. This is not going well at all, Huorn thought dourly. Killsquad Alpha had forced their way into the facility, but had raised the alarm in the process. Klaxons blared out as Kraven troopers piled into the repulsive facility, closing in on the kill.

‘Jotax, I want images of this cursed facility and all the evidence we’ve gathered transmitted world wide immediately,’ Inquisitor Huorn snarled, firing several well armed bursts from his assault rifle at a group of Capital Police. Hyelin screamed as a man possessed as he fired high explosive rounds again and again at the demonic beasts, despite having taken two bullets to the stomach. He was fuelled partially by his burning hatred of the Kraven filth, partially by pure adrenalin and mostly by his disgust at what the Killsquad had uncovered.

The ghastly facility they had uncovered was obscene, it was repugnant even after the many horrors the Killsquad had witnessed attempting to enter Kraven. It was an industrial birthing facility.

Vast rows and rows of the massive facility had greeted the sickened team upon arrval, vats wherein were entombed human women. Jotax, the scientific specialist of the team, had hypothesised that the women must once had been fully alive, but had since been lobotomised by the vile Kraven physicians to remove their higher brain functions. This was confirmed by his examination of Kraven records. Was this what awaited the female citizenry of Xirnium, should they fail in their noble war? The scientist-priest could not guarantee that the lobotimised females did not feel pain though, like an animal would, an in fact suspected that they might exist in extreme and perpetual agony.

The women were mechanically attached to machines, being used as birthing vectors for production of the inhumane Capital Police. They were mutilated and disfigured, their eyes surgically removed to make way for bundles of wires that attached to the apparatus they were part of. Still more tubes and pipes were connected at other parts of the body, through the head, everywhere, feeding it with nutrients, energy, supplying oxygen, removing wastes. The head was cut open to reveal the brain, probes attached to it so that the autoregulatory functions of the subjects could be directly manipulated. All designed to keep the wretched women alive in their purgatory of horror.

The women’s abdomens were sliced open, exposing the wombs were the fetus of the Capital Policeman developed. Numerous tubes siphoned of excess blood and other material while surgical clamps held the skin open. Mechanical arms, ending in manipulators or surgical equipment, tended to the abomination, preventing infection, manipulating the fetus during development, ensuring the health of the female, etc.

The stench of chemicals had been overpowering, and Inquisitor Huorn had held a cloth over his nose in disgust as he ordered Jotax to examine one of the computer monitors and devices connected to every evil machine. Apparently they were there to monitor the vital signs of the women, to regulate the administration of drugs, chemicals and hormones which altered the Captial Police foetuses from conception. Cables attached to the unborn child’s head constantly electrically stimulated the brain, psycho-conditioning them to become automaton killers. Jotax theorised that, in order to become the soulless, emotionless monsters that they did in adulthood, the experience (which continued after birth) must be extremely traumatic and harrowing during the childhood of the subjects.

Examining the computer system further, hacking into supposedly secure files, Jotax had confirmed that the horror didn’t end at birth, when the child was cut from the womb by the mechanical manipulators. Instead, it was subjected to a further regimen of brutal enhancement and conditioning, growing to adulthood in less than 2 years.

It was all absurd, revulsion the likes of which had never been experienced spreading over the killsquad. After what they had witnessed, they no longer cared if they lived or died..

A nearby grenade thrown by a Capital Policeman exploded, toppling one of the birthing chambers. It’s deformed and mutilated female tumbled out of it, ripping from the cables and wires to collapse onto the floor, covered in the various liquids and chemicals of the unit. Crouching low, the Inquisitor screamed over the noise, firing another burst at some Capital Policemen who were steadily advancing on their position, ‘Damnit Jotax, I want that uplink and I want it now!’

‘Done, Lord Inquisitor,’ the scientist-priest cried, a hint of pride in his voice, as he rolled over behind the cover of one of the vast multitude of birthing vectors, now ruined by gunfire. ‘What should I send?’

‘Everything! Video surveillance of the entire blasphemous facility, audiovisual monitoring of the birthing vats with their live humans, all the computer files on the system detailing the inhumane program, everything! This is the proof. The Kraven filth must be exposed!’

‘Broadcasting now my Lord,’ Jotax said, ‘as he fired a well aimed round right into one of Kraven’s many monstrous stormtroopers.

Hyelin was dead, brought down by enemy gunfire. Jotax was pinned down behind his vat, unable to move. Inquisitor Huorn was injured, and would not escape alive. Lieutenant Aliona, fired madly to give them cover.

‘For the God-Emperor!’

None survived.

The Flesh Vats or Living Wombs, are gathered from Female populaces of Subjugated nations and or Local Stocks.

Women are generaly chosen for the Birthing programme, when exhibiting, Heightend reflexes, Intelligence, Strength or any attribute that would contribute to the Capitol police Birthing programme.

These women are Labotomised and Hooked up to these machines that not only keep them alive but at the same time monitor the Subjects vital signs, while the "Birthing Vector" is still alive, they are for all intents and purposes Dead.

Their Higher brain functions have been inhibited, however lower brains functions are still active, and thus are in a constant state of Pain, although unable to Express it.

The Birthing Vectors are not given any form of Pain killer as this can and usualy does effect the Final Product outcome.

Each Fetal Trooper is subjected to Horrific Images, and Propaganda rendering them Immune to psychological Warefare, and lacking any rudrimentary form of Emotion. During this time, the Child is conditioned with Civil law Doctrines, and is given basic Training in the form of Images that are wired directly into the developing brain, using the malleable time to effectivly Train them into the Soldiers of War.

During Development, the Fetus is subjected to increased Hormones that will assist in the development of muscle mass and strength, while at the same time a Modifed Steroid Compound is injected into the Womb that assists in the Fetus's development.

After Birth, Sturm Panzer units are given a horrific Cocktail of drugs that boost their Immune systems and ability to withstand pain, during this time the Cocktail of drugs also includes a series of Steroids and Natural Protein boosters that speed up the Natural growth process from eighteen years to adult hood, down to just two years, However this process is risky and generaly many Losses are created, although the MSG are working on ways to cut this down, the losses are still acceptable, considering the Ammount Created.

After two years has passed, the Infantile Trooper has been subjected to a Series of Training programmes, from Unarmed Combat, to Armed Combat, to Fire Drills, Parade Ground Drills, as well as Further psychological Conditioning, After two years has passed, the Trooper is trained in how to effectivly use Protect gear to his advantage, further training is continued involving basic Combat Tactics and Styles. During this time the Trooper is also hooked up to the Command Relay and quickly learns how to respond to it correctly, and use the available information to his advantage. Before birth the Child is taught Battle Language.

after a total of Six Years the Highly Trained Trooper is ready for Combat Duty.

Typical Kreismarines Soldiers, Dressed for Temperate Climate Combat Zones

Each Soldier spends 3 years going through extensive training to ensure their loyalty and ability to fight, each troopers training involves extensive survival training ranging from wilderness survival, to urban combat and various hand to hand techniques.

Kreigsmarines excel in fighting in Arctic Environments due to the weather of Kraven, their Uniforms are designed to keep them protected from the elements and are water proof, their boots have a thermal lining, although Summer Weather gear is issued when operations require it.

Kreigsmarines also have their own Tank Units and their Own Officer Korpz, A Reichmarshal and a Kreigsmarine Officer (Oberstadt Leutnant) can be differeciated by the Jet black uniform of a Reichmarshal, and the Drab Military Grey of a Kreigsmarine Officer (Note: Kreigsmarines attached directly to a Reichmarshal have Jet Black Uniforms)

Oberststurm Furhrer: This is a Field rank, given to the Officer in charge of overseeing an invading force, The Officer is generaly in command of Multiple Battalions and Naval Arms, or in some cases Air Wings

Oberstfaust Furhrer: This is the Above Rank, however the Officer is Permantly in Command of multiple Battalions and Naval Arms or Air Wings, instead of only being in Command during the Duration of the Invasion

OberstKampf Furhrer: This Rank is a Garrison Commander, The Officer will generaly be in Command of a Single Battalion located on a boarder or in Occupied Territory

Oberst Stadt Furhrer: The Highest Rank available in the Kraven Military, this rank is given to Officers who are placed in Command of entire Countries, they are tasked with overseeing Operations, from Exterminations to various other duties nessesary in Kraven Occupied Territories.

Diablo Class Light Tank

Designed with speed and Manoverability in mind, What it lacks in Armour it gains in speed, squadrons of Diablo class Tanks can quickly outflank enemy formations and strike at the weaker armour, or in certain cases strike at enemy Supply coloums, Often small units of Diablos will make deep penetrations into enemy territory, scouting out locations and causing problems for Fuel and Ammunition Dumps.

The Diablo is based off the Russian T 90, but has superior composite armour, that is light weight and durable, for units making moves into enemy held territory, Crews often add extra armour plating and other customised parts to ensure their long term survival.

Extra fuel on long journeys can be carried in the Tanks at the rear of the vehicle, these have a self sealing rubber inner layer that if the Cannister becomes compromised, fuel will not spill out across the tanks chassis.

The GPMG or (Corporate GPMG/ MG42) is the Standard weapon of the Kraven War Machine, it is used widely through Capitol Police ranks, and is used as a support weapon in the numbers of Kreigsmarines.

The Weapon has been heavily altered since its inception during the early years of Nazi Control in 1930's Germany, but the basic look and style remains the same.

Some of the major Differences are the Inclusions of Recoil Suppressors, additional Flare suppressors, a Barrel design to cause a Distinct sound, and Smart Links.

The Following is a breif Description of each element of the Weapon's Upgrades.

Recoil Suppressors:

The Problem with GPMG's is the high rate of fire often leaves the weapon with an unwieldy kick to it, causing aiming to be a problem, so to avoid this a system of pistons and other energy diffusion methods have been incorporated into the weapons design to make the weapon an almost Recoiless firearm.

This allows greater accuracy and allows the weapon to be fire from the hip for long periods of time, instead of as previous designs required, the setting up of a tripod.

Flare Suppressors:

The additional flare suppressors, diffuses the flare and gasses escaping from the weapon during prelonged firing, the suppressors diffuse the gasses away from the user's field of vision, and reduced dust kick up when laying prone.


Altered Barrel:

The Weapons barrel has a grooving that as air is forced out of the barrel by the moving bullet, causes a sound similar to tearing paper to eminate, giving a distinct sound, this is part of the psychological warfare used extensivly by the Corporation, allowing defenders to know that the Capitol Police are bearing down upon them. The Barrel has also been strengthened, allowing fewer barrel changes over long periods of time. The Heat exchange has also been improved, stoppin the barrel from becoming damaged due to over heating.

Smart Links:

The Smart link is a series of optical sights, that to work requires an Optical Mag, the optical mag is connected to the weapon via a cable that enters at the Pistol Grip, the Optics of the weapon then place a Cross hair onto the Optical Mag that follows the direction of the gun and identifies possible targets, this is a very basic design and simply highlights movement regardless of their IFF. the Smartlink in co-operation with Zoom functions of the optical mag, allows this GPMG to be as deadly if more accurate than any Assault rifle out there.

Overall developments to this weapon are focused around Range, Rate of fire and overall accuracy, making this weapon an Ideal choice as a standard weapon for Capitol Police forces.

Well, For a start Kraven is not Nazi, the german phrases and military ranks are used because Kraven is a Germanic-Russio nation (or at least Slovania was before the Kraven Take over) I try to remain origonal with my ranks.

As for the Capitols, i do it without thinking, usualy on the emphasis of a word or phrase, now i do not appreciate non constructive comments from someone ive not heard of, I remain by my phrase, If you don't like what i do, Don't Interact with me, simple, I don't need this shit on my Factbook.

But if you're going to have your Jin-Roh troops with magical MG42s and ranks based on WW2 German ranks, it behooves you to do some research or your credibility plummets.

Case in point: S M Stirling, Marching through Georgia. Stirling is widely hailed as a supremely well-read writer of alternate history, and he does spin a good yarn. But when his evil ubermenschen are reenacting the horrors of Thermopylae in the face of 1st SS, Liebstandarte Adolf Hitler, the reader just giggles.

And if you didn't get why the reader giggles, you shouldn't use German ranks.

Now do you understand why this sort of thing is absolutely crucial?

I mean, look at Shadowrun, even though most of the technological stuff won't be occuring anytime soon, at least they try and offer an explanation to how it works.
