International news broadcast

Correspondent: Today in the capital city of Rin, The Holy Empire of Akaron held a military parade showing off its strength to the international community. Spectators watched cheerfuly from the streetsides as the army of Akaron marched by on its way to the "Square of National Harmony" in the center of the city.

--on camera--3,000 soldiers clad in there crimson armor marched shoulder to shoulder, there Raxore Automatic Rifles slung over there backs and Lances with the Akaronian flag atop. 3 columns of Devastator class battle tanks rolled in front of the soldiers with 4 columns of Liberator class battle tanks in the rear. Meanwhile Fighter Jets roared over the city leaving smoke trails across the sky.--on camera--

Desk: This is obviously a message to the international community, "We are here, and we meen business".

Lord Thomas lay on his couch in the Royal Chambers watching Television after quite an exhausting day on a trip to one of his least popular provinces.

To his amusement he turned on the Television to be greeted by an international broadcast showing some nation having a military parade? Why does this deserve to be internationally broadcasted?

The All-Mighty Lord Thomas II of Pallawish Corporation immediately changed the station to the 'Shopping Channel'

President Bynschev was in a big fix... In a few days he was opening the new Parliament of Bynzekistan, and he was inviting delegates from other nations to speak at the inaugural session. However, that morning he had also been alerted to a potential terrorist threat, and an Intelligence Service agent was dead. Defence departments were scrambling to cope with everything, and Bynschev was trying to contain the information from the press and the public.

He took a sip of coffee and flicked on the television. He needed a break.

He was greeted by the sight of a magnificent army parading through its capital city. It was truly incredible. Bynschev's mind started ticking over. An army like that must have a truly admirable administration and defence service behind it. He needed that now. Bynzekistan needed that now.

But what could he offer in return? Bynzekistan's defence departments were booked up, and the military would be shortly occupied dealing with the threat to national security....

The opening of Parliament, he thought. That was it. He would contact the leader of Akaron and strike a deal. In return for the loan of his Intelligence services in helping to investigate this threat, he would allow a delegate, even an entire ambassadorial party to attend the few days over the inauguration ceremonies, and make them honorary guests. They could even address the House. Akaron would have international ties, and Bynzekistan would be safe. It was an interesting thought.

Bynschev called his secretary in immediately and asked her to call the palace in Rin...
